741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] iXcoin to become the Most Advanced Alternate Crypto Currency on: July 11, 2014, 02:22:41 PM

Say we have a company with a typical 20 million shares out standing.

So if we go with you bitcoin solution using mBTC, it will cost 12 million USD to use bitcoin to distribute the shares.

What about an iXcoin solution using mIXC, it will cost 2,200 USD to get the IXC to distribute the shares using a crypto currency.

With bitcoin and iXcoin you can go down to 1 millionth of a coin ( the rest will be considered spam).

So let's go to to that level with shares.   1 millionth of a bitcoin is, 0.00065.  1 millionth of a iXcoin is, 1.1e-7.
20 million shares (no fractional shares) costs $13,000 for bitcion.  20 million shares of iXcoin costs $2.2.

Now we are talking about the price of bitcoin today,  if bitcoin continues to go up, it would be uneconomical to use bitcoin for smart properties.

So IXC will be a victim of it's own success.  If IXC were to increase in value anywhere near BTC, then it will lose the advantage you talking about.

NEWS:

Winklevoss ETF to trade under the symbol of "COIN" on Nasdaq.

They wouldn't choose the symbol already unless they were sure they got the ETF.

Like I said last year and got laughed at and called insane:  The ETF was always a DONE DEAL.

The powerful diamond industry has been trying to get a Diamond ETF for nearly 4 years now, but still can't.

Riddle me that!  lol.

That means the ETF should start trading within ~3 months.
$10,000 BTC a guarantee within the first 6 months of the ETF.  And much, much higher within 12 months after that.

Here comes hundreds of billions of dollars from people's retirement funds (just in the first 12 months alone).  Don't be foolish to sell early, they're gonna pump everything into cryptos.

EVERYTHING!

Bitcoin Trading at $649 today.

Did you see the same bidder bought all the sheriff's coins on auction?

So I see the up and coming www.itbit.com exchange is using XBT for the Bitcoin ticker.....

ixCoin .org belongs to Thomas Nasakioto (he's MIA, Chillin' with Satoshi)

iXcoin .co is Friction's

iXcoin .eu is Luke's (he's has not been responsive at all)

iXcoin .club is mine....let's rock it!  Haha.

iXcoinFoundation dot everything are ALL mine.

If you build the site just let me know where you want me to redirect the iXcoinFoundation .org domain.

Put yourself on the site as the builder or you can even put a banner (in good Taste) for yourself on there as your reward.  Sorry we don't have a budget to pay you [right now].  But I expect after the summit next month you will be justly rewarded.

Much appreciated, brother!

You don't have a host provider?
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: June 25, 2014, 04:15:44 PM

PublicJud,

We own the iXcoinFoundation .org domain which is where the foundation website will be when it's complete, not iXcoin .co.

That said, I think it looks great, better than anything I could design.  If you can help improve it then it would be much appreciated, if you can't, then at least be constructive in your criticisms instead of acting like douchebags.

Much appreciated!

I am willing to set up a better website.  Put me in contact with the person....

Any information on the following websites?

http://www.ixcoin.eu/
http://www.ixcoin.org/
http://www.ixcoin.co/

Thanks!

i really hope this is a bad joke.  site looks like a 10 year old put it together Huh

~CfA~

Are you offering your help to make it better?

Thanks!

I am offering my help to make it better.  But I will need some direction as to who to contact.  Who controls www.ixcoin.co ?
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: June 24, 2014, 01:07:43 PM

Friction, new development for counterparty:

Announcement: Over the past few weeks, we've been doing a lot of work on the fee algorithm that Counterparty uses, and now transactions are effectively much cheaper than before. In particular, 'send' transactions can store all of their Counterparty metadata in a 40-byte OP_RETURN output, and you can now specify the exact fees paid for each transaction, as well as the default fee-per-KB amount, dust sizes, and so on. Multi-sig outputs need not be used, so no difficult-to-spend funds need to be sent back to your self at all.

This transaction is an example of a modern send transaction that cost only US $0.01 in fees, with a $0.03 output to the destination. It was constructed and broadcast with the following command: counterpartyd.py send --source=SOURCE --destination=DEST --quantity=1 --asset=XCP --encoding='opreturn' --fee=.00002, and it was confirmed almost immediately. If you're moving lots of assets around, or sending one asset to many users, you can use this script to automate the process and keep costs as low as possible.

Is this being done on the testnet?
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: June 20, 2014, 12:53:49 AM

Interesting trend.

iXcoin's massively secured hash network consistently above Devcoin now and quickly chasing down NameCoin.

And still selling for a measly $.03 cents USD.

If security is the biggest feature a coin can have [and few realize it is] then iXcoin is [by far] the cheapest Crypto-Coin on the market right now.

IXC is def the cheapest coin right now.  I'm not sure why price stays so low, but I got time to wait.
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: June 19, 2014, 05:29:44 PM

51% means you control the entire network just as if you have 90%.

And if you look closely you'll see that ghash.io in fact owns closer to 60% of the Bitcoin network.

Quick, dump your Bitcoins.

You guys still don't get it, this was never designed to be decentralized nor anonymous.  It was all a lie so get used to it; the banks, governments and corporations will run and control any winning crypto.

Period!

Enjoy the ride while it lasts!

If you own 90% of the hash, you have much more buffer until you drop below 51%.

do you know who GHash.IO is Vlad?

Buffer is a different story, but at 51% Bitcoin is no longer secure in any way and yet the price didn't even budge which means nobody cares.

Of course I know who Ghash is, they're on our Foundation Board and I have regular meetings with them.

Great bunch of guys.

They'll release more info about themselves very soon.  Full bios so don't stress.

I'm not stressing Smiley  I'm enjoying the ride!  And barking at the train, even though I know it will not stop....  And buying IXC as fast as I can....  and some other alts.

given its 2nd/third gen fatures iXCoin is a serious threat to Litecoin.  i wouldnt be bathing in shock if it were to exceed Litecoin marketcap within 3-6 months.

~CfA~

Correct. If we can execute on the proper updates while also getting the right partners [abd raising awareness] then Litecoin will look like cheap left-overs in a very short timespan.

Litecoin right now is a problematic investment in that its main feature, 'democratic mining' is gone with the advent of ASIC based technology.

iXcoin continues to be a viable due to its high hash rate.  That hash rate is secured by the participation of GHash.IO in the IXC foundation.   So there is a high level of assurance that iXcoin can't be compromised.

Look GHash.IO already has 51% of BTC mining but we trust them to secure BTC.  GHash.IO has like maybe 90% of IXC mining.  So trusting GHash.IO is a given for not only IXC but also BTC.

So Ixcoin has over 90% of it's hash from one miner?  How is that secure?

Is Bitcoin secure if GHash.IO has 51% of the mining?  If your answer is yes to this, then IXC is equally secure.

BTC with GHash.IO at 51% is not secure as BTC with GHash.IO at 44%!  BTC with GHash.IO at 90% would be less secure than even 51%.  Security is always a matter of degrees.  Why did miners move away from GHash.IO to make hash rate less than 51%?

Wow, what a waste of lifetime.

Are you under the impression I'm a 1 year old?

I'm up 800% right now on "my waste of a lifetime."

Not a bad hobby, eh?

The market is just not liquid though.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: May 28, 2014, 08:30:06 PM

Confirmation:  The large buys today were not an accident.  They were bought and are being planned for long term holdings.

Looks like the large sells at Cryptsy were also eaten up!

I know 2 of the big sellers.  I wish they had waited a bit longer.

Maybe they'll get to buy back in lower.  You never know.

You know the buyers and the sellers?

big red letters. IE is that you? Huh
No, I am not IE.

I supported Libertycoin, but it has descended into this.

I was watching IRC seeing everything from before the incident with IE and after.

I was logged in all day, even when IE, barrabas and everyone else was there.

I'm out of XLB now, as I said in a previous post in this thread.

The linking of that picture is totally out of order.

It is sick.

The stupid idiot couldn't even cut & paste IE out of the picture and post thta, that would have been ok.

But link, quite probably, his FAMILY?

That is way over the line.

Seriously guys, that is fucked up.

Honestly though is that IE? How would anyone know..
Even if it was.. how it is wrong? He put a target on his own back..

Hundred of people lost thousands of dollars by his tasteless actions
And he still continues at act like a child..

He deserves to have that information posted..
Maybe he will take a hint and walk away geek the guy has no shame

Unless the photo was obtained fraudulently, What is wrong with posting public photos?  It does seam wrong to me, but I'm looking for the principle.

http://blackponzi.com/ get in now, the pot is huge.

The pot might be huge, but you only get the pot if you are the last one to enter.  Your changes of getting 15% entering now are slim.
