I got 2 payouts yesterday and today of 0.0001 BTC each but I worry on how will I receive the principal amount within 7 days ? (i,e. 0.005 BTC + 0.0007 BTC) I know I'll get 0.0007 BTC after 7 days @0.0001 BTC/day but will the principal be paid on the last day ?

DISCLAIMER : I'm not promoting this site by any means to anyone. All the payouts talked above are from the giveaway that OP initiated. So no money will be lost/gained if the site goes offline or if OP goes AWOL! Hence, you must use your own brain : caveat emptor!

That's only for statistics. You can change the filter at the bottom of the table to show your work for all time or since last reset. The reset does not actually remove any work and has no effect on payouts. It works similar to a trip meter in a car.

You get paid when blocks are found. Read more here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=27062.msg2769824#msg2769824

Thank you for your prompt reply. But is there any way I can see how many shares are contributed by me vs the whole pool for a particular block ? Just like Antpool did here => https://www.dropbox.com/s/10nivr4ld72vho8/2015-10-18%2013.27.30.jpg?dl=0

Since I mined at the rate of 880 Gh/s (average) on bitminter, constantly for 4 hours and then stopped it, will this be another reason for not getting any rewards of those shares till now ? Or, haven't a single block been mined until now ?
724  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bitminter bitcoin mining pool - Pays TxFees, Merged Mining, Fair PPLNS rewards on: October 18, 2015, 07:20:59 AM
Will the share rates become zero and no reward is given if I click on "Work counts reset" button on my active worker? Incidentally I clicked on it while hashing and till now didn't get any rewards for those shares which were reset before! But, fortunately I got rewards of the Namecoin shares only! OP, please throw some light on this!

726  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 17, 2015, 04:36:56 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

I will always go with Bitcoin. Similar to bitcoin gold is also limited, so you also cannot predict it's price after 10 years (maybe it'll take more time than bitcoin to observe a drastic change). I think the demand of bitcoin is increasing day by day and will continue to increase eventually when it's reserve will near to an end! Moreover, gold has no value other than being used for ornamental purposes! Whereas bitcoin is a totally different case Wink

729  Economy / Economics / Re: Will You buy a pizza at 10,000 sat? on: October 17, 2015, 09:20:03 AM
I don't know whether you'll make any profit by selling a whole sized pizza at 10,000 satoshis only!

According to Dominos' current rate in my country, these are the prices of a full sized pizza in BTC (excluding transaction fees) :-

Veg :

1. Regular sized - 0.003414 BTC
2. Medium sized - 0.006827 BTC
3. Large sized - 0.013093 BTC

Non-veg :

1. Regular sized - 0.005405 BTC
2. Medium sized - 0.010810 BTC
3. Large sized - 0.018775 BTC

Now I guess you got the idea Cheesy
730  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in Stocks With Bitcoin on: October 16, 2015, 09:42:52 PM
You can try out HaoBTC (haobtc.com). It is a Beijing-based Bitcoin company incorporated in June, 2014. Although they are pretty new, they have been paying out interest hourly without fail for ten months now. The interest payment, which has been consistently staying above 9% p.a [adjusted to 6%], is generated by their large-scale, high ROI mining operations located in Western Sichuan. Their Cheap off-grid hydropower also helped in increasing the interest rates. You can check out their threads here and here.

Please note that, I'm not sponsoring this site. It's your duty to check thoroughly and use your own brain: caveat emptor.

Good luck.

I don't get exactly what you mean with a slider? You mean if the cursor is in the corner the display fades in? I am not into Win 8 so i don't kno what you mean exactly.

Check how he's moving the cursor on upper right hand corner and how the start menu is hovering up on the screen after that => https://youtu.be/B4E0tC6Bj_M?t=39s  It would be great if you add this feature, like hovering upwards or leftwards (Remember to avoid doing it on upper left corner, lower left corner, obviously upper right corner and lower right corner because Windows 8 has certain functions on these positions! But you are free to add it anywhere in Windows 10 as there are no such features present and I have Windows 10 BTW Grin )
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Best Marijuana Coin? on: October 14, 2015, 07:34:16 AM
I think Cannabis Coin is the best choice since they are backed by "Marijuana Medical" dispensaries. Moreover, they are running “Yes We CANN” movement which is about medical marijuana dispensaries and shop owners that participate in providing safe, affordable, and quality medicine utilizing Cannabis Coin as payment. This movement is a way for dispensary owners to show their appreciation to their patients by donating some medication into the “CANNdy” inventory. So I think it would run for a long time Smiley

First of all thank you for your tip!

I'm already working on a way to pick every text color you want.

The suggestion with the taskbar is nice, i'll take a look if it's possible with java. Sadly there are some native restrictions.

Can you make a slider like display for that ? So that, whenever I hover my mouse there it slides in and shows me the details? (Just like Windows 8's start function) If adding it to the taskbar is a problem, then you can probably try this one out. And this will have no clutter issues too Wink Moreover if you do this you need to add a background template or a "tile" like display so that the details are clearly seen.

The price notification is made in the following way: You set a price maximum and minimum. If the price is above or below the certain amount you get notified every update of the price (every minute). If you don't want to have a notification every minute you may think about setting other limits than before. I want to keep the notifications as fast as possible. So a 15min cooldown is only an option and nothing to have always. But it's easy to do so i'm going to add this little checkbox and textfield(to set a specific interval not only 15 minutes). But should the notification only be diabled for the one that appeared? (E.g.: If the price rises the up notification is disabled for 15min, but if the price drops during this there is a notification or not?)

Yes! You can set a checkbox regarding the 15 minutes interval. Moreover you can add another function where if the price goes down during that interval it'll notify me ASAP.

I hope to get your next version soon Smiley
736  Bitcoin / Project Development / ▁ ▂ ▄ ▅ ▆ Review of the block announcer application ▆ ▅ ▄ ▂ ▁ on: October 13, 2015, 09:24:22 PM
OP, I have just now tested the V1.3 of your Bitcoin Block and Price Announcer module. My overall experience was great Cheesy

But here are some suggestions to make this application super awesome:

1. The display positions of "Block Number", "Block Time", "Block Age" and "Price" on the upper left corner is somewhat cluttering that area of my desktop and also hiding the icons present there like these...

Thus, the better position would be to place them on the task-bar, beside the clock and recent notifications (Also white font would be nice for black task-bar)....

2. "The Price Increase/Decrease" notifier is popping up every now and then (after every 30-35 seconds), which is kinda annoying while thinking and writing something or surfing! It should notify at least after 15 minutes. (I guess within 15 minutes the price won't increase/decrease much)
Or it must only notify as soon as the price increases/decreases. (So for steady price it won't notify)

Since I liked your work, here's a small tip from my side => https://blockchain.info/tx/f0f759fb48c8b3b370f314c7e782b2f2c99d067bff4346e7340db46203f20854 Cheesy

Hope to see those modifications in next update Smiley
737  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Selling] *Crypto Imperator Bitcoin Physical coins! Unique design! 10.000 Bits on: October 13, 2015, 01:07:12 PM
-Is this something you use as an "everyday" cold wallet?? Seems like a pain to reveal the private key every time you want to spend some BTC

Obviously I'll use them as my cold wallet and would like to redeem some if I need them anytime! That's why I would like to buy more tamper evident hologram stickers from OP. (OP, please pm me regarding this Smiley )

-The amount on the coin is 10,000 bits not 10 bits. If this was only 10 bits, the DIY version and Normal versions would cost the same.  (10 bits is 1/5 of 1 cent)

Yes, but it won't matter much because they are both DIYs, so they are unfunded.

-Hold it. You got more than one coin. Use one and save the rest! Cheesy

I would like to divide my fortune cookies in halves and store in both of them. In case one gets physically stolen, I have a backup Wink
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Client - 20 Weeks Behind on: October 13, 2015, 11:10:36 AM
If you have a low bandwidth plan then I would suggest you to try installing MultiBit client and transfer your bitcoins from previous, unsynced wallet.dat to your new client and let it sync. It actually takes less time to sync because it is a thin client (it does not download the full blockchain).

Thin clients do not validate transactions, they just assume that the longest blockchain only has valid transactions. Moreover, thin clients do not help the network. Instead, they rely on full nodes (like Bitcoin-Qt) to do the heavy lifting.

Now if you have a good bandwidth and want to contribute bitcoin by running a full 40GB node, then go ahead with Bitcoin-qt Wink

P.S There should have been a thread where bitcoiners, who want to use the newly downloaded core client, can seperately download the full blockchain in a compressed form (I think it can be compressed upto 20GB), unzip it, compile it with the client and then do the last syncing and most importantly, that file should be updated weekly. I think a legendary member should open a thread like that! Maybe theymos if you have time? Smiley
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Universal-Wallet] Coinomi (BIP44 compatible) on: October 13, 2015, 09:31:49 AM
It would be great if these features are added where I can import my paper wallet having my private keys in these formats: WIF, WIFC, HEX, B64, B6, MINI, BIP38. Also add the feature where I can import my "brain wallets" too. Have a look into https://www.bitaddress.org to know more about the above mentioned formats.
BTW, this wallet is a complete solution for having multi-wallets alongwith the inter-coins exchange via Shapeshift! I really appreciate it Cheesy
740  Economy / Collectibles / ▁ ▂ ▄ ▅ ▆ Bought 2 Fantastic DIY Physical Bitcoins + Their Review ▆ ▅ ▄ ▂ ▁ on: October 13, 2015, 09:09:07 AM
I have received 2 DIY coins just now Cheesy

Overall the coins are sleek, lustrous and slighly heavier than most other physical coins (due to the zinc alloy)! Also the colour of hologram sticker matches with that of the coin and feels more prominent and solid. But I don't know whether they will rust if I use it with my bare hands (for normal usage I, generally won't like to wear cotton gloves everytime I tend to reveal it's private key for spending Tongue ) I need OP's view regarding this.

Also it would be more nice if the design of the DIY coins are slighly different than the funded ones because most of the DIY buyers generally won't store only 10,000 bits in them and if that denomination part is removed, the size of the bitcoin logo could have been eventually made larger Smiley

But I kinda love the look of the coins and feel more secured of the weight it imparts on my hand Tongue

Here are some pictures of them.. (feeling scared of opening and holding them on my bare hands until OP confirms that they won't rust much)

Thanks CryptoImperator Smiley
