681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What questions will you ask to a new ICO announcement on: November 22, 2017, 07:46:43 AM
What questions would you like to ask to a new ICO announcement to know if its promising or not?
Please help for beginners.  Smiley Smiley

They wont answer you since the things being commonly asked are already on their whitepaper or announcement threads. Some devs or owners would bother to answer you out but majority would directly speak that you must read up the whitepaper or the roadmap. As an ICO investors if you do have questions on mind then its not bad to ask but if its already being written and can be answer by yourself then i guess its not really necessary for you to ask basic things about the ICO if its already listed.
682  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin trading on: November 22, 2017, 07:07:38 AM
the money is still small so if bought altcoin a little profit in the can, but if you want to try to find altcoin that cost below $ 1
Buy altcoin in ICO could be good decision. New altcoin will expeeience pump so there is probability to get profit.
Then how you would send those btc? Those are only enough on the transactions and come to think off that purchasing ICO coins do have their minimum i dont know on some ICO but i do mostly see on this kind of agreement or accumulation which they do have fixed amounts or tokens been sold. It is possible but you would really take the risk and also you should really have a bigger stash or bankroll before you do engage on this one.
683  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: November 22, 2017, 06:12:22 AM
Is it enough to be smart with just nothing to lean on and go on with your life? Because i feel that there are a lot of people who doesn't know how to handle their money with regards to see in the future. Is it enough to be smart and not be strategical or somewhat a person who has a lot of experience. Who would you choose?

For me it is required to be a master of both things like of course you can not have experience if you are not going to try and some people would think it's a waste of their time if they are doing what they know already like repeating their work over and over again. So it should be in a balance.
Every successful business man or entrepreneur are really smart and strategic person. If we want to become successful in the cryptocurrency world, we should be smarr always and develop our strategies.
If you are smart then you would really able to create strategy along the way since you do have the intellect on the possible things that you would do which you can presume the possible outcome. I do believe that those strategic persons are also smart ones because you cant think off things if you do have a slow brain for sure which i do see these two things are really correlated to each other but if i do really have to choose one then i would go for smarter ones since later on you would able to create your strategy on things along the way.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arbitrage Trading BTG between Bittrex and Binance on: November 21, 2017, 09:43:17 PM
Well i've just found out what's keeping anyone from doing that. Apparently Binance. They suspended BTG deposits and withdrawals. So they let people trade only what's in the exchange, nothing more for now. That was too good to be real :S
Good catch up and they did really suspend BTC incoming and outgoing transactions because they are already aware on prices. Arbitrage is really a profitable move if you are really active on comparing prices on each exchange that you do know specially on the coins being traded on their. As long you can see the spread is good enough to make money less with the fees then it should be fine but the risk is that exchange can detect that you are making arbitrage that would cause for you to be blocked.

It might be profitable but it is also extremely risky, especially in a coin like bitcoin with 10minute block times... Before you get a confirmation the prices might have already drastically changed (or adjusted to a balance and then you've transfered over for nothing).
It is really risky because prices are way too volatile which would mainly affect the profits if we are behind for how many seconds or minutes on doing this stuff. Worst case is that you did make a transfer but you end up on having negative because of the fees. This is why i do really need fast confirmation and accessibility on both exchange if you do these kind of arbitrage.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before investing in any coins I would need to talk to you on: November 21, 2017, 09:16:45 PM
1.) How to know which altcoins are absolutely real and not scam/created by some thieves?
Knowing them would really be hard but somehow you can able to identify suspicious stuff when you do really tried to read up all the informations about them. Developer, whitepaper.
Usually i do always check out its dev experience and transparency.

2.) How to know which coin could possibly be a good investment?
No one knows because all of us are trying to find that coin thats why we do keep searching and guessing which one would be the potential one.

3.) How to actually invest in some coins?
Literally? You would need btc or funds to buy altcoins or on bitcoin itself.
686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What price range do you like to buy in to? on: November 21, 2017, 08:31:18 PM
When you're researching an alt for a new investment, is there a certain price range you aim to start at?

A lot of the coins I've invested in have been no more than a couple hundred satoshis and have generally earned me minimal gains, while I've skipped over some coins worth significantly more that ended up shooting up even further. On the flip side, I've also screwed myself over while trying to get in on a pump for a bigger coin.

Obviously the goal is to buy at any given coin's low point, but is it better to buy in to extremely cheap coins or coins that are already a bit stronger?
Common rule : Dont buy on those times on where a coin is being pumped or hyped up because if you did that for sure its a loss because most common thing happen on these cases the would really tend to pullback on prices or corrections which would lead up on negative floating and might possibly end up on panic selling. Price range do somehow needs some technical together with fundamental analysis and also some mix on intuition. This is my way of doing trading.
687  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: November 21, 2017, 07:25:16 PM
Trading is not an educated guessing. Many people losses their money because they don't have enough knowledge to trade their coins. Trading is really a hard job and we should have a lot of information about trading.

Agree. Trading is not  like gambling that is guessing and only luck. Trading is all about knowledge about that coin and the news about it that it will be pump or dump. You will guess the price or up until its price with the reason why it is pumping unlike guessing only that you have no bases. Though on the other hand mostly those who guesses will more lose their money
Exactly! There is no way that you can actually treaty trading just like that of educated guessing. In fact, trading is much more than that of educated guessing. There are number of things which you need to have in order to become an expert in the world of trading.

The things which you need to have includes chart analysis, knowledge level, sharp mindedness and above all control over your emotions.
"Control over your emotion" -> This is the most important to help you become the expert in trading. I don't need to have other things, but my emotion is always important than all. Because other things can affected by my emotion, so, as long as I can control my emotion, I can own all.
I completely agree on this one because emotion do really play a great role on this trading activity of ours.Once its being affected then it will really affect our ways on how we do trade. Strategies and knowledge would really mess up along the way because we cant think off properly compared when we are on calm situation. Trading is somehow an educated guessing which we do make decisions basing on fundamentals and other tools not totally making decisions on random because if thats the case you are just like on making gambling.
688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: November 21, 2017, 05:42:51 PM
If the prices are falling them scoop the bloodbath to save some money and also to have a chance to make profit faster because the price will go up again and that is the pattern in this cryptocurrency market. Don't just observe the market and do nothing because the best thing that you can do in order to earn a lot even the prices are falling is to scoop them up.
Altcoins are not good for holding when the prices are low because there are numerous cases of altcoins when they decreased in price and never recovered the prices again. Bitcoin is the only when which needs to be held when the prices are continuously decreasing, rather that is the best time for buying bitcoin. Bitcoin is the father of all altcoins and they are dependent on it for their values.
On some altcoins then yes there are really times that when they do decrease their price they wont tend to recover which is truly happening on altcoin world but not all the time because some of them would really recover their prices too which it is still worth to hold up some coins specially on potential ones. The best thing to do when prices are falling is either you would risk to buy even more cheap coins or just take a pass since they arent worth to buy on.
689  Economy / Economics / Re: Alt coin price manipulation is much easier than with BTC on: November 20, 2017, 05:26:06 PM
Something that became more evident this last week is that Alt coin price pumping/manipulation is MUCH easier than Bitcoin BTC. It only took Roger Ver and his shills a few days to super pump Bitcoin Cash with more than 100%. To have the same effect with BTC, you will have to get most of the BTC whales to act together and this is no easy task.

There are also more BTC exchanges to manipulate than Bitcoin Cash or Alt coin exchanges, so these Alt coin whales can concentrate their efforts for better results on only 1 or 2 exchanges where these coins are traded.

This is going to happen a lot more now, since this was such a huge success for these Pumpers, so be wary.  Roll Eyes

It's a simple case from an economic perspective, the volume in bitcoin is much larger naturally so it is hard to artificially manipulate it without huge huge amounts of investment. Whereas Bitcoin cash and to an even greater extent some smaller alts are much easier to manipulate with less funds. The day that a group collectively manage to manipulate bitcoin will be a crazy day that will make and break peoples lives in terms of profits or losses.
Manipulation would really be somehow hard on bitcoin because the cap was so big already and it is already being distributed to many users which means it can be easily manipulated unless if theres a group will took up or buy up huge amounts of bitcoins (lets say hundreds thousands of bitcoins ) then i can really give effects on bitcoins price no matter what move they would make.
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: November 20, 2017, 04:35:45 PM
It really depends on the ICO that you are about to invest in because if you will invest in some ICO that has a great team and a solid project then there is no doubt that it is a good investment but if you are just randomly picking ICO that you will put your money then it is not a good investment for me because you need to make a good basis first before investing.
As a wise investor we should always look up for the best possible ICO or project on where we do put our money on so that we can somehow assure that we can make money on the investment we do made. This is why its really our responsibility to make up research and some investigation on a certain project which we should set up a criteria or checklist before tending to make a final decision.ICO are good investment but would really depend on which project we are into.Never ever do nitpicking or just random investment.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this for real ? another fork of bitcoin ? BITCOIN DIAMOND on: November 19, 2017, 04:45:50 PM
Let's get real, these forks are here to stay, people are making money off them, I don't see that stopping.

Just like altcoins back then, people got mad at them for being Bitcoin clones with slight modifications, but some actually stayed and became successful.

Some people qualify these forks as dividends for Bitcoin Holders, do you think this is worth exploring ?

What could be the role of these Alt-Bitcoins in let's say, 3 to 5 years ?    Do you think they represent a threat to the current scarcity based model of Bitcoin?

Obviously, there's a real situation that needs to be addressed.
No one knows on what would be the roles of those forked coins on 3 to 5 years time but im sure they would really just the same on those traditional alts in the market which do have still some active traders or investors who do play on its price. For now if theres another fork into bitcoin which would be named Bitcoin diamond then i wont really be surprised anymore and i do expect that there would really be more upcoming.
692  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading for living. Myth or reality? on: November 19, 2017, 03:52:23 PM
Hello guys! I was thinking about financial freedom and how to reach that. I was trading for 3 years in classic markets and now I moved to crypto. My plan is to day trade with 1000 usd without any additional income from any other job. What do you think should I try this or that's not a good idea?
Its a reality but i do only see traders which is only on forex trading which they do make daily living with it and i do have a friend which is actually doing it and witnessing on my own eyes.I dont know if its possible on this cryptoworld but seeing off there would really be some traders who are going on that path but i would say it does need a capital for you to start off and should really be skillfull on this deadly battlefield of price volatility behavior of coins on here.
693  Economy / Economics / Re: What Is with The Negativity Around Bitcion...... on: November 19, 2017, 02:54:43 PM
So I get it Ok, When this Bitcoin first came on the scene it was blasted. So as I watch what is happening with Bitcoin I have to say there are just people who speak and have No Clue what they are talking about.

The other observation is what I am reading is all past financial executives. They are really just making a fool of themselves.

I will leave with this if the SEC is getting ready to allow Bitcoin for trading this instrument is valid........

The main source of this negativity is that people want to be "in" with bitcoin that they just want to jump right in without any knowledge about it. But they do know that they will be earning big. So they blindedly go with it just because of  "everybody is doing it" mindset without fully understanding what they're getting themselves into. So if they lose even small amount of money, they will already think that they have been scammed.
Those is always been part on which there are people who do really act as cry babies when they lose up money because it did break their expectations to make big money on bitcoin which they would make their false claims that it is a scam on which those people who havent heard about bitcoin and hear off those false informations would really cause a negative impact on bitcoins adoption. This negativity would really remain specially some of media do make false advertisement about bitcoin because government told them so.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why So Many ICOs — What Does It All Mean? on: November 18, 2017, 09:01:08 PM
Many ICOs means a lot of scam, people are just creating coins just for the money's sake and not developing anything not having a good product and developers means a shit ICO easy money for the developers.
Completely agree with you here. I feel that majority of the ICOs these days are nothing but scams and very few ICOs are actually legit in my opinion. So many scammy ICOs are popping up these days in order to steal money from naive people and it is very easy to create your own token these days thanks to the ethereum blockchain. This problem can be reduced if Vitalik and his team find a way to suppress this problem.

There is a quite easy way to avoid scam ICOs.

If there is a real, working, successful business behind the ICO, the chance of scam is zero.

Check out TE-FOOD. More than 6000 business customers, huge traction, and operates in the real life.
This is one of the things i do really like to see when a certain ICO do launch where it do have already been working and operating on real life which would somehow give me an assurance that it would really be successful. I wouldnt doubt to put up my money on these kind of ICO and going back to the question on why there are lots of ICO been launched recently then frankly speaking this is one of the most common way on making easy money into its developers they do create coin, hype it up then easy profits.
695  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Internet Marketing on: November 18, 2017, 08:19:56 PM
Online marketing or digital marketing is really a vast phrase, first determine by which region you ne to learn ?ed
Yeah the digital marketing is the best source of the investing and the price of the bitcoin will be high with it, now more than half of the population of the country is using the bitcoin online job and still some people are not accepting the power and the price of the bitcoin now it is happening and it is the best time for the bitcoin to grow in the price and the need it is the new age and the new people are buying and selling online goods with the bitcoin.
Even on the qouted post, the reply of yours isnt relevant on what he said and on the topic itself. Internet marketing is broad which means there are lots of division which you would need to know before you would able to understand the full concept of it. This is one of the common thing being used as of now specially on SEO,on every business do exist on net this one is most common. If you dont have any idea of these things then better to read up on basic informations so that you would able to understand.
696  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the anti government on: November 18, 2017, 07:01:09 PM
I have realized that almost every body is anti government when it comes to bitcoin and be decentralized or not being controlled by government.  Grin

True. I was reading in some other topic too. People have built mentality that government is against Bitcoin because it is good for people. Cheesy
They aren't aware of the fact that Bitcoin is serious threat to growing economy of the nations if not regulated wisely. There are tons of wrong doing happening in Bitcoin and can widened if Bitcoin isn't regulated soon in every nation. One of which is ICO. I do consider ICO to be the biggest threat to Bitcoin market, both legally as well as on the basis of survival. I am in favour that Bitcoin market must be regulated.
When it comes to ICO i would really be on the decision on which they should really be regulated but talking on bitcoins regulation then this would be still on 50-50 situation since not all government would really consider such thing. Most people do really on one side which they do really like bitcoin because it cant be controlled nor be regulated directly by them. They can regulate but only on the services which it has a connection on it.
697  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I make passive daily income with trading? on: November 18, 2017, 04:04:44 PM
Can I make passive daily income with trading?
I have little money of about 100$, Is it a good idea to start jump on Bittrex or Poloniex and
start buying alt coins for profit.
When we do talk about passive then its a state on where we dont do nothing but yet we are still earning or do have leveraging gains since we do talk about trading we cant really make passive income on it even on daily basis because even no matter how big or small your capital is , as a trader you cant be sure if you are profitable on that day or not. We do won some money and we lose some, its just like that. Passive incomes would talk mostly on investment which you just put up your money and you are earning interest fixed.
698  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1Btc=$10000 on: November 17, 2017, 05:05:15 PM
Don't you think Before December.a bitcoin could actually hit $10000
Its possible if the price movement or rally would continue like this then reaching out $10k usd would really be easy but as i have seen on the chart and making some technical analysis the $8k price is the resistance considered as new ATH and breaking it again would really be hard for sure and now price tends to go down again and would stabilize or would play on these 7k ranges or even lower depending on the market situation.
699  Economy / Economics / Re: Might not be a bad idea to sell off 5% of your stash.. on: November 17, 2017, 02:59:50 PM
Already sold @$7300 a few weeks ago and bought back @ $5500 a piece. Already enjoying my stack as of now and I think it would still perform well next month given that CME is already locked and more and more institutional investors are being tempted to invest and try the markets. It's lovely to play with bitcoin but you got to have all eyes and ears on the news before you make a move.
Fundamentals would really be crucial when you do make short trades on bitcoins price which you would really need to hear out news and possible upcoming events which would mainly affect bitcoins price. For now selling out 5% on my entire stash isnt bad at all and i did was selling almost 30% and buyback later on when the price would decrease again. All of my buy orders have been set out already.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: November 17, 2017, 02:03:27 PM
The recent bitcoin price volatility is particularly large, but the price of eth has been very stable, you choose to buy eth or bitcoin?
 Tongue Tongue Tongue
If you do have the money then why would hesitate or having doubts on choosing if you can have both?. These 2 coins are good for long term and on short term depending on how you do gonna trade it. These two are on the top which we can really expect for it to last for more years to come and would really be a best candidate to make profits on future years to come.If you do only have sufficient amounts to invest then i would still stick to bitcoin rather than on ETH and if i do gain profits then i would buy Eth later on.Rinse and Repeat.
