I agree, this coin is too important to let die. This coin has huge potential. The dev is clearly not interested in this coin anymore. Maybe its time to set up a bounty for someone to fix the wallet and implement the same security updates all the other pow/pos coins have done recently.

Yep, I simply cant understand why you would leave perfectly good miners not running for 3 - 4 weeks just because of a faulty wiibox. there are plenty of options to get up and running without the wiibox. You can pick up a pi and sd card for under $50 AUD and there are plenty of instructions on setting them with with gridseed on this forum. You can pick up an AU adapter for $2, or goto your local tip and cut a cable from an old TV or microwave.

Ive had to delete and re-sync several time now, and every time my minting amount is different. This would suggest the chain keeps forking, probably due to the speed of minting. minting needs to slow down similar to how mintcoin has approached minting.

I don't know about others, but I would prefer to see these coins with a small premine as opposed to IPO. I understand coin development cost time and money, however pre-mine encourages the dev to stick with the coin and develop it so their pre-mine becomes worth something. too many IPO's lately where the dev promises the world and then is hardly seen after launch. On the face of it this coin looks good but the IPO in my view is a deterrent.

Ok so I have a totally upsetting and new problem. Once my wallet was unlocked, I started minting coins. This first time I minted I didn't pay much attention. But then I noticed something startling. Some coins were missing. Then another stake came in. More coins went missing. Every time a stake came in more coins would be missing I closed my my wallet around the time almost 1,000 coins went missing!! What is this all about!!!  Read about Proof of Stake (POS), when you mint, some of your coins are put up as stake/claim for the coins you have minted. You will get your coins back, and you freshly minted coins once your minted coins reach maturity. which is after 500 confirms |

For those having problems try this:
Delete everything in your appdata folder except the wallet.dat file.
Download the updated client from the OP.
DO NOT ADD ANY NODES AT ALL
Let it sync, if it stalls or has problems, close it and reopen it.
If you are missing coins go to the console and type repairwallet
Wait a minute or so and close the wallet.
Reopen it and all should be fine.
TO BE CLEAR DO NOT ADD ANY NODES, INCLUDING THE ONES IN THE OP.

adding nodes from the op helped fix my syncing issues. maybe try first without the nodes on the op, if still having sync issues try adding the nodes in the op. well, my client is in sync apparently now, and the 300,000 i had in stake, is gone >.<

Mine did that. I typed "repairwallet" in the console, waited a minute, then closed the wallet and when I reopened it my coins where back. hey, this worked! haha, idk what is going on with this coin, but i kindof am liking the drama and community help  go SHAcoin I agree, its great to see community getting behind this coin, it has a lot of potential. |

My wallet is staying syncd now it seems, block # 18949, and minting POS blocks like crazy. None are confirmed yet but are incrementing confirmations. 101,328 coins in my stake balance.
Currently, I have 3 peers, but this number varies between 3 and 29 pretty frequently:

151.228.116.110
The transaction for the coins I purchased from CryptoAltEx appears orphaned, so I'm guessing they were (or maybe still are) definitely on the wrong chain (but who knows at this point)

update: ok removed all files from old client, removed all files from appdata/roaming/shacoin except for wallet.dat, made new shacoin.conf with info in op, and now wallet seems to be syncing.
edit: in console type "walletpassphrase "yourwalletpassword" 999999999" to start minting

My wallet starts going wackadoodle every time I enable mining. I end up having to delete everything and repairwallet. Then when i think it is all ok I enable mining and it starts finding blocks very fast.
idk, but the netwok is working fine, and thats all i really care about that i can send coins and its working I dont know how you can say the network is fine when a large number of people are having problems with client sync, no minting, and block height not matching the explorer. This is basically a Blackcoin clone and I cant recall Blackcoin having any of these problems. |

Yep, something seems very broken at the moment. I hope the dev can fix it. I installed updated wallet, started fresh by deleting the old blockchain data (I kept wallet.dat of course) and now im missing 50K SHA from POW phase!!?!?!
edit: ok repairwallet seems to have worked for me, still having sync issues though.

Anyone in batch 4 get tracking yet? Batch 5 will probably ship same day as 5  I can confirm I received tracking for batch 4 via pm about 18hrs ago (thanks Atari02!). DHL website has package in the country waiting for delivery, contacted DHL and they confirm package will be delivered first thing Monday morning (its Friday afternoon here in Aus). If your in the US i wouldn't be surprised if you see your units arrive today. |

in "My Orders" status is now Paid/unshipped/valid, however BTC pay and confirm is still 0 BTC. Is this normal? sorry if this is a silly question but this is my first of hopefully many orders with Bitmain.
