8201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you read ICOs white paper before investing? on: September 17, 2017, 03:54:10 PM
I see a lot of people that do not bother to read the paper,
I try to do max due deligence before buying any coin.

What about you?

a must if you do not want to lose.
if you read first, you will not get stuck or get lost in it.
rarely do people realize it.
for me one must examine and read the concept of an ico project that I am studying.
this is concerned with the benefits and investments we expect.
Knowing that ICO are investments which means it does need money and we dont like to lose money eh?This is why its always been part of our responsibility to see always their white paper so that you do have the idea on whats the thing they are building here.If its a gold or just a complete trash. You would really able to identify if this thing would gain interest or not into the public.
8202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin will be used in our daily transactions. on: September 17, 2017, 12:58:02 PM
If bitcoin will be used as our daily payment is it possible that schools will be accepting it as payment for tuition fees? And if it will be accepted they need to teach the students the use of bitcoin and give the knowledge to use it and how it works.
Its actually possible to make bitcoin as a payment on schools maybe it is already available on japan knowing that they are already adopting bitcoin on their place which we can assume they are already adding it up on their payment system on the usual things like paying tuition fees by the use of it which is really great but knowing that adoption is still not too much in bitcoin.
8203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think of Dogecoin? on: September 15, 2017, 06:34:13 PM
Dogecoin is a good choice for transfering Bitcoins or other expensive currencies on indirect way, especially when Bitcoin fees are to high.
This is how i make gonna use of DOGE coin on which i do convert it into doge to have fast transactions with less fees and also this coin is really good to on playing gambling because on its value.Im enjoying on playing on using doge because i can able to extent or make use of strategies on gambling because i do have lots of coins to spend from unlike on playing bitcoin itself its somehow stressful.
8204  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: September 15, 2017, 05:54:42 PM
Bitcoin has pass through many stage, limitations, attack and forks issue but its price keep on increasing from inception till now. At this time Last year bitcoin price was $450 but today it is $1245 that was over 180% increment in just a year. This is what we call blessing, that is making progress in the face of strong opposition!!
The fact bitcoin price increase 560% if looks back when we're stuck at $220, in that situation many bitcoin user think the price will not rise. I think you it's too naive if you think that bitcoin is blessed because it has nothing to do with religion.
Yet there see still possibilities for Bitcoin to experience bad things in terms of transaction , value and price. And that could be the point that people would look at bitcoin as a total disaster. But we all know that Bitcoin has its limit and future so the best thing to actually do is to continue our support to its system for it to achieve it full depth in terms of transactions , investments and security.
There are many things which still need to be improved, like as you mentioned, instability, price, value and the system of holding and transaction. Because it is a new thing for the people so nobody will easily accept and own bitcoin and will never depend his future on bitcoin. If bitcoin is not welcomed all over the world, then what? I think then it will be only a coin business.
We are still young as of now Bitcoin is still 8 years and theres still lots of improvement to happen on upcoming years to come but thinking off that it would be a mainstream then its impossible i would believe that it would really just stay on what it is now. Digital currency with a new payment innovation is really a blessing for us and we should focus on this one.Price is too volatile and it cant really be accepted easily but this is also a good terms of investment.
8205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For every seller there must be a buyer on: September 15, 2017, 04:36:18 PM
Ok, so if we are to believe the hype, the Chinese are dumping like crazy, and also many other weak hands.  So question is, who is buying this up?  Surely the smart money has held on till around the $3000 level before jumping in.  So who/why is anyone actually buying over the last few days?
Who are the ones who do buy? Then for sure those people who sold their coins lately. If not all then im sure there are some who do really bought on those dip prices and now the price had risen on small percentage then those are easy profits.Buyers would really be always there specially on this dip prices because they do know that they can make money on the slightest percentage.
8206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much time do the cryptocurrencies require? on: September 15, 2017, 03:43:51 PM
Once you decide to trade and/or invest into cryptocurrencies, how much time do you need to spend for that? Is it possible to combine trading and investing with your regular life or is it a full time job?
How much of your time do cryptocurrencies take?
Thank you in advance for your help Smiley
Depending on your time if you are a person who do have day stable job then you do really have hectic schedule then for sure having a sideline would be difficult which you would really need to have a good time management.Engaging on crypto doesnt really need full time unless if you are an active trader or investor then it would really be needed but if you do treat it as a sideline then it is not necessary to full time.
8207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: effect of war to bitcoin on: September 15, 2017, 12:19:09 PM
it seems usa vs north korea will happen. nokor just launched another icbm today.

do you think this will start the end of bitcoin?

I cant see these Wars would really affect Bitcoins price it has nothing to do as long they wont able to cash out funds which are being invested into bitcoin. We dont know on how much they did put into bitcoin if its big or just small. If they would decide to cash it out for war purposes then it can affect price but depending on how big they did invest on.
8208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leave Bitcoin in Exchange? on: September 14, 2017, 04:59:54 PM
Some people says that the wrost thing to do is leave your bitcoins in some exchange.
I have 200 usd of btcs in Payeer, it is a online wallet but it also has a exchange.

Do you recommend to me to move this bitcoin to a wallet like Electrum?

Replace some with EVERYBODY with a brain.

Bitcoinica, gox, mint, btce, inputs...how many of those need people to experience on their own skin before they realize that when you deposit coins on an exchange you basically lend them with no contract and no real way of getting them back legally if something bad or a "hack" happens.

Do you even know where this payeer is located? Who they are?
A LLC limited liability company based in Georgia (the country). Nice.

I bet that he didnt even know such thing. Just like what most people suggesting on here better to moved out those funds of yours in payeer and its much better to keep those funds on electrum. It might be small but still thats money and losing them wont really give a good feeling.Never ever leave your bitcoins into places on which you dont have the possesion of your keys. Its too risky.
8209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategic investment on: September 14, 2017, 04:20:39 PM
Hello community,

Like the subject says, Im seeking any kind of advice/tips for a strategic planning investment on altcoins.  I'm a beginner regarding to crypto investments, I've been around for while, however, I started investing only 2 months ago.

So, what I was thinking as a long term strategy could be:

- Each month, invest 250$ into a max of 6 altcoins (250$ for each)

I can only afford 250$, but I guess it is a plausible value to invest. I  like the idea if I can rotate 250$, each month, trough the 6 altcoins that I'm holding in order to increase the amount of coins, and get a higher ROI.

What are your opinions?  Should i diversify more instead of trying to get a higher amount of coins for the alts that Im holding?

Share your toughs with me.

my regards

Even diversifying wont really give any assurance that you would able to rotate or generate income on monthly basis because profits or loses would depend on how the coins would behave its price and also this would depend on what coin you did put your investment on.Selecting coins would be the hardest part which you would really need to research first before putting on some money not just carelessly select any coins that you do like.
8210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: September 14, 2017, 01:41:09 PM
Why? Because Cash is instant payment. Just that.

yeah, if we have cash we can use it everywhere and we can but things we want to buy if have cash. but if we have bitcoin we were not sure that the market accept that kind of payment so we better have a cash in our hands.
Its just really normal to think off that cash is always been used since we do live on this world and yes we can buy anytime anywhere if we do have a money on our pockets this is why its really important.Knowing bitcoins adoptions is still not on its full extent which means we cant really make use of it anywhere but there are some places which you can able to spend it directly its good but on some bitcoin users only.
8211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: September 14, 2017, 12:18:11 PM
Here is an interesting article i came across, it talks about the implications of regulations in ICO's

https://medium.com/@crowdholding/china-ban-on-icos-not-all-doom-and-gloom-74daf814209c

Such honest articles are extremely rare in the mainstream media. For the past several days, the MSM have been churning out a great deal of FUD against the cryptocurrencies, and Bitcoin in particular. And this FUD is mainly targeted at people who are new to Bitcoin, or those who are hearing it for the first time. The concept of ICO is not familiar to most of them, and therefore most of these people misunderstands the ICO ban as a ban on the possession of Bitcoin. And the sliding exchange rate is an evidence of the success of this propaganda campaign.
And now we are already seeing on the effects on those FUDS which weaker hands did really tend to panic and sell out of their coins because of the news without any proper idea on what an ICO afterall. We are diving back again now on 3.6k usd per bitcoin and comes worst we would go back again on below 2k price point which do really sucks to see this low price point again but well these things do really happen on bitcoin this is why we should really expect the unexpected.
8212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how improve trading on: September 13, 2017, 05:26:37 PM
In order to improve trading all you have to do is experience it. Do trading daily so you can learn how it process, how's the market movement. And don't let your emotion takes you, self determine to learn and also by reading some information will help you to improve your trading knowledge.

Experience is gained trough practice, learning how to avoid mistakes and how to control emotions is part of that. I think that is the best way for improving trading skill, and in same time to read about global happenings about bitcoins, recent drop is due some rumor's and certain influenced people said something bad about bitcoin and if that can move the price trader need to be informed about all that on time if you trade with bitcoins, other altcoins are also vulnerable probably more then bitcoin, so Twitter account is must have if you wish to trade, follow all important people, creators of some altcoins, bitcoin developers, and in recent time others too.
If you do really make trades for longer tries and times then you will really learn something along the way compared on not having an engagement with it.Trading does really need actual work because on this way you will gain knowledge which would help in your trading career.Dont lose hope when you do make losing trades because its always been part on having that thing.
8213  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: September 13, 2017, 04:03:58 PM

I am not sure how many of them are holding the gold or bitcoin but for me, I'm the one who falls in the category of people holding bitcoins. After long time I'm feeling very good about my investment as I have taken right decision to invest into bitcoin. I'm pretty sure that gold holders would be more than bitcoin because come on gold is traditional stuff and it is present there since thousands of years. So that's why gold holders will more. But in the current era people holding bitcoin will be more profitable than the gold people and that is the fact which is most considerable here. Why would bother about this question anyway as you are into bitcoin world now. Experience the hikes of bitcoin which are going on since it has been created. In the time to come bitcoin will be even more popular than gold as we think about this question who is holding more.
I will prefer holding my money in btc because of the high rate if volatility (positively though, not in a negative way) Gold has a low rate of being volatile, so you won’t actually be making profits. But if I hold my money in bitcoin, I will be monitoring the price and will never take my eyes off the market. It can crash anytime.
If you are an active trader then holding bitcoin would be the best thing for you to engage with and i agree on what you said on here regarding on price volatilizes.Bitcoin do moves more than on Gold which we can really make money because the more it moves the possibilities of profits would really be there specially if you are active but its not easy as it sounds because as an active trader you would really be always seeing on the price movement of bitcoin.
8214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Might Exceed $1 Million, More Millionaires in World Than Bitcoins on: September 13, 2017, 03:30:31 PM
I think it is hard for bitcoin to exceed $1 due to many reasons. First of all, bitcoin is not the greatest currency in the world, there are still many cryptos out there which is better and greater than bitcoin. Second, fiat will still exist. As long as fiat is still there, bitcoin can not reach $100000 Wink
you believe in the magic of bitcoin? If so then you need to believe that bitcoin can do anything. Including realizing something that seems impossible to be a reality. It's a miracle that no one else can do. Bitcoin is different, bitcoin has magic in every corner.

Bitcoin has a touch of magic. But it is hard to believe this prediction of $1 million per coin due to multiple reasons. If that happens, then Bitcoin will be having a market cap of $20 trillion, which is ten times more than the current US Dollar valuation.
Its too much to consider on those price ranges.Even on reaching out 100k is still debatable or even on 50k price. How much more on 1M.? Its too exaggerated to consider thinking off that it would surpass the marketcap of US dollar. Its an impossible thing to happen. Its not really bad to have some high hopes on bitcoin but we should really be realistic though.
8215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Etoro seems like a huge Scam site. on: September 13, 2017, 02:59:19 PM
You should have done a lot of extensive research about this company first. They have a lot of issues just like yours with other users. A simple google search really wouldn't hurt. I doubt you'd be getting your money back. I remember a guy lost $7500 to this, just this year I think.

I did not do the research, i regret it now.
On other hand, it is such a big company and based in Europian Union which made me think that it cant be a scam.
May i know whats the full name of the site? Since you are mentioning about a trader on here then i suppose you are giving your money to them and they are the ones who do make trades on you?Am i right? Since you didnt elaborate what kind of site is this which i do make some assumptions. If they did give only 65 usd back to you instead of a complete withdrawal with less fees then you would really recieved even more amounts. This is really quiet suspicious movement from them.

To be completely clear.
Site is www.etoro.com
I put on money on this trader, made trades myself ( chose which currencies to buy and when to sell them). Did profit from these trades and then withdrew the money .
I withdrew all of my balance in amount of 420 dollars but received only 80 dollars.
I see the site. The thing who do have problem here is the site why they do give insufficient amounts and thinking of 420 usd withdrawal just only got $80 is bullshit. Where did those other amount go? If we say they deduct some fee then its insane. If i were you dont engage on this site anymore. You are wasting your time.Instead of letting them to trade for you its much better to trade on your own with your own money.Even if you loss its still worth it.
8216  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you lost today, including profits. on: September 13, 2017, 02:30:55 PM
I thought I was the only one who lost on trade, but many people same with me. Since i started trading about 6 months ago I have lost 0.2 BTC included my profit because I play altcoin and the prices of altcoin that I bought is going down, maybe in the future I will focus with bitcoin which is more promising than altcoin

There no winners on trading field buddy! Loses would really be a normal things on this field and speaking on my situation about loses i do believe that i lost for about $5000 over all on my entire trading career which i do believe that i already recovered it as the times goes by because i am getting a better trader everytime i do make trades and gains experience. For sure there are lots of traders who do lost even more higher than me.
Today I do not have such large sums, but the fact is that I'm more careful about tea and the other is also a small amount of Bitcoin. The fact is that in the first place I sell Talking back the etherium and then I sell the etherium on Bitcoin. Of course, Does the difference fall by 5%, then I start selling, But basically I expect good growth.t
Its normal for having those price depreciation knowing bitcoin is volatile when it comes to its price. If you did convert your altcoin into bitcoin then it might still a good move. This is how trading works,we should be wise on the things we do in order to make profits in any move that we do.Failing is always been part of learning but later on you would really got used to it and would able to figure it out on how market works.

8219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effects of ICO to Bitcoin on: September 12, 2017, 04:57:15 PM
While you can't fully decouple the ICO market from BTC, I'd say the effect is rather limited compared to the effects on ETH. BTC still is part of an economy of its own while ETH is largely used for buying ICO tokens.

Not much unless the ICO already release in exchanger and then people trade the coin using bitcoin, it can increase the transaction volume and that can caused the price to go up, when it has become alt coin then it got more effect to bitcoin
That's why when China banned ICO it makes the BTC price dips. ICO have a big impact on btc. When investors buy plenty of btc to invest into ICO it adds on btc price. Ico attracts more btc users for it is the easiest way to invest in an ICO having bitcoin.

The BTC price dropped because it was reaching a new ATH of USD 5k that was already a strong psychological barrier to begin with. While China's ICO ban may have been a catalysator, this dip still was bound to happen either way.

Recent ICO issues shouldn't have too much effect on BTC in the long run. Once ICOs are better regulated and transparent they should attract more of the "big money" and cryptos will benefit.

We're a looong way off from regulated and transparent ICOs... even if they become regulated, most big money will prefer traditional VC investments as opposed to ICOs.
This is what i supposed to say on which i didnt think off that banning ICO made by China is the actual reason why bitcoins price dips on those times but somehow do really make a trigger to dip too together on the thing that bitcoins price is really already on the reversal side when it didnt able to break the 5k usd resistance barrier.I cant see that this ban ICO cant really affect big on bitcoins price.

Does anyone know when Hashflare will get the SH-256 mining back online as they are currently out of stock?
As been mentioned above if they do say that their out of stock then you cant do anything about it and you would really need to wait instead. As suggested why not trying to contact them regarding on your queries? If i were you i wont bother to put investment on this cloud mining schemes because i dont see that this thing is profitable anymore specially on longer runs.
