Link? Cheesy

I dunno about that, I don't think I want to use anything particularly pre-made I think the only thing I've done that's pre-made so far is use the Codeblocks OpenGL sample to get all the window setup that I need because the tutorials I've looked at are outdated with some of the stuff they have. I did notice some VK commands for all the keyboard stuff in the compiler so I'll have to have a look at the syntax involved with that so I can make stuff move.

Edit: AHA! Nehe seems to be very good with this stuff and it's just what I need, IF commands ftw! Cheesy

Shame Sad These are promising ideas but at least we know now.

I'm afraid Jon Stewart was right about this sort of thing, been glancing over this situation and it's a classic case of American partisan bickering, it's not really the level of persecution that Libertarians faced when they tried voting in the GOP but it's the two mainstream parties taking pot shots at each other. In this case it's simply over taxes involved in the political parties, I don't think that a lot of the groups cited really represent the kind of beliefs that we all stand for because the tea party etc. got hijacked by neo-conservatives a lot just like the Republican party did years ago.

Have to admit, I think I'm starting to really enjoy messing around in OpenGL Cheesy I just need to figure out how to make it interactive.

Either that or you're a random1234 username that's been planted to make it look like there's someone sticking up for him.

what's a good hash rate for these things anyway?
7528  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: PowerCoin - Join and feel the POWER! on: May 14, 2013, 11:38:54 AM
Is mining a pain in the arse with this alt currency as well?

Edit: Just looked and yes it is >_< Good luck though lol.

Wow hahaha. Are you sure half board fell for it? Didn't everyone get their hopes up?
Though I kinda expect lot more of copycats.

To be fair it was pretty convincing, they even personalised the messages a bit and changed them around from what I've seen to make it more genuine, first time in awhile I've almost fallen for something like that, there are legit lotteries on this board and such so it's easy to see why people might fall for it.
7531  Other / Meta / Re: Request for new Child Board of Off-Topic on: May 14, 2013, 11:02:45 AM
Call it a reputation board, I bet you that parents will make the mistake of letting there kids onto that section if you call it child board Tongue
7532  Other / Off-topic / Re: Has Anyone Ever Thought About Cashing out And waving a permanent "bye" to BTC? on: May 14, 2013, 11:01:04 AM
I think I will only ever sell Bitcoins as needed for things like bills where I can't pay in Bitcoins yet, because of how much paper money is being printed right now and how governments are constantly fucking up things they do then it's always wise to keep at least some in safe keeping, the same with gold and silver.

Bought some of the cheaper finished chain myself and they look really nice, you can also get jump rings with the price in weight, be wary of the VAT and postage costs on this site though.
7534  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dollar rate stablizing hopes on: May 14, 2013, 10:44:50 AM
All this means is the money printing isn't having that much of an affect just yet to me, I think while the price certainly is becoming more stable as more people adopt, it's also going to go a lot higher, I think a more accurate way of measuring the stability of digital currencies is to compare them against each other rather than compare a digital currency against a paper one.
7535  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS - Frontier Space Manga, Digital Goods, Necklace for sale! More to come! on: May 14, 2013, 10:39:46 AM
Some interesting news folks, my teacher recommended me this site for Cabachon gemstones: http://www.kernowcraft.com/

With this I'll be able to make much better quality gemstone settings and I have decided to try the site out and have a really nice variety of gemstones coming in, I'll be sure to post some photos of the gemstones and the finished products for you to have a look at, all these necklaces will be the same 0.7 BTC price.

To check things out I have ordered:

. 1 Peridot

. 1 Emerald

. 1 Sapphire

. 1 Garnet

All of these will be 3mm Cabacon's, colours will be varied so there will be a selection of necklaces to choose from.

Looks like a classic douchebag, I have to give credit to scammers, at least they have some class and wit.
7537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First "regulated" bitcoin exchange to be in the UK? on: May 14, 2013, 09:33:51 AM
Please stop posting links to these crappy sites that ask you for money or put up splash screens demanding you register, the way to beat these people is to never visit their sites or use adblock.
7538  Other / Politics & Society / Re: IRS APOLOGIZES FOR TARGETING CONSERVATIVE GROUPS on: May 14, 2013, 09:20:22 AM
You do have tax exempt status! Just don't tell anyone you have Bitcoins Tongue
7539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 1 Free Bitcoin Giveaway! on: May 14, 2013, 09:07:19 AM
Be suspicious of people like this, Anyroll set up a similar sort of thing and it turned out to be a phishing scam.
7540  Bitcoin / Mining / What does everyone think of these miner rental sites? on: May 14, 2013, 08:34:28 AM
Obviously some of them will be scams but I'm curious because this could actually be a legit way for miners to earn money and to help out people that can't stand the idea of mining like me, in turn all going towards the network. I think I have some math to do to see whether or not this is just a flashy dividend scheme where you send them a lot of money and get very little in return, there also seems to be cloud mining out there now but that just looks like the same sort of thing but with some marketing hype.

https://cloudhashing.com/

BTC Cheap seems a bit more legit to me because they're being honest about how much you're getting but I thought we could have a discussion about it regardless, it looks like there are some quite interesting ideas of growing BTC coming out of the woodwork that might end up being helpful to newbies, maybe there are some altcoin sites like this that I don't know about.
