7281  Economy / Trading Discussion / How does someone implement a Bitcoin payment system? on: June 14, 2013, 04:43:28 PM
As you all know I've been studying programming for awhile now and I've of course started getting curious about how payment systems and such get coded, do you guys just look through the source code for Bitcoin and figure it out from there or are their tutorials from other areas of C++ that you look at or is it some kind of combination of the two? I've got no plans to mess with this stuff right now as I'm still just learning but I'd certainly like to take a look at it.
7282  Other / Off-topic / Re: I just found some amazing looking motion capture software on: June 14, 2013, 02:48:32 PM
It could be just rubbish, don't get me wrong, this type of thing does sometimes turn out to be a con or severely overhyped, but motion is motion, if someone can get a computer to track a guy moving around with a suit and some spheres stuck to him from a camera this seems like the next step to me, that pencil 2D Animation software for instance has come out and that's easily going to eliminate half an animation studio just because you can directly draw frames in a computer without any cocking around with other software.
7283  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-06-11 QZ.com - How digital currencies democratize tax evasion on: June 14, 2013, 12:45:25 PM
There's a term used by economists that has been largely forgotten about in regards to this when a government is on the brink of collapse: "Capital Flight"

It's not tax evasion ( wrong term for this anyway ) or even tax avoidance, people are just taking their money and running because they know the end is near, it's like when animals are running away all at once, the only reason they'd do that is if there's an impending disaster.

I now have a reason to buy a video camera Cheesy if this software is real I'm going to immediately buy it I suspect just so I can have an easy time putting in all sorts of animations to some human models, these guys have probably made 3D animators obselete at least for the main stuff, I might actually email them and ask how much it costs.
7286  Other / Off-topic / Re: Wanna Get Scammed? have i got a deal for you! on: June 13, 2013, 06:09:29 PM
Well I don't know about loans r3wt because I've been scammed myself on that point but I don't see how people can be so paranoid about getting a real product in return for Bitcoins, in that situation the merchant is taking a pretty big risk by accepting them.
7287  Other / Off-topic / Re: Wanna Get Scammed? have i got a deal for you! on: June 13, 2013, 06:03:04 PM
*slits wrists* >_< j/k but honestly, it pisses me off.
7288  Other / Off-topic / Re: Wanna Get Scammed? have i got a deal for you! on: June 13, 2013, 05:55:37 PM
Am I the only one who finds it an absolute piss take that it's clearly quite hard for people to earn honestly here yet the scam artists get people coming onto their threads en masse to give them their money? I could probably make a ton setting up a ponzi scheme with a fake account and everything than I could actually selling a product, too bad I'm honest and in this for the long run.
7289  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I buy a Xbox One or PS4? on: June 13, 2013, 03:25:59 PM
That's because they don't, or, even if they do, they get easily overtaken by PC components, PC's are great for gaming, the problem is the developers, they're that paranoid and insecure about filesharing they'll do anything to get their money including forcing gamers to connect to the internet just to play their games.
7290  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Judge Sentenced to 28 Years in Prison for “Selling” Kids to Private Prisons on: June 13, 2013, 01:52:32 PM
Yeah, but that's politics, the politicians and activists in this country live in their own isolated bubble while the rest of us live in the real world, we also have a recorded history of putting peoples heads on a pike when we lose our temper with them for oppressing us too much.
7291  Other / Off-topic / Re: Xbox One on: June 13, 2013, 01:17:39 PM
Yeah, but you can play with a rock without an internet connection Cheesy
7292  Other / Off-topic / Re: Xbox One on: June 13, 2013, 11:05:43 AM

7293  Other / Off-topic / Re: Old kung fu movies. on: June 13, 2013, 10:07:58 AM
Shogun T.V Mini Series ( Release date: 1980 )

Think of it like Game of Thrones in Japan but with less swearing/sex and more beheadings Cheesy It's not kung fu but it's very good regardless and has some fight scenes in it, now I think about it, it probably needs a different thread but it's a good series nonetheless.
7294  Other / Off-topic / Re: Xbox One on: June 12, 2013, 03:43:25 PM
I think that was the case, could be wrong though.
7295  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's talk about how hot Asian girls are. on: June 12, 2013, 02:51:45 PM
EW! Even I don't look at scat ;_; I do have a LOT of lesbian BDSM though Tongue

I've shown some of the stuff to a couple of my friends when they got curious and I don't think they've forgiven me since LMAO!
7296  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's talk about how hot Asian girls are. on: June 12, 2013, 02:47:54 PM

7297  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Coding Thread on: June 12, 2013, 02:28:57 PM
lolz well I'll be selling my games for Bitcoin but I don't really approve of arcades, it's basically like purchasing a game with a hard coded time limit and that sucks Sad

7299  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Registration Captcha - WTF! on: June 12, 2013, 12:21:31 PM
No matter how bad the spam is I have to agree captchas are fucking awful, I refuse to have them on my site anywhere.
7300  Other / Off-topic / Re: Xbox One on: June 12, 2013, 12:09:16 PM
I think i'll think pass on this xbox.
I said this for most of this generation of consoles. I enjoy PC gaming much much more.
I like pc gaming too but local multiplayer is important to me and that's pretty much nonexistent in pc gaming.

He's right, game developers have been quietly eliminating LAN gaming for years now, Blizzard got rid of it in Starcraft 2 if I recall correctly and only put it in after a lot of demands from their customers, how these people get away with such shit and still make millions is beyond me.
