But to capture one of the large market, BTC can't miss USA. Wire Transfer from EU or even HK will cost US users $50 per transfer + whatever the buy price loss and less than 1% service fee.
Seems like EU is covered as Bitstamp has office in UK and seems to be okay with their GOV, Chinese are almost okay but something funny going on in HK Gov. MtGox got Japan and at least they are doing okay with the Japanese Regulators and some of the EU Regulators as MtGox provide "Know your Customer" or BSA things to the US IRS, so many people

Sign up at Bitstamp. It should take just a few days to confirm your identity and have a legit account.
If you want to buy BTC and keep it secret, then you need to buy it in person or online with a bit higher exchange rate

Bitpay is in USA Market Bitstamp is I thought headed to USA as well
Sad part is Mt Gox lost the US Market. Now they are in the legal problems in USA and the court case is against them. US Gov seized their US Bank Accounts.
US Market is a tough one to get into. So many financial regulations and it will cost at least $2,000,000 to register as the Financial Service Company + regulatory filing cost with USA Hourly Lawyer fees that would be another $250,000 USD + a few financial professionals to hammer out the compliance things + a publicly accessible offices.
It seems to be at least $5,000,000 USD just to get into the market with 6-12 month waiting period.

The same pictures are popping up for Ebay sales and Craigslist sale for the KnC Jupiters!
If it's the same guy, he got smart and bumped the price up
Someone greedy guy will fall for this soon or later

Go to Ebay.com you should be able to buy 60GH/S machine
you are not going to make any money from it. You are better off donating the $1600 you have to the charity...
If you are in Japan, contact me via PM, I might be able to help you get one

Deposit shouldn't take as long as their withdraw. Withdraw seems to take almost a month for accounts outside Japan. Deposit to Tokyo Miitsubishi bank account took only a few days. I wish I could open an account in Portugal, that is another fast withdraw place from MtGox.
I think Monday was their holiday in Japan, so give them another day or two and it should show up on your account
everyone is so focused on MtGox rate but that is not realistic when dealing with many of the merchants who takes bitcoin for the payment. Bitpay was using the MtGox but switched to Bitstamp recently.
sorry to hear that, you could have doubled your investment at MtGox
Right now if you are not local to UK or Tokyo and some in California, USA, it might be better off buy BTC in person locally. Meetup or Online

Problem is initial BTC deposit seems to be seen as cashing out pure profit from highly suspected unlawful activities.
They knew about mining, so initial deposit/cashing out whatever, is seen as pure profit. there after profit is calculated from buy/sell differences but anytime you add additional BTC from mining to cashout, those are seen as another pure 100% Profit. (Unless you can show it was goods sales then, you can use B2B invoice showing you spent whatever as the source cost for that BTC)
When I asked my tax advisers, they explained to me as American has to report illegal drug trade profit on their tax return and more than likely the BitCoin trade profit be seen as such. The 1st cashout option as 100% Profit, any subsequent transactions are calculated as regular short security trade gain (minus the buy price) so just what you profited.
But that is just the advise from 1 US CPA Firm, I'm sure there are many interpretations but that would be up to the IRS later when you have them on our door step one day...
US Department of Justice has Published Opinion stating BITCOIN is used in the unlawful activities with some legit transaction use. You can Google it and you'll find the actual wording on their website and PDFs
Sadly, Mt Gox and BitStamp do report to IRS for the gains like trading stocks, free lunch is over. (Remember the Paypal started to do that last year???)

Gox took 5 weeks in 1 transaction to EU and another transaction was 16 days. US Deposit was denied 2 weeks ago.
Gox's US Bank account was seized by the US Government this summer for violating some kind of the financial regulation there...
With current legal battles Mt Gox is facing in the US Federal Court, they are now required to report all US Based Transactions to US Goernment (IRS) and Bitcoin transactions will be treated as Gains from Short Security Trade. (I would say get it out as BTC if you have accounts in EU, send it there)
Federal Court Judges, Texas and other locations, ruled BitCoin Trade is Taxable under Security Exchange Tax Rate.
Change it to BTC, then deposit it to BitStamp, then wait for about 5 days to be deposited into the US Bank Account via Wire. $50 Wire fee
Example:
If you have $1000 at Mt Gox, that would be about 2.73 BTC ==> to BitStamp ==> change it to USD ($850 @ Sell Price) ==> cost you $50 in wire transfer ==> $$800 in your pocket in about 7-10 days later ==> About $200 in IRS Tax Obligation as Bitstamp is also require to report to US Gov for the US Based Transactions
So, $800 in your pocket in about 10 days but you may owe $200 to Uncle Sam on April 15, 2014
Reality, you got $600 in USD starting $1,000 USD GOX Account to your hand.
In Reality, it's about 20% Value Loss in short term, so $800 in your hand. Another 20% Loss (IRS Tax) is something you decide what to do with the risk. May or May not get taxed later. (There is a bill/law in the work right now in the US and we should hear something later this month if it pass or not)

my guess...
Wait for a few more weeks
many pissed off owners of the pre-ordered miners and second hand owners of the miners from Ebay will be selling for whatever they can get once they realized they just lost their life saving while they thought they could be a millionaire in a year.
Right now, many of them are hitting ebay but lots of suckers are falling for over valued price. (Paying more than what they can mine in BTC)
Once Ebay and Paypal get hit with complaints from the customers for the refund/charge back and many blog posts and scam related forums, demands may go down and the price of the machines may self adjust in the market

Refund would be nice, but it has to be more realistic price.
Another Ebay Item closed for just over $1,000 for the BFL's 30GH/S miner (In-Stock Item)
I can just hear the EXPRESS TRAIN GOV911 coming
Now, there are so many pissed off people calling FTC and Local Senate's Office complaining about BFL and Bitcoin Mining money loss. I just hate to see the knee jerk reactions to restrict BTC
It's unlikely but if they do pass the bill by end of this month, it could be a major disasters in the US.
The news regarding BFL being Subpoena to hand over customer data, if that info was to be turned over to the government, there will be lots of people getting a visit from IRS CID Agents for the criminal audit on their tax returns next year.

WILL DO 0.76
WE ARE PROVIDING OPTIONS TO BUY MP.
If you have a specific USD Amount, please let me know, we will have it for you.
Please Remember, the MP do cost about $5 per card to obtain + an effort at the store

Ebay is flooded with newly arrived miners from this Spring's pre-orders. If the miners were mining enough BTC for them, we won't see this many sellers trying to recover what they paid in for.
You may not be able to get Refund from BFL or other vendors but Ebay might be a place to get a full refund for the unsuspected buyers when they realized they just lost $1,000.
|
|
|
On Ebay, people are paying about $1,200 per unit + Shipping...
I can just see, the sellers will be hit by Charge Backs from the credit card payment. Some banks may honor the reversal for the payment from the Bank later when the buyer realized they just bought a fancy space heater
|
|
|
My offer is $400
but if anyone pays over $550 is out of their mind. I think the next difficulty clime is just around the corner. (8-14 days?) Once that hit the fan, 60GH/S is not going to mine even 1 BTC.

I really feel sorry for those who spent their entire saving to pre-order the miners hoping to make 5 figure income in a few months... Now the machines will produce some coins but not enough to pay off what they invested in.
More and more are listed on Ebay and sad part is, many people are falling for it with the ads saying it's a pre-orderred item in the top que and when they get the machine it will produce $100-$1000 a day depends on the ads
Poor guys..
If they are reasonable GH/S rate, I will give them some $$$ back for the machines they have no intentions of using but, so far, everyone want to sell them with premium price. I wander if those guys thought about charge backs and Paypal&Ebay disputes after the buyers actually realized, the sellers pulled the same scams on the new buyers?
The companies may have enough money to defend themselves from the crazy profits they made from non-refundable BTC payments, but the sellers who are unfaithfully selling the bad investment to unsuspected buyers can afford their own lawyer to defend themselves? The poor buyers on ebay or craigslist who spend their chunk of savings on the false advertisement thinking they can make $10,000 investment into $20,000 when the machine may return $1,000 - $3,000 with the current difficulties and for sure the increased difficulties in the very near future. Is it worth trashing your own decently rated ebay accounts to resell your loss?
but I guess that is the consequence of the capitalist free worlds! Strong eat weak to survive

Legit Transaction Confirmed!
Give me another 20 minutes or so, I'll go for another!

I see the protection, but when you wait for that 90 days, then getting 400% more hashing power at that time will not do much good either. The protection seems better than anyone else on the market, but I would say it would be a true protection if you get that hashing power at the time of the delayed shipping time.
What do you think? I might be wrong in math.

Can be available there but I need at least 2 coins for covering the intro to BTC, earn his trust so I can help him open the wallet, then, sell my BTC and then convince him to send the BTC he just purchased to you?
How many coins are you talking about? PM for details. I'd like to know the domain, too!
We can chop up the coins for each task...
Meet your buyer in person: 0.5 Intro to BTC: 0.25 Convince him to use BTC: 0.25 Create his new wallet: 0.25 (I'm assuming you want the secure one on the desktop & not the online wallet) Convince him to get BTC: 0.25 Have him send you the BTC: 0.25
I'm assuming the business casual attire on site.

Due to the sudden difficulties increase, if you recently received your pre-ordered mining machines, more than likely you know, the machine will not pay off. Depends on how you paid them and where you bought it from, the refund may not be an option.
Ebay posting may not be an option to some, if you were worried about either ebay or paypal account being suspended or closed out for openly selling the mining device.
Craigslist could be another avenues for some, but I will send you the pre-paid USPS shipping label appropriate for the unit's protection during the transit.
I will not pay for the retail as most of the machine will not generate enough BTC to pay off the original price, however, based on the GH/S rate and who the manufacture was, I will PM you with the offer. (Don't expect a lot of BTC or $$$ as I will run a few known mining calculate to come up with the value.)
Difficulties are due to go up again in another 10 days or so, DON'T WAIT too long, Liquidate your machines while you can.
