Guys can anybody link the working version of the wallet? Mine crushes after update.
i use the last exe from yesterday which is working fine: no sync problems, no crashes, pos working fine. the newest exe seems to crash on my pc, so i still use the last from yesterday. i think the dev will soon release a new version let me know if you need a link to download the exe i'm using atm. What operating system are you running? |

Do you just mean confidence is low in the dev team or some such? And has it been checked for hidden premine by anyone?
Well, yeah, perhaps low confidence in the dev team, frustration from lost hashpower, pools and exchanges averse to dealing with it. And all that is not to say it's not worth it. The variable PoS is a nice innovation, and the dev has been damn diligent. Not sure if it's been audited for any hijinks, but feel free... the source is on github. Feel free to audit it: https://github.com/vericoin/masterI assure you no funny stuff. We know that value comes from trust and confidence, so premining, hidden premines and the like, just kill coins. It doesn't matter how much you premine if your coin is dead. Also, ironically the buzz about vericoin has brought it extreme amounts of hashing power in very short time frames. When this happens on a new network some farm hits 51% inevitably and anyone not connected to them can be left in the dust. We have worked to mitigate and minimize this, but ultimately the excitement about this coin has been a gift and curse for a new, growing network. However when we move into the PoS phase it will just be a gift because hashing power is no longer a concern. |

Wallet sync struck - 152 blocks remaining. Dev - any help? Thx. if you have the newest wallet from this morning then keep wallet.dat but delete everything else in your %appdata%\Roaming\VeriCoin folder and open the application again |

You have any idea what i did for VRC? Or any idea how much time/energy is needed for getting the payoutlists together, collecting addresses? I gues not. Maybe you just take care what you say, or you might be the last one receiving coins! Testbug has been very responsible about getting the payouts done. A fork is nightmare scenario for the pool ops in many respects. He has handled it very well. |

is anyone elses wallet stuck out of sync with coins stuck staking?
Try deleting everything in appdata\roaming\vericoin except wallet and vericoin.conf. This will reload the block and in the process will likely connect to new nodes in search of the most up to date block. The network still has some holes in it, though it's getting better everyday. |

vericoin is nice coin but how do you want to count capitalization of 2 days old coin? Hi SaraMine, On Bittrex, VRC has a volume of 22 BTC, where at the lowest end of a relatively stable price it's 500 satoshi. With a current total supply of 17003117. A current coinbase value for BTC of $449. 17003117 x 449 x 0.00000500 = $38,171.99 This put's VeriCoin on it's 5th day in coinmarketcap's top 100, or in the top 35% of coinmarketcap's current listing. This coin would be a good addition. |

why is everyone selling??? and at such a low price?
Quite a few of our coins have been mined by multipools and Chinese mining farms looking for a quick profit. Neither multipools nor mining farms hold their coins very long. This tends to depress the price since supply temporarily exceeds demand. We will soon be past the POW stage, and the overwhelming supply of coins held by these people will start to dry up. As that happens, equilibrium between supply and demand should be restored, and the price should climb. Right now, we have a unique buying opportunity. That's what I'm doing. I'm doing the best I can to buy as much as possible. I truly believe that the lower prices are a good thing, but I don't believe that they will last for long. My sentiments exactly sdmathis. |

Just want to say the folks associated with Vericoin and the pools have been most helpful in getting me straightened out with wallets, transfers and mining
Everything is working super. Bittrex also good . This coin is super fast
I've come to expect chaos, confusion, inconsistencies, and just about anything else when a new coin launches. PoS capabilities only magnify the problems.
So expecting things NOT to run smoothly is fine. Ironing the difficulties out is the issue which seperates the chances of minting a succesuful coin or a Dud'
This VERICOIN is going to Alpha Centuri if indications ring true.
