741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Official Sexcoin Thread - Trading On PhenixEX ! on: September 04, 2013, 04:37:55 PM
Fuck , Fuck, Fuck..

Just as I'm trying to persuade an exchange to take us on the p2pool goes down..

What are the chances of that ? Next to none.... I bet it's getting ddos'ed..

crypto coins community is full of criminals, that's why they don't want any government or police around. The claim for freedom is used by those that rather not be caught. Crypto coins will never leave the geek environment until the majority of honest people that trades and uses crypto coins eradicate the mafia out. This also includes the thief's that sell mining equipment and laugh their way into the bank.
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Official Sexcoin Thread - Trading On PhenixEX ! on: September 04, 2013, 01:20:37 PM
Quick note these are the exchanges we are approaching:

CoinEx    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=265277.240
Crypsty   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=246679.msg3077162#msg3077162
Alt Trade https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=286752.0

More exchanges mean more BTC flowing into SXC, which means more value for the coins you mine and hold.

Take a moment just to post a quick "Add SXC" and show them how much support this coin has.

And thanks RPG  Wink , for your support.

NP, now get your new code on GIT and take the pool off beta and SXC will be rocking
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Trade - New Coin Poll [Vote for the Coin we should add] on: September 04, 2013, 03:59:34 AM
you should add SXC, the most profitable alt coin at the current diff generating around .50 BTC per day per 1G of hashing, plus is the only coin that has an industry (porno) helping develop the new client that will be released on the 7th. BTC is for the silk road what SXC is for the porno industry. You'll soon start seeing it as the only crypto coin accepted in porno sites around the globe. phenixex is already listing it and more will come, Don't be left behind
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TomPool][Alt Coin Multipool - ANC/DGC/EZC/FLO/GLD/GLX/GME/MEM/MNC/RYC/XNC] on: September 04, 2013, 03:46:01 AM
What exchange are they traded on?

https://phenixex.com/ so far. I heard coin-e will be trading it once they release the new client
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TomPool][Alt Coin Multipool - ANC/DGC/EZC/FLO/GLD/GLX/GME/MEM/MNC/RYC/XNC] on: September 04, 2013, 02:23:29 AM
Add SXC, the most profitable of all (while diff is somewhat low). trading at .0000350 with 100 per block that's .00350 per block. At 1 Gig mine its 6 blocks per hour  or BTC .021. That's almost BTC .50 per day. This applies to the current difficulty of curse. The porno industry has been involved in the developemnt of the new client that will be relesed on the 7th
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Official Sexcoin Thread - Trading On PhenixEX ! on: September 03, 2013, 04:47:15 PM
i can't receive the mining coin from the pool!

why?

Which Pool ?, How are you identified on it ?. How Long have you been mining ? How much Hash ?

http://sexcoin.lavajumper.com:9699

1M hash, any hours,i can't any coins!

other,i have sent some sxc to https://phenixex.com/ ,but i can't received! the local client have sent completed!

been mining on that pool for weeks with no problem whatsoever. Is a matter of fact I've been there for the past hours and have received coins
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Official Sexcoin Thread - Trading On PhenixEX ! on: September 03, 2013, 02:32:50 AM

And I get it, the "public premine" is ending. Coins will be harder to get, but it wouldn't last forever...

the good days were when i started mining it again with a diff of .03. lol.

Stuff it, I'm pushing Coins-E

great, now we the need the web girls on the client. Will it be out this week?

Last time I talked to Lava he said "tuesday or wednesday", but then he didn't respond for an hour because he fell asleep at his desk... I'm giving an "official" date of 7th of sept, but I don't know if it's good to go, just that he was testing again...

Now you go hassle Coins-E, and I'll check to see if CoinEx survived it's beta problems, and if it seems to be doing alright, I'll push it there..

BTW the client doesn't have a connection to webgirls.. I said we consulted webgirls on the client.. LMAO..

But Ravin Tavin will probably be useing it as soon as she knows it's hit an exchange..

if i understand it it will have links to where to spend the coins?

if you consulted it means it has adult features on it?

Just so there's no confusion on this point. The new client will not have anything like a video-chat capability. Nor will it have special conduits or web channels. Although those features are on the 'wish list', the client will have some fairly pedestrian features that other clients just don't have, and those features were told to us by both web-cam girls and other people in the industry as being 'critical' for adaptation.

Also, its looking good for Sept. 7th. Keep your fingers crossed.

751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Official Sexcoin Thread - Lavapit Beta, Zombie Bonus ! on: September 02, 2013, 05:54:53 AM
My apologies for lateness of the zombie bonus round, as of midnight my wallet wasn't finding a node so I couldn't send them out. Don't read too much into that, I'm at the ass end of the earth and my connection is like the old dial up with a couple seconds of lag thrown in just to make life extra difficult.

Also my hashrate dips to next to nothing for a while each day, again don't read to much into that either, It's not a dev jumping ship because he knows something you don't, It's a miner with his rigs overheating even though he's reduced his hash to 50%, and having to shut them down, which is fustrating when I think the days of easy mining are rapidly drawing to a close.

Finally, we've defied the odds.. There are coins on exchanges that are dead, and we are still rolling along.

We have had a Dev who wanted to go on an exchange, and was willing to change the name, and has not contributed to development for months. This "make a quick buck, just find some suckers to be bagholders" mentality is why so many coins are dead or dying.

Once you get your coin on an exchange and dump what you have, why spend all nighters solving problems?. Why have your wife angry because you spend so much time on the project? There's no profit in it for you anymore.

Finally I note most of the people who are in a rush to have a place to dump coins are pretty much "newbies", who weren't around for bitcoin and litecoin, and think that haveing so many cryptos is normal, and a crypto can be a success in a week. It can't, bitcoin didn't go to an exchange in a few days, and neither did litecoin.

From what I have been told we are looking at releasing the new client in a matter of days. From there we will try to push to the exchanges. Lava isn't going to dump, I'm not going to dump. Instead we start pushing websites. Think of how many websites accept litecoin. Now think of how many adult site's , from little sites like Lyno's to webcam sites to adult dating sites, are out there that need some sort of universal "token"... Thats where the real work begins..

And what would be the value of SXC when it far outstrips any other crypto in sheer number of websites using it ? But don't expect it to happen with a week, or a couple of months..

Finally if you are really impatient to get rid of your SXC, I'm buying, so PM me a fair offer...

P.S We are now ranked #11 in the popularity poll, 1 vote more than worldcoin and two votes away from megacoin.. Good work guys..

IMO the most important thing is to get exclusive contracts with the porno sites, otherwise using any crypto doesn't provide any advantage to SXC.

I'm sitting on a sizable amount of SXC and will not be dumping any once it goes on an exchange

the pool http://crypto-expert.com/SRC is claiming 150 MH/s but hitting only 7% of the blocks. How can that be possible? Its obvious a lie, the actual rate is around 25 MH/s

Any thread with 32 pages of "I cant get this to work" IS probably the fault of the wallet and a dodgy fail coin

more likely the stupidity of some posters that this community is full of. When people buy ASICs knowing (or should have known) that will be losing money I have no other words then call them stupid.  But at a time when every dummy has a voice on the internet there's not much we techies can do.

Create a  conf file  (c:\users\____your_user_name___\appdata\roaming\securecoin\securecoin.conf)
--- ALERT 1 - parenthesis are not part of the path
        --- ALERT 2 - securecoin.conf.txt is not a CONF file, is a TXT file
--- ALERT 3 - ____your_user_name___ is to be replaced by your ACTUAL WINDOWS USER NAME YOU LOGIN WITH

Now use your editor of choice (yes, notepad is fine, just don;t save it as a TXT file) and add this:

rpcuser= ______your rpc user name, it can be anything. It will be used to solo mine. If not solo just ignore all parameters starting with rpc
rpcpassword= _______ just pick a damm password
rpcport=6000 _______ this is the port your solo miners will connect to like http://127.0.0.1:6000
rpcallowip=192.168.*.* _____ this allows any solo miner on your network to connect.

It's pretty far fetched, but you never know.
food for thought

if a missile lands on a certain country (russia)  naval base or flies pass syria into another country (iran)  you can be sure there will be retaliation and all out war.

when fiat money,,  great future i predict

the colors shows the roots of the designer. For those of us with experience trading stocks, all crypto exchange sites with no exception are horrible with a lack of understanding of what trading is all about. For when a level 1 ticker? For when basic indicators like MACD  or SMA for example? For when Level 2 on popup windows?

"The most secure coin"

Lots of miners can't even download the blockchain to help secure the coin. lol

Its intentional and part of the so called "fair launch" added ALL the addnodes and wallet wont connect, the UPnP options is disabled in the windows QT client.
Worst launch this week, had expected more of Baritus but the aim of this fail-launch was obviously instamining..

go back to your looser coin kid, you may think we're all stupid people here, get a life kid

Dude go suck a goat or something, i like the coin i just dont like that its launched as semi-broken, do you?
If they can launch stuff like butterflycoin, androids tokens and any random recent release with a working wallet why could not Baritus launch Securecoin with a working one actually being able to sync?

unlike all other coins that were either premined you had larger blocks in the first thousands, this one had .5 blocks. Anyone that got the first few thousand got away with nothing. And you call that pre-mined? you kidding me right? The only problem I've seen with this coin was the first pool that went live. There were block issues but those are minor since the people with those problems (me included where the miner didn't work on all computers) didn't lose much

Quick update:

Working on changing the retarget time. Not a big issue.

Switchout is giving me fits at the moment. Mining clients switch fine, passive client are not switching correctly.....weird.

I'll keep you updated.

Also, I pulled my miner off to do the client testing. I'm sending it back in until the retarget.

i put my 2 miners at work, let me know when you ready to go back, Iwon't be here most of the extended weekend
758  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is it still worth getting a 5 GH/s Bitcoin Miner BFL? on: August 31, 2013, 12:03:12 AM
I received my 2 Jalapeņos today, one with the "2ghps upgrade".  I ordered 03-Feb-2013.

I doubt they'll ever break-even BTC-wise.

http://imgur.com/a/yWMMw

Looks like I'm in for a lot more waiting before I'll see my Little Single.

Edit: I paid 15.0912 BTC for the initial order, and then 0.8198 BTC for the upgrade.

I'm directing all mining proceeds from them to 1Mkew9NDU9S4XS7QPDrHrgzjRDp4bHGXgw.  You all can follow along and see when/if I break even.

i think you all miss a point, Jalo's are for fun. I'm still waiting on mine, probably will receive it in the next couple of weeks, and I'm not even worried about making a profit. It will run on 30 watts = $.11/day. It consumes about the same as your cable box that you have turned on 24x7.

1 block diff changes is the way to go give it 6 months and most coins will have it Smiley

The plain fact is somebody out there with a lot of hash is mining the bulk of the coins driving the difficulty up, then abandoning the network leaving the miners to crunch through difficult blocks meaning they get few coins, and then as soon as miners crunch through enough blocks to lower the difficulty and get a reasonable amount of coins, they rejoin raising difficulty again.

Miners then get fed up with getting so few coins, and abandon the network. Getting them back can be difficult as they feel negatively about the coin.

So yes, Zack, I get what you are saying, but the fact is that the coin might not survive long enough to release a new client with a lowered difficulty, losing miners is bad but not deadly, losing nodes is. And restarting and getting a good hashrate is difficult, so getting included on exchanges is more difficult. The present real hashrate is 900K/h. The rest is me and the seasonal heat will soon prevent me from contributing at all.

If I sound a bit pissed off, I'm sorry, theres been months of work put into this and while I don't mind someone profiting from that work, watching it get destroyed by their greed is hard to bear.

the big miner keep jumping on is what stopped me mining sxc as all I was doing was mining the difficult blocks so the big miner could mine easy again I would be happy to put some coins in if it helped get  new client with updated diff changes sooner Smiley

Exactly, and I don't blame you or anybody else for quitting the network.. It's common sense, which obviously this miner doesn't have unless he's intentionally trying to destroy the coin. But you can't throw code together, and release it because if there is a bug and the cleint stops working properly, then the coin is dead. Lava is testing a new client on a testnet, and that takes time, because he has to generate the blocks and see the client switch at it's predetermined block,  so the only help we could do with right now is keeping nodes up. If you have a wallet, keep it running.

I have mine running and I can throw of few GPUs at it with a lower intensity so I don't run a chance of burning the house while I'm away How many blocks do we have left until the diff resets?
