721  Economy / Services / Re: Get my AVATAR and Personal Text Space for FREE on: June 18, 2017, 04:35:26 AM
Alright, can I get a spot this time? Smiley I will send you a PM regarding this! Do you allow people to get your avatar spot for weeks in a row?
722  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Schrodingers - Ask. Answer. Earn. on: June 18, 2017, 04:32:48 AM
What about questions/answers, will they disappear?
I hope that all the activity and questions can be back to normal if possible, as it still seems to have some minor errors like the user balance.

Wish to see this site grow!! What is your twitter page again? Tried to find it but I forgot Tongue
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New US law proposal will make all crypto illegal on: June 18, 2017, 04:22:36 AM
Ouch, where is the 'freedom' in US? Sad Even so, I don't get how they will track down the Bitcoins of every user. I know its easily to track large companies, and does it mean they will block all exchange sites?

This is looking quite bad for Bitcoin, if its users decrease. If this is true, rich people would have risks of all assets being 'controlled' by the government, so yes, indeed this is encouraging people to store gold/cash overseas instead.

I don't think this will tackle the main issue of criminals using Bitcoin, and I don't know what will.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's still really hard to use bitcoin as a regular currency on: June 18, 2017, 04:15:06 AM
Bitcoin has not been designated as a regular currency. It was designed to mimic gold, that is, more a store of value and for big transactions. Usage as regular currency is an accident. Also Bitcoin is too precious to be used as a currency, it is like using gold to pay stuff.

But if you want, there are credit cards that accept Bitcoin, if you want to use it as a currency.
Exactly, we must treat Bitcoin like an investment instead of wanting it to be a currency we can use digitally. Maybe in the future we can use altcoins with fast transactions and low fees as a currency instead, but seeing how Bitcoin is right now, high fees, slow transactions, I don't think Bitcoin can be a used regularly.

Even I rarely touch my BTC because of the hideous fees. Angry

726  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: L@@K BTCWarrior RPG Conquer The Wilderness - Climb The Ladder - CLAIM FREE MONEY on: June 17, 2017, 02:03:18 PM
Prolink does not work for me, it directs me to a blank page. Would you mind if you shift the a-ads banner at the middle to the bottom instead? It is very obstructive making it harder to navigate, and also annoying. If you place it at the bottom I am sure the views will be the same too.

If you want new members to join, you have to make their first visit friendly, but all the ads that popup at the site are not. Sad Do you have any plans of working on a major update to add a new feature/ change the design of the site?
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: June 17, 2017, 05:20:29 AM
I don't think any cryptocurrency can ever beat/replace PayPal. Cryptos are not accepted widely, and given that PayPal is already renowned by many major companies, I doubt they would want to switch to Cryptos.

Unless PayPal adds a Bitcoin as a payment option, then Bitcoin may become more popular as a 'digital currency' used through PayPal, and I hope that it can be added to merge both payment options. Cheesy
728  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Help Rescue Horses With Bitcoin 💓 (Packard Meadows Farm) 🐎🐎🐎 on: June 17, 2017, 02:25:28 AM
Take more photos, and let us see what is like and what can be improved on. Smiley I am curious too see what horses and the farm your brother has too! Cheesy

What is your goal? To save more horses from working? That is pretty cool, and what are your plans too for after that? (Release them back?) Smiley
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man Robbed at Gunpoint for $1,100 Worth of Bitcoins in Brooklyn on: June 17, 2017, 02:03:29 AM
That is why I do not trust meetups, especially when people have armed weapons.

If you're going to sell bitcoins, at least do so in a crowed area with surveillance, like a coffee shop or something.

Yup, these are what buyers/sellers should look out for to prevent such incidents from happening. Sad That was indeed a hard lesson to learn (quite a terrifying one too), and hopefully people will be more aware from now on.. Tongue
730  Economy / Speculation / Re: New to bitcoin Need some advice! on: June 17, 2017, 01:58:10 AM
Yes, buying and selling is very risky and a difficult choice to make. Only trade what you are willing to lose, if that is all your Bitcoins, I suggest holding your BTC and buying a bit every now and then when the price drops or so. If you want to minimize fees, you would have to sell more/all which of cause comes with risks.

Storing Bitcoin would already be a good investment, so why not you only trade with 20% of what you have, if you like trading. Smiley
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Any good meme coins I can buy out for less than $3000? on: June 17, 2017, 01:46:12 AM
What do you mean by meme coins? Smiley Doge is still a good meme and it fulfils your criteria, and you can easily buy 100 mil Doge coins with what you have now. Smiley Doge is still quite popular, so I guess you can try it. Cheesy
732  Economy / Exchanges / Re: COINBASE now seizing accounts of Americans on: June 16, 2017, 01:37:55 PM

If you are using Coinbase, you are just begging to have your Bitcoins stolen or seized. The total dollar value of Bitcoins that have so far been “stolen” by Coinbase from users in Wyoming and Hawaii is unknown, but given current Bitcoin valuations, it’s almost certainly in the tens of millions of dollars.

This seems quite nasty for such a good online wallet that is trusted by many, further more I used it so often and if this is true it would be quite disheartening to see such services drop due to greed(?). MtGox, Cryptsy, I don't want CoinBase to be the same.

On a side note, withdrawing from CoinBase is probably recommended now that all this is happening. Sad
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to store my cryptocurrenices on: June 16, 2017, 10:50:38 AM
I recommend you to get separate clients for each crypto that you want, if it is a large volume. I just switched to Electrum from a Web Wallet which recently had issues, so you can check that out. Smiley

Here is a good site to find out which wallet you prefer: Bitcoin Wallets

For altcoins like ETH, WAVES, DGB, I am sure they have specialized wallets that can be found easily, try to avoid storing them in an exchange site. If you want to, remember Cryptsy? Smiley
734  Economy / Speculation / Re: No need to panic guys! Here's why... on: June 16, 2017, 10:43:35 AM
Looks like Bitcoin is going for a turn now, rising up and you are right. Smiley And I hope so too! I really want to see Bitcoin break the $3000 mark, and I bet that will generate quite some news and boost BTC's popularity. Cheesy

I actually panicked a bit when it steadily dropped for the past few days, still need to get used to these ups and downs. Undecided
735  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase is down too on: June 16, 2017, 10:38:03 AM
Ok, looks like it is just a loading problem issue on their side, everything is fine now, and all their services are back up. I hope such outage does not occur again as it indeed scares people.. Tongue Minimizing usage of CoinBase for now, however its still my favorite exchange site so would still use it in the future.
736  Economy / Speculation / Re: price getting down on: June 15, 2017, 02:57:42 PM
Bitcoin has really dropped a lot since its peak at $2975, I guess everyone quickly sold out when it reached that high, now its dropping way too much for 3 days already, might even continue to drop.

Buy some now, and buy even more if it continues to crash. Go Bitcoin Go! Lets see what happens after one week.... Smiley
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins crashing - are they too linked to BTC on: June 15, 2017, 02:54:31 PM
I have no idea, you are right, almost all coins in Poloniex all dropped, and I bet those that increased are pumped up. I guess many are selling Bitcoin now, as it looks like it is falling really badly right now, the crash is way to steep and not even a single spike up the past day.

I hope Bitcoin will recover from it, I'm still holding on to all my alts and BTC for now. Undecided
738  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase is down too on: June 15, 2017, 02:04:53 PM
I was really lucky that I withdrew all my BTC to Electrum a day ago.  Lips sealed Hopefully nothing bad happens to CoinBase, its a site I trust and I like to use if not for the 'security' that having Bitcoins in a client is safer, otherwise I would use CoinBase.

Looks like it is just a loading issue, should not be a major problem, CoinBase is just gaining popularity after adding LTC and ETH, and I have faith in their team too.
739  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: June 15, 2017, 01:00:10 PM
I don't think it will ever drop to nothing ever again, as there will always be people who will buy them when the price starts to drop, since Bitcoin reached this high before.

Bitcoin may still lose its value as more people starts to use it and transaction fees gets insanely high and we stop using Bitcoin as often. Sad
740  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A crypto blog on: June 15, 2017, 02:41:02 AM
If you want to create one, go ahead, but it will not be easy as there are plenty of similar and established sites out there. For example, Crypto-net and Themerkle, they do have a lot of articles and other content on the site, so you may take them for references.

I recommend you to collaborate with other writers/people with similar startup interest to make it easier^. I personally like 99Bitcoins also as they have lots of educational videos which helped me, so you can look towards that too. I'd be happy to provide feedback if your site is successful, wish you luck!
