I wouldn't add my key as a trusted one. It's enough to check that when you see a good signature, the key fingerprint matches the fingerprint of the key which is supposed to have signed.

Here, you imported my key, import says its fingerprint is 4D6CEFC3.

When you verify, you should check the signature was made by 4D6CEFC3 (ie, mine).

Anyone can make a key claiming to be from "moneromooo-monero <moneromooo-monero@users.noreply.github.com>", so do not trust that part. You need only trust you imported the right key in the first place. Then check the fingerprints match. That should be good enough.

Various items may be made from the pelts, fungible or unique.

Conversion for fur items will close on sunday evening, midnight GMT, in about four and a half days.
If you wish to have any fur items and have not yet converted, now is the time.

In addition, tailors have added another item for sale:

 - fur gloves (use note "gloves"). A fungible item, a pair of fur gloves needs 15 pelts, plus the usual labor cost.

The Earl of Stonehaven troops have long been under instruction to maintain the peace and explore the county. Unfortunately, things have not gone as peacefully as one might have hoped. First, the occupation of Crypto Kingdom lands by the Swedish military under Gustaf Adolf's command, and second, constant harrassment from groups of marauding Russiyan outlaws attempting to take advantage of the upheaval to plunder the countryside.

In order to put an end to the low level violence and banditry plaguing the county, a methodical series of raids will be performed to destroy the Rossiyan marauders' hideouts, and allow the Stonehaven population to go about their business without fear of those bandits. Any property captured from the marauders will be deposited with the Stonehaven treasury.

While the peasants were at first wary of seeing a new force in their lands, a respectful attitude from the Stonehaven military followed a swift campaign against the Swedish occupiers, spearheader by Archduke Zechariah convinced the population that the Crypto Kingdom troops' goals were to protect the land, and not merely plunder it for riches. As such, relations quickly formed between the groups, and business dealings quickly followed.

It is in the interest of both parties to accomodate the other, as mutual help enables mutual benefit. The Earl's has to balance the needs for income for army and workers' maintenance with the need and wish to not hobble the fledgling economy. As such, the Earl will start levying taxes in kind, in return for the protection afforded by the Stonehaven troops. The troops will be tasked with both collecting the tax, and raids against the marauders. The primary focus will be to pacify the central Stonehaven area, and the road to the Old Duchy, to secure production centers as well as the main trade route. It is expected that the main Stonehaven area will stay peaceful while the Archduke's troops are present at the river. Once the Archduke decides to move, this will be reviewed. For now, we will be capitalizing on the goodwill we have with the population after having fought the bandits for a few years, and the occupiers.

A second issue to keep in mind is the Swedes' continued construction east of Stonehaven's camp. While peace is in effect between Crypto Kingdom and Swedes, it is unthinkable to allow the Swedes to build their town first, and thus not only claim Stonehaven as their own, but threaten to split the counties of Tavastia, North Face and Petrichor from remainder of Crypto Kingdom. Because of this, the workers are tasked with keeping track of the advancement of the Swedish town's construction, especially the source of materials, and attempt to interfere with those materials' sourcing, where possible without direct conflict. Needless to say, Stonehaven itself needs those materials as well, and attention should be paid to any efforts by the Swedes to interfere with our own planning.

More workers have been hired and dispatched to Stonehaven, including newly trained engineers. Now is the time to match, and outpace, the Swedes.

The winters are cold, and especially the thin Noble Blue is not warm enough. Let's rid ourselves of unfashionable adhoc overcoats and make the proper and classy Siberian Flying Squirrel outfits for all who consider themselves as society.

The time has now come to make good use of the pelts obtained from Rossiya.

Various items may be made from the pelts, fungible or unique.
Fungible items take a set amount of pelts (list below), as well as labour cost of 30k m per pelt. Unique items may be ordered from myself (PM me on BCT on IRC), and will cost a number of pelts that I will estimate depending on the item characteristics, labour cost of 30k m per pelt, plus 10% admin fee on the labour cost (min 1 mil).

Fungible items:

250*SFS => Full size bed cover (note bedcover)
200*SFS => Full-length posh and warm Mantel fur coat (note fullcoat)
150*SFS => Bedside carpet (note carpet)
100*SFS => Biker-jacket type fur coat (note jacket)
50*SFS => Pair of fur boots (note boots)
20*SFS => Stately fur hat (note hat)
20*SFS => Fur bag, midsize (note bag)
5*SFS => Fur "cap" (lightweight and fashionable) (note cap)
5*SFS => Purse for ladies (note purse)
1*SFS => Gold coin pouch for gamers and the like (note pouch)

For example, total cost for a pair of fur boots is 50 pelts plus 1.5mil (50 times 30k). To order a fungible item, consume the pelts with the given note (eg, "consume SFS 50 [boots]"), and give the m to the "labor" account ("give m 1500000 labor").

For unique items, an example would be a larger dining room carpet. Let's say it is sized at 250 pelts. Total cost would be 250 pelts plus 7.5mil for the item, plus 1mil fee (10% is 0.75mil, lower than the 1mil minimum). Consume/give item cost as for fungible items, and give the fee to character 88 in game. For unique items, I will give you a note to use when consuming once the item is designed.

I think there may be an issue with running monero in a VM.  top shows bitmonerod grabbing 14.6GB (top VIRT) of memory, but my VM only has 10GBs allocated.  So I think all my disk activity that is slowing everything down is the memory cache being grabbed/written to disk.

What is the I/O load like in top (the wa column) ?
Is bitmonerod taking all CPU all the time ?
Do you have a spinning hard drive, or SSD ?
Have you changed the down/up limits ?
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Kingdom - 1991 Retro Virtual World(City) on: February 16, 2016, 01:18:15 PM
The bid/asks in lot pages are not CKG, but m. It's mislabelled.
Other auctions have occured in the thread, so feel free Smiley
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Kingdom - 1991 Retro Virtual World(City) on: February 15, 2016, 05:46:57 PM
You are Ernak, correct ?

I see two consumes for last week, one for 50 on the 7th, and another one for 50 on the 8th.
The SCI consumes run from sunday to saturday, so these fall onto the same "conversion week". If HM's OK with it, I can convert to 4 S-B22a now, otherwise I'm keeping it as advance payment for this week (ending saturday evening), though this one's more complicated as the prices have changed.

OK, I see why the double counting, it's a simple bug I think, I'll just have to make sure it doesn't have side effects before committing. There may be a bug with the missing tx too, will need some investigating.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: February 15, 2016, 09:25:15 AM
small cosmetics, dont know if it matters now that the GUI is coming..

still:

Code:
Your transaction needs to be split into 1 transactions.  This will result in a transaction fee being applied to each transaction, for a total fee of 0.210000000000.  Is this okay?  (Y/Yes/N/No)y
Money successfully sent, transaction <42921fe1371fabb39d51f1e54580c4fefcae0e64cb2a4f04d481aa1b0b64c86d>

with 9.1 official (trx on testnet)

cheers and hodl

Is this from sweep_dust ? If so, this is intended, as sweeping dust can result in a (comparatively) huge tx fee (though some want the actual message wording to change in that case).
If not, do you have set always-confirm-transfers enabled ? If so, that's the reason.
If not, that seems to be a bug.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: February 15, 2016, 12:37:54 AM
while the first one is missing one transaction with two outputs.

The info show_transfers uses was originally not stored by default, but was switched to be on by default later on. If this is the case, the missing tx would be the first one. Is the missing tx the first one ?

An interesting test is to also run rescan_bc from the wallet, and see it that fixes it. If it does, it's likely a bug in the handling of blockchain reorgs in the wallet.

I see my items have not yet been transfered to iluvbtc_jr.

Just reminding of this  Smiley

I've just done it. Sorry about the delay Smiley

732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Kingdom - 1991 Retro Virtual World(City) on: February 14, 2016, 11:20:24 AM
This week's S-B22 is now converted.

From now on, S-B22 is replaced by S-B22A, the new 1/4 share. Further conversions are done with the new SCI ladder, starting at 4 SCI for a S-B22A share, so please make sure you don't consume 50/150 as before, or I'll get to keep the surplus Tongue

For this round, Ernak consumed 50 twice this week, so if you read that, I'll count this as advance consume for the coming week. But please pay attention, every week there's different double spenders, which I have to keep track of week to week.

Something is off. The changelog shows 8 properties swept in, but only 4 sold. Those unsold still show as owned by the Swipe character.

Nevermind. The log is very confusing, showing a transfer of 0 items of that type (so no transfer), and there's another bug in the labelling, but I think it's actually OK.

Edit: https://cryptokingdom.me/land/lot/details/743 shows as own by the swipe char, but is likely owned by avitohol's heir (not sure who, as the changelog doesn't want to find dead people so I can check)

TownSwipe dump has finished, and many characters now own new goods!
TownSwipe account made ~1200 XMR (mil) on the sales. The funds are earmarked for marketing of Crypto Kingdom.
A big thank you to all participants! Smiley

Citizens, we must cover the Closing Obelisk in 2-C with Silver! Located in Trust In Economy Square, this obelisk was built in 1599.

It is not yet known how much CKS we need to cover the obelisk, as silver is not as malleable as gold. We are going to need as much as we can get!

Everyone is hereby encouraged to donate as much CKS (or IC) as they can for coating the Obelisk in silver. If you want to donate IC, the conversion rate is 2:1 CKS:IC, for example 2500 IC would get 5000 CKS.

The Silver obelisk was created at least, thanks to the donators.

https://cryptokingdom.me/marketplace/item/BFS-60

The list of donators doesn't appear nicely as the newlines are ignored by the software, but this may be fixed in time Smiley
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Kingdom - 1991 Retro Virtual World(City) on: February 06, 2016, 11:44:41 AM
The Ming items are not available for IC conversion anymore.
See the current list of items at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=819073.msg13767127#msg13767127

To HS-S3 in particular: I mistakenly converted two min-1 a few days ago as I did not remember this was now unavailable. I can't convert more of them as per your latest IC consumes, though. Since those 10 IC can't be restored, please let me know what other items you want from the list above instead. They can also be treated as advance payment for a future conversion if you want nothing in the list. Best way to pick your choice of item is to send me (char 88) 1 monerito with a note, so I'm sure this comes from the same character in game.

GCB can be claimed if you have 100 different GOC items. Claim from an admin, this will not be checked automatically.

SCB can be claimed if you have 30 different SIC items (containing CKS). Claim from an admin, this will not be checked automatically.

CCB can be claimed if you have 10 different COT+COM items. Claim from an admin, this will not be checked automatically.

The collectors' badges have a deadline, now extended to end-of-May 1626. They are dated 1625, and all unawarded badges will be destroyed and new ones minted only for the next opportunity. So if you don't collect now, you will get your badge in 10 years (if you live!)

I will be doing this, so if you want one of those badges, please PM me (either on BCT or IRC as moneromooo), with two pieces of info:
- your character ID (found in the "dashboard" char page)
- which badge(s) your are claiming

The Earl of Stonehaven, having made a full recovery from his wound sustained at the start of the short war against Sweden, has decided to go back to Cryptotown in time time for the Jubilee.
The Earl's staff will continue the preparations, on the camp building, and the mapping of the countryside, still hoping to find things of interest. Special care will be taken when moving in the eastern part of the county, where small scale violence has been reported. The troops are instructed to organize small scale operations to break any armed group if located by a patrol, subject to HRH Zechariah's decision.
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Kingdom - 1991 Retro Virtual World(City) on: January 25, 2016, 08:26:43 PM
The Earl of Sonehaven's orders regarding his county:

- Stonehaven troops are placed under the command of HRH Zechariah until further notice (it was de facto, now it is ordered so)
- continue building up the camp
- continue mapping the area
- investigate Swedish technology if possible

Mortality was high among non military workers, new workers will be brought.
