7261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BCHSV) on: February 27, 2019, 07:11:20 AM
There has not been a "thing of beauty" since Bitcoin, if we are being honest with ourselves. To be fair to all decent crypto projects, the altcoins which launched without ICOs and without forking, and who took the time to do their own development, they deserve some merits.

But this,,, Satoshi Vision. To rip off the name and make newcomers confused. They will not last long. Just look at Bitcoin Cash and how far it fell.
7262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: February 26, 2019, 01:58:29 PM
I really would like to find such a coin now. But I doubt that I will succeed. It seems to me that the cryptocurrency market is very weak and will not bring such a profit.

Next month will be full of promising things (Fidelity and Rakuten launc etc.). So soon we can see another bullrun.

I would like to succes you look at this coin:

Pal Network - their CEO at Forbs Asia. They launched mainnet and few products. They have big partners (like Toyota). Cap still very small.
Pchain - thei CEO is have connection with Chinese government. They have most biggest TPS in testnet (180k) and soon (in March) mainnet launch.

I think Fidelity and Rakuten will be solid buys actually, but I am talking about a strong trend of long-term valuation, perhaps steady single-digit percentages growth (over US dollar) rather than the next 100x coin, or even 10x.

This again I say,,, in the current climate of long years of crypto bears.

But I do not think big partners anymore like Pal or Pchain mean anything. TPS? Come on that is even ignored now. Second layer like Lightning makes TPS negligible.
7263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2018-2019 on: February 26, 2019, 10:56:11 AM
I guess I would agree with you on the above, but Sevilla have shown how they are really wobbling now, even at their amazing home ground, so we all know for a long time they are putting every effort into the Europa League, as they themselves keep saying it, they want to make it their cup.

But remember now Chelsea lost the league cup, so they only have hopes in Europa, plus Arsenal as well will want the free ticket to Champions League, because 1 of them will not make top 4.
7264  Economy / Gambling / Re: We celebrate 1 year at BitcoinTalk - Get some Exclusive Bonuses on: February 26, 2019, 09:33:34 AM
I am a new member of the community here too and I really felt so welcome especially at bitcointalk, and especially in the gambling section where people are the most relaxed. So well done and see you again for another year. It is a difficult place to gain recognition but the rewards are worth it.

Oh and one more thing,,, do not listen to all the people saying the bonuses were not great. It is always a strange thing that people complain the most when something is given for free without any effort;)
7265  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play & invest - LTC competition started! on: February 25, 2019, 01:42:09 PM
Hello ethan, thanks for the response to earlier query about running more than 1 instance on yolodice!

I just saw also that good old Seuntjie bot allows yolo and seems to work very well in integration. I think with all the dice sites out there, yolo is really one of the more underrated ones, when you consider the clean design.

And Kiritsugu,,, high rollers like you deserve fast bets!
7266  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin tries to do the impossible on: February 25, 2019, 12:34:42 PM
As I warned, the market collapsed) now just will not grow (on empty promises)

This was the warning of quite a lot of people actually, so I think it was largely expected,,, the market as you say cannot just grow on empty promises or McAfee Tweets anymore. We have to wise up to these expectations and think about fundamentals. Which are growing strong as ever, but cannot deliver bull runs and green days.

Hight hashpower, higher transactions, lower fees, everything points to mass adoption,,, this is the important fundamental that we can rely on. Not million dollar Tweets from ex cons.
7267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DASH still a good long term viable project? on: February 24, 2019, 09:09:48 AM
It still is one of the most important coins. But I think in terms of privacy coins, Monero is always the Bitcoin of them all. For me,,, I remember reading about DASH and how it was shady in the sense of developers doing somethings people were not happy with (centralized, so for a privacy coin, unacceptable).

It is for sure undervalued, remember when it was over $1k, but then, so was Ethereum!
7268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Predict Prices To Win ETH [Coinchase Service] on: February 23, 2019, 07:43:55 AM
That is an extremely high house edge to play this. 1.8x payout on a 50/50 chance of predictions for price,,, why would I play this when I can play dice at 1% edge and get 1.98x payout for 50/50 chance?

This is 10% edge, even worse than fiat casinos, even worse than lotteries!
7269  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play & invest - BTC - LTC - ETH - DOGE on: February 22, 2019, 09:34:22 AM
I have one question to ask,,, would the delays affect anyone running more than 1 instance of yolodice, from the same account? For instance, opening 2 windows of Chrome, and both running auto. Would the delays still affect the person?

This is not about cheating, but about some people who want to test 2 different strategies at the same time. I have not actually tried myself but hope to do so soon.

7270  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] YOLOdice.com Signature Campaign on: February 21, 2019, 02:29:00 PM
Greetings! I have been waiting for a while now to join a campaign that I can remain loyal to for a long time. Wearing this signature for over 3 weeks waiting for a spot to open Wink. Willing to take any open slot if there is none available for my rank.

BitcoinTalk username: leea-1334
YOLOdice user id: 229328
Forum rank: Sr Member
Current post count: 1857 (including this)

I have never left a campaign before it ended. And have been proud to join campaigns:
Dmarket by Edwarded
Crypterium by aTriz
Coinpayments by Lauda
and MobileBridge by Amazix (application is not on this forum).

All of these lasted long, the last 2 especially many months.

I like gambling and would be very happy to promote something I use and love! I admit I only opened an account because I saw this campaign, but I will do my best to promote and offer quality postings. I also added a message of my own under avatar but if it should be changed please let me know.

Thank you in advance!
7271  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: February 21, 2019, 09:29:05 AM
Taking your own security seriously most definitely is for beginners. It is where everyone should start. We take our customers security very seriously which why we offer all the advanced features you could ever need to secure your account. It is also why we don't hand over accounts to potential phishing attacks and insist on a Bitcoin signed message from an address that can be linked to the account as proof of ownership.
I wholeheartly agree. If you are a newbie in bitcoin or crypto world than you need to first learn the most important thing in this space. Security. If you do not take your own security seriously than I can not think how many people will try to rip you off by doing as much as they can because stealing money from someones bank account or wallet on the street is dangerous and risky and would probably result in jail time most of the time but stealing someones crypto is not that dangerous for the person who steals it.

Take care of your own security and make sure you are at all times have the access to it with upmost features including 2fa, I had my phones screen broken for the past couple of weeks and I have used my wife's phone for 2fa in the past weeks just to make sure I stay on top of things, never let go of your crypto for even a second because its incredibly important to keep an eye on it.

I think this applies to anyone who wants to go online and connect to other computers and other people. Does not even really apply only to Bitcoin/Crypto users.

Also, what does apply to Bitcoin/crypto users is that they need to understand the difference between crypto and all other forms of digital money. Everything we have ever used before needed a username and password and someone to take care of it for us. Crypto is different slightly.

Education is key, even to use faucets and gambling sites. What is the point of 2FA if your phone has no password and can be hijacked by everyone?
7272  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] Monetized youtube channel on: February 20, 2019, 08:20:28 AM
Where is your content and viewers?

I am enquiring on behalf of a company, who is trying to launch as a small start up in the next few months. It will have its own company accounts for social media but they are considering instead of an official youtube channel very difficult to maintain without extra staff, maybe it can make videos to host on smaller accounts with wider reach.
7273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a "betfair" for bitcoin up and running yet? on: February 17, 2019, 03:37:39 PM
I keep seeing people complain about liquidity at Fairlay but every time I check it out myself, I can see some pretty big orders there, for sure more than 1 BTC for even the lines I bet,,, I do not think there are that many whales who go for exchanges!

Keep promoting them and they will grow, just like OP says, Betfair took a long time to become popular and that is with fiat which almost everyone could use.

I don't know what liquidity is like there, but the website is a nightmare to look at, let alone use. They have some very odd features and a lot of tech issues historically around bet matching errors. But they seem to be honest and doing their best, and that is to their credit.

I am not looking to 'promote' any product.. If the product is good and provides me with value opportunities, I will be a user.
I am amazed the BTC space doesn't yet have a dedicated betting exchange that is built to professional standards.

I know you are not looking to promote anything, do not worry,,, I did not think that. And I agree that Fairlay website does not really look very friendly, it took me quite a while to understand how to use it, and the fee structure is very confusing if you do not read it properly.

Bet matching errors are common with new platforms just like as Betfair used to face, so that is only natural.

Bitcoin is still tough to understand for technical people, so they are surely doing their best but we just have to be patient. I mean look at even normal exchanges they are still so terrible in general even years after Bitcoin being in existence!
7274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitTorrent on: February 16, 2019, 01:14:10 PM
Bittorrent is a great service,,, I have been using it for many years and whenever I can, I do my best to seed files, especially the very old files that I myself took weeks or months to download. Old foreign films with english subtitles are the ones especially in demand.

Will BTT make people want to seed more? Maybe. But I do not think people will seed just because they want BTT. They make turn it on longer or more files but they will not become seeders just for BTT.

7276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in Sports Betting on: February 14, 2019, 01:00:51 PM
You bet on a good team, it will win eventually. No?

No that sounds like the solid foundations to build a great fallacy strategy for betting.   Many die hard supporters will have taken this route and suffered.   The problem would be teams change, people change and dynamics between teams cant be relied on to repeat between seasons or even games.

I just think its too general and really not a helpful aid to gaining any advantage in betting sorry

I agree with this, and, as I explained earlier(although it seems that no one noticed), martingale in sports betting is no different to that in dice betting. The main flaw of the martingale strategy, applied to any kind of betting, is that it implies that you should win in the end and thus make, not big, but still a profit, and that this profit is guaranteed. If that was possible, no casino would stay afloat till this day. All of them would die out shortly after opening, and there would exist no such thing as gambling.

I would say there is a big difference,,, but you are right all of you,,, not in the end result, but perhaps in how quickly you will reach this end result.

Dice: blind probability.
Sports: somehow good or bad value, plus much higher chance of variance. And a team can be expected to beat any team on given day, plus there is no provably fair Wink
7277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool £25 in btc to join on: February 13, 2019, 11:16:38 AM
You know, my predictions were actually made before I knew about Neymar and Cavani injuries,,, and definitely before Manchester United hit their top form. In fact they are most in form team in Europe, before the losing to PSG with 31 points from last 33 points in all games. In fact after this loss now it is PSG I believe who share the form of 1 loss and 1 draw in last 12 games.

I got perfect scores, so it pays sometimes after all not to change predictions it was as if PSG beat United on the old forms.
7278  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITCOINRUSH CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK - SUPER BOWL SPECIALS on: February 11, 2019, 09:59:55 AM
deposits can take over 1 hour to receive
withdraws can take 1 week to receive
low ass limits "then increased 1 hour before game starts"
no 1st half, no 2nd half betting
same odds as nitro maybe 1 penny better
customer support?   good luck with that one!!!!
Nitrogen shits on this rookie sportsbook

Lol. Nitrogen is A+ sportsbook and it is better than BITCOINRUSH.

I have not much against Nitrogen but I really cannot understand why everybody (well,,, not everybody but most people) think it is a good sportsbookie. Especially when you see who the active real betters are in this forum, hardly any of them place their bets on Nitro.

NOT the same odds as nitro. 1% or more. Which is not even 1 penny better.
7279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 09, 2019, 02:03:49 PM
Looks like Manchester United is pulling back into top 4. Leading at Fulham with 2-0 I don't see how the home team can score 2 goals just to keep things level.

Exciting matches are on Sunday, I think the usual people will win today,,, if Liverpool lose, it will be extremely interesting to see how the other teams react. Even more interesting to see how Klopp reacts.
7280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 06, 2019, 03:56:33 PM
Honestly, I have to say that tonight I will be watching the Spanish giants playing, instead of English Premier League. Pamoldar, is it not tonight though and no tomorrow? I guess the Liverpool fans are the ones who should know!

I do not support either of the top 2 right now,,, but I see the way Liverpool players are and for me,,, I cannot see others who better want to win. So I wish you @LFC_Bitcoin and @buwaytress the best of luck. Just win, and you take care of business.
