Looks great, I am going to give it a try.

6862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is New York Going too far? on: August 13, 2013, 03:10:39 PM
There's nothing wrong with a city operating on it's own and regulating itself as far as I'm concerned, the Greeks did this and a lot more recently Hong Kong was once operating independently of China as far as I'm aware and was almost it's own city state, I think it's had to give up some of it's powers to China though lately.
6863  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WTF is wrong with America? on: August 13, 2013, 02:36:43 PM
What terrorist group does the US sponsor?

The Republican Party Cheesy

. FBI

. NSA

. CIA

. IRS

. Airport Security

By the way, government intelligence agencies are essentially legalised terrorist organisations and if you really believe they aren't after all the leaks lately you've got to get help.
6864  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS - Frontier Space Manga, Cabochon Necklaces - 1 Necklace now in stock on: August 13, 2013, 02:33:39 PM
adflkadf kakdfd, sorry for the lack of updates lately guys, had to go and find AA batteries etc. for the camera but now everythings back to normal and I can keep posting my pieces up or in this case a gemstone in pieces Sad I came back after a lesson today and because I was tired and not paying attention to what I was doing I managed to drop the rectangular malachite causing it to chip, thankfully I think it isn't a big deal and I can still set it but I would never knowingly sell a damaged or chipped gemstone if I can help it to anyone, the same thing happened to two rose quartz. I'm going to have to be extra paranoid whenever I take out gemstones and handle them, this was an infuriating cock up.

chipped gemstone in question Sad :

It looks mostly ( >_< ) fine from the top though thankfully so it can still be used as an example of what I can do:

On brighter news though me and my teacher have almost finished getting the gemstone setting done and ready, we just need to put on a jump ring and file everything down etc.

Going to be posting more stuff and I will be increasing my stock.

That's the problem I have, I'm slowly amassing Jewellery pieces but I need to go out and find people who are interested in buying them now Cheesy
6866  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tractor Beams Now Possible on: August 13, 2013, 08:06:50 AM
Remember, if aliens try to pull you out of window with this light beam, try to turn sideways!

Won't work with Americans, they are bigger sideways

Zing! Tongue

That immediately reminded me of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oH1Oj2FYVw

That's cool, I was talking with my teacher about maybe trying out wax casting at some point for fun, I think I prefer doing things by hand though myself.
6868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is New York Going too far? on: August 13, 2013, 02:43:36 AM
The ironic thing is that in regards to Bitcoin even the people who deal in it won't be able to tell the companies who they're dealing with because of the way Bitcoin works the only information they could give was on people who dealt in paper money which would only make people use Bitcoin more.
6869  Economy / Economics / Re: Accept Bitcoins only? on: August 12, 2013, 11:54:16 AM
Normally I would say it's not a good idea to alienate customers based on their currency preference, that it would be awesome to just add Bitcoin as an extra so people can pay anonymously, but the problem is governments are going to get so desperate soon I predict it will soon be impossible to do business in conventional currencies if you are at all associated with Bitcoin because of the ridiculous laws they're going to introduce. I think anyone trying to set up a Bitcoin business needs to have a look at the history of wealth transfer and capital flight to have a proper understanding of what they're getting into when it comes to using Bitcoin.

Pretty soon it's going to be a question of them or us the more governments realise that they can't control Bitcoin at all.
6870  Economy / Economics / Re: Thou shalt have no other gods before me on: August 12, 2013, 11:51:33 AM
That's because Bitcoins don't have to comply with any state's money-transmission laws the stupid cunts.
6871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here come the MLM scams on: August 11, 2013, 09:56:41 PM
Are these MLM things you guys are talking about the kind of thing I experienced when I tried job hunting the typical way? If I'm right they're essentially these weird and phony looking marketing companies that aren't necessarily outright scams but certainly they don't operate legitimately. One of them called me back after I applied randomly so I decided to do a background check on them and discovered all kind of shit and more recently I heard a news item on the radio about how they were taking advantage of people like me basically and trying to convince them they were doing legitimate work and were going to get paid.

I guess if I had to describe them properly it wouldn't be a scam I guess you could say the real way it works is like affiliate marketing, the problem is this is clearly that unpopular and everything they're forced to lie about it in order to sucker people in so they claim you can earn cash etc. etc. and in reality what you're doing is door to door sales etc. and trying to convince people to buy whatever product the marketing company has been assigned to sell. The difference between these guys and affiliate marketing is that they're running around outright lying to people about who they are and I'm not entirely sure why they do it really lol, probably because more honest affiliate marketing is all over the place right now.

How can you say no to grumpy looking cats?! They're hilarious! Cheesy
6873  Other / Off-topic / Re: Somebody close to Josh just spilled the beans about BFL! on: August 11, 2013, 07:21:35 PM
Sorry what? I was too busy laughing at the video to care about your opinion Cheesy
6874  Other / Off-topic / Re: New form of transportation to be announced: LA to SanFran in 30min! on: August 11, 2013, 03:03:49 PM
I hope they've taken into account that most people might not be able to take the strain of travelling at such speeds and that solar power doesn't work at night, sounds like another bullshit advertisement campaign done by newspapers like Virgin's 'space plane' which doesn't actually go into space but exits the atmosphere for a few seconds before going down again, don't believe anything of what these people say until they have fully working prototypes and not just stupid 3D or 2D animation mock ups.

I know I sound very negative, but people like this really do make a mockery of science >_< particularly because when they finally make the real deal no one's going to believe the people who did actually figured it out.
6875  Other / Meta / Re: Sad on: August 11, 2013, 11:28:46 AM
No one forces you to look at the alt currency forum and you have every option of ignoring users who unnecessarily spam I've never understood this incessant need people seem to have of having other peoples conversations monitored and controlled, this must be how PRISM came about.
6876  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: dont gamble at dice games on: August 11, 2013, 11:18:13 AM
indeed, you can only lose. however, I see some people actually make profit on http://just-dice.com

And that's how they get you Tongue making you think you have a chance of winning by showing off other peoples winnings without pointing out the odds to you. I admit, I've put in a fraction of a Bitcoin or two onto Bitmillions but that's about it, I know when to quit, gamblings okay if you do it for fun but if you genuinely believe you're going to make money off it you're fucked.
6877  Economy / Economics / Re: The very sad truth about Bitcoin : It might die to gambling on: August 11, 2013, 11:11:16 AM
Rest assured there are people who are working very noisily in the background on stuff that has nothing to do with drugs, gambling or mining hardware, you just have to look around a bit more Cheesy.
6878  Other / Politics & Society / Re: government opening my packages? on: August 10, 2013, 09:26:49 PM
Did you call Amagi first and ask them about it before jumping to these conclusions? LOL Cheesy

Granted, even I'm paranoid these days because let's face it, at best in our governments eyes we're practising Anarchists building our own communities. At worse we're financial terrorists usurping their perspective currencies. Just because of that though I wouldn't let that kind of thing worry you, if they're a fairly small company then they might be just re-using old packaging to save money or they made a mistake with your order etc. etc. any number of things could have happened in transit or during packing.

It's sad to admit but with the current level of competency I've seen from a lot of Bitcoin companies lately it's safer to assume someone botched your packaging somehow, if it looked like it had fell through the packaging someone might have had to patch it up on the move.
6879  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: forum is frustrating on: August 10, 2013, 11:04:51 AM
Sometimes I get errors as well, I think it only really happens if there are problems or they're changing things in the background though, what I do is I copy and paste if I get the slightest feeling something might go wrong Tongue especially if I'm doing a long post.
