I think you might have missed to place 1 or 2 before placing 3k. 2019 will be a better year and infact the 2018 might be also better than its present situation as December is still left and things might change for better in Dec for 2018. With that start 2019 might also move upwards and ends with 5 digit mark and not reaching 3k levels.

It is a roller coaster ride and it is due to its volatility that it keeps moving up and down. So nothing much to worry and also it has started to recover well so all eyes on 5k levels first.  So this subject line which OP mentioned is now not much relevant as it is not going to fall more now from here it seems.

We do not have any reason not to believe in crypto currency because for those who think it is bubble and so it has fallen in value are wrong as every year price dips and then rises and it is the fact that it exists from past 10 years and not just 1-2 years. It is true that for individual cases everyone has different financial consideration and their problems. I think majorly all the top 50 altcoins will starts to rise quickly and once we have btc start its upward movement all the altcoins as usually will follow it. In this some altcoins could rise 30 - 40% in a day as well if btc rise decently like 1k in a day. Start buying now if you had sold all position before and odes not own anything now.

The fork just happened at the wrong time of the year and people who had planned that they could make some money and have the vacations went for the toss as market has fallen from 5k to below 4k and this is not a good sign.
