7341  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC To 1$ on: December 03, 2018, 06:10:25 PM
Obviously OP is saying there is no logic in the price of crypto and I am sorry to agree. I see the value of Bitcoin and I love it and I do not think I will ever leave it for as long as the network is alive and well,,, but for other than that, the market follows no logic.

Curiousity is asking me though, to OP, what did you say when Bitcoin was $100? Did you also predict $20k?
7342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Early December on the crypto market. on: December 03, 2018, 08:53:24 AM
I hope we will see another green market till the end of this year, because I am really tired of waiting. I am sure that I am not the only one and if the fall continues, we will lose a lot of crypto connected audience.

If you are tired of waiting when it has not been even a full year of waiting,,, then maybe crypto is not for you. Bitcoin needed to wait 8 years before getting 5 digit price figures,,, I do not think it will go into another bull market for a long time after spending so much energy to get there.

Just be patient and look back on history to see what the length of time was needed before. You did not think crypto was going to be easy did you?
7343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Destroyed me at all. on: December 03, 2018, 06:16:38 AM
You spent $150,000 on Bitcoin,,, this means that you should have been buying it to think about a long term investment. I mean I do not think I will ever see even 1 BTC in my life, even at $4k. Nobody in my family ever has that in savings but if we did,,, surely we would be thinking of investment of at least 5 years.

You invest that much of money and after a few months you are worried? Bitcoin is a multiyear hold, not a multimonth Smiley
7344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How to verify telegram member joined our group through google Spreadsheet ? on: December 01, 2018, 08:54:31 AM
I think some of the community managers in this forum use the script. If I am not mistaken Amazix uses it as they seem to have a highly sophisticated Telegram bot that syncs with their spreadsheets of banned usernames. Only I am not sure if the sheet is Googlesheets, but maybe you can ask them, if they will share that with you or do it for you. Be aware that this is not perfect,,, if users use fraud to add their names to sheet, you have auto clear for them on Telegram.
7345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is coinbase a scam? on: November 30, 2018, 08:59:56 AM
Coinbase is probably the most secure and robust platform in the world of cryptocurrency. I've been using it for more than a year and I've never had any trouble.

Wow you must really not know about wallets. Have you ever actually signed your own transaction and broadcast it? Can you guarantee at any time if you want to withdraw your coin, Coinbase will allow it and process it properly? Can you set your fees exactly? Can you send to bech32 addresses? Can you claim any tokens or splits or forks by yourself?

Tell you the answers: no. If you use Coinbase you rely on Coinbase.

Use a real wallet and stop trusting Coinbase. Or did we forget what crypto was all about?
7346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are Ethereum & Omnity Buys Of The Decade? on: November 30, 2018, 08:37:49 AM
80%? More like 93% from ATH, since ETH really did touch $100 and even below $100 on some exchanges. If buying a coin at below 90% of ATH makes it a buy of the decade, then you should see all the top 100 alts. Plenty of buys of the decade. Remember Bitconnect? Buy of the century below 0.1% of ATH!

All I am saying is,,, price is not the ultimate guide. In fact, nothing is. Coins rise and fall, some because of tech and usage like Bitcoin,,, some for no reason than speculation.
7347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam projects, what should we do! on: November 29, 2018, 12:29:38 PM
Yah! What could be a scam? Now there are only real projects on the market. No one self-respecting investor will invest in story without a prototype, at least, and even without a working product!

Real projects or not are not a conclusion to as whether the token or coin associated will be a success. I have seen a lot of non-real projects become big successes. Look at EOS for the biggest example. No prototype no product just copypaste code. And when they did get the product moving, it just became worse. Investors is normal to want to invest in ideas but we now learn that ideas in crypto are literally 100 ideas a day, and all implementable at code level.

Utility is still the major obstacle! Product can be great but if nobody uses? Product can be stupid kitties but if people use it, it becomes a success!
7348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Nothing to do with BCH/SV LMAO on: November 29, 2018, 11:55:00 AM
I honestly did not get it either when people blamed Bitcoin Cash splits/forks for all this downturn,,, I remember last year it was even worse. Civil war all over the place. Bitcoin supposedly searching for a reason. But all that happened was the chain split, people gave up Segwit2x, and BTG and BTD and 100 different forks happened. Bitcoin did not die.

But now a coin that only has a small dominance splits and everybody thinks it hurts crypto. I really do not get it.

7350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC will be list on NASDAQ, what will happen? on: November 28, 2018, 04:03:01 PM
Just because Nasdaq believes in Bitcoin does not mean Bitcoin will continue to surge. All the millions of Bitcoin users okay maybe only a few hundred thousand believe in it truly,,, but this did not prevent the price from declining. McAfee believing it will become $1 million does not make Bitcoin a million dollar coin.

Do not get me wrong. Love Bitcoin but just telling you all do not buy the news.
7351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC bear market over????? on: November 28, 2018, 07:50:24 AM
In my opinion bitcoin will raise only next year so this is a good time for bying it while the price is low

It will definitely rise in 2019 but there is a possibility that Bitcoin can grow in December. I guess, we have to use these days to invest in BTC as soon as later, this crypto will be expensive again.

Hey, we are all obviously entitled to our opinions,,, just as the "Experts" and "CEOs" are entitled to their own,,, but have we not seen how the markets just completely disregard even the highest of opinions and just goes and does what it likes? I believe it is not even next year but 2020 or even later that we will see the next bull run. Anything in between at the best can only just be recovery. Be prepared for really, really bad times.
7352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XLM above EOS - on the fifth place on: November 27, 2018, 06:31:40 PM
I sort of regret never getting my share of Stellar Lumens when they did the airdrop, but the thing was too difficult for me to do, and I did not want to move my Bitcoins out. Actually this is what happened with all my airdrops, I just did not feel secure moving anything over. But what is this about only 17% of them in circulation? Are they also held like XRP by the developers? That is always dangerous in my opinion,,, I cannot trust developers no matter how nice they are, if they control such large stakes.
7353  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-27] Breaking: Numerous Bitcoin Wallets May Have Been Compromised by Rog on: November 27, 2018, 04:26:14 PM
I hope this is a stupid question but this has nothing to do with Electrum wallet or Bitcoin Core right? I do not think I recognize any of those names but you know, just in case. I remember seeing the forum warning when there was the Electrum vulnerability a few months ago so just want to make sure my client is safe.

Any merchants using Bitpay affected?
7354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1BTC or look elsewhere? on: November 27, 2018, 07:59:23 AM
Definitely buy 1 BTC, keep it safe and then get on with your life for one two or maybe three years,,, this is the best time to buy Bitcoin, you missed out on 2017 and 2018? Well, welcome back you missed out all the drama and when ATH comes again you did not miss out. No worries, no fuss. You trade, you get worries.

Of course, please keep that Bitcoin safe. Do not store it on any exchange!
7355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM - ONE MORE POSSIBLE MOVE DOWN BEFORE MARKET RECOVERY on: November 26, 2018, 07:50:32 PM
Hoping that the market will recover quickly but the reality changes is very unreasonable, now the ETH 109 value in this difficult reality will probably continue to touch the value below 100 that people often say.Prepare to buy more ETH when that happens.

But this was just what people were saying at various points throughout this year. Below $1k? A lot of buying volume I remember on exchanges. And even with all those buying the price still dropped. And then Below $500 they were already talking, it will never drop below $400,,, $400 was the critical support level because in 2017, ETH fought the $400 price ceiling 3 times before finally breaking it. They thought it was going to be the same floor but that did not even last long,,, $100 seems such a natural value but I do not think the market cares.
7356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to 80$ on: November 26, 2018, 01:52:21 PM
Wow,,, sleep one night and all sorts of things can happen. I just saw that Ether reached $101.50 but then it gained back 10% and is above $113 right now. Was even as high as $118, so that is 17% gain in 24 hours,,, feels so strange to talk about tens of dollars growth now when we were just a while ago playing with Cryptokitties at 1k ++ Ether price.

Anything can happen and everything will still happen,,, anybody guess where we will be on Christmas?
7357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Currencies today ! on: November 26, 2018, 09:21:01 AM
Lesson number 1 for crypto. Nothing happens for a reason. News can be bad, countries can ban, forks can happen, regulations can get tighter,,, and price can still go up. Just check 2017 to understand this.

At the opposite side, news can be nothing but good. Governments can welcome crypto. Volumes can go up. Technology can keep improving,,, and price can go down and down. Just check the past 11 months to understand this.
7358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: My Ether Wallet on: November 26, 2018, 06:59:09 AM
I do not quite understand what value an old ETH address can have..?
I heard once that it was possible to get a small amount of some other coin from the old BTC addresses, but now I don't remember which one it was.. maybe here is similar situation.  Roll Eyes
What is the value of an address that is only affected by airdrop dust? Maybe it is possible that it has some collector value?  Roll Eyes

Some people do want older addresses I have also not understood why. I know airdrops in the past and even now do give out free tokens to holders of coins at addresses, but this does not look at the age of the address. But I have heard of airdrops that take into account both the amount AND the activity. So the longer the period of activity the more you can gain. But then, these airdrops are not that significant,,, so I cannot say also if there are other uses we may not have heard of. Anyone care to share?

Mate have you posted this on Digital goods?

You should move it there since you are going to receive payment with btc.

That is correct. Offers on altcoin marketplace tend to get buried down a lot. Serious Bitcoin buyers are all on Bitcoin Marketplace. You might get a better response from there.

Also,,, it is Black Friday today. Make a good deal on auction maybe,,, set a reserve price and let people start bidding. Just see the rules other people have done and follow it. Then you get fair market rate. And announce it in gambling too.
