Guys, congrats for the excellent layout, but my stale rate is above the accepted rate. The ping is excellent at 21, so not sure whats causing it. Any ideas?

Hmmmm, that's weird, I have an increase in profit, when I switch to https://www.hashco.ws. Same hash power, VADIFF....Go figure  well I have a ton of stale/rejects on hashco.ws. Still testing the actual hash rate reported and payout |

we'll never recover the investment, so i've been waiting for them to go under .10. I'll just run them as a hobby. the 200 million diff may come in october, well ahead of the predicted end of the year. It looks like they are tied up with a very large inventory and will have to dump before they have to sell them at cost (probably .01 BTC). They will come with a 2 gig chip next I think that will sell at .3 BTC or so |

I believe the difficulty will go %10+ forever on every difficulty change.
I am not a technical man nor I have any knowledge on circuits but I think if asics managed this much raise, there would be some new hardware with much more higher hashrates , maybe they will still be asics but just 'better' ones.
this increase is all ASIC genenaration 1 coming to market. The second generation of .28 chips will start hitting the market in the fall. In regards to the price of manufacturing meeting the difficulty there's still ways to go. Remember the manufacturing cost of these USB sticks is around .01 to .02 (what a profit margin when they were selling them at over 2 BTC, talk about striking it rich with BTCs). The question that should be placed is when the manufacturers no longer think the profit margin is worth the trouble. So the 30% a period will continue for the foreseeable future. These sticks will be unprofitable (power cost = revenue) at 2 million difficulty, but you'll never recover your investment, you'll do it as a hobby. That's why they have lowered the price so much, they're trying to milk the last drop of milk out of the BTC cow and playing on the people stupidity into ordering 100s thinking they are smarter then the guy next door that is also ordering 100s. .08 is probably the lowest they will go before closing up shop or releasing a .28 chip |

This poll is broken. I voted for YACoin (besides other coins), now YACoin is removed from the list and replaced by Basecoin. I would never have voted for such a crap coin  There are some bugs with the poll, we're going to start a new one soon so people can vote again on the new coins. block loaded with no problems. received coins and sent them back with no problems. It only takes a couple of seconds WOW. Sending coins gave me an error that the amount would not be enough when adding fees, but it did, still it sent it anyway |

Now that we're up on an exchange, I was curious where I stand with this coin. So with the help of this nifty little tool, I was able to pull a list of the current coin balances of all addresses in the blockchain. This data was pulled as of block #138764. Bear in mind that a single person can own multiple addresses, so it's impossible to know exactly how many coins a person actually has. But it's pretty interesting nonetheless. Here it is for anyone that's curious: Excel Web AppI'm actually surprised, I thought there would be more big players than that. There's only 2 over a million, and less than 30 with over 100 thou. Upon further investigation, it seems this list doesn't properly display solo miners that have never moved their coins. I guess I don't fully understand the way the blockchain works. Anyway, it's all there, for whatever it's worth. Edit: Fixed the addresses in the doc yes, my solo mine address is not showing although the total number of coins appears to be about right. So many people assume LTC will be Bitcoin 2.0 which is a great contrarian indicator saying, with high probability, that LTC will NOT be the next Bitcoin and most likely it will be a coin most would never expect: such as ixCoin.
I seriously doubt more than 20 people on this planet are currently actively accumulating ixCoin. And I am one of them which makes me effing special!
The upcoming Bitcoin ETF should be a massive catalyst for all alt coins which should also bring about the next and new LTC. LTC may hit $30 on the Bitcoin ETF but 1,000% is nothing compared to what you can make if you do choose the next LTC or BTC.

i've been mining since early july. As the coin was under the radar the first week or 2 I was getting 66% of the coins with my 2megs. Needless to say I accumulated a nice number of coins that I'm not interested in selling. Because of its future use in the porno industry I believe the coin will have the highest value of all alt coins. No more worries of giving your CC # to a porno site, no need to worry if your other half will find a porno site visit on the CC. The future of this coin will be bright.
Potential future use in porn. We're not there yet. Just like bitcoin, we have to see mainstream adoption before we see the true value of the coin. i don't agree with you on this. Other coins have tried to create a universe (SPT for example) where the developer sells products (gold for example) at a price above market. SXC is the only use specific alt coin in existence today. As such, mainstream adoption will not happen. What will happen is people buying SXC to talk to web girls, to buy porno products, perhaps even to get an escort. It's safer for every party involved: no charge backs, no stolen CCs, no fights with other half, etc. I bet copycat scam coins will appear once they watch the success of SXC. Coins like EscortCoin, WebCamCoin, etc, will appear. |

I beg to differ, Neal.. The actual premine lasted from the 28th of May till the 2nd of September 2013, and consisted of about 16 million coins. It was open to anybody who was intelligent enough to see the potential of SXC.

because is by far the best reward ratio of any coin. yesterday was around .50 BTC/day with 1 meg. Now is around .25/day per meg. Once you release the new client and the porno industry starts accepting it the hash will be higher then LTC Yet we seem to have an uphill battle getting it on exchanges.... by the way, all exchanges without exception stink, all are hacks of people that has never traded in stocks in their life. They all go black (hint hint - experience or frequent visitors to hacker sites), they provide no trading tools like trading indicators, no ticker tape, and so on. I have really thought in developing an exchange the way it is supposed to be and I might if I can't find a job soon. |
