I think it is the best way to deal with these price jumps. Of course they can not accept unlimited orders when the price is skyrocketing, it would not take long until they are ruined. So this is a good solution to keep existing orders open and just not to allow new orders being created when there is the risk that they can not afford to pay you.
This is, in my opinion, much more serious than having DoS Attacks or something like that during those moments when a price explodes..

Since more than one month has passed now: No update - no payment - requests are being ignored.
As of right now I would suggest to keep your BTC away from Cryptsy, their support seems to be non-existent.

Es ist aber scheinbar Fakt, dass er seine Shopbestände nicht im Griff hat. Ob dies aus Absicht geschieht sei dahingestellt. Für Kunden ist es blöd, wenn diese die Wahl zwischen Shop A und B haben, sich festlegen und bestellen und dann keine Ware erhalten. Bis der Shopbetreiber dies mitteilt ist das Produkt auch in Shop B ausverkauft und der Kunde ist derjenige mit dem Schaden. Und nicht alle Kunden haben Lust diesen Schaden einzuklagen...und ich habe manchmal das Gefühl, dass bewusst mit diesem Umstand spekuliert wird.
Fakt ist: Ich kann nur das verkaufen, was ich auf Lager habe, in Ausnahmefällen auch bereits das, was bereits beim Lieferanten geordert wurde. Der Threadtitel scheint hier passend gewählt.

Yup. Learning from US companies, charge more for less product. Guess it's time to seriously look into the new avalons. Keep in mind that the B6 price is set in BTC (B1-B5 were set in USD). So the BTC price the moment you buy it determines the USD price. |

Mal ernsthaft, was sollte Truman hier auch schreiben. Wenn es Neuigkeiten gäbe würde er es sicherlich, ansonsten würde sein Post ohnehin zerpflückt werden.
Und das mit dem Kaufprozess ist prinzipiell nicht ungewöhnlich. Ich versende Waren i.d.R. auch erst nach Zahlungseingang um mich mit dem Inkassothema nicht auseinandersetzen zu müssen (meine Kunden erhalten die Waren zum zugesagten Zeitpunkt). Prinzipiell kann man da YM nichts vorwerfen, da eine Auslieferung für Januar avisiert ist.
Ich bin auch skeptisch was da läuft und würde eher von einem Kauf abraten, aber noch kann man hier nicht von Betrug sprechen oder dem Unternehmen etwas vorwerfen.

Du hast die Miner doch bei Protact gekauft und dort stehen, wenn ich richtig gelesen hatte.
Daniel bietet doch an, jeweils die neueste Firmware aufzuspielen.
Würde ich Ihn besser fragen und es auch Ihn aufspielen lassen.
Man kann, wenn man nicht genau weiß was man tut auch den Miner beim Flashen töten.
So wäre es ja im Rahmen Deiner Gewährleistung von Ihm ausgeführt.
Das ist natürlich noch sinnvoller. Zumal es ja je nach "Taktung" auch 3 verschiedene Firmwareversionen (550/575/600) gibt. Soweit ich mich entsinne befindet sich auf den Blades ein kleiner Aufkleber, welcher hierüber Aufschluss gibt. |

Auf jeden Fall das ganze File so hochladen, wie Du es heruntergeladen hast (nicht entpacken).
Ob es etwas bringt kann ich gerade nicht sagen, da ich selbst keinen laufen habe.

The only thing that is constant is the price of power and the price of the S7 in USD. If the price of btc goes to $1,000, the S7 will cost 1.7 btc. You will need to mine 1.7 btc to achieve ROI. It is quite clear that there is manipulation going on. The price is climbing too fast and that is not good at all. There is no rational reason why the price has almost doubled within 2 weeks. In my opinion it is only a question WHEN the bubble will explode and not IF it does. I would appreciate a much slower, but steady BTC price increase... In November of 2013 the price went up 10x in 6 weeks... Yes, and we all know how it ended, right? Just be careful and reconsider your invest. BTC price if fluctuating too much at the moment to calculate mining profits for the B4/B5 S7. But we can be quite sure that the diff will be somewhere higher than it is now. I am a fan of bitcoin since years and I would be happy if the price could stay at a higher level, it is only happening too fast right now (although this helps me earning some BTC on trading ;-) ) |

Meine Order vom 24.10. ist jedenfalls bereits unterwegs und wird voraussichtlich am Mittwoch eintreffen.
Warum dann Bestellungen von vor dem 12.10. (zumindest sind da meine Gutscheine abgelaufen) noch nicht ausgeliefert wurden ist mir fraglich.
Im Nachhinein hätte ich mit dem Verkauf der Miner mehr verdienen können, aber wenn ich Kunden einen Preis zusage, dann halte ich diesen auch.

Du hast die Möglichkeit über ein Adminitrationspanel bestimmte Ports (HTTP/SSH) für einzelne Miner temporär freizuschalten um dann direkt darauf zuzugreifen.

Ich finde es für mich zu teuer und der VPN Zugang ist nur temp. den ich aber immer benötige, zum Teil wechsle ich bei mehreren Minern, fast täglich den Pool...
Ich zahle heute für einen S7 ca. 1300 Watt 99 EUR incl. MwSt. Da ist sogar das Netzteil Leihweise dabei.
Wenn ich permanenten Zugriff hätte, nicht teurer als 99 EUR / Antminer S7 pro Monat wäre und sogar das Netzteil von euch leihweise bekäme (was ich nicht glaube) hätte ich immer noch die Versandgebühren...
Hätte ggf. zwei oder drei Antminer S7 .... Schade eigentlich....

Du solltest aber bedenken, dass dies hier eben nicht ProTact ist...und das ist vielen bereits einen kleinen Aufpreis wert (mir auf jeden Fall). Permanenter Zugriff geht hier doch, soweit ich informiert bin, oder? Zumindest konnte ich jederzeit auf meinen Miner zugreifen. |

are there any adapters/boards available which can power a KNC Titan (4-8x PCIe, 1600W + 1x5v Molex for Controller)?
Most boards "only" have connectors for PCIe, but I wouldn't like an extra PSU for the Controllerboard. Any suggestions?
