I'm trying to find hot Japanese girl photos that aren't NSFW but it's getting really difficult now Cheesy
7202  Other / Off-topic / Re: iTunes rip people off! on: June 23, 2013, 01:23:45 PM
Cheesy Where have you been? I spotted this kind of thing years ago and it's not just itunes that do it, I've found with anime in particular they have a habit of doing that. You pay a huge amount just for a couple of episodes when it first comes out only to have a complete set come out a few months later for much cheaper. Here's a tip, whenever you want to buy something wait a few months until after they've released for the price to drop or what you can buy to become more reasonable.

I'm 99% certain they do this specifically to take advantage of the desperate people who just want to get the thing right away, if you want to watch it right away but don't want to pay the outrageous release date prices, download it from bittorrent so you know what you're in for and if it's good enough pay for it later this works for me the majority of the time and saves a lot of money with everything, not just t.v shows. This is just a theory but I reckon the fact that you can essentially preview everything with Bittorrent right now in full is why the major entertainment industries hate filesharing so much since it takes away their advantage over people.
7203  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold as money on: June 23, 2013, 01:17:06 PM
I have a better idea, use physical gold for local transactions with real people you actually know and use Bitcoin for international, problem solved Cheesy
7204  Other / Off-topic / Re: Could you watch a movie for every day of the year? on: June 23, 2013, 01:10:07 PM
lol! Yup what foxpup said, I don't think I could stand watching that many movies all year because a lot of them are terrible or just boring.
7205  Other / Meta / Re: franky1 / tortious interference on: June 23, 2013, 01:07:53 PM
It's amazing how many proponents of free speech immediately start hating it when they actually get it, being for free speech means that you accept the fact that people will say things you don't like as well as say things you agree with, of course that doesn't necessarily mean you have to listen to it either, it's when you try to silence the other person from speaking publicly that it gets pretty pathetic.
7206  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's talk about how hot Asian girls are. on: June 22, 2013, 04:07:03 PM
I said BOOBS not ass Cheesy
7207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Allow dust transactions in Bitcoin? (5430 satoshis or less) on: June 22, 2013, 04:02:16 PM
While I don't know a huge amount about the technical stuff behind this if the 'dust' transactions are what I think they are then I think they should be kept, my reasoning being that one of Bitcoins main features are that it is easy to divide, if you restrict that then it becomes less useful and convenient. Then again, I could be entirely wrong and this is something completely different to what I'm thinking off, I was thinking that the restrictions were about people sending 0.000005 BTC amongst themselves or something.

As proof that its real, I would be willing to get it checked and verified by any local jeweler of choice here, if a interested buyer wants.  I am in a relatively smaller but highly progressive area, so there are many and have a long standing reputation.

That would probably be the best thing to do if you want to sell it online and get a receipt, you can then scan it or something and post it up here. By the way this is a shameless plug but I wouldn't mind making a ring/necklace for a much lower price for you Cheesy I'd just need the size for the ring and a necklace is a lot easier. I'd only charge for the materials and a bit of extra markup. Nothing at all like what those Jewellery stores you went to would charge but I guess going by that bracelet their stuff is a lot more complicated.
7209  Other / Off-topic / Re: 3D Printed Shogun Slug on: June 22, 2013, 01:11:02 PM
these bullets actually work too they aren't just talking bullshit,
Of course they work. A bullet is just a roughly cylindrical object the same diameter as the gun barrel, that gets propelled towards the target by the force of the gunpowder exploding; it's kinda hard to screw that up. Literally anything that'll fit down the gun barrel will work (to some degree) as a bullet. Of course, bullets are completely useless without gunpowder. Why are you getting so excited about this?

lol! Tongue What's to stop people from putting gunpowder in the bullets? That said I get where you're coming from, these are more like rubber bullets than anything particularly threatening at the moment and I get excited about anything that scares power hungry people Cheesy
7210  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safe To Save BTC Wallet Backup On Smartphone? on: June 22, 2013, 12:23:54 PM
Just put it on a cheap, difficult to lose laptop, that's what I'd do, anything smaller would be too easy for people to run off with or disappear.
7211  Other / Off-topic / Re: Wait, mufa is a crazy gun nutjob shithead? on: June 22, 2013, 11:59:07 AM
While I don't know the whole story of this argument I can immediately see from your attitude why people would get pissed off and derail a topic, too often in life I see people establish a hypothetical ultimatum and expect to be able to just win that way and walk away smug ( My dad does this a lot and it's really annoying lol Cheesy ) but this is the internet and you clearly got more than you bargained for. I myself believe in self-defence completely and the defence of property, but you're walking an extremely dangerous road when you think you can ever justify murder and if an enemy has given up or you've stopped them in their tracks that's what it is. This kind of thinking where you can shoot down a person without worrying, never mind if they're invading your house is part of the reason is why people are so scared of gun owners and I actually understand that point. It does make you look like an undisciplined psychopathic murderer rather than someone who actually cares about defending their family and their homes, the problem with the people thinking this is they think this is they seem to think it only applies to people with guns.

I'd also like to point out that this is the exactly how people in the U.S government and in western governments in general tend to think, the only difference is they want a monopoly over it and believe no one should have the right to do this except them.
7212  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best 3d Architectural Software? on: June 22, 2013, 11:44:28 AM
Yeah, I do hear that people tend to use 3DS Max for that kind of stuff and I think it's just the way it's built that people like. You just need to pick something that suits you the best, I've used 3D Software before and I definitely prefer Maya. I even got into arguments with the people on my A Level course about it and was extremely close to just telling them to fuck off for having a go at me over my choice of software, particularly when I did more detail and stuff than most of the people there.
7213  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your Ideal Woman's Height & Measurements? on: June 22, 2013, 11:42:27 AM
LOL Amph! Yeah I don't know how anyone could be that picky about height and stuff and no offence to any of the women here ( I swear *cowers in fear* ) but I think you're asking a bit much for a woman with big breasts AND a tight hole with the amount of attention girls with big breasts get no matter where they go.
7214  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you hesitate or dont feel like to share your electronic gadgets on: June 22, 2013, 11:40:20 AM
My sister recently wanted to borrow my laptop for about half an hour. It was horrible, I felt like I was lending her a kidney.

Oh god your sister? Did she even know how to use a computer properly? Yeah this is another one of my fears where they end up accidentally breaking it and I lose all my data Tongue
7215  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ingress Faction Choice on: June 21, 2013, 08:54:15 PM
Oh yeah, that game, forgot it was still about.
7216  Economy / Goods / Re: 5 ct Dia - 14k Gold - Bracelet - ~$9k USD - Willing to work (2nd post) on: June 21, 2013, 08:11:09 PM
Holy crap, 9k? If you don't mind me asking was the store trustworthy? I'm a learning Jeweller and I've hard all sorts about casting pieces and the like being developed really cheaply. For the record I couldn't at all afford that bracelet because I'm just a student really but I'd be interested to know if it was hand-made etc. as I hope you haven't been ripped off. My reasoning being is like Dalkore said even if you've got .925 metal it shouldn't amount to much more than a couple of thousand, you've probably been charged some outrageous markup in the past.

I'd just take the £6k offer if I were you because I bet it's going to be much lower elsewhere or people just won't buy it because you don't really have much proof it's genuine gold/silver that you've posted up.
7217  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how are you doin' today? on: June 21, 2013, 04:53:18 PM
I almost set myself on fire today soldering together a gemstone setting!

Note to self and others: Always, always double check your blowtorch parts are screwed firmly together before turning it on
7218  Economy / Speculation / Re: I believe panic selling on Mt. Gox will ensue within 2 weeks on: June 21, 2013, 11:22:07 AM
They're ramping up the money printing again and getting desperate, I'm pretty sure Bitcoins just going to either stay the same or go even higher, even on CNBC they're talking about how gold is at the same lows it was before the crash happened.
7219  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you hesitate or dont feel like to share your electronic gadgets on: June 21, 2013, 11:19:46 AM
I think I'm even worse than I was before now because of course I've got Bitcoins stored there, then there's all my personal information, work, NDA level work that someone could steal and of course the porn Tongue

I'd be happy to lend them a laptop or whatever that I didn't use often if I knew they were trustworthy though.
7220  Other / Off-topic / Re: Video games: Physical or digital media what do you prefer? on: June 21, 2013, 10:59:17 AM
As long as it doesn't have DRM on it I prefer digital because it just works so much faster, you can't lose it easily and you can make multiple copies without any worry.
