There are some Graphics card would able to mind up some erc20 based tokens but expect it wont give any sufficient hashes for you to be profitable depending on the electricity rate on your place.
Just have a reference here https://whattomine.com/ to give you some idea and able to calculate things up.
7282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: July 27, 2018, 12:52:28 PM
This sounds good in theory, but I think it would be very hard for -some- people to disconnect from the notion that they gamble to win money.
The thing with addiction is that it kind of creeps up on you, without you noticing it at first.

So, you could very well be lying to yourself about 'only doing it for fun', while you're still getting addicted slowly.

A better tactic might be to severely limit the amount of time you spend on gambling, by sheer willpower alone.
When you see that you cannot do that, you can be pretty sure that you would be prone to becoming addicted in the future.

There are still some people who do engage with gambling in longer span of time but cant be considered to be addicted but its really hard to convince ourselves that they arent addicted yet engaging into gambling with a specific time or lets just say almost everyday is really proving out that hes already one those those gamblers cant really resist not to play. They do just tell they are not addicted but deep inside they are just keep lying to themselves. Prolong periods of playing will really put you into that case even no matter how strong your self-control is.

I think to call someone addicted, there have to be some negative consequences tied to the gambling habits of that person.
I wouldn't call someone addicted if they play a couple of hours per day, but don't spend more than they can lose and if it doesn't prevent them from having important social relationships with other people.

Now I do think they might be at higher risk of becoming addicted down the line, but I don't think you can ever be 100% that that will happen.
People can easily judge other people without even knowing on the true situation of such person. He do have his own freewill and we do know if we are already doing it too much.
You are still on a safe side if you are aware about your savings and other allocated important funds but we cant really remove into our minds that playing gambling will make a link to addiction.
It just depend on how you would control yourself or let addiction to overcome you.

How much did you put on? As i said earlier

Use this site on your own risk.

You should have put up some test amounts before putting big amounts and also it would be more a convincing thing about to your complaint if you do paste up some proofs and now just wait up for OP's reply.
7285  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Over 500 BTC Belonging to Iranians Seized by US Government: Report on: July 26, 2018, 08:49:17 PM
Good old America. Always ready to steal from anyone they can get their hands on.

Being the world police definitely costs money, which the dumbos of the world have to cough up. This once again shows that exchanges yet again prove to be centralized traps granting governments the exact same control banks grant them. No wonder that the overall volumes on exchanges are declining and not much fresh capital enters. Exchanges have proven to be unreliable due to *staged* hacks, and then you have all this nonsense on top of that. Not in a hundred years would I deposit large sums of money on an exchange, and that's very likely how millionaires and institutions seem to think as well. They rather stick with futures and options....
These are the thing or the reasons why those millionaires or eve billionaires do hold back on investing because of this possible reason or scenario they do know the possible risk if they tend to proceed.
Two risk government intervention and possible hacks even on my side i would really hesitate to put up. For Bigplayers they are somehow smarter yet they do know how to circulate money to make money.
In the issue above im not surprised on that seize up of BTC funds, they can anytime make alibis.
7286  Economy / Securities / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Website on: July 26, 2018, 07:55:52 PM
I'm interesting in starting a bitcoin gambling website. I'm looking for investors. Our dealings would be ALL bitcoin.
This has nothing to do with securities. It would be appropriate if you do post this on here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=12.0 and dont forget to post out on whats your project all about yet it do mention about gambling but you should elaborate further more so that you will able to get potential investors in case depending on how good would be the idea of your new gambling site.
7287  Economy / Gambling / Re: POWERBALL ON BITCOIN - Uses Real Powerball Drawings, 100% Verifiable on: July 26, 2018, 07:21:33 PM
With just having this kind of statement this do already prove that this is already shady website because they can assure payments if someone do hits up the jackpot on a short time.Accumulating 750 wouldnt be a joke and it do needs time or even not achievable even up to number of years due to the thing that lottery doesnt have any strong demand.
You already admitted about sites balance this do already proves everything. So Beware

In regards to the $5,000,000 USD (750 BTC) Jackpot, the 1PWRBALL address currently holds all of the funds, to be honest we only have the 0.03076 BTC ($250 roughly). This is currently enough to cover the most common winnings (everything below the $500 Prize). If someone were to hit any prize higher then what is currently in the address, they would be put on a payment plan (weekly) until there prize is paid in full.

But statistically, by the time somebody wins, there should be enough to cover any prize including the Jackpot.

7288  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I SOLD ALL MY BITCOINS on: July 26, 2018, 06:52:31 PM
I have been following bitcoins for the past 4 years. i am an Enginner. i remember how bitcoin was introduced to Me. To be honest, i was thruogh ponzi. i used to deposit over 0.1,0.4 to earn 0.7 to 0.9 bitcoins and i made a lot of Money. then, suddenly i decided to go for the killer jackpot and stack all my btc for once. i can remember clearly when a friend was advising me NEVER TO PUT ALL My eggs in one basket. i refused to listen and insist that it is only by strong will can one survived.
Unfortunately I LOST EVERYTHING.  IT was my life saving. Both my earning and my interest.
To cut the story short. i borrow money form the friend that was advising me not to stake everything. i need to pay back. But i will never depart from my lesson learnt from the bitcoin  stuff. i bought another bitcoins last year august and keep it away from anything. i strongly believed that i will still get my money and my friends money.
Thanks to the current Market, I HAVE TO SELL EVERTHING TO PAY MY DEPTHS.

NOW I AM FREEEE.

We should always listen up to those people who are more far experienced with us and you just neglect on what your friend do say. At first read up or glance you had invested on a ponzi and make some money and i do consider it as a lucky thing because most people or all people do invest with these things do normally lose up money instead of earning due to scamming owners. The second one you decided for a killer jackpot? I dont know if this is on gambling or another ponzi again. Its just a dumb decision to make on where taking a loan to someone just to invest into a very risky thing and now you have learned a lesson.

7290  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin ETF Decision on the 16th of August ? on: July 25, 2018, 09:21:44 PM
I think the decision will be positive. There are even some "insider leaks" according to which the attitude in the commission is positive and they will most likely approve it. It's about time if you ask me. Futures did fine, there are private investment groups and there are less and less people who claim it to be a ponzi scheme or any other type of scam.
IMPORTANT UPDATE !

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has delayed making a decision on whether to approve five bitcoin-related exchange-traded funds (ETFs) until September, public documents reveal on Tuesday. In the latest edition of the Federal Register, the SEC explains that it is postponing any decision over the possible approval of ETF proposals !

https://www.coindesk.com/sec-delays-decision-on-direxions-bitcoin-etfs-until-september/

Probably want everything to be precise. If they wanted to deny it again they wouldn't need so much time.

To be honest I am highly suspicious about these insider leaks... We've seen so many fake news and this is very strange.

Lets you are this insider. Would you tell this to anyone and watch the price going up on the fomo Huh Or you would simply keep this info for yourself and family, and tell them to buy cheap now. You wouldnt ruin the opportunity of your life by talking about this.... Unrealistic to me
Just darkangel said if they would just simply deny it then there would be no delays to be seen but now we do see that theres such postponing of such decision then most likely they would tend to reconsider it out.
once  theres an insider info then most of the time those would give some hints but even not knowing those informations we can still presume on what would happen.
@meerkatoken you should not think up on that way because profitability or making money will always vary on how we act on what we had recently known.
7291  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cryptocurrency is Great, But How Many Persons Know That? on: July 25, 2018, 08:16:57 PM
Many people who are up with the market knows about the Crypto world.
I think still very little people have knowledge about bitcoin. I think that still less than 2% people may have good knowledge about bitcoin and who are even using it for different purposes. To me i think that as time pass the bitcoin users will also continue increasing, because more and more people who get knowledge about bitcoin start taking interest in bitcoin and even invest their money in bitcoin trading. sc
2% of the entire or global population would really be a lot already but we dont know exactly on the current number of people who do really have knowledge or awareness of cryptocurrencies existence or even just on Bitcoin itself. I do also believe that people do knows bitcoin but not really on in-depth understanding because most of them do only just look up on the money opportunity that it gives.

The knowledge of cryptocurrency is growing everyday but the growth of the knowledge of cryptocurrency is a slow but steady one in world as a whole. In some countries, the knowledge of cryptocurrency is less than 20%. It's still in the hush level. Since the knowledge growth is steady one, the knowledge will keep increasing.
Thats right, we don't need to worry about the spread of crypto itself. In my own country Crypto is getting bigger, the total users are hundreds of thousands and will continue to grow because the knowledge of crypto will be increasingly spread, in the next few years, crypto will become mainstream..
Even if we dont really focus up something on spreading up the word the tech itself will increase awareness no matter what because people or community will really be interested on how this tech works and do contribute on our lives or just simply the innovation that it gives.

It is a bit too late to join FOMO3D. Payout dividend bad.
Join the a Hong Kong version. It just started and you can be the top of the pyramid.
Exact same rules.

http://ratscam.me
Its much better to create your own thread yet this kind of reply isnt really relevant at all even though it is just a similar type of game. Ive seen most of them do make use of the scam word on their site or urlnames  just like on FOMO3D which do have exitscam.me. I didnt know that theres a site which is earlier than on FOMO and both sites is accumulating huge amounts of ETH as of current. Even owners would just get up 1% of the entire pot then it would really be a very nice way on making profits but lets see on how these games ends up.
7294  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopay: A Central Entry Point to a Decentralised World on: July 24, 2018, 08:17:20 PM
So a question about KYC.

Will this be required to make any card ?

And if yes, what will be required?

Hello,

Nowadays it’s getting much more difficult to provide anonymous service due to recently implemented laws and directives. As we have to abide by those rules, for the security of the platform and all alleged users we won’t be supporting anonymous cards. Hence every new customer will have to undergo verification procedure before ordering a card. To find the detailed information about the required documents, please refer to the following article:
https://help.cryptopay.me/l/en/article/45dv86rxvq-what-documents-do-i-submit-to-verify-my-account
This is somehow anticipated yet regulation is almost everywhere how much more into these kind of card services which it would be mainly affected or be the one to abide the rules but well its our choice if we proceed verifications and this one isnt really a big deal yet i do mind on the service that it gives.

⚠️ Attention!
Find out everything that you need to know about the upcoming Cryptopay card programme.
After reading this article you’ll know all the essential information regarding our upcoming European, Russian, and Southeast Asian cards.
Read it here: https://bit.ly/2tJju0M

Ok, so we have delay.. Sad It's nice that the work is moving forward, but what is the next deadline for issuing a European card?

We won't make any false promises this time but we can safely say that our tech and developers team have finished their work and from the technical perspective we are 100% ready to implement the new card programme  —  all we need is the final approval from one of our various issuing partners.

Any update.. estimated time?

Hello,

We have already issued the first batch of cards for Russian Federation and are testing them at the moment. Cards for Europe and Southeast Asia are next in line!  Wink
Atlast, waiting up for Southeast asia yet had been mentioned its already next in line. Waiting for further announcement. Smiley
7295  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptocurrency Regulations - Philippines on: July 24, 2018, 07:14:17 PM
It will be the good news for the people in Philippines. This will enable the new people to inverse in bitcoin. It increase the demand of bitcoin in the market. If all the country ,start to regulate the bitcoin or make bitcoin as a legal tender. It will impact the price of bitcoin to the moon.
I believe on that too, regulations is what we need and we all know a lot of people are waiting for this kind of news from their own government. Making cryptocurrency as a legal tender needs more time but I'm sure we are heading to that.

You're very negative... "why we say we don't like government interference", what do you mean by "we"? Maybe YOU and not us. If the government did not interfere in these 3 exchanges, do you think they can operate? Who will issue their licenses, the NPA? There are still 70 companies that have already applied to operate in the Cagayan Economic Zone, is it not the government that will approve their application? If there's no government interference, where and how did they apply?
They really need to go under the legal procedure so they can operate legally in the Philippines, let's all be positive about this and hope that this will run smoothly.

I don't see why there's negative feedback from the government interference. The actions of the Philippine government are actually favorable to crypto users. This is better than the country declaring a ban. These licenses issued by CEZA actually legitimizes the business of these exchanges. This may even encourage and attract more investors since there are exchanges which have licenses. This will reduce the shady nature of crypto. Surely, this will pave the way towards better adoption of cryptocurrency in the country.
Its much better to be regulated than to be fully restricted or prohibited which its really an advantage for bitcoin or crypto users into this country. The thing is that the way they do handle out exchange business is becoming more stricter asking KYC which you wont really have any choice but to comply for you to use up their service.Users do increases over the years pass by due to the fact that crypto can really help up on their financial either as a main income or just a sideline.
7296  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bojoko.com | Casino comparison site with bitcoin casinos on: July 24, 2018, 06:33:16 PM
How can we know if you are not deleting the bad reviews instead of the good one? I believe every casino should have a good review but using this kind of trick there is no way people will review your site directly from your site. They will choose to review your site from outside instead of inside. I have not played on your site yet but you should doing campaign or may be promotions to get more people around since you opening a new site. This thing will really helpful to make good progress. Next step will depends on your promotions or may be some competition as well

This is a good angle that you are opening up here because most review sites always have an end game which is how they can turn traffic into revenue and the moment that is a deciding factor, compromise is imminent because self interest becomes the deciding the factor of whatever that would be posted on the website and how bad reviews are managed not to look so bad.

However, I expect anyone who would want to rely on reviews to make decisions not to base such decision on information from just one side and that would amount to investment suicide without any room for correction but from several review sites and the potent one which is the scam accusation section of the forum, an informed decision can be made.
I cant even see a reason why would a certain player would decide to play directly to the site being recommended or listed on just having 1-2 positive feedbacks?
Too hard to accumulate sufficient traffic and monetize it yet even on the games being listed im not even familiarized with it or not totally famous at all.
As a sensible player we wont really just look out for few inside reviews where its always been suggested or obliged ourselves to look up outside feedbacks.

I extracted my btc, but I didn't show any coin information in the account history, but my balance is already 0, and my wallet account has not received any btc.
Read posts above you they are on vacations and now you have to wait for update from them until end of August as I am also on wait because have same issue and no reply from support

This is the first time I heard that the exchange can be like this, and the time is so long that even the basic operations of the mainstream currency are suspended.。。。。
You are not the only one do see such thing but even I do still surprised how an exchange do suspend such operation and telling that they are on a vacation? They dont even care on the users or traders that do use up the site and if such features are disabled then this exchange is completely dead.
They should have the consideration even just leaving out some personnel's to watch out even on just basic operations like deposits and withdrawals. Im not even sure if they would comeback on last days of August.  Cool

7299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Insurance or cryptocurrency investment? on: July 24, 2018, 02:27:38 PM
If I were you, I will invest on both. We all know that we earn from investing in a cryptocurrency. It's once of the best investment of all time. How ever, it cannot give us an assurance of earning when something bad happened to us, therefore, it is good to invest in an insurance. From the word itself, you'll get the assurance that when emergency comes, you know where to get money and such.
From the word itself it is already stating that this would really be good thing to put up for longer terms it might not give big increase compared to crypto investment but as a traditional insurance thing we can somehow guarantee that it would last up. Why would struggle to choose up between the two? If you can decide to put up money on both things? Dont just focus on single specially on crypto. It might give big returns but wont give you an assurance to make money but instead you would possibly waste up your insurance money.
7300  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Supporting Families in Venezuela with Bitcoin on: July 23, 2018, 06:49:28 PM
I'm not going to quote and respond to every single one of you, but let me say that you have the wrong idea on what I'm trying to achieve here.
Look, those people need basic necessities in the first place, that can be achieved through simple donations, as I proposed.

Now I see your arguments about teaching them how to earn their own money, and I fully agree with that as well!

That's why I've reached out to some Venezuelans on Steemit, who are looking to set up an initiative there.
Check the top comment on my most recent Steemit post: https://steemit.com/crypto/@daan/nano-community-donates-over-300-kg-660-lbs-of-food-to-venezuelans

Leave your political talk out of this discussion please. Just for the record, I'm not even a socialist.

@OP Actually, someone from my team has reached out to that redditor, I'll let you know if there's a response. So far nothing yet.

@KingScorpio I don't think OP is deluded with visions of saving humanity. Of course there's a bigger underlying issue to solve, and perhaps whatever is going on with Bitcoin in Venezuela may not solve problems, but it's undeniable that there are some roles that can be played (and already played) to alleviate some of the money problems there.

Some people want to change the world, that's fine. Others just want to lend a helping hand. If Bitcoin's the vehicle, then why not? At least they're trying.

those families need an income source not bitcoins, whats the use giving them some bitcoins?

God damn it dude, due to hyperinflation, their regular income isn't worth anything. Those few Bitcoin donations could mean an entire month's worth of food, enough to give them time to work out another solution.
Just reading up, i dont know why people do reach out to the topic of fishing(just joking).  Cheesy I do get your point brother and this is just a simple thought or idea on how to donate. Talking about other things will just derailed such discussion but well we do have our own ideas but lets just stick on whats being said on op. Im really being easily to be touched into these kind of stories where small amount of money is already equivalent for a month salary which as a donator you would really be happy that you help out somehow those people on such condition.
