701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wall Street Journal Frontpage Ad - 5000 Bitcoins on: July 03, 2011, 12:18:44 AM
Guys, these current enthusiasts can't build garbage. Again, NO BUSINESS SENSE. Nobody wants to spend coins right now because of this. We need the enthusiasm and businesses to come at the same time.

We need to market Bitcoin to INNOVATORS.

The wave of entrepreneurs who were attracted to Bitcoin over the past month are just getting in gear.  It takes time to put together a business venture, even at light-speed Bitcoin time.  I suspect we'll see some awesome businesses emerge by summers end.

I do think that whoever is the first person to put together a well-done predictions market or casino using Bitcoin as its premier currency will eventually make a killing (and I'm not working on anything like that).  I bet a talented, dedicated team is hard at work on such a creature as we speak.

A wave of entrepreneurs have been attracted to Bitcoin in the last month?  And they are just now getting into gear?  Source?

I think there was a wave of investors but that's just what I think.  I'm not counting it as fact as there has been more sells than buys.  Notice the decline in price.  You can explain it away as much as you'd like but facts are facts and speculation is well...

But everyone keep speculating on speculation.  It gives me something to do as I watch my investment dwindle down to nothing.  Fact.

I have bought a few Russian domain names relating to bitcoin that with a little SEO receive 200 visitors a day to my site.  The .30 cents a day it makes me isn't enough to invest more of my money.  Sorry.  Unless there is a Russian coder that wants to partner with me.  PM me.

Otherwise keep speculating.

Just make sure TradeHill sends you guys packs of smokes so you can have a cigarette after you get fucked.

Considering I have a whole 33 dollars in TradeHill and you aren't giving any sources to verify what you say.  I guess I'll take my chances.

Now piss off.  Or you can disclose what you know with sources so we can verify.  If not, again, piss off.
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Serious situation with TradeHill imminent on: July 02, 2011, 11:32:37 PM
I'm not a Tradehill fan, by far.  But unless you disclose your source.  It's just FUD.

Sorry....

Guys, these current enthusiasts can't build garbage. Again, NO BUSINESS SENSE.

I fail to see the correlation between not being able to build/code websites/apps and business sense.  And being able to code doesn't necessarily mean you have business sense.

It takes a lot of capital to have someone else build or develop your projects.  Unless you get a coder that really believes in your ideas and is willing to work for profit/revenue sharing.

That isn't business sense.  That's lack of capital.

Question

Answer:
Just ask Jesus.

I like to picture Jesus as a figure skater. He wears like a white outfit, and He does interpretive ice dances of my life's journey.

@OP.

Still boring?
707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGox - God Dammit... on: June 28, 2011, 11:19:58 PM
ppl still using the GOX? you could always defect to the hill...................

How can you defect when they are holding your assets?  I can't do anything until I get my FUCKING COINS.
708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGox - God Dammit... on: June 28, 2011, 11:15:56 PM
getting ahold of MTGox would probably be a good start  Wink

Lol.  I've opened a support ticket 3 times to get the bitcoins I deposited right after the crash.  NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE.  They are sitting on my coins and not answering SHIT.

I'll give them one more day before I move my business elsewhere.

They have had enough time to figure this out.  They have had enough time to review my support ticket.  STILL NOTHING.

I am sick of their shit.
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goxed - 15:30 open on: June 27, 2011, 01:50:38 AM
Looks to me like someone is trying to instill confidence in the market for people to buy higher then a savy trader quickly put in a huge sell order and make some money.  Meanwhile the huge 16.00 bid gets pulled.

Edit:
Noticed the 1000 BTC at 16.75 was pulled.  Allowing it to go higher yet.
710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goxed - 15:30 open on: June 26, 2011, 08:39:59 PM
Hmmm.... think 14.01 may have been the price?  Cool

It's only been open for a couple hours.  Give it some time people.  Not everyone is sitting idly by their computers at all times.  Especially when MTGox isn't real reliable for their times.
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goxed - 15:30 open on: June 26, 2011, 08:34:24 PM
It's cool, making stuff up on internet forums is fun!

LOL.  You TH shills are pathetic.  Go play in the sandbox with the kids over in TH.

Here's hoping there will be shilling for a better exchange soon Smiley

Same here.

You can most certainly get USD on TradeHill.  In fact, at this second MtGox is offering 14.01 for sellers, TH is offering 14.21, so you'd have incentive not to trade on MtGox at all if you wanted to switch over to TH.

Blah, blah, blah...

Yeah, those 20 BTC walls will make you some fast cash.  Tradehill doesn't have the volume to make decent money.  SORRY!
714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goxed - 15:30 open on: June 26, 2011, 08:12:26 PM
For all the people who ask why not move to TH, this is why:
"vol":4265.74570611

TH current volume: 2322

Gox is limping here, and it's already ahead.

That said tho....really hoping we see another exchange that can rival these volumes.

a flood of volume on gox is to be expected in the first hours after they re-opened.   I believe a lot of people who had their bankrolls tied up in gox will be switching to TH in the coming days

You don't have to trade to move your bankroll.

No but you have to sell your BTC to make some cash.  And the only place you can do that is on MTGox.  Expect the price to drop a few more dollars before the rebound.  After a week of no trading.  I'm sure a few large holders are wanting some USD.  Something you can't do on Tradehill.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goxed - 15:30 open on: June 26, 2011, 08:01:04 PM
about to break $14

I'm guessing it'll drop to around 10.50 to rise back up to 12 by this evening.
716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goxed - 15:30 open on: June 26, 2011, 07:53:50 PM
I think all of your executed trades will be rolled back.  Trading is not officially open and it's obvious they are beta testing their new code.  Damn shame they are doing it on their production servers.

I just wish they'd POST A FIGGIN' UPDATE as to when things WILL OFFICIALLY OPEN so I don't miss the boat and I'm not here all friggen day pressing F-f*cking-5!!!!

Um, you are missing the boat right now.
717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goxed - 15:30 open on: June 26, 2011, 07:20:24 PM
All I know is if I were an early adopter and had tens of thousands of coins and a bunch of cash I'd be crashing a few markets right now to buy back up on the cheap.

Hell, it only takes 1000 BTC to drop Tradehill a few bucks.  I'd be trolling hard.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goxed - 15:30 open on: June 26, 2011, 07:15:27 PM
What the hell! I now owe them $4,500,000.00 in fees for selling 1 BTC!!!

ROFLOL... you have a hard working life ahead for pay those fees  Grin Grin

They fixed it now. Damn, I almost had a heart attack when I saw that fee!

You honestly thought you owed them over 4 million dollars?   Huh
719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goxed - 15:30 open on: June 26, 2011, 06:42:39 PM
lol what are you talking about, trading is halted. they are just line item executing right now.

FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.....

If I go out and buy a pack of smokes and miss an opportunity.  I'm going to be pissed.
720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goxed - 15:30 open on: June 26, 2011, 06:32:51 PM
Sell - 50
Buy.0000001

Price is stable at 15.3$ on TH.

Looks like the market doesn't care that much about what is happening on MtGox.

Yeah, and another 1000 BTC sale on that site will bring the price down another 2 dollars like it did yesterday.  A 1000 BTC wall is nothing on MTGox.  Or at least it wasn't until it shut down a week ago.  On tradehill it'd plummet prices again.  There isn't enough volume on TH to compare it to Gox.
