And removed them from my signature when they stopped their proof of solvency. Any site that isn't willing to prove solvency is somewhat suspicious, especially if they're holding investor coins.

I knew this was going to be a issue when I was posting on the forums about it days ago :-/ Good call on the signature pull.

Someone was saying they thought you lost 1000 coins.  I was thinking surely not, but you never know in this crazy fucking Bitcoin world.

Doog if I end up scraping up this site for cheap I'll of course tip you for your time. Thanks you for providing escrow bud.

I can sign a message with the address:

but I figure that just posting that it's my address is enough.

It's my address.

Tits.

Thanks doog and sorry if you lost any coinage today.

Way she goes Sad

I've bid 1BTC on this after Eric said in the troll box that I could. If this is the highest bid at the end of the auction Eric doesn't have to sell it to me since I'm under his reserve.  I just wanted to set a base for this auction cause this is a cool site.  Eric has also agreed I can pay him USD via troll box, but I'll bid in terms of Bitcoin.
7443  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: October 10, 2014, 06:14:02 AM
Just because espringe sells the website it's a scam? There were never any problems related to MP and I highly doubt there will be (until after the sale). That makes no fucking sense.

I do not think the site is a scam or espringe is scamming after talking to him.

I've placed a bid.

Maybe it's time to stop trusting these newer dice sites? After DiceBitco.in, you would think people would be more careful.

Watch another one pop up in a couple of weeks and everyone invest once again and get burned.

Just-Dice is gone, I really doubt we are going to see another trusted dice site that allows you to invest. Stick with primedice if you're gambling, they've been around for quite some time now and haven't had any major problems.

Honestly I think PRC is ok

I have nothing against PRC but this is not the time or the place Tongue

O yes back to talking about rolling dice or investing profits!

So what's the consensus? Do we have a runner or just a series of unfortunate events?

Everything indicates running atm.

I'm posting details on the review site as I get them.
7450  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: October 10, 2014, 03:10:16 AM
Same day dice.ninja and their sites go.

Didn't DMF help you a fair bit?  What connection does auction your site have to do with theirs if any or do all these dates just happen to be around the same.

There is no connection what so ever. My only involvement with DMF is that he lent me 25 BTC for the bankroll when i was on the verge of collapse. The site recovered a few days later, I paid him back (he made a sweet 7 BTC). And that was the end. The sale of Money Pot is unrelated to Dice.Ninja

I'm more thinking along the lines of the person who is extorting you possibly going after them.

Hopefully they didn't wack DMF and you are next.  If I was in your position I would maybe make a note with a lawyer about who or what is going on in case someone blasts you or some crazy shit.
7451  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.ninja - Now with Plinko! on: October 10, 2014, 03:08:09 AM

That's not true. I got booted from Amazon.

Bastards! Ok good to know though
7452  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice.Ninja and all of their sites offlined??? Was this planned? on: October 10, 2014, 03:07:04 AM
Moneypot is now up for auction too.  DMF helped them a fair bit.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Sure not trying to poke at you either, but it looks weird! Gl with your sale.
7453  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] MoneyPot.com is for sale! on: October 10, 2014, 02:08:26 AM
I call scam.

I do too.

I think they are making their way to the door cause Dice.Ninja did.

DMF was involved with this site too from what I read in the troll boxes.
7454  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.ninja - Now with Plinko! on: October 10, 2014, 02:06:02 AM
I don't expect this to be a run..... I wonder if something to do with GOV'T Regulation

He had talked about closing down in the troll box, but my fuck this isn't the right way to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!
7455  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: October 10, 2014, 02:00:25 AM
I'm assuming something unforeseen came up recently that is prompting this sale, since it seemed like the site was just beginning to take off. Care to share or is it a private matter?

Yeah, some rather personal things have come up today which pushed my hand. And right now I need a bit more stability and less stress. One mistake I made early on was to be too open with people as well as use my name to back the integrity of the site. This has been met in kind with scamming, theft, extortion, threats and harassment. For the last two days, I haven't been able to really use the internet at home due to most likely one of my skype contacts leaking my IP address to DoS my home connection. Now my, and my families full details have put out there publicly with threats against it. I simply can not be involved in this world anymore -- or safely hold onto an ever growing bankroll of untraceable coins that exceed the value of my life in this part of the world.

I also find myself holding onto a bankroll that is way to small to support the bets that happen on the site. When ever I lose money, I fear I'm going to go bankrupt. When ever I make money, I have 80% of the player base screaming vitriol about the site being a scam (it's a giant feedback loop, as everyone experience the same thing)

I have every intention of helping the new owner take the site to its full potential, it's incredibly rewarding seeing people play and love what I created  (just as i was writing this, i see someone reviewed the site: http://bit-vortex.com/reviews/moneypot/ which make it feel all worth while) -- and by no means will drop my baby now, which is why I'm offering 1 month of my time to help a seamless transition.  It's just that I no longer want to own this site.

Well, this is why we can't have nice things. We get a novel game which is being run honestly, and some jackwagon ruins it for everyone. Amidst all the scammers and their sites (ED, DB are two that come to mind), we have people harassing someone who isn't running a scam. Way to go guys! [Slow clap]

With a small starting bankroll and razor thin margin, I understand your apprehension with the variance. As we've seen, lesser folks faced with a similar scenario opted to cheat the players to guarantee their profit. I hope someone with a bigger bankroll (and stronger stomach) and your commitment to running the game honestly buys your site and continues it in the tradition you've established.

Just seems weird that Dice.Ninja bounces the same day this auction goes up....

I recall DMF helped a fair bit on MoneyPot right?

I assume this is going to need a serious code review if purchased.
7456  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.ninja - Now with Plinko! on: October 10, 2014, 01:52:46 AM

Could it be somehow related to this:

Quote
Prohibited activities or content include:

Illegal Activities. Any illegal activities, including advertising, transmitting, or otherwise making available gambling sites or services

No has nothing to do with that. Amazon has their head too far up their own ass to care.
7457  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SHUTTING DOWN] [DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge] on: October 10, 2014, 01:19:51 AM
Has anyone made an offer on the site?

Fuck no lol

In other news:

Appears Dice.Ninja pulling some "ninja moves".

And Moneypot is trying to sell their site for some reason that probably has to do with DMF's involvement in their site!

Exciting day.
7458  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.ninja - Now with Plinko! on: October 10, 2014, 01:15:32 AM

Do not deposit any bitcoins to them until Dooglus signs a message to show it is his.

This owner worked with Dice.Ninja a fair bit and it appears the could be possibly running.
7460  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice.Ninja and all of their sites offlined??? Was this planned? on: October 10, 2014, 01:04:48 AM
I hope it's not another scamjob  Undecided the bank for darkdice.net was just over 10240 DRK & 10k DRK was just dumped on cryptsy just as they went offline today.

I think it is thus far.

Called this shit yesterday.

Moneypot is now up for auction too.  DMF helped them a fair bit.
