7481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you trust a new cryptocurrency? on: September 26, 2018, 08:33:20 AM
There are so many coins being created but the only thing that makes me believe it is the kind of team of the project and also the people managing their bounty for them.

Actually, I used to think the same, but lately after my last year's experience with ICOs, and this year participating in some community programs, I could almost say that people managing bounty does not mean anything. Bounty managers except for the few managers on this forum do not care about the project, they do their work and get paid regardless what happens after ICO.

You want good projects? Look for non ICOs. Proper devs. Decent and helpful community. If the project thread has nothing but shillers,,, forget it.
7482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [GUIDE] Main information about the most popular exchanges! on: September 26, 2018, 08:08:57 AM
About Yobit I will add that it isn't updating blockchains and so you can risk to buy coins that are not on the main blockchain.
This due the fact they ask 0.5 Btc for maintenance or mandatory updates.
So if the coin team don't pay them .... you will find an old blockchain on the exchange.

I agree if Yobit is troubled because there have been many reviews on forums and social media about Red Trush from this exchange, Yobit has also been known to list any existing Shittcoin.

Haha Red Thrush, you maybe want to edit your message. Yobit is a bad exchange that is getting worse, but then so many exchanges have red trust and still do business.

Shitcoins? Any exchange you see lists shitcoins. If a coin is willing to pay a big fee, you think any exchange will say no? Trust me my friend, all the exchanges are making profit. They do not care if it is a shitcoin or better than Bitcoin.

Oh and 0.5 BTC fee? That is cheap. Try ask Binance for listing fee and get shocked.
7483  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [ANN]MobileBridge Momentum - Revolutionising Marketing & Loyalty. Sale 26.04 on: September 25, 2018, 09:04:16 AM

7484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bottom is near... on: September 25, 2018, 05:15:01 AM
I know just one rule - in the bull market you will never guess accurate top, in bear market - accurate bottom. So, it is always wisely to leave some fiat to catch next bottom.

That is pretty much correct. And I think, even if we have reached the bottom, you do not know when the bull will come. For example it was June that the last bottom for Bitcoin was reached and in July and August and September we saw altcoins like ETH hit the bottoms. Maybe ETH will never go below $200 again, but maybe it will just be sideways or hit $400 or $500 before just sitting below that for months maybe even one year.

You just cannot predict anything with certainty.
7485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 24, 2018, 09:07:04 AM
1 win for Spurs and we still have hope to turn things around. I do not care Kane did the penalty for goal, it is still a goal and he needs the confidence to help the team climb back up. Predictor performance is improving, nobody would guess for the Chelsea draw so whoever got that right deserve some applause.

Strange to see Watford and AFC Bournemouth above and below Us and Manchester United and Arsenal. Just good thing we have goal difference at this point, can you imagine United with 0 goal difference after 6 games?
7486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ICO's should accept more altcoins other than ETH and BTC on: September 24, 2018, 05:28:52 AM
Fiat currencies? How whatvkimd of ICO is this that you are talking about?

You must not have seen ICOs recently then,,, a lot have accepted fiat payments. Never seen Paypal but almost every big ICO based on existing business or already functioning business entity have included card payments (Visa and Mastercard) and even bank payments. In a sense, this is "easier" for them because almost all the crypto they get they will liquidate anyway.

If you think about it saves fees from people buying crypto and then the ICO selling it. Maybe this helps reduce the false buy/sell volumes for crypto.
7487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [LIMITED OFFER] Incredible .com domain for sale -- CryptoBounty.com [ 4.5 BTC ] on: September 24, 2018, 03:59:19 AM
Premium is bounty.com,,, sorry to say. Because if I go online I will never search crypto bounty, just bounty. In which case okay, it is not premium, it is just typical.

Also, everybody does already know where to go for bounty, and you do not really get referrals so who would want to put up that domain except bounty managers? Then again,,, 4 BTC is okay.
7488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whale alert tool on: September 23, 2018, 05:50:47 PM
How will it detect manipulation or wash exchanging? For example a whale could move a lot of money in circles just to make that tool give out an alert, especially if it knows a lot of people are watching it,,, and then after desired effect is achieved, just move away? I do see some usefulness in this, but every tool is open to abuse or in fact encourages it when people know the tools help people make decisions.
7489  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [ANN]MobileBridge Momentum - Revolutionising Marketing & Loyalty. Sale 26.04 on: September 23, 2018, 10:03:26 AM
kebanyakan ngikut event2 besar memungkinkan tim lupa mengadakan penjualan Cheesy
Terlalu lama juga akan berakibat investor berpaling ke proyek lain,Semoga apapun yang di lakukan tim mampu membawa MobileBridge menjadi proyek yang berkembang.

Haha, jangan risau kawan.

7490  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 7200 on: September 23, 2018, 09:32:44 AM
Professional chart readers? Where are they hiring because I would love to be a professional chart reader. I do it almost every day actually Wink

But to be serious,,, 7200 is only $500 or less than 10% of where it is today. So yes, it seems like a possible next target. And we have reached here recently already so it is very possible to happen. My only doubt is that there are plenty of orders waiting to sell at 7100, or even 7500 so if Bitcoin reaches there too soon, without support, we will see sell offs again.
7491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 22, 2018, 12:12:34 PM
Watford have had a really impressive start to the season. They are looking pretty good against Fulham, but they do look vulnerable on the counter attack. I'm thinking a score like 1-3 to Watford looking at this game.

Yes Watford are good and this is from a Spurs fan. We lost to them 2-1 and even that 1 goal was an own goal.

And the way they lost to United still makes them look good,,, which in the end is what makes the team great, when the supporters are happy after a loss. I had very high hopes for my team Spurs to make it but after losing 2 games in a row, and then Inter defeat, we are all very worried, especially when we lose because we did not play well.

I love my team so of course I hope they can make it big somehow, but I do not want another 2nd place or 3rd place it is heartbreaking,,, better to get 4th place but win FA cup or Europe. Even Europa league if we drop from Champions League. That is not the talk of a fan I know but the reality is we are all very tired the players. Kane cannot play every game to the max. And he should not be expected to do that.

Thanks for the reminder! I was sure I got my picks in but I hadn't so all in now for the next 3 weeks.

Even when Palace are struggling Zaha always looks somewhat impressive. When they were against Liverpool? A few weeks back I remember him being the only one threatening. Honestly, I can see a bigger team coming in for him in the future. Even if he's only used as a backup for one of the top 6 teams. He's definitely capable of coming on, and scoring. Especially against tired legs.

Wasn't Zaha from United before? I didn't recognize him from his face and I looked him up and he recently complained about being alone in his time at Manchester and was even loaned out after Ferguson bought him. Didn't even realize until I read him up now that he's no longer an England player (how is it possible people switch nationalities like that??).

He reminds me a little bit about guys like Jermain Defoe. Always reliable to score, and always gets bought by teams like Crystal Palace. I thought Benteke would also be that type of striker but good luck to him. I have a small heart for those type of underrated goal scorers.

I loved Defoe he was always good for our team. We have Kane now but you could always count on Defoe for goals. It is very difficult for English players now, they have to be superhuman to play for the club and then get disappointed in country games.
7492  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin ready to pump (september 2018)? on: September 22, 2018, 08:37:42 AM
Check the increase for today.

+$200 and everyone is ready for the pump and has been waiting for this increase but we can't say if bitcoin is ready to pump.

It will take time to pump but we shouldn't be in a hurry, last year it only took few weeks when bitcoin pumped that much until it reached $20,000. And hopefully the same will happen again so we can have a happy holidays again.

+200 is only not even 3% but in a way, this makes more sense to me than those who said 50% pumps or even 100% pumps are the signal for altcoin bullrun (like we all know everybody is saying with Ripple/XRP).

For me,,, we have just had so many false hopes so we should by now understand and accept that this is the price we will be having for a long time now. There is no bull run when it has not even been 1 year since the last one.
7493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GLOBAL REIT - THE FIRST EVER BLOCKCHAIN BASED REIT on: September 21, 2018, 04:44:17 AM
Global REIT. This is now the seventh week we have waited for distributions. Since week 3 of waiting when I could not wait any more and asked in Telegram, you have been giving the same answer and excuse.

Now I see your team is busy doing promotions,,, events,,, and talking to exchanges,,, take care of your supporters and community first. I see many complaints in Telegram. People who ask for refund did not get it. People who invested still not seeing updates and no dividends. People like me still no distribution. You keep saying finalizing. Soon. Be patient. You guys raised >10 million dollars. This is very shameful and unprofessional for a reit. Take care of your supporters or you will soon see them file complaints in your country.
7494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool £25 in btc to join on: September 20, 2018, 07:54:15 AM
It seems your lack of knowledge was an advantage after all,,, and my stupid team spurs forgot to open their eyes in the last 10 minutes to lose to Inter Milan, of all teams.

To be fair, it wasn't just the last 10 minutes. Passing it around in the back waiting for an opening clearly wasn't working at the start of the game, but for unknown reasons they just kept doing it, instead of switching up tactics. Subbing Kane off and Rose on to try to salvage 1 point was a strange decision, and turned out to be a terrible one when you conceded again immediately.

I really think you guys are going to struggle as the season goes on - you have no way of resting most of your key players because you didn't sign anyone.

I know we did play badly and it is getting worrying. Especially when some supporters try even to blame our jersey Sad

I think this season we might even have to watch another Totteringham celebration,,, most of us kept quiet when the transfer window close silently, I mean, we got so many good players, but no covering players,,, Kane is good and all that but we cannot keep relying on him, and it makes him feel pressured if he cannot score.

So,,, 2 nights, 2 major upsets for English teams.
7495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum speculation on: September 20, 2018, 05:01:41 AM
yes, we all pray that eth will return to its original price and will improve even more, sir.
I do agree with what you said about the recovery of ETH but I always love the statistics and my speculations about ETH is that it will recover slowly till it crosses the $1000 value. Once ETH is all above the said value, it will pace up and will cross the highest value it had touch last year in the next year.

In case it did not recover till the end of the year. The ultimate dependence is on the market of Bitcoin as well because BTC market affects the rest of the market as well.

What I do not really understand about people who buy coins like ETH,,, is that you guys know and admit the ultimate dependence is on Bitcoin's market and performance. So why do you still go into altcoins and not just stick to Bitcoin?

I mean I myself even got ETH around $400 finally, so now I am about 50% in losses to the current price, but I only got in because of the value that dropped so much, same as most alts I bought this year except for the ones I actually like and use. ETH was a pure profit hoping move. Just that I could not expect that buying at below 30% of ATH would still lose 50% more value!

This is when I found out I have no idea who some of the teams are Wink

Yeah, I know even less about the Champions League than I do about the Premier League, so expect some wildly inaccurate predictions coming out of my end.  Grin

It seems your lack of knowledge was an advantage after all,,, and my stupid team spurs forgot to open their eyes in the last 10 minutes to lose to Inter Milan, of all teams. Italians supposedly are easy to play for English teams, because they are defensive but Inter played so badly and yet Spurs could not take advantage! If they at least won maybe I have 1 or 1.5 points more for the leaderboard.

Still, I am not so upset with my performance so far,,, we shall see how tonight the games play. It is interesting to predict a draw or even upset win for Young Boys who I never knew existed until this Champions League. Mourinho, do not bore us.
7498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP price leaps nearly 20%, leaves investors confused on: September 19, 2018, 05:21:02 AM
The only big news I could see recently about Ripple is more cross border banking news on the Ripple network, although this time it also mentioned that it will use XRP, unlike before where nobody needed or was talking about using XRP,,, then again all this news has failed so far to take effect on price.

Looks just like more volume and people wanting to stock up on XRP. Maybe someone or someones are sensing the bull market returning in 2019? You never know with these things.
7499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 18, 2018, 07:40:47 AM
After all, this recent bloodbath the price of Monero has resisted well. I remember that for some time it was similar to the LTC. Now it's double. Not that this comparison is worth anything, but it is a simple way to compare.

There was a great fall with the hunt the anonymous coins by the authorities of Asian countries. But in those two weeks besides resisting the falls still rises above average.

Monero is undoubtedly the only anonymous project. Still has several difficulties. But my theory is that some people are selling BTCs from their exchanges in an attempt to escape from KYC and to leave no trace they choose Monero.

This shows that eventually, monero will outperform other projects as the standard currency of those seeking freedom and privacy.

That is the real takeaway from everything I ever see about Monero, same as Bitcoin, the resistance to negativity. I agree we should not be looking at comparisons as they cannot predict the future outcome but we can learn about how strong Monero is in the face of bad developments and how quietly it always moves as it grows ever in adoption and use.

Absolutely people will choose Monero when they want a privacy coin. They can always go for ZEC, Dash, whatever,,, but in the end, you cannot beat XMR's acceptance.

I joined the link in my PM and I signed up to the pool for Champions League. This is when I found out I have no idea who some of the teams are Wink Champions League last season many surprises yes? So I will check this group stages for 1st round to follow more or less the predictions,,, and after realizing how teams play I will change my tactics.

Good luck to all. Don't meet Spurs so early or you will regret Smiley
