Hello Everyone,
If you're running a larger than normal wallet and set "Amount to anonymize" to a really high amount, the client will prioritize money that has not been denominated, in effect denominating the entire amount ONCE (this could look like the round > 1 bug, but it's not). No input will reach 2 rounds before that amount is met. When the client detects you've reached the threshold you set, it will then start denominating round 2, then 3, etc.
From the looks of the thread all issues users are experiencing are not bugs at this point, just a misunderstanding of how Darksend works. All major bugs have been resolved and I'm going to move on to RC5 and other unique features of Darkcoin that we've had in the works for awhile (I'm going to wait till all of the weak hands have left the building then I have some really cool stuff to announce).

conclusion : when running larger than normal wallets (assuming Evan means any wallet above 1K drk ? or maybe higher then 800 drk ?) set your "Amount to anonymize" lower then yr total balance so it can reach the amount to anonymize and then start more rounds. |

switched from 1 denom to 2... it took fee 0.00125 and DONE... my 34 coins are anonymized with 2 darksend rounds cool  finaly some good words good to hear |

so why the hell that fee is not DEFAULT 0.001 ??
nobody told us to put 0.001 fee if we wanna everything work perfectly
guys... u must understand there is people here that are not compatible like some of you... you need to tell us those things if you wanna new guys step in !!!!!!!
most use coin control to see what exactly is needed for transaction fees per transaction but with Darksend sending out automatic transactions it needs to be set manually if its not at 0.001 didnt Evan mention this as well ? that if those transaction fees are not set in the wallet its up to some very friendly miners to get them through ? Why manually ? wallet do that automatically. And 0.001 is not enough. Looks like Darksend tx is at least over 1kB. Fee is another way to trace transaction. So Evan set it to 0.0125. see my previous post which refers to Evan post and his remark about transaction fees... thats why i got the idea that it needed to be set manually on 0.001 drk in the wallet. If the fees are indeed all automatic and the Darksend Denominate transactions have their own set of fees then i apologize for commenting on the transaction fees and you all can ignore my previous posts about it. |

why the hell he didnt put DEFAULT 0.001 so that we dont do that?
im disapointed in those little things... we are not GURU's to know everything EVAN

edit: COIN CONTROL? what the hell is that, i just found about it 3 days ago... so you must understand that i dont NEED to go advanced ... if i want to send my coins...
for me i dont need coin controll... i assume its sending automaticly and not other way

This is a total clusterfuck and so far I get blank stares or told I'm lying.
It just keeps NOT doing 8 rounds, doing 1 instead, then starting over and charing me fees again... Eventually, the wallet will be empty from fees.
I had the exact same issue I kept getting hit with denominate fees. Upon installing .31 it stopped. I'm using .31 I think it's because everyone who is having no problems has less than 900DRK in their wallet. Mine is broken up and denomed only 900 at a time, and it never does the 8 like it's set to do. It does 1. Then starts all over again.... Sorry, but you are not giving out the details we need to troubleshoot. Can you please post a screenshot of your: * transaction tab * inputs tab(using list view) * your main tab showing anonymized / non anonymized. * Link to the Pastebin of your debug.log * Your options window Make sure you blur out any addresses / info you dont want us to see though. I posted it in IRC and sent it to evan. PMed it to some people... Told me it's shopped, lols. Yeah, I'm totally making this shit up...     These are a little old now, but they reflect the issue. Look up the incoming TX on chainz... It looks like it's been denomed, but my client just isn't interpreting it correctly...... you put yr wallet to not pay any transaction fees ? it needs to be set to 0.001 drk or miners will low prio yr transactions (including yr Darksend related transactions) !!! |

If your client seems to be denominating too many times (more than your setting), try restarting the client. I've been denominating and noticed it's caching the rounds, after a restart they calculate correct. I'll be pushing a fix sometime soon, but that's a way to get around the issue.

Hi Invested in drk last few weeks since rc4 was coming. But I dont understand why price is declining so much now its out and working, sure with some minor bugs but we can all see its going to work. So how is it possible that it has been dumped so bad? .. Still a believer though - some big whales were dumping a lot of altcoin lately (including Darkcoin) so this could be unrelated to RC4 - a big whale got nervous when price didnt rise as he/she foresaw and dumped premature - the whole world is conspiring against Darkcoin |

We need lots more people online with D+ wallets, thats the only thing! We only need D+ liquidity on mainnet for the tx to match and start doing rounds. In testnet we did heaps loads of D* ping-pong'ing without incidents. And with ricdiculous amounts of tDRKS. Mainet is a different bag of cats, like pseudo-ex-converted-trolls trying a bit more sophisticates toruble making. This is a SOLID release! Just needs adoption. Already contributing mixing some of mine, result soon to come. I put up 36 DRKs on 4 round. Better than 1500DRK doing 1 round. right now. How many of you have wallets denoming out there? +1 really well said! Not that solid, i have 0 denoms! Debug just says no funds need denom? just wait untill a lot more of us are updated to .30 ***** Just needs adoption. ****** |

I downloaded the latest version. I seem to be having an issue with denominate.
I've been hit with 6 denominate fees for -0.0125 in the space of 10 minutes. My balance keeps ping ponging between unconfirmed and available balance. Any idea what's going on ?
I'm running set at 2 rounds.
check yr inputs.. what rounds are they? Rounds? I have it set to 2 rounds. The count on the denominate charges is now up to 8, I keep getting hit with them and my coins still aren't anonymized. the inputs in yr send button.. pls check whats going on there.. (assuming you activated coin control ...) |
