Lets make bounty found in cloaks , and pay all that we will be able to gather to guy/group who will find haker involved in stealling those cloaks (they should also provide evidence of guilt of that guy), so we will be able to call police to take him down.
What do you think ??
It's an important attitude to be taken. Stealing is the worst crime and must be punished. The community has to be supportive of it's members, and be very severe against hackers and scammers. So, maybe someone from development team would manage this wallet on which donations for bounty can be made. I suggest development team coz , people would like to have some level certainty that these founds will not be defrauded. [/quote] Sure stealing is a bad crime ... but there are way worse seriously... in this case it was like putting the money behind a window and wonder why it got stollen.

Reminds me of the c-cex hack back in Feb/March causing Darkcoiners endless agony but lucky to pick up cheap Darkcoins. also looks like there is a typo in the above explanation. Should be, as far I can see... the hacker bought MYC for about 7 BTC (until 100sat)
MYC was a Chinese scam and all this MYC engagement indicates the hacker is most likely from China. Darkcoin just cannot stay out of trouble in one way or another. I don't know what else to say. As usual the Cloakcoin thread is bashing Darkcoin for all this. It is a trend since the last run up throughout BTCTalk, blame Darkcoin for everything and anything . In fact I might open a parody thread in the Alt subforum. i dont think there is a typo here.. just check at Mintpal the recent market history : buy price went up from 8 sat (16:14) to 130 sat (16:40) edit : i see what you mean .. yr right.. suspect typo there too i for myself as cloakholder would not blame drk for it .... my guess drk is the target because of its high volume... so its easy for him to resell the drk on other exchanges for btc. the hacker probably gives a shit about anons at all ^^

Some asshole tried logging into my account on mintpal as well. Sucks to be them because I don't keep shit on any online wallet. All of my coins are in cold storage...
Plus I change my passwords every day if I have anything online at the time.
Has happened to me too, about two weeks ago, I was out, and I opened my mail from my mobile, and saw 3 mail of failed login, one on crypsty e 2 on mintpal. Same IP, so I wrote to them to tell the fact. How do they discover your email? I don't know, I use the same email I have here but the Hide email address from public? is checked, so I ignore how they have it. Fortunately it was the first and last attempt by someone to my account since I'm on MP. interesting.... did you sign up anywhere lets say 1-2 weeks before that?
You have to verify it from the email before you could withdraw from mintpal, right? How did he withdraw DRK?
2 accounts involved i guess
The lul worthy part of it... the hacker did it totally wrong. He could have just cashed out the Cloak directly. Saved themselves about $10000+ in the panic buy/sell process. Staked the coins until PoSA came out and moved it without anybody ever knowing where it went.
not if the email account attached got a different password which was not keylogged

Sure, anon coins are mostly useful to some shady people and their shady businesses. But now it's official. DRK camp has a thief on board! i wont involve drk community in it ... maybe drk is just the easiest way to wash the coins on other exchanges to pay out in btc
An another hack after vericoin? Mintpal really suck...
its not MP fault if someone has lousy security...
did you even read whats in the OneLedger WhitePaper? Its all answered there
was supposed to hear something yesterday, but haven't seen an update.
i was told in IRC that they did some bugtesting yesterday on the site, with registration and stuff.

what about cloak pay? when is releasing?
cloakpal

I'll start buying again as soon as my OKPay transaction comes through, so, in a few days, hopefully on Monday. One can only hope that the prices won't rise too much by then.
It's the weekend. It's usually pretty slow on the weekends. We are currently looking at 10 btc to 300k and 8btc to 200k... id say this is the new balancing point. When it decides to climb... it's going to go fast. The rich list has less than 100 people who can really make an impact when selling a large amount. The only way this coin will fall is if the devs walk away, or the technology turns out to be a bust. Otherwise, this coin will be worth a lot more than it currently is. I'm pretty excited to see where it goes the next couple weeks. you should not forget those that have split to multiple wallets

where is the volume bars :p

JESUS 13 BTC to get back to 270k...
we're still in mid flight guys, might be a bumpy ride but it's not going to take much to reach the next all-time high, we've been cracking them steadily for the past 3 weeks... no sight of slowing down!
and am i the only one who actually understood the flow chart? i don't really know much about the inner workings of crypto, but this is the first time i think i've actually understood what's going on with Cloak PoSA, and that's cool!
no i did too.... people are just moaning about some arrows and blocks that could have been moved different... context is obvious for anyone who can read some chart.
I give you a hint.... its Joe
No what is shows is that who ever drew it has never taken a single course in algorithm design, or even process management. To the university grads here, did you ever see something like this in CompSci 101? thats like moaning against somebody about his bad english.... even if you did understand everything. Yep you are right this can be done better.... but point is i do understand what the chart wants to tell so its not a bad chart.

PoSA is entirely trustless and solves the Byzantine Generals problem.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
Would that diagram suffice as evidence? Appreciate your input. Thanks No. Here is an analogy. Here is a description of a warp drive, using the known laws relativity. This does not constitute evidence of faster than light travel. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcubierre_drive#Mathematics_of_the_Alcubierre_driveWhat would you consider valid evidence then? Well that was my original question, which I do not have an answer for. Full open source audit by industry experts would be pretty fool-proof for me, but by that time most of the price rise would have happened in anticipation. And in the meantime? Either you should be convinced by that chart now and should get some Cloaks... or it does not convince you but then i dont understand why this thread is still ur business. You can buy on speculation what MIGHT be and earn some profit.... or wait till your Open Source Audit happened and likely buy way less cloak for the btc and hope the dev team got some further innovation

That diagram is a mess. I am trying to work out the flow but the language used is like the boxes are having a chat (conversations) with each other thats why it is called a flow chart. I think the different colours make it pretty easy understandable.... or it may be that im just used to flow charts from university

For those of you guys, who have not followed #cloakcoin on IRC today, there are some fresh news from one of the main developers, posted some minutes ago. Enjoy! x11joe: I'm working on encrypted messaging first. x11joe: That is the first step to secure communication for the market. x11joe: I'm working on that now actually . x11joe: It's actually not as hard as I thought to implement. x11joe: You guys know how encrypted messaging works right? x11joe: If not I can give quick explanation x11joe: first if you have not watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?x11joe: v=GSIDS_lvRv4 x11joe: this explains public/private keys very well x11joe: and is very key to understanding this system x11joe: When someone creates a listing they get a public/private key pair x11joe: You encrypt your messages using the listee's public key. x11joe: this means only he can decrypt it with his private key x11joe: you then send this out to all nodes on the network x11joe: as an example... x11joe: lets say we had 50 people x11joe: I'm handing all 50 people the message x11joe: they all try to decrypt with their private keys x11joe: but only the person I sent to can do it succesfully x11joe: then within that message, they can prove it's me because I encrypt a validation token using my private key, and give them my public key in the encrypted message x11joe: yes x11joe: to everyone else it looks like giberish x11joe: it's actually a simple concept once you get it x11joe: this does require constant scanning of the database of the messages. x11joe: but it's not that bad x11joe: so might be 30 second delay on getting messages x11joe: but worth it for security x11joe: Anyways just wanted to share that so you know what I'm doing first x11joe: so expect to see that in the next major update x11joe: its the first step before one market. for you drizzle, enjoy

goddaamn what a day. I swear lastnight seeing it at 210k i was pooping my pants a little, yup, little poop.
i woke up several times as a saw it creep up to 270k, and really couldn't believe it, coincidentaly i had a dream that i was banging some cheerleaders in the back of a lambo.
then today happens, i look away for 2 hours and it jumps to 340k.
it's finally happening. it's happening!
don't listen to the haters! they're obviously seriously invested in making you sell your coins to them, as they haven't really made a peep until right now, until PoSA worked, until CloakCoin became self-aware.
these are historical days we're living in gentlemen, the way you comport yourselves will forever be etched in this timeless BCT document for all the children of the ages to witness. try not to be too much of a tard.
*WINEGLASS CLINKY*
High school cheerleaders? and were they of age? lol 1) you assume you know my age 2) you assume you know my country's laws 3) you assume they weren't really really dumb and have been held back in the 10th grade for 14 straight years. i think you must reconsider your signature
