Blockchain download taking forever today ..
Have version 1.2 and NRS 1.1.5
Just me ?? or is there a problem ..

TIA

Triff ..

No issues for me, try closing everything down and re-opening.  That usually works for me.

It's time to update to 1.2.4

Thanks,

I get my NXT client from here

http://nxtra.org/nxt-wallet/

No version 1.2.4 that I can see

Triff ..

Notified Wesleyh about http://nxtra.org/nxt-wallet/ not update. Instead, you can use 1.2.4 from https://bitbucket.org/JeanLucPicard/nxt/downloads/nxt-client-1.2.4.zip

I'm still confused with this coin, sorry

I'm on the list. Do my coins allready exist or not?

Dont be confused. Msg Mac Red and find out. Also you can check in your nxt account for Ora assets.

so I see Oras in "my assets" in next account. are those mine? and what does "transfer" mean?

Transfer means that if you have another NXT account, you could simply transfer your ORA assets to another account, what i did with mine. In other words, you can transfer your asset to another account, only paying 1 NXT fee for that.

https://hitbtc.com/vote

Look at that ! Another thing every stakeholder can do.
put my voice there, didn't find NEM on bter

p.s. it's really pity to see NEM stakes on second place in AE Cry

p.s.s. Would be somebody so kindly to sent me few NEM coins ?

Sent some Smiley

@Kora
That does make sense and I have to agree with this idea more (not being selective) after reading your post. It could very well motivate someone who has sold their first stake to keep their second. Either way it's not our decision to make, there was never rule against not holding. Not being judgemental and just "letting the chips fall where they may" when it comes to whatever the market decides is cool with me.

Yes, and it is more easy to do, while the list of stakeholder already exists and is ready.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ORA::100% POS|Qora Clone|Free & Fair distribution|issued NXT AE ASAP on: August 08, 2014, 11:25:15 AM
Simple solution for distributing for existing Ora holders.
1. Let decide date, for example 30th of August, 0h 00 min 00sec.
2. Then get the list of holders at this time at http://www.nxtreporting.com/shareholder.php?a=ORA+%2816194910134118257692%29&show_qnt=
3. Distribute remaining ORA assets with adequate percentage of Ora for every holder account.

The most interesting thing before distribution day will be trades between holders Smiley

Here strange behavior with 0.1.2.

My nemesis account X in WALLET1 works good: I can send and receive NEM, can harvest, can start node.

So I created new WALLET2 with account Y. Both wallet files are in the same ncc directory and I'm able to open both. And then begins:

1. My WALLET2 account Y can receive NEM, I tried this by sending some NEM from account X and also received some NEM from others;
2. Account Y cannot boot local node, error "Wallet does not contain this account";
3. Account Y cannot start harvesting, error "Wallet does not contain this account";
4. Account Y cannot send NEM, error "Wallet does not contain this account".

Restarted with webstart, problems remain the same.
A. Is it known issue?
B. Am I doing something wrong?

Working on Windows 7.

Here are accounts for investigation:

Code:
WALLET1 account X: TAZUHL-TXN2LN-ZNIYAN-LYFJVK-CROXKJ-PPRXGD-5FJT
WALLET2 account Y: TDEIMT-JDHYFE-Z7MM7S-YB2OPZ-6OOFXL-UDB46G-XNLA

Try making Y your primary account.
If that's the problem then the error messages are off but it would make sense that only the primary account can harvest.

When I log in to the WALLET2, my account Y is primary. Sorry for my english, but I use two wallet files. It is not like I'm adding new account Y in NCC. Think about two instances of NCC with different wallets, but on same PC.

Could you please translate it? Smiley
I have 525K of NEM, I can access them, but cannot harvest.
Where I can find private key and what to do with it?

you posted key, here:
http://forum.nemcoin.com/index.php?topic=2324.msg3895#msg3895

do you have priv key to this account? if yes, you should have access to a lot more NEMs and you should be able to harvest, straight away

OK, a little bit mess in here or I didn't understand something Smiley
Now I opened my old wallet from backup, here is 50M NEM and I can harvest.
To be sure, you name priv key as account no. or it is something else? If it is different things, where I can find my private kay of my account?
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Moderated Thread - One Click Install Is Live[Updates & Discussion] on: August 07, 2014, 04:04:34 PM
How many blocks confirmations needed to start harvesting?

BUMP.

I'm getting "The provided account does not satisfy the basic criteria for harvesting. Mainly it is related to the amount of NEMs within the account. Harvesting starts with at least 10.000 NEMs." error when want to start harvesting. 525K in account.

you were in nemesis block, so if you HAVE your private key, you should have access to your NEMs

Could you please translate it? Smiley

In the Java controllpanel you should delete all cached files and remove NCC and NIS (don't deactivate caching though).
You should also delete all files in your "home" folder even the wallet (just remove the directories).

The it's prob best to restart the machine and try again afterwards.

OK, got rid off problems. Did what you wrote and additionally:

1. run ccleaner to clean all temporary stuff include java
2. updated java to version 8 update 11
3.restarted PC
4. webstart went smoothly

Trying new release. Doesn't run neither one click nor standalone. Where all files of old version and of new version are storied? Windows 7. Want to delete everything and start from the scratch. Is old wallet file still valid with new version or I need to create new one?

Because of the reset i think you'll need to delete them yes.
They should be in your Users "home" folder. Where Dekstop, Downloads and such are as well.

Plz always post error messages or a more detailed description of the behaviour you're seeing.

OK, deleted everything, except wallet file. Started with webstart, some confirmation to run, NCC login screen started. Entered password to open my wallet, error window "Oooops! ERROR error not found". Seems NIC is not running.

Tried with standalone client, run nis.bat, everything went good. started ncc.bat, nis terminal window killed, there is only ncc terminal window.

EDIT:
Standalone version, got error in terminal befoer nis is killed:

Well, you'll distribute 166.667 ORA assets for each stakeholder. Somebody for sure will dump, somebody will hodl, somebody will buy. And then goes vote what to do with unclaimed stakes. If vote will win that unclaimed stakes should go to stakeholders, so how these unclaimed stakes will be distributed, while there will be new ORA assets holders after mentioned dump, hodl and buy? Or do I miss something?

1. The initial number of stake holders allocated was 3k. These 3k will be receiving 50% of total coins issued. Enough time has been given for the registration. And now we end up with 8++ Round 1 stake holders.

2. 50% is allocated to total stakes of 50% hence the 166,666 number of coins per stake. Once the nxt voting comes in, we will decide what to with the leftovers. Now if from that initial round 1 stake holders wants to dump or not is not our concern. The remaining stake holders will be deciding on the leftovers. This is something beyond our control. We have raised this question few times but none has raised their concerns until now. I think you guys being quite unfair.

Just my view.

Thank you for reply. So, as I understand, initial distribution will be half (50%) of stakes to stakeholders. If vote will be to distribute another half to existing ORA asset holders at the vote moment, so, if I have, for example, 200,000 ORA asset, so I'll get another 200,000 ORA assets? In other words, every asset holder will double his assets. Am I right?

If this decision will come, it will be interesting to look at trades an AE Smiley

Not quite correct.

This is from the OP:
Update 13:
Proposal to use NXT 'voting system' to decide left over stake issue
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=620518.msg7868027#msg7868027

Click that link and you get:

The information is accessible from the OP if you follow the links.

edit: We're distributing as if we reached 3K stakeholders (that's where the 166,667 ORA assets comes from, 500 M / 3000). Depending on the vote, we'll either give existing stakeholders more, or use for a 'round 2', or bounties, or some combination.

This is the '50%' we're doing today, but only to ~880 people, so it's not the full 50%. The vote decides the left overs.
50% - distributed equally to ~3000 webapp registration applicants

The other 50% will be distributed based on the original plan:
5% - goes to the registration webapp dev
5% - goes to the dev who clones Qora, and creates the ORA wallet applications
2% - ORA founder
8% - goes to node bot bounties
4% - website & marketing
1% - Qora dev
25% - POWER BOUNTIES

I hope that is clear now!

Thank You Kora for information. My considerations, and only considerations, was about bolded underlined. Let's move on Smiley
