Pyramid posting isn't against the forum rules, in my opinion, and there are situations when comments must be made in that style so that everyone can see and read the messages being replied to, much like on lending board. However, newcomers misuse the system excessively because they constantly neglect stuff. They are always told to read before posting, but they ignore this advice and post without fully understanding the forum, which leads to wrong actions. The funniest part of it all is seeing a very short post carrying a long pyramid on it’s head which they could’ve just quote the sentence that is to be replied. OP you did a good thing sharing these tips with us so newbies and those who don’t properly understand how to quote will learn from them. Pyramid quotes should be avoided where not necessary.

I don't even bother reading these articles because it's obvious from the first glance that they are spam, especially when they are from beginners. I disagree that mobile users make up the majority of pyramid posts because, as someone who uses a phone for posting, I too am aware that pyramid posting is not ideal and I don't quote every single thread that someone posts. Mobile users who know how to quote properly are not lazy to trim their quotes. If you are not knowledgeable about how to properly make quotes you will definitely end up making pyramid post regardless of the device you use so laziness does not come with a particular device and even PC users can become lazy and make pyramid posts.

I choose to ignore such postings because I am more interested in well-posted content, and pyramid posts tend to be crowded with information that makes it challenging to understand what is being said and whose quote I am currently reading. I appreciate the OP's effort in creating this thread to discourage it, but it is really bothersome. All I'm hoping for is that newbies would start reading before they post so they may find this and other related posts and gain knowledge from them. People should quit publishing in this manner since, as far as I'm concerned, I'm not the only one who ignores most pyramid posts that are actually useless.

I also see the match to be a draw because considering their previous 2 matches they played draw with both team’s scoring a single goal each in these two matches but we can’t judge from previous games because this is a new season and both teams have made some changes. Both teams are not consistent with their game especially when they are facing smaller opponents but they perform better when they are faced with stronger opponents so I believe the match will be strong and interesting.

Chelsea now seem to be in a better shape than they were when the season started, they have shown massive improvement in recent games and they earn my respect when they challenged Manchester City and Arsenal and in these matches they were the better team and they deserve to win. If they can emulate the same performance with Manchester City against Newcastle then they will definitely be the favorites to win especially now that Newcastle is having injury issues. They cannot be underestimated anyway, so in my opinion i think it will be a draw match.

Looking at recent performances Chelsea is definitely the favorite to win because they only have 2 draws and a loss in their last 8 matches which I think is an improvement for them and Newcastle’s last 2 matches was a loss, they lost to Bournemouth that sits close to the relegation zone so Chelsea can capitalize on this but Newcastle will not just sit back without fighting back and they are also good in playing big matches.

I have heard some Manchester United fans saying Ten Hag should be sacked and i am sure this will only take a matter of time before it gets to the ears of the United board and it’s directors and if the teams doesn’t show any improvement soon and they eventually get knocked out of the champions league in the knockout stage then i think the board will also like to consider sacking him except if otherwise they still somehow believe in him and his strategy. Ten hag’s team was way better last season that i got surprised that they were able to make it to the yop 4 despite struggling for some time.

To be certain if they want to secure a spot in the next round they would need to win both matches because the three remaining teams still have the same point and they will all want to make it to the knockout as well. Winning Galatasaray away from home will be very difficult but it is not impossible as you said they just need to perform extra and better than they used to, Galatasaray is a stubborn team and they will also want to fight their way to the knockout round. And also winning Bayern will be necessary just incase of a different outcome between Copenhagen and Galatasaray in their final game but i doubt if United can pull this off, i doubt if they can win bayern munich who are one of the most in form team in Europe currently.

Did you say steady income? Our leaders have not been the best but it is not wise to conclude Nigeria have failed already. Al Nassr’s defense is not as strong as Al Hilal defense no doubt but the defense and attack complement each other so well that you wouldn’t notice easily but that poor defense is not the reason why they are behind Al Hilal, it is because of their poor start at the beginning of the season losing two matches back to back. Al Hilal has more probability to win but Al Nassr cannot be underrated because they have a very clinical attack. Since Ferran Torres arrived at Barcelona he has not been at his best the way he used to play back in his Manchester City days though i am not actually a fan of La Liga so I don’t know much about the league, i don’t know maybe he is having having frequent injuries or his lack of playing time is due his poor performance. If a player is not performing well he will lose the coach’s trust and will not have enough playing time thereby making the club think of loaning out or selling.

Ferran Torres will not suit Newcastle’s style of play because they seem hard and aggressive while ferran is a soft player but if Newcastle has shown interest in him then they must’ve seen something in him but I doubt if they can spend that high on him, he is really not worth it in my opinion as well. But it’s the team’s decision, is he worth that much to them.

I don’t think Al Nassr have any problem now, the only reason they are behind Al Hilal is because they had a poor start, they lost two matches at the beginning of the season but ever since they have not lost a single match. The goals conceded is not the problem because they have won all the matches despite conceding goals, and in terms of good play and excellent performance they supersedes Al Hilala but they are just lucky to be ahead because they didn’t have a poor start like Al Nassr.

Can Manchester United win their last two matches? I don’t think so, the two opponents are the strongest in the group but they could have won Galatasaray if only they are not traveling to Turkey. Talking about consistency i don’t agree with your claims, Liverpool are not the most consistent team in the Europa league so far because they lost a match to toulouse and to talk about consistency results should be the first thing you should think of. It is so obvious and i think Bayern Liverkursen are the most consistent team in the Europa league this season because they have managed to win all their matches so far in the league and they are the only team with 12 points so far.

Concluding that Liverpool are the favorites to win the cup is too early in my opinion because there are also good teams in the league and again you should be aware that teams that gets knocked out of the champions league will join them in the next round making it more challenging for them to be the favorites. I am not condemning their performance, they are good and they have improved well in recent games and they are one of the favorites to win the Europa title.

The majority of individuals are not committed, and some people are simply too lazy to take action. No matter how little work you put in at first, starting is the wisest course of action because laziness won't get you anywhere. This is true, many people had a lot of initial passion to learn, develop, and accomplish in the forum, but eventually, that enthusiasm just declines most likely because they've reached a point where they feel good about themselves or have attained a satisfying rank. I don't think the forum will live up to its expectations if every member has such a mindset. It will be difficult for new members to learn and develop here if higher rank members decide they have accomplished everything and cease being productive. As such, it is a terrible practise to encourage higher rank members to quit being productive after a certain amount of time.


You did a good job of reminding us all to keep pushing ourselves here. It can be challenging at times to keep the fire burning because we encounter challenging circumstances in life, which can make us feel depressed and negatively impact our actions. Nevertheless, we should make every effort to maintain the spirit here, and beginners should continue learning no matter how challenging or tedious it may get. Good things are ahead.

The mentioned senior rank members are actually looking out for the board, they mean well for the board and we all know spamming is against the rules of the forum and since the board is part of the forum so it’s only right to discourage spamming here. Regardless of how low rank members feel they should learn to adapt to the ways of the forum since the forum have been in existence even before they created an account they have to abide by it’s ways.

The board is currently growing so it is normal to experience higher spam rates than the usual so and it’s the senior ranks members to look after the board. Newbies should not be discouraged by this statements because if they are used to spamming the local board they will find it difficult to create quality posts and grow so they should take everything as a motivation and reduce their spam rate.  

In life people try to discourage you from everything you want to do probably because they don’t like it shouldn’t weigh you down but rather motivate you and make you stronger. Some advice may sound discouraging but doesn’t mean we should shy away from them, use it to build yourself it maybe beneficial more than you imagined.

It was a disappointing result despite the excellent performance from Napoli, to me i will say they were just unlucky not to score they had more chances and they were dominant throughout but they couldn’t utilize their chances and they were punished in the end. Empoli score in the 90th minute from a substitute player who came on and losing the match only shows that Napoli lacks a goal scorer and they miss Victor Osimehn.
