721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never regret anything on: November 27, 2018, 02:11:59 AM
In crypto currency, Never regret anything.
No point in looking back and saying “only if I had done that.”  Or if only I had sold earlier, instead
Realize you made the best decision in good faith, for every reason that made sense or did not make sense  at that time.
Now it is time to let it go.
Focus on here and now.
That’s where success lives in crypto currency

True, there is no use if we think we should buying bitcoin in 2009 and sell it in 2017.
This is cryptocurrency, the value of crypto is keep increasing from year to year because many peoples buying and selling, not just holding.
The important thing for now is how we can take this opportunity and find a good coin to buy, so we won't regret it later if the coin value increasing in the future.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Attention! Panic sale!!! on: November 27, 2018, 01:52:12 AM
During the last week I bought coins and they almost immediately fell by 10-15%, and today early in the morning I saw how they fell by another 15-20%. How long will it last?., and whether I should sell for what I have. I wouldn't want to be left with empty pockets. Sad

If you don't want to be left with empty pocket, you should sell your coins when it goes below 10%.
There are 2 kind of holders, long time holder and short time holder.
If you are a short time holder, you should have limit price when to sell your coin, but if you a long time holders, you don't need to worry about this price.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with Bitcoin made easier on: November 26, 2018, 01:48:24 AM
Hey guys,

I have seen this: https://www.lifewire.com/big-sites-that-accept-bitcoin-payments-3485965 recently, and I think that there is really cool that we can pay in different places with bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.
Do you know other places that allow this?
I think there is a really bright future for online coins in the future.
Where do you see payments allowed with coins soon?

For some peoples, paying with bitcoin is a complicated things to do although they only need to make btc wallet using apps on their phone.
I think it is because they don't have enough knowledge about cryptocurrency.
They need to know more about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, so they can using it with ease.
But yes, paying things with btc and cryptocurrency makes your process easier.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin investors more focus than altcoin investors? on: November 26, 2018, 01:36:09 AM
Hi, I'm a crypto developer doing dapps and blockchain-related software products.
I have found some interesting difference between bitcoin investors and altcoin investors.
It seems like bitcoin holders(like you guys) are more focus when discussing news and crypto-related issues.
Altcoin holders are more...how do I put this....more impatient and cannot focus on any subject for more than 3 days.
What do you think of this phenomenon?

I think because altcoin holders are always looking for a new coins that have potential to bring profit for them,
so they often to change the coin subject when in discussion. But not all altcoin holders are like that. Some of them are loyal holders, serious to
discussing something regarding their coins.
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is that possible? on: November 24, 2018, 03:06:07 PM
In my recent bounty participation, all is good and i have been paid in all my hardwork. The tokens that i hardly earned is already in my ethereum wallet and the coin is already traded in forkdelta. But suddenly the telegram channel of the bounty shut down and also the forkdelta is delisting the coin. My question is, is this possible that even the traded coin can be end up a scam? as a bounty hunter it’s not a big loss but i’m pitty on the part of the investors that nagging that they are being scam. How?

Well, that is very possible to happening. Forkdelta exchange is not the indicator of the success project.
I think if the project listed their coins in big exchanges like binance or bitfinex, it can be the indicator of success project then.
Both investors and hunters must do their due diligence with longer time, so they won't end up being scammed.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of altcoins ? on: November 24, 2018, 02:53:20 PM
What advantages do altcoins have that differs it from bitcoin ?

Yes altcoin is of course, different from bitcoin. The algorithm of btc mining is PoW, while the other coins have PoS algo.
The blocktime, transaction speed, fees, and total supply are different too. But they are still same, cryptocurrencies.
I prefer to using altcoins because it has faster blocktime speed for doing transactions.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we make Crypto go viral? on: November 23, 2018, 03:06:57 AM
Now, crypto is a currency people can choose to use. They don't have to. We need to build it as good as possible so that people who choose it, can. And those of us who want and have time and resources, focus on building good showcases, demonstrating that it works. Is rapid adoption that necessary? We need to be able to learn as we scale upwards. Right now, we're in the middle of the development after having learnt that "on-chain isn't the be-all end-all scaling solution". It was a fight getting here, and in the end the big-blockers went and created their own coin, which I think was good for all parties. Has it gone viral already, in a way?

I think cryptocurrency has already gone viral last year, at the end of 2017, and was causing the price sky-rocketing very much.
But now, maybe many crypto newcomers already sold their coins and left crypto because this red market.
If we want to make crypto more popular, we need to make crypto as a regular currency in our world.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why deceiving others? on: November 22, 2018, 06:02:42 AM
I always believe that everything that goes up will surely have is way down. And crypto makes me believe that things(price) can goes up and down and again and again.....

But why do people keep deceiving themselves by telling others to believe that this is the best time to buy? And what i think is that most of them never bought any because I'm much they also made thesame statements when Eth is at 500$-300$-200$ and now way below that.

Tell me what preaching will those people have for does who bought at $1200 hun?

They are not deceiving themselves, but they told us now is not the time to sell the coin because the market is crashed.
Although this time is not the best time to buy, it will be better to buying at this price than before, because the price has gone much lower than before.
The peoples who bought coins before this crash are more suffering than peoples buying at this time.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from the fullest dip on: November 22, 2018, 05:44:35 AM
The crash will teach alot of people a bitter lesson and they will learn from it,
they will learn the following

1. Never to love a coin

2. Never to be greedy

3. To cashout on profit always

4. To stop following hype

5. To know that what goes up must come down etc

Being greedy is ok sometimes, when peoples afraid to buy because the price crash, you must take a chance to buy greedy.
But sometimes, it is wise to keep calm and monitoring the market condition before doing any greedy actions.
This bearish market will continues and kicking more peoples with weak hands out of cryptocurrency world.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies must be careful on: November 21, 2018, 02:21:31 AM
Recently there have been several news about Etherum falling or bitcoin dumping or more still an altcoin dying
The truth is newbies are been deceived to sell cheap or buy expensive

Newbies need to work and trust their research power and not be intimidated by any news

If we only hear from the other people's news without our own research, we may can be deceived easily by some peoples.
Always do your own research before take an action in cryptocurrency, because there are scammers and fraudsters.
Even newbie will become hard to manipulate, if they are always doing their due diligence.
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I joined at the wrong time? on: November 21, 2018, 01:50:14 AM

I am newbie and some of my friends who are already into crypto market say I am late. This isn't the time to start investments and I must refrain and just research for later.

Do you think the same? Is it really not the time to invest as a beginner?

You are never late to join crypto because crypto value still able to growing when other peoples come join and using crypto as their currnecy.
The current market condition is red, but it is good to join because you can buy many coins with cheap price.
Always buying when the price on the bottom, not on the peak.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how long will everyone can wait? on: November 21, 2018, 01:39:09 AM
Since january we all experience the red down lines
everyone experience this how long can you still hold your coins
and still hope for the best , are we waiting for another 3 years to reach the top
or we are now heading back to upward lines

Even now, the market situation not going better than last months in this year.
I think you cannot hold for long time if you cannot let your money lost. Always be able to afford lose, so you can hold for long time without the urgency of the returns of your profit investment. 3 years is a long time range, i guess at least we need to wait just another 1 year for market recovery.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most frustrating thing about crypto on: November 21, 2018, 01:29:01 AM
And that is exchanges who are keeping coins/tokens hostile for a long period of time. When I deposit or withdrawal from an exchange often times it just keeps it in pending status. Now I'm waiting for an idex deposit, 4 hours passed. My worst case was a withdrawal at cryptopia which took 30 days.

Crypto is not ready to be adopted by the masses. Lots of suicides would be the result...

I think your case is not the most frustrating about cryptocurrency. The most frustrating moment in crypto for me is, when the crypto price falling too much in the market, causing you doubt to buying coins again or no. Look at the market price now, it getting worse in recent days.
The cryptocurrency value is too volatile, that is the most frustrating thing at least for me.
734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did I lose money for Bitcoin? on: November 19, 2018, 01:47:39 AM
I started researching and investing in Bitcoin from February 2018, at that time 1 BTC was priced over 8k $, I bought 20BTC and then the price started rising. When looking at Bitcoin price charts in December 2017 I was very happy and thought I was lucky to invest properly! Then 2 months in March 2018, 1BTC was priced at over $ 11k, I was happy and decided to buy another 50BTC, I thought I would be a millionaire! But not! Then the price of BTC started to fall and I lost a lot of money! I was scared and did not understand why the price of BTC decreased! As well as buying BTC, I was fomo, invested a lot of money but did not understand what I was doing. Then I calm down and explore the market, and I realize that everything has its causes and rules! I started the trader and gradually recovered the lost money! I know a lot of people like me, invest their money without knowing what they are doing! I advise people to research thoroughly before bringing money to the market! And according to my personal opinion, the upcoming Bitcoin will drop to about $ 5k before rising again! invest your money wisely, it is your decision! good luck guys!

I think you made mistake in the past, you bought more btc when the price was going up in march 2018. When the price was rising, you should sell your coins because you may wouldn't have such chance again later in short time. Always play safe than greed, it will keep your portfolio in profit, not loss.
735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Power Consumption on: November 19, 2018, 01:28:45 AM
Power consumption of bitcoin mining keeps going up. And will continue to go up as bitcoin usage and price increases. This have harsh enviromental implications. Is there a way to reduce power consumption or are there plans to switch to a more eco-friendly way of mining bitcoin?

The power consumption of mining bitcoin is quite much, not only bitcoin but mining other altcoins as well.
But it is nothing to compare with other heavy industries in the world, they consume more power than mining cryptocurrency.
Some mining farms actually using an eco-friendly resources to make electricity power for their mining farm.
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what a great month on: November 17, 2018, 04:52:12 PM
how do you feel the market hopes there is changes now, because some months ago there are some person's(me) here in this forum whom has been worried about the market price but today the market is really up... $245.15, so hopefully there is change in the market.

what do you think?

What a great month, the cryptocurrency price in the market even going more deep in this month.
The market was going up indeed, but only temporary because we can see now it worse than before.
I think we cannot expect a good things happening in cryptocurrency price in this year 2018, hopefully everything will changing in 2019.
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holders bonus on: November 17, 2018, 04:43:02 PM
Do you guys really fall for the so call bonus
For me i think is a way of tying holders down for not to sell their coin and probably want to buy more so as to receive more bonus why they start selling out to people.

I have once feel in a trap of one Japanese project call POSICOIN, which make me to hold their coin worth $800 in the name of so call Holders intensive and later turns out to be scam project they're no where to be found by now..

Or what do you guys think?

You can make some profit or bonus if you holding some coins actually, but you must take a look how much you will get.
If they offer you very big profit, you must doubt them. There are many companies offer investors huge bonus, then later they turned to a scam project.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Acceptance. on: November 16, 2018, 04:57:37 AM
If bitcoin were to be accepted, on the condition that it should be regulated. Do you think it should be done, disregarding its decentralized nature?

Look the bitcoin ETF now, it has to be regulated by SEC to get the approval. If the regulations in bitcoin is created to protect the holders from scam or fraud activities, then it will be alright. The regulation about bitcoin should not limiting the users of btc from doing something good using bitcoin.
Regulation should bring benefits to both parties, regulators and the holders of bitcoin.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop calling Bitcoin ''stable'' it's not. on: November 15, 2018, 11:54:01 AM
Low volatility doesn't mean stable. Bitcoin has experienced periods of low volatility many times, however this doesn't mean bitcoin is stable, not even close. We all know it doesn't take much for bitcoin to explode, either up or down. That's absolutely still in the cards, I mean everyone is waiting for the next bull run and some people are waiting for a big crash.

It's like saying, this bomb is stable because it hasn't exploded yet.

Yes, the bitcoin price is like the other altcoins, volatile in the market. But i think bitcoin is more stable than altcoin price.
Few months ago when altcoins going down with significant difference, btc price is only going down for few percentage.
But yes, all of the cryptocurrency price is unstable in the market, often to fluctuates.
740  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason Why BTC will Dump to 2.5K$ on: November 15, 2018, 11:38:13 AM
If Mining BTC Even with free electricity cannot pay the mining equipment in a year, that will be the doomsday of BTC, 2000$-2500$ is the limit.

Do you think btc price keep same for 1 year at the bottom ? Some miners know when they mining profit is low, they just don't sell their coin yet.
And you know, when the price of btc keep falling, many miners will stop mining, but not all of the miners. The survived miners will keep mining because they know the difficult of bitcoin will drastically falling due many miners stop, and they can earn more btc from mining.
