6821  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: How to harrass billionaires? what's your ideas before choping their heads off? on: September 09, 2018, 10:51:03 AM
If you really think "billionaires" are the problem then you lost the plot.
6822  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: I would like to hear your opinion about Ethereum Classic on: September 09, 2018, 10:50:01 AM
ETC is a very solid project with a lot of potential. Any protocol improvements ETH implements can (usually) be easily integrated into ETC. ETC is one of the few projects IMO that follow the old spirit of the Bitcoin community and not the free lunch wave of 2013 and beyond. I have had some contact with the developers early on and they were receptive to suggestions.
6823  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: One cent crypto coins on: September 09, 2018, 10:45:15 AM
1. Active development preferably from people with a track record in blocktech
2. Active community
3. Growing infrastructure (retailers accepting it, exchanges, use cases, support structure)
4. Coin count/total coins issued, I prefer hard caps but some inflationary coins are useful for speculation
5. Try to aim for high count low cap coins, but not at the expense of the other traits you are looking for. This means more risk but more reward potential.
6. Solid network protocol - technical and security aspects are solid
7. A unique use case utility

These are some of the primary things I look for in smaller cap coins.

Instead of trying to make new rules to stop everything which will likely not be enforced any more heavily than it already is, use this discovery to build tools to find these people faster and report them.

6831  Economy / Goods / Re: CHEAP FedEx Shipping on: September 02, 2018, 11:05:09 PM
I have no idea if this user is legitimate or not, but similar services have existed here before and seemed to be legitimate. Just be aware that if they print the label they are capable of diverting the package to wherever they like.

Mostly correct-- the package can either be returned to sender or diverted to somewhere else within the same ZIP code. Either way, it does not refund the cost to me, and as such the only time at which I would have motivation to do so is when I do not receive payment. That is also why I allow for people to provide payment an hour after the label is provided. While it does hurt me financially to not receive payment and cancel the shipment, I find it worth it to send a message that I really do not tolerate scamming.

Also, in terms of your first point about legitimacy, I would be happy to provide you with a vouch label. PM me if you're interested.

Do you have any documentation regarding the same zipcode limitation? I know with USPS you can redirect a shipment at any time to anywhere for a fee. I would be shocked if such a service does not exist at FedEx.

The U.S. FAQ is less detailed due to newer website formatting than the following one, which indicates FedEx's personal definition of a reroute in the questino "Can I reroute a FedEx package in transit:"
http://www.fedex.com/nl_english/contact/faq.html

The procedure in the U.S. for such a reroute is indicated in the question about changing a delivery address here:
http://www.fedex.com/us/customersupport/shipping/shipmanager/

I think on a broader level, one would need to give me a real motivation to destroy the integrity of my operation by actually calling FedEx and paying $12.50 of my money to send a package with contents unknown to myself. Again, I am happy to provide vouch labels, as well as receive payment shortly *after* the label has been created rather than before.

All reasonable responses. Not trying to give you a hard time, actually trying to help by sussing you out so anyone with similar questions doesn't have to ask. Good luck.

I would suggest selling exclusive physical prints along with the digital along with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artists BTC address. I find a COA almost always helps sell any art piece, and the Bitcoin signature can be used to help verify authenticity. Also a physical print gives the customer something to physically hold so they feel like they got something for their money. I know it will cost more, but it will also end up in more sales Smiley Just my 2 cents. Good luck!
6835  Economy / Goods / Re: Kekistan Embroidered Flag Velcro Patch - 8.5x5cm - Shadilay $5 on: August 31, 2018, 09:38:21 PM
Roger that! You may have just sold yourself another Mystery box, I've been thinking about purchasing your smoker mystery box, but I simply do not need any additional glass pieces. I'm wondering if you would be able to replace the glass piece(s) with other goodies? It feels strange to make requests about the content of a mystery box, but it can't hurt to ask, I imagine.

Awesome! Requests are totally welcome, but I promise only what is in the description or otherwise stipulated personally. PMed.
6836  Economy / Goods / Re: Kekistan Embroidered Flag Velcro Patch - 8.5x5cm - Shadilay $5 on: August 31, 2018, 09:32:12 PM
The $5 price point, is that including shipping around USA or is shipping additional? I want to order one just for the laugh-factor, but I would hate to pay more for shipping than I do for the product; just a personal pet-peeve of mine. Are you able to slip these into a regular envelope or how much is the cost of shipping?

Alternatively, I could always hold off until I buy another mystery box from you and we could stuff it into there in order to save on shipping costs.

$5 includes shipping to the US. If you order another mystery box I will just throw one in for free.

Everyone seems to be enjoying the mystery boxes, so I decided to just create a thread with most everything consolidated together, and of course add a few more mystery box options to make many happy good fun time face smiles. The prices listed are the base prices, most items I have enough variety to fulfill multiple units per buyer. PM me to be sure. Litecoin also accepted.

All Prices include shipping to the US. For international customers PM me for actual shipping cost. Keep checking back for updates! As with all of my mystery boxes, you will get AT LEAST as much as you pay for, and some people will get extra special surprises! LET THE MYSTERY BEGIN!

CLASSIC FAMILY FRIENDLY MYSTERY BOX: $25 or

Of course the list would not be complete without the good old classic mystery box I have always offered! Look at all those satisfied customers!

BEANIE BOX OF MYSTERY BABIES: $25 or

Beanie Babies. That's right I said it. The ones from the 90's by TY. Mostly original vintage. Some with tags some without, generally good condition. Feel free to make requests but I make no promises... other than you will get at least $25 worth of Beanie Babies.

COLLECTABLE COIN TREASURE MYSTERY BOX: $25 or

This box will include various collectable coins. They may be world coins, error coins, numismatic coins, and every box will include at least SOME silver. Would make a great gift or starter collection.

VINTAGE STAMP MYSTERY BOX: $25 or

This box will include various unused US postage of varying amounts, conditions, and sheet sizes. All are unused, most are in great shape. Mostly from 1960-1980 era, some are as old as the 1930s.

DVD MOVIE MADNESS MYSTERY BOX: $20 or

This box is pretty straight forward. I will pick you out some awesome DVDs, usually movies. They could be in new or used condition, but they will all be in excellent condition and contain films that are not a waste of time to watch. No bootlegs.

VINYL RECORDS MYSTERY BOX: $20 or

MYSTERY POTATO: $20 or

Moshi moshi. Potato desu! I will ship you or your friends a mystery potato with a short note. Will it be Russet? Yukon Gold? Russian Banana? French Fingerling? It is a mystery! Please keep in mind the note must be short enough to fit on a potato. USA only.

"DARK WEB" MYSTERY BOX: $100 or

This mystery box is different from all the others. This one is a personally crafted box of really creepy, scary, possibly criminal looking, but 100% legal items. Nothing dangerous or illegal will be included. The idea being I create a super creepy box full of stuff (that has no particular value BTW) that you can open with friends and tell them you ordered it off of the "deep web" and creep them out. Might be offensive, be warned. Also I absolutely refuse to ship this box to anyone other than the person ordering it. If you do order this box and direct it to a 3rd party I WILL negatively rate you here as well as potentially take other actions. Don't ruin a funny joke by being an asshole. You must be at least 21 to order this box.

PM me any questions. Thanks for your interest!

How would this even get safely shipped? I assume a double or triple box and tons of foam and what not. I would be so scared to ship this. I would definetly get the shipping insurance on this piece

I would bring it to a place like a UPS or FEDEX shipping place and let them deal with it. That way if there are any issues they will cover it. If I was them I would build a small wood frame for it. I suppose a mummy wrap in bobble wrap along with stretch wrap, then an outer cardboard cover would work ok but, I wouldn't risk it. I will leave it up to the buyer what they want to pay for.

I wouldn't let a 16 year old punk working part time for minmium wage to pack this.

I didn't even know UPS had a service like this.

Thank you for the info !

For one they are usually adults, second if they pack it they can't claim YOU didn't pack it right if you claim insurance. You say oh but I paid YOU to do that, I guess your service failed now pay me.
