681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Poll: Will ZcRash reach 0.02 BTC before Christmas? on: November 26, 2016, 08:16:11 PM
There is a ton of market manipulation going on with Zcash.
Also still a lot of hype.
Its really hard to predict what its going to do. I'm surprised its still so high.
I honestly didn't think it would go back up to 0.1
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BURST Android mining on: November 26, 2016, 04:18:17 PM
I don't think most phones are going to have the amount of hard drive space you need to make any real money.
You need Terabytes of space to make even a few cents worth of coins.
32/ 64 GB of hard drive space probably isn't going to find you many deadlines.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: November 26, 2016, 03:57:02 PM
Price is up 10% on Poloniex today.
I was hoping to get some more cheap coins before people realized how good this project was LOL.  Sad
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: >>> PUMP WATCH <<< on: November 26, 2016, 03:54:19 PM
2FLAV is currently being pumped on Yobit.
Up 48% with 4BTC volume so just a small movement from 56 to 71 satoshi right now.

This is actually a decent project- I bought some coins a couple months ago.
I might just hold my coins in case this sees triple digit increase.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ZECD and LSK goinf to pump again? on: November 26, 2016, 03:49:05 PM
Any coin could get pumped again, but that might not be for a few months, or a year even...
You can just set a sell order and hope it gets pumped again, but don't waste your time checking every day.
It's going to be a while before a coin sitting at 1 satoshi gets pumped that high again.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No one wants to spend 10,000 of their Altcoins for a Pizza on: November 26, 2016, 03:43:22 PM
I have a few coins that I would gladly give 10,000 for a pizza.
(Sometimes I spend a few minutes on Yobit in the 'free coins' section.)

Also, the thing to remember about the guy who spent 10,000 BTC for a pizza-
If he didn't do that, would Bitcoin be worth $700 today?
That story generated so much news. I know it was the first time I heard about this "magic internet money".
687  Economy / Speculation / Re: BEAR MARKET STARTED - BTC is overheated. I OPENED SHORT postition on: November 26, 2016, 03:38:35 PM
A lot of people won't have extra money to invest in BTC because they just spent it on a new TV or Playstation/ Xbox.
Add that to the recent problems with transactions getting confirmed, and we're probably going to see another dip back to $700.
Followed, a week later, by a rise back to $750, like its been going all month LOL.  Grin
688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This man sells his cattle for Bitcoin in Zimbabwe! on: November 26, 2016, 01:57:47 AM
Yes unfortunately the paper money in Zimbabwe is basically worthless.
Most people, especially those in rural areas, are not going to have access to computers/ internet, so Bitcoin won't be an option for them.
One day it may be a possibility, but the idea of BTC being something that can help people in these situations is a long way off.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Economic Nobel prize for Satoshi Nakamoto on: November 26, 2016, 01:49:45 AM
If Bob Dylan can win a prize for his songs, why not.
But yeah I agree that the prize has been kind of tainted. Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize is actually kind of disgusting.

Sure bro I'll pm you a link in a minute.
Pay no attention if your antivirus gives any alerts, its probably just a false positive.  Wink
692  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Prive key ? on: November 26, 2016, 01:31:56 AM
How are you sending these coins? Are you using a wallet that you have installed on your computer?
Some wallets require you to put in your private key for verification, but you never send anyone else your private key.
This is the password to your coins, like a password that lets you log into an online bank account.

Post a little more information here and someone will be more than happy to help you
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 25, 2016, 11:34:41 PM
I'm actually amazed the price hasn't moved more with all the recent news...
Factom just seems like it has so much long-term potential.

I'm going to (finally) get off my ass and move my coins off the exchange since I don't plan on selling any time soon.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins potential in a year from now (List) (25/08/2016) on: November 25, 2016, 11:29:32 PM
Maybe its just because I'm hungry and in a bad mood,
but I feel like every coin on the market besides maybe Ethereum, Factom, Monero and maybe one or two others,
are such piles of garbage.

Every amateur coder is just copy-pasting some shit off GitHub to 'create' another trash coin,
dump their premined coins or whatever onto one of the exchanges and make off with their profits.
695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Friday, January 20, 2017, let's pay attention to that date on: November 25, 2016, 08:37:42 PM
I would be surprised if Trump were able to do even half the things he promised during his campaign.

Hes already backed off from banning Muslims from entering the county, deporting all illegal aliens, the wall between the US and Mexico will be a fence in some sections,
"draining the swamp" by keeping all lobbyists and Washington insiders wont happen-
he already has people like Reince Preibus who was the former chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin and has also talked to more than a few lobbyists as potential cabinet members.

I have hope that he is able to do some good for the economy of the United States.
Honestly, if he was able to reduce the national debt and re-negotiate some trade deals to keep jobs in the US, I would be more than happy.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: November 25, 2016, 08:27:29 PM
In the case of payment systems, you REALLY need a GUI.
Ideally, you will be able to run them on a mobile device like a phone or tablet,
which do not lend themselves to keyboards as easily as they do a touch-screen GUI implementation.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happend to XVC on: November 25, 2016, 07:58:32 PM
Keep in mind this is 100% rumor, and just people talking on the internet-
but I heard people making accusations that the XVC main developer has a serious drug problem, and has been using his profits to support his habit.

Also there were supposedly chat logs of devs laughing about how they are scamming everyone and the coin is a total Ponzi scheme.

(Again, I have no proof of any of this, just things I heard on some of the exchanges in the trollbox and on forums.)
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the Trojan horse to help push the move to a world government? on: November 25, 2016, 07:55:02 PM
If anything Zcash is the Trojan horse.
I won't feel sorry for any darknet vendors who accept this coin as payment, when the police show up at their door, and were able to somehow find their identity,,,
699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin fees, where's your limit? on: November 25, 2016, 07:49:16 PM
I personally would not buy something worth 15$ if I had to put one dollar at the top of it just to make the transaction.

A 6% transaction fee (sadly) wouldn't be much higher than a lot of financial payment services.
Hell, people take out payday loans that charge 200-300% interest and are borderline illegal. (Soon to be illegal in California.)
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XDN (DigitalNote) Price Speculation on: November 25, 2016, 03:29:19 AM
Nope, they fixed them.

Ahh I didn't realize how old your post was!
