721  Economy / Speculation / Re: Metcalfe's Law: Bitcoin Price and Adoption Analysis for the Future on: August 06, 2014, 03:27:29 PM
I'm not an expert at all but what I can say is that the adoption is still at the beginning and it's far away from the midpoint.
722  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $500 the new $50 of 2013 on: August 06, 2014, 03:20:09 PM
500 is the new 100. We were around 100 for nearly 5 months last year. Maybe the same this year. Who knows!

Yes, in the last summer we were stagnating at $100 for months after the bubble of April,
now we have been in the 500/600$ range enough and it's time to move on... Smiley
723  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie question physical bitcoins on: August 06, 2014, 03:17:06 PM
You can find some examples of the physycal bitcoins here in the bitcointalk market section,
they are usually sold to collectors. There are some rare editions which are very expensive.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 0.2 FEE!!!! ? am i missing something? on: August 06, 2014, 03:04:32 PM
I don't see the image, maybe you have set the wallet to pay a huge tx fee?
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many addresses do you think the average bitcoin user has? on: August 06, 2014, 03:02:56 PM
The average bitcoin user in my opinion could have about 50 addresses.
This takes into account the smart ones, with hundreds or thousands, and the newbie users with only 1 address.
726  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking to start investing again on: August 06, 2014, 02:57:50 PM
There isn't a "safe" online exchange to store your bitcoins, when you have bought them you should send them
as soon as possible to a wallet on your pc.
The most famous and secure are Armory, Electrum, Multibit and the "original" bitcoin core.
727  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: serious question about blockchain on: August 06, 2014, 02:51:49 PM
The most secure way to store your bitcoins is sending them to a cold wallet, you can do it also with Armory.

728  Other / Off-topic / Re: Places you want to travel to before you die on: August 05, 2014, 10:07:04 PM
I would want to go to Paris and watch the Tour Eiffel all the night while it shines, in the summer.
Before I die another place to travel would be the grand canyon.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Earn 1 BTC easy and FAST!! on: August 05, 2014, 09:42:35 PM
I don't know if you did that on purpose but the title is wrong, you won't earn 1 BTC but only few cents.
730  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: mining with smartphone on: August 05, 2014, 09:31:31 PM
Mining is unprofitable for people with rigs of powerful videocards, if you try to use a smartphone to mine the result will be even worse because you could find a wallet stealer in the app...
731  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will plummet to $10 by first half of 2014 on: August 05, 2014, 09:19:00 PM
I knew this thread was old before opening it  Roll Eyes

Then stop opening it! Wink

Lol I'm sure this joke will be well used for a while yet
At least until he makes his next prediction

Now we can follow the awesome predictions of falllling and laugh at them, there's always someone a little too pessimistic in this forum.
732  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict the price of Bitcoin on 1 April 2015 - win CGB's on: August 05, 2014, 09:14:51 PM
Hard to predict but my sixth sense says that the price will be 1400$ after the drop caused by the bubble.
733  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does anybody take the content of this section seriously? on: August 05, 2014, 09:08:56 PM
I take seriously only the content which is closer to my point of view, at the moment all the threads
where people is bullish and the ones with the positive distant future predictions.
734  Economy / Speculation / Re: They told me bubble on: August 05, 2014, 05:19:47 PM
Hope you are all right seem like something similar was last year but only in November was boom last year.
So in long term we will see what will happen in this few days or months

I am very sure that $800 is indeed very close to us.
It is just a matter of weeks when bears will cry.

Yes there's no reason why the price shouldn't start to rise, bitcoin is undervalued at the moment in my opinion.

Well we can say it really is undervalued when we compare a cost of mining with difficulty.

But well no one knows what is the real value yet Smiley We can just wait .. perhaps many years will past until we will estimate the true/fair value of 1 Bitcoin.

I think we won't find the real value untill the last bitcoin will be mined, therefore not in our whole life.

736  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking to start investing again on: August 05, 2014, 07:21:07 AM
My advice is to use Bitstamp, it's one of the most trusted and secure exchanges, and the few times I had an issue, the assistance was awesome.
737  Economy / Economics / Re: Easiest way to make BTC? on: August 05, 2014, 07:11:05 AM
1 btc a day without having any investment or particular skills is almost impossible, but you can aim to build it slowly,
few cents a day by trading alts or joining some signature campaign.
738  Economy / Speculation / Re: Maybe falllling is right? on: August 05, 2014, 07:04:01 AM
Probably we are in the "hope" part of the graph, the price reached its bottom some months ago and now it's just a matter of weeks before the next rally.
739  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many Bitcoins needed to retire in 5-6 years? on: August 03, 2014, 09:17:01 PM
100 btc will be enough for retirement in 4-5 years but if you wait 2020, after the second btc halving from now, maybe with 50 btc you will live peacefuly untill heaven/hell.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help Needed on: August 03, 2014, 02:03:52 PM
Not a bad rig at all, if the electricity cost in your country is low you can use them to instamine some new coins and earn some profit.
