742  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Delete on: October 18, 2018, 09:41:29 PM
Thread wasn't hijacked. You had people explaining and offering resources to aide you in this trade/conversation. You're in a collectibles forum where details matter (to the tune of $100s if not $1000s)... what did you expect?
743  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] NattyMind Eluetheria Samsara on: October 17, 2018, 08:42:44 PM
Time.is told me it was 21 GMT 1 minute after my auction (almost 2 hours ago), am I jumping the gun and incorrect about this? Woops, if that is the case then I am confused what's going on with Time.is/gmt for me Shocked

Disregard all of that then, and consider me the forum dunce for now.

You really need to slow down man. AT101ET will come into HIS auction thread and declare a winner, as happens with every single auction here ever. For some reason you already have coin escrowed when the auction isn't even over and AT10 hasn't even declared a winner.
744  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] NattyMind Eluetheria Samsara on: October 17, 2018, 08:36:08 PM
Oh, then there is no matching goddess to my Samsara; that's a tad heartbreaking. I didn't realize they went for .3 BTC each, that makes LC's offer for a matching pair for .4 quite an attractive offer. That's just face-value. I was assuming getting my hand on a Samsara would've been quite a challenge, but as time goes on I'm sure that will become more correct. You're like a walking, talking bitcoin collectibles encyclopedia; I appreciate you. Maybe someday I'll grab a matching set, for now I shall suffer with my pair-less Samsara Cheesy

Funds for the Samsara have already been sent to escrow, just waiting on AT101ET to come back online and finalize this.

Isnt there still 25 minutes left in this auction?
745  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Bitcoin magazine on: October 17, 2018, 05:42:43 AM
There are still some for sale from this website.. should also give you a ballpark price that these should go for.

Unsure if you can pay in BTC, I didnt type my info into the shipping page to get to payment.

I'd like to hear a response to these allegations.

Lot of integrity talk in your thread you scummed me in and then instalocked. Seems like locking threads/deleting things is your goto.

Here is the imgur link that that reddit user dug up with the photoshopped similarities.

Usually a public company would make a statement about their partner's actions.. I see you have taken down the more blatant ripoffs but one of the examples has now made it's way to special metallic print.

...Locked the topic after I gave you the opportunity to reply.

Let's remember the original reason why you are angry.

You had a small issue with a panel, your direct quote.

You wanted a completely different panel to be sent for free, and you keep the original.

Kind of like me going to Target with my Xbox, saying it has a small ding, and then saying well, I'll keep the Xbox, just give me a PS4 instead, it's about the same price and shouldn't be any different.

Makes no sense.

Was happy to stand behind our products and issue you either a refund or a replacement of the same exact item.  You refused this.

I was just re-double-get-appropriating your art. Picasso did it to Einstein once so I thought it was okay. Lets get back on topic here though, this is a thread for laminated paper for $150.

749  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Atmospheric Escape original painting by Ricky Allman with embedded Kialara on: October 09, 2018, 06:34:41 PM
Woaaaah!!! This is amazing! 7BTC is unfortunately out of my league, but I'd much rather have this masterpiece than the "destroyed" Banksy thing.

It's rumored that there is actually a rocket booster built into the bottom of Kialara's frame and if sent to auction and once the gavel strikes, a countdown begins... 3... 2... 1... strangely part of the roof retracts and Atmospheric Escape blasts off towards the moon.

Thread deserves pictures for non-link clickers.

Thanks for coming back into the community Bobby.. I know we got a little rough on you but it just goes to show how passionate we are about our collectibles. In the end when truths come out and our voice is actually heard (on topic of packaging) you know we still love ya and welcome you here with open arms.

Memes and insults aside you and BTCC_Official did very well with the few of us assholes :p I'm not like that all the time but when I feel wronged it brings out the inner dickhead in me.. thanks for being understanding.

Good luck with your talk.

Very nice set of items we don't see up for sale very often.

755  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Crypto platform to promote the arts of the unknown artists on: October 06, 2018, 03:58:41 PM
I definitely like your style of art and if it were crypto related and priced correctly I would be happy to purchase a piece. There are multiple ways to provide proof of ownership/transfer of ownership using various blockchains aswell.
teeGUMES thank you!
If it' not hard to you would you tell about some of these blockchains decision?

I in Russian thread was one idea. For example I can sigh message that I sold this art to the ... and verifed it with my BTC wallet.

I only have experience receiving ownership of a piece of art through:
https://codex-viewer.com/#/
this uses the Ethereum blockchain and if I ever happen to sell my piece it leaves a trail back to the original artist, then to myself as the first buyer, and finally to whomever buys it as being the newest owner.

there is also:
https://verisart.com/
but I have no experience with this one.

Sent in a full set, 2 Issue 22's hence the 23 magazines.. dimensions must have changed between Issue #1 and the rest, I didn't really look close enough to notice.

If you're looking to have a set graded don't go through the hassle and headache of packaging them and shipping them because they will not grade/encapsulate any of them besides Issue 1.

Well, you did better than me, you got 1 done!
I sent my set to them In early Agust and they didn't encapsulate anything:
https://i.imgur.com/AIsOES0.jpg

They have not answered any questions about when they can handle this.  I actually suspect that they may be uneasy getting into grading "bitcoins" since the parent company is NGC and they do not grade physical btc.

Ouch.. wish they understood the risks we are taking sending these.. only to have nothing done and sent right back. Can confirm my contact wasnt Maribel, but I think it's up to the graders that open them up.
758  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [PSA] Bitcoin Magazine Grading on: October 01, 2018, 04:20:24 AM
I'm not much into collectibles, but I have a feeling that the bitcoin magazines--especially ones that are graded--are going to be an extremely desirable piece of bitcoin history, and I'd imagine they'd command a pretty hefty price.

I remember before I registered on bitcointalk, the magazines were being produced.  I didn't think much of it at the time, as I was very skeptical as to whether bitcoin was actually going to be anything more than a scam.  Boy was I wrong, and I wish now I'd acquired some of those magazines.  Oh well.

I can't believe a magazine grading company can't accommodate slabbing of magazines of a variety of sizes.  That seems strange to me, but at least you got one of them graded.

I replied to see if they'll eventually get larger slabs, told him these magazine would be coming in more frequently (maybe not due to paying an arm and a leg).. will have to see their reply. I'm down to be their guinea pig. 1 slab and 21 non slabbed magazines just dont look as nice as a stack of 22 slabbed mags. Sucks cause I more than likely damaged the original packaging with tape due to thinking theyd all be transferred into slabs. Now I'll have to mylar bag them for sure when they get back, hoping they actually transferred them into mylar when looking at them.

Both 0.1BTC each

love the new slabs Cheesy

I am a big fan of the ICG slabs.  The curved indention on each side make holding them incredibly ergonomic and breaks the monotony of all the rectangles.

Same.  I just wish they would always put the hologram side facing front.  I'll send in a bunch of coins and they come back half and half.

Interesting.  I just sent in 10 coins and they all came back hologram as the reverse.

Someone needs to give them feedback and fix the BIT COIN and Bit portions, once they have that handled I really like these slabs.
