Thanks for your hard work zoidberg. This is really starting to look like a decent coin. Btw will you be part of the SuperNET once it's up?

Then I guess you don't understand how big whale thinking.  Cash out is easy for small player but hard for big whales.
They are willing dump at much lower price in some situation. Just like btcd.   Btcd worth 10000btc. But all buy order sum up is less than 50 btc.
You know my mean.
I hope this whole project is not designed for btcd holders to cash out.
Nxt holders also willing to cash out at much lower price. But btcd is a better example.

BTCD whales are little cute dolphins compared to monster Bitcoin holders.
If a whale invest massively in SuperNET, he will be forced to cash out later from SuperNET to NXT (on the asset exchange) then to BTC and then to FIAT.
So it doesn't make sense to use SuperNET as an exit for big volume.

token will be traded on bter. That's where big whales may dump.

Btc and cash whales could easily cash out anytime anywhere. So they not likely dump soon.  Nxt whale may dump a large volume. Btcd whale may willing to dump at lower price.

The project sounds interesting. But the structure design of ico, is really a mess.
I hope this just a design careless instead of on purpose.

Would not make much sense due to slippage. Might be better to do a direct whale NXT to whale BTC/Fiat broker trade.
724  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering <Fair | Quick | Low Interest> Loans! Up to 1 BTC! [No-Collateral] on: September 09, 2014, 09:34:48 AM
I would like to borrow.
0.6 BTC.

I can do a repay in one week. 5% interest?

Sure no problem. Which stable altcoin would you like to provide 120% collateral in?
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinDark (BTCD)--Sha-256/PoW-PoS hybrid/Bounty Opportunities on: September 09, 2014, 07:01:50 AM
aehm, any1 have the guts to arbitrage from cryptsy?  Cheesy
After weeks, they finally just cancelled my withdraw request
If you are able to predict prices 3 weeks ahead then I highly suggest cryptsy for arbitraging, unless it is for more than 20 BTCD, those are blocked

How much btcd do you have stuck there on cryptsy? Is there any hints of weird behavior going on other than incompetence? Did they screw up somehow and don't have the btcd to cover depositers funds? How much of the total btcd do they hold? What is the significance of the btcd funds you have stuck on bter and their importance in relation to supernet?

Serious questions.
I have 4000 BTCD in cryptsy. The only way to get it out seems to be to sell it and withdraw the BTC and repurchase
I certainly dont have time for 200 withdraw requests

It appears to be total incompetence. I estimate that they have less than 10% of BTCD, probably only about 3%

The expected percentage of BTCD versus the SuperNET funding is 2% that is in bter. As soon as we get Trustees for BTCD, I will setup a regular sweep whenever the exposure gets too big

James

Bought around 1k couple of weeks ago at 9k and withdrew immediately without any problems. All my bots are also having no issues whatsoever withdrawing different cryptos (including BTCD) over the API to trusted addresses.

727  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering <Fair | Quick | Low Interest> Loans! Up to 1 BTC! [No-Collateral] on: September 09, 2014, 06:49:28 AM
Hi

What is a loan you can provide based of my trust and history?

I tried other threads with no avail since lenders were awaiting for other loans to be paid first.

Purpose is an altcoin market entry. Anything under 0.25 I will not consider taking. Length is max 19 days for full assurance.
I will consider interest up to 20%.

Thank you

I can do 0.25 with 110% collateral in a stable altcoin.

I'm only requesting a loan because I have no access to my wallets, being out of country on vacation. Therefore I can't offer collateral.
Thanks anyway.

Can you maybe then provide a 0.10 or 0.15 loan without collateral to be paid in full plus 10-20% interest the 21st September?

No.
728  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering <Fair | Quick | Low Interest> Loans! Up to 1 BTC! [No-Collateral] on: September 08, 2014, 07:33:06 PM
I did not unreasonably complain. Although I did pay back late.

I was hoping you could do this for meh :c I did pay back extra interest for being late, not like you didn't get anything out of it.

Sorry but I can't do this loan. Maybe you have more luck at one of my colleagues.

Yeah mine had the same problem. I just restarted the wallet and it was fine after a couple of minutes. Try to check if your routing to the nodes is fux0red. You can check the IPs in the config.

Marking those as defaulted since they haven't repaid nor responded to messages or shown any other sign to repay in the future.

DEFAULTED | Laboboy31 | 0.03@5%/7d EXTENDED | Repay 0.039 until 09/03/2014

Hey do you remember me? I took a loan out once before a while ago. I'm wondering if I could get .02 for a week, .026 repaid?

Certainly not. You were late and complained unreasonably.

Bin bei allem long.

733  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: September 08, 2014, 02:03:10 PM

734  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Hot Coins on: September 08, 2014, 01:59:11 PM

frage: was ist supernet?

Smiley

Best buy opportunity we will ever see in our lives.

best buying opportunity was when you joined this community, since November it was a good selling opportunity...

I meant in the future not the past.

Wait till ~333-353 floor around end of month. Then restock.

Open for junior member?

Nope. Only Hero slots left.

I didn't have Internet access approximately 4 days . Today I read the content of this a few days. unfortunately a group of investors Cleverly used of the opportunity to sell Tokens at prices Higher than Buy Price .

Of course I agree this error was preventable by ICO's organisers , but I think Buyers are the main culprit because when an individual makes an investment must have complete information about the investment.

all information existed in the OP and is repeated in this topic over again .
What is duty of an investor to keep your money ?
Did you buy anything that even without obtaining the necessary information ?

Now if you do equitable judgment, James is a righteous and merciful man , because he claimed compensation for the loss of your mistakes , but You did cheeky attack him , and you did provided the necessary conditions for trolls and FUDers Attacks.

warning: do not investing in anything that You don't have enough information.

I'm sorry for my bad English

In addition, there will be an 'early bird' discount of 15% for the first investors. This amount will slowly decrease to zero over the next two weeks. Pricing will be adjusted automatically on BTER but manually on the NXT Asset Exchange, hence may not be as smooth.

The price periodically increases automatically and is as planned and explained long before the ICO started. The earlier you buy the cheaper it is.

Depends on the development of NXT/BTCD price really.

while we are having the childish postings, I got an interesting comment that indicated some misunderstanding and I think I made a good clarification.

Quote
Im happy and grateful to be part of something that might be as big as bitcoin itself
I think you are seeing just the one part of UNITY
Is not bitcoin a crypto? The crypto?
Of course the bitcoiners they are laughing at all the altcoins looking as snot kittens https://nxtforum.org/index.php?topic=1437.msg96376#msg96376 so we must become one big SuperNET to be the size matching the bitcoin. Then we are easily to convince bitcoiners to also be UNITY as each coin is still active, thriving as part of SuperNET. It is only much easier to make the long distance phone call. So, once you are getting this ability to call anybody in the world with few buttons, then this is very hard to lose.

I ask a question: How many people who are in the altcoins are never using the bitcoin?

So, you see, there is no difference between the altcoin peoples and the bitcoin peoples, except for some small bitcoin only guys. They are maybe always in their own island, but this is OK. SuperNET is about choice. if they dont want to make the long distance calls, they never have to click the "Enter Supernet" button. The SuperNET it is only a way for everybody to connect. it is not some monster to eat a coin!

So, the SuperNET it is just a copy of the internet for the websites, but the internet for the coins. A website joining the internet it is not losing anything, it only gains a global audience. A website that is running with no connection, this is the crypto without connection to the SuperNET.

All coins, in fact any software will be able to connect to the SuperNET API and to all the other peoples connected to it. It is not needed to be inside the SuperNET core to be able to use the SuperNET.

Now I hope you are understanding better the SuperNET

James

A little bit over the top at some points but overall a good writeup lol
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 06, 2014, 07:41:59 PM
James,

can you put YOUR current NXT AE price somewhere clear to see? Like the first post of this thread in big green bold numbers or something. It's hard to know what the "official" price currently is, just observing the NXT AE.

Thanks
