701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you suggest participate in airdrop? why? on: May 20, 2019, 02:25:41 PM
it depends on how much free time you have, if you have a lot of free time it is better to use it to participate in airdrop. although the results are not too large, it is not bad to add funds to invest. I have not participated in airdrop for a long time, but that does not mean airdrop is not good, only a matter of free time I do not have to participate in airdrop
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin lover on: May 20, 2019, 01:09:14 PM
I need advice on alternative currencies to purchase before btc rallies above 8000 usd.. anything among the top 100 coins on coinmarketcap will so just fine
if you ask here surely everyone has a different answer because they have their favorite altcoin. It does not guarantee that altcoins in the top 100 will be fine, because crypto is volatile where prices can change significantly over time. so my suggestion is to examine more deeply about the altcoin that you want to invest better.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum drop below $240 again do you believe? on: May 20, 2019, 11:51:59 AM
Will Ethereum drop below $240 again do you believe?
everything can happen, because we don't know that in the future Ethereum will improve or deteriorate. all certainly hope Ethereum will always develop, we know crypto is volatile where prices can change significantly over time. so this can happen.

705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's time to pick altcoin on: April 07, 2019, 05:41:32 PM
I know many will say the time ended, we must have bought before 15 days but I think this is the best time. Before couple of weeks ago, BTC was around $4k and which is why altcoins are overpriced in term of BTC. Now that BTC has gained price, altcoins price has decreased in term of BTC and now is the best time to pick your favorite altcoin because right after the BTC ride, altcoin will also follow the trend.
Yes, now is the right time to buy some good altcoins. Follow according to the observations and analysis that you do, if at this time is the right time to buy it, then do it, all decisions are in your hands and do what you think is right to do.
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you end up with shit coins? on: April 07, 2019, 01:50:04 PM
I am working on an article about how smart people ended up buying shitcoins – I need some info on why you bought shitcoins (if any). If you choose "other" then can you care to comment on what that other means? Would appreciate if you helped me get an insight!
Thanks in advance.
I think everyone has their own ways and strategies, maybe some investors believe that buying some shitcoin and if one of them can accelerate it will provide benefits for them, but I think that is indeed not an easy thing to happen because we know that most are just trash and has no value. So I think every investor has their own way in the world of cryptocurrency.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Crypto now? on: April 07, 2019, 03:14:28 AM
I'm just curious if you guys still hodling your altcoins?
Do you still believed that we could get x1000 profit if we hodl our altcoins longer? And kindly suggest best coins should i invest this year.

Thanks.
Get a profit of up to 1000x if holding a coin that we have in a long period of time can happen and may not occur. We can only estimate the possibilities that can occur by observing and analyzing the coins that we have to take our next decision and I personally will not wait to gain profits many times over, I will sell the coins that I have when I have benefited from them because sometimes we too greedy and in the end only get a loss.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still experiencing the bearish market? on: April 06, 2019, 10:37:11 PM
Of course bearish market still happened in the midst of minor pumps lately, and I wouldn't be surprised since those other holders grabbed the small opportunity of that price increase. However, no need to be afraid of current price downfall because it was just a natural fluctuations as part of bearish trend nowadays. Keep your faith and always have positive expectations in the future coming days.
I think everyone must have confidence in themselves because each person has a different opinion and not to be influenced by what others say. Make your own observations and analysis, don't panic when you see the price of the coins you have falling and take the decision that you think is right to do.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how you feel at this point(currently) on: April 06, 2019, 05:46:32 PM
i am feel , this stable point keep for some time, after 2-5 years we can expect huge bull run. near future i am not expecting and i dont think bull run comes.
now no new investment coming.

my portfolio now below 50$ , i am anyway ok. i know this will be rise ...

how about your thought

https://www.bitcoin-socialclub.com/
We don't know when bullrun will happen again, so for now it's better to hold coins that you have and keep watching market developments or maybe you can do daily trading to still be able to make money from cryptocurrency. So, I feel patience is needed for us to plan the next step that we will take will it still survive or go and get a loss, all depends on our respective decisions.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stake allocation on: April 06, 2019, 03:04:11 PM
More percent of stakes goes to senior members like Sr member, hero member or legendary under bounty campaigns. But except for few cases, their performances are similar to those by junior members like member, Jr member.
The percentage of stakes allocated is much far between senior members and junior members. Moreover, it is really hard to get merit nowadays unlike in the past when merits would be given based on the quantity of posts. Except for few cases, merits are awarded to only the nearer and dearer.

So what do you guys think about it? You are welcome to comment.
Yes, the current system is different from the previous one and it can be said that it is more difficult for us to increase our rank from junior to senior so we have to work harder to increase our rank. I think a greater stake allocation for a higher rank is natural because most people start from 0 and it takes years to improve it to reach legendary.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to sell off your crypto investment on: April 06, 2019, 01:36:57 PM
This is actually my first topic on the bitcointalk forum, been in the crypto eco-sphere for some time now but didn't really feel the need to join this forum until lately. As a trader/ investor the market has taught me some pretty tough lessons and am currently in search of solutions. My question is when does one get out of a trade or sell off a crypto investment?. I used to be a sucker for the hold gang but recent experience has taught me that sometimes you just need to sell off some cryptocurrency even at loss and move on with your life. Examples of such include dragon chain. I bought at the top a year ago and because of the fact that i noticed they were constantly having meetups and news on their social media, i felt sooner or later the market will correct and it will escalate in price. Fast forward to today am rekt and my investment is almost 92 percent gone.
I think its important to throw this question open to the public because a lot of noobs are coming through and although this happens to be the best time to join the crypto space, people need to be educated that it won't be always rossy, you might need to get out of some trades before it gets you down the rabbit hole and into wretchedness.
So blockchain experts and crypto enthusiast when do you say is the best time to get out of a trade? or Dump a long term cryptocurrency you invested in? What level of loss can you take before you hit the panic button?.

Sometimes we have to sell some of the coins we have with losses or you could say we sell them to cut bigger losses, but I think 92% is not cutting losses because you could say the coins are worthless and we really need to observe and analyze the coins we have to determine our steps in the future, hold it or sell it to cut losses if we think the coin will be difficult to continue to increase.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not yet an end for crypto on: April 05, 2019, 11:20:31 PM
There is a saying that the road to success is not always smooth. This is just exactly what crypto inves tment portrays. In the business of crypto, uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. The fact that there is a very high level of dip in crypto market currently is not enough reason to conclude that an end has come to crypto.I know that the bearish market situation at present  in the crypto world would  make many crypto lovers to be having a second thought of relinquishing their ardent commitment to crypto investment since no tangible profit is forthcoming but honestly, that is not the best option. What crypto is going through now is just a bend and not the end . In a short while from now, things will amend for better .This is not yet the end for crypto but rather a bend for something better.
Yes, I agree with what you say. Every time the cryptocurrency market falls, many people say this is the end of cryptocurrency, selling all the coins you have. Do not be too trusting in every other person's words, rising and falling prices are common in the world of cryptocurrency, maybe this is just a bend and we should at least prepare a strategy or the next step we will take.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't bite more than you can chew on: April 05, 2019, 09:44:01 PM
This is applicable to everyone in the crypto space, not to attempt to do more than they are capable of doing.
- For crypto traders, miners and investors, invest only what you can afford to loose. Do not invest all your money into crypto, believing that you will wake up one day to get a multiplier factor on your profit. It is either you have profit or loss.

- For bounty, participate in projects you can finish at a time. If you combine too many projects together, you might end up not getting anything reasonable from all the projects. I wonder some times when i see spreadsheets where some have 0 stake almost all through.

That's right. As an investor you should not be too reckless to invest all of our money, we know it is our choice to invest all money or not, but to avoid large losses and to reduce the risk it is better to invest only part of our money. Sometimes people are too greedy and they want to get more from what they do and ultimately only the losses they get.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still hodl? Then we go to you! on: April 05, 2019, 10:51:39 AM
Do you still hold coins and wait for them to grow?
I trade every day and make a profit. I can make a few in one day. For a month, it turns out about 100%
Why sit and hodl coin?
It is true. Trading is a very good way to earn income and of course with a greater risk because I don't think everyone who has just joined a cryptocurrency can trade and make profits as you say. So, I think that person will choose to invest for quite a long time, which of course is easier to do for them.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to invest now? on: April 05, 2019, 09:31:08 AM
Seeing market slowly recover then it is a good sign that there could be next ATH. So, while crypto is cheap.now, Do you think that it is better to invest now? How ready are you to do it. Are you going to invest all at once or make a succeesion of investment over a period of time.

Please let me know your plans and strategy and how you think you can earn from the market.
Yes, the market is slowly recovering and of course investors already have a plan when it is right for them to start buying coins and invest in the coins and which coins they will invest, I think every investor will have his choice, each one is ready with what they will do.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I won't give up on: April 04, 2019, 10:50:34 PM
I'm sick and tired of negative thoughts people are passing unto each other of here and believe me that won't help anybody ,infact its an act of discouragement which s not needed at all as an investor

- in the past I started with faucet ,yes you heard me right,I never had cash to buy coins so I kept gathering SATs through faucets and at that time bitcoin was at 1000+ per one so faucets payout was still very good and I did this for several months till 2017 bullrun and I make good profit through faucets ,why I'm sharing this is

+Sometimes you have to stay positive to achieve aims, neglect the negative thoughts ,I was in a very bad shape then and today I'm glad I'm able to have good big portfolio but LOOK WHERE I START FROM ,bounties and airdrops don't pay like in the past they say ,does that mean THEY WILL NEVER PAY AGAIN? What have you learned to be able to SPOT GOOD projects ?

-I won't give up because good things don't come easily ,just don't expect that you will make thousands of money as if money falls from the sky ,accept the challenges and you will get better than yesterday.

-people are saying ICOS are bad they don't pay ,same to airdrops too ,please kindly look at the profile of those spreading this news they still have SiGNATURES on there profiles means they don't give up ,you shouldn't too ,believe that things will get better with time and make yourself a better person than yesterday

-Scammers are making almost all ICO looks bad I accept but if we extract the scammers as if they never exist what about market condition? We can't do anything about it as it will take time to recover ,please let's not be weaklings ,let's stay strong ,keep patience alive and keep learning so we can get better at spoting good projects ,thank you.
Yes, keep learning from what has happened and we experience it. Many people give bad news, as if they want to make us sell the coins we have. And for ICO itself, it is better for us to observe and analyze it ourselves about the ICO project that we will follow and not just listen to other people's words, do what we think is right and will benefit us.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to ICO if....... on: April 04, 2019, 09:25:59 PM
I'm wondering what will happen to ICO if bitcoin goes back to 1000$ plus per one to find its bottom? Will ICO start dying off ? Cos presently ICO is already suffering from market condition and I'm wondering what ICO fate would be it bitcoin falls further ,any thoughts???
It might happen and if that happens, I think some ICOs will die and maybe just a good project, have a good platform, promising project and good ideas, I think it can survive in that situation.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do to recover your losses? on: April 04, 2019, 05:24:11 PM
You have a long list of altcoin portfolio that have tanked down by 90% since you participated in the ICO.  What was $5000 is now worth $500.  You are at a loss of $4000 and there happen to be an upcoming token sale that is pretty hyped.

You are in desperate need to recover your losses and you plan to invest in that hyped token sale in hope that you can earn 5-10x.  Would you:

1. Pump fresh fiat out of your pocket into the token sale or
2. Trade off the the altcoins you have for BTC/ETH and invest into that hyped token sale.

Share your thoughts.
We know what we do will have risks, everyone will want to recover the losses they have got, but I think to trade the altcoin that I have and then invest it into the tokensale is something I don't think is right and I would prefer to hold it.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: April 04, 2019, 03:35:00 PM
Read this several minutes ago. We must be vigilant on what we are investing and must do some research or study first if the project that we wanted to join is legit or not. So sad that there are some ICOs who are just making money for their own sake. Because of this issues, people becomes scared of cryptocurrencies and thinks that other cryptos that are legit are scams too.

http://www.livebitcoinnews.com/denaro-ico-raises-8-7m-and-goes-up-in-smoke/
That's right. I think every investor must know this, they must do research and observe before deciding to invest their money in order to minimize the risk of undesirable things of course and of course to be able to benefit from the investment made.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency investment on: March 31, 2019, 10:17:27 PM
I used to get worked up over a loss in cryptocurrency not until I realized that these losses can be mitigated using the right investment strategy.
Investing and holding a coin is not the issue here, the issue is knowing when to sell.
The most successful investors are those who know when exactly to sell.
And to do that, one need doses of patience so as not to fomo and sell at loss.
The difference between the rich and the poor is simply the ability to know the right time to sell.

I agree with what you say, indeed as an investor we have to know when it is appropriate to sell the coin because some people are too greedy when they see the price of the coins they have increased they choose to keep holding it and wait for it to reach its highest point, but in the end what they got was a loss because they chose to delay procrastination when they had benefited from it.
