I was shocked about what happened last friday from 770 down into 715 in an bour.
I thought it was the end of the rising of.bitcoin ,but im wrong hours later when btc is 716 it climbed up again.
But i think this coming monday it will be another rising .
Price will keep on moving up and down till the halving, the best time for selling bitcoin would be 1 or 2 days before the halving when price will be on top. |

holding gold can bring you almost nothing and the rise in gold can be small or even go down but when you buy and hold bitcoin especially if you buy bitcoin when it was very low then you could have 4 - 5 times return for your investment.
The profit would differ between 30 to 40 percentage. Indeed both are sailing on the same boat towards a reasonable profit. One of the business secrets would be, seeking for areas where a reasonable profit can be found. I would still love investing in Gold as would do with BTC. Both are good as an investment, the only reason gold is popular and people are willing to invest in it because it holds physical form and people have more faith in a thing that they can hold physically. |

According to Mike Hearn's blog, he said the Bitcoin is failing and dying so he sold all his Bitcoin. Is it really true or it is just his marketing strategy?
ofc not, bitcoin is not dying, it's going bigger and better now these days. And bitcoin is very succesfull right now, and i don't think that it's dying. Maybe other altcoins will die, but bitcoin will not. Yeah and looking at the present growth of bitcoin I don't think its dying in fact its getting better and better as time progresses and we can expect much bigger bitcoin in future. |

Yes this is basic method to earn Bitcoin but you are Newbie so you will not get chance in all signature campaign. There are some signature for you i think 2 or 3 is there try there and earn Bitcoin. Or buy Bitcoin for low price and do trading here also you can make Bitcoins but it is very risky method but you don't have other choice. My best idea is to start your BTC earnings by joining signature campaign,since its a major and most of the people here are earning some enough amount of bitcoins from it and you don't need any special knowledge needed here. It would be awesome if it breaks the all time high price which is the $1200, for sure most holders will sell their coins to make the highest profit. I see btc a more progressive for the future, after halving exactly. I'm planning to sell my coins before the day of block halving.
This is the correct time to earn more BTC with more profit. Really all the wallets are going to be piled up on or before halving. Really waiting for the good moments to come. Really happy to see the price hike. Price will go even higher as we reach near to the halving stage, as people are buying bitcoins now and that is the reason price is moving up, it would be good to hold till the halving. |

Well, I started out my bitcoin career mining on my laptop. Obviously I didn't find any blocks but it was a great introduction and I think everyone should start with bitcoin by mining.
Or, you could tell them to read wikipedia. Which is boring af.
Practical knowledge can be more helpful in compare to theoretical knowledge, they read for sometime and will continue with it, its better to ask them to sit beside you and see how things works. |

i hope 1 week before halving .
it is already $774 today and it took a very short time to get here. the rise from $550 to this stage was super short so from now on the rise to top is also getting shorter with very small resistance. i say in 1 month we will go past 1000 and in another month over 2000 Yeah 1000 price is easy to achieve now as price is going up too fast and now we can expect very high price at the time of halving. |

At the rate we're rising, 800 is certainly possible. I believe we'll be over 800 by the end of this Sunday. 900-1000 is possible before the halving in July. I don't see it going over 1000 and staying over 1000. There're many many people chomping at the bit to sell at 1000, a huge wave of sellers will crash the price.
Yeah and majority of people are holding their coins to sell when price reaches to $1k and if it reaches there soon everyone will be busy in selling their coins to earn profits. |

Both is better first you need is to invest your money but you will invest what you can afford to lose then all the profit will gain of your investment you'll need to save it or you reroll it for much better income in your investment.
To be honest if you want to invest your money the basic step is to save your money first, if you have good capital then only you would be able to invest in future, so both of them are really important. |

No right now its not so good to buy some bitcoins, the price is high and if you are buying right now the profit will be minimal or you will even lose money if it will lower on a short term.
I think at present We can buy bitcoin i have noticed in many trading sites, They offer to us more than the market value while we selling bitcoins. So better try to buy bitcoins or atleast hold some bitcoins which you are earning from your signature campaign or from your skilled works. If you feel that price will be higher at the time of halving then you can buy with current price, and if you are confused then I think you should hold your existing coins. |

It's hard to tell what will happen because it depends a lot on human emotion. Panic selling or panic buying can drive the price either way. I'm surprised at how high it has gotten at this point.
Price will not to back now, it will keep on moving up till we reach to the halving stage, so if you can afford to buy go for it and if not then hold the coins that you have. |

You have to aim for 21 BTC and hold then losing term, it's as easy as that. Ok not that easy to get 21 BTC, but still not mission impossible, with hard work and dedication it can be done, unless the price keeps rising this fast, then it will be impossible for anyone that is not upper class.
But 21 BTC is a big money. I mean even if Bitcoin will stop rising at $700 it's $15,000, the amount which is impossible to make in 1 year in most countries. Yes, right, that's if you not from the upper class of course. Its not easy for everyone to hold 21 btc in their wallet, unless if you have a huge capital to buy it, earning 21 btc from various ways will really take a long time. If you cannot buy 21 bitcoin, just buy 2.1 and then hold for the long term. I think you will be rewarded greatly. Its not important to hold 21 btc, but you should try to make efforts to collect as many coins possible, as the value will be really high in future. You are right about that but its not easy at all for sure because of that, I hope the bitcoin is gonna rise a lot this year. The most important thing right now is gaining bitcoins! Exactly, this is the best time to collect as many coins as possible as price gonna high very soon so we can sell some of coins and book some profits at the time of halving. |

once I read the thread title, I remembered what happen when that developer announced that bitcoin is dead and the price went down for more than $100 in two days or more just because the panic selling he cause. I wonder if he still on his opinion or he realized he was wrong
Of course he was wrong and his statement didn't make any difference to the true believers of bitcoin as they continued to invest their money in bitcoin and now we all are seeing the outcome. |

Are you kidding me?It's difficult to get rich with bitcoin for free, You can fund to get rich with bitcoin play gambling and trading you will get a lot of bitcoin if you luck. Well I think its possible with free methods but it will be a very long journey, if you do sig campaigns and than make one bitcoin and start trading or hold it for a while to make profit you can come pretty far step by step of course. If you save all your earnings from signature campaign then you may become rich with that in future if price skyrockets, but its always better to earn it from various ways. |

it is possible to earn a living with bitcoin, you can either switch your salary to bitcoin by receiving it that way or you can do something to get paid or earn bitcoin.
for example if you are a good trader you can make trades wisely and earn a lot of money this way.
Trading can surely take care of you if you know how to handle it smartly, no doubt initial investment is required for trading but that is not a big deal if you really want to earn a living from it. |

I began my career in the bictoin . In 2010 the bitcoin was worth 0.01 euro , now a bitcoin worth 400 euros. I ask myself a question: what will be its value in 2020 ?. A friend told me that its value will be 10,000 euros.  Sorry for the spelling for I am french .  Thank you for your replies  i think that even if there aren't many chances for price to rise 10 times to 10000$ in just 4 years, this still can happen because of halving in this year and 2020 year so it is possible but i actually think that price will be around 2000$and not more then as if there are price rises there also will be price dumps so price will rise a little bit and then fall down I think we can expect price above $2k by that time as it is predicted that this price will be achieved by next year so price would be much higher in next 4 years. |

This is why I have liquidated my position in Bitcoins. There is very little upside going forward. Block size limit is too low. No forward moves of late have any traction whatsoever and demand continues to lag. Way too little upside for such a risky proposition so my advice is to move into dollars. Only a significant change in the economy could alter this forecast.
it is pretty funny to see this thread while price a this moment is not 400$ or even 500$, price at this moment is 750$ and still rising, soon price will be 800$ i am sure 2 months ago i thought same that price won't go above 500$ not matter anything, even halving, but now i see that i was wrong when price is so large and still rising up Yeah even till last month no one expected that price will go high like this, as it was stuck at $450 for a long time, but now we are sure that price will touch $1k at halving. |

We cannot predict what will happen to bitcoin in year but let's just say that the price continue to rise, then dump pretty hard, then rise again. If it rise again I think it's value will be above 700-1000$. Just my prediction but it can also be below that.  That's right, we can predict what will happen in the future or speculate. What we really don't know what is the exact thing that will going to happen. All speculations might happen, and with your price speculated it might happen to $1000. For sure, all of bitcoin users will be happy if that price reach to that price. 1 BTC is a good amount to risk and make an experiment in the future, who know what will be the exact amount after a year or decade, if this continue to skyrocket there is a slim possibility that 1 BTC can buy you a house in the future. Everyone have believe on bitcoin and everyone has a good amount of bitcoin (not only one) in their wallets, and everyone know that within this year we will get a good profit when the rice of bitcoin increase. Price is moving up on daily basis now which is really good to see, but the only thing we don't want that it should not fall back extremely after the halving, that will disappoint majority of us. Even if price falls after halving then it will give us an opportunity to buy some more coins as the price will rise again at the end of the year. |

Saving is not smart these days, investing is.
Invest and grow them as saving will only lead to 'loss', loss of what you could have earned if you could have invested.
If you are smart enough then you will invest your money in bitcoin as looking at the present price rise I have a strong feeling that it will be much higher in future. |
