Wow.. my new term for shitcoin pushin scammer, "eduffield", is really catching on ! hahaha

If I'm wrong.. they why didn't you just fix the exploit ?

"I dropped the stake reward from 1000 to 1 because ... " Roll Eyes

There was no fixing, the lottery was inherently broken and unfixable.

Suggesting the reward was 1000 is misinformed. It was a max of 1000, and a min of .1, and the overwheming majority of blocks were .1 reward.  Doog posted the chart where inflation increased after the lottery was stopped, you can look back to the last page or two to see it.

I do not need to be a coder to know that its only code !

Those "in the know" used the same excuse 3 years ago when they duped some/most of the community into thinking that scrypt asics were an impossibility.

Would you like to try again ? Roll Eyes

What do NetCoin, Stakeminers and Cryptsy have in common ?

They are all fully exposed scams with connections to Leroy Fodor aka. BigJohnson cyberpinoy.

Leroy Fodor has gone Full Delusional; StakeMiners is 100% confirmed insolvent!

Nice follow through on that eduffield btw. Roll Eyes
The DRK/DASH shills used the very same tactics when it came to down playing concerns, skewing the facts and/or ignoring the obvious.
You somehow missed the fact that the reward reduction was much greater than 200x. "In short"... ANY reward reduction is a big fucking deal and Dooglus' "You can easily buy large numbers of CLAM on the open market.", makes for some stanky icing on this Clammy shitcoin cake.

Stake inflation was made linear and slightly increased after the update you reference.

Your claims are not only plainly inaccurate; they are the exact opposite of what occurred.

OK, I see what he's saying: stopping the lottery reduced the reward from 1000 CLAMs to 1 CLAM per block, so that means the lottery system was like a pre-mine.

Maybe this chart can help show the reality of the situation. Pay attention to how the green supply curve changed when the lottery staking system ended on October 25th last year:

Hint: stopping the lottery caused the supply to increase much more quickly than before.

If he spent more time attempting to communicate his confused point and less time trying to think up new ways of insulting people's icing preferences we could have resolved this little misunderstanding much more quickly.

Confused ? We aren't. Tongue

The lottery continued on for almost two months after your last reported big win. How many more big wins did you mine ?

What percentage of the total CLAM supply did you "win", by the time the fork came into effect ?

oh yeah someone won a lottery again 663.74264776 block 86690

That was me:

@dooglus
congrats... I guess you're making alot ฿฿ or perhaps $$ out of CLAMs
If I may know, how many of your outputs getting staked everyday?

I've never sold any CLAMs - so what I'm making out of CLAMs is a lot of CLAMs. lol.

I'll probably hold them until they're worthless, or worth a fortune - same as I do with BTC.

I don't know how to count the number of stakes per day without counting them myself - there are lots.

Here's a screenshot of the most recent stakes to give you an idea of the frequency of staking:

Then nothing staked until 17:21. So I guess about 20 per hour, or around 500 per day. I have a feeling that the screenshot shows an unusually good hour though, so maybe it's half that. But with the lotto wins as well I'm sure the average is higher.

That was your take with a single wallet. Since the fork, is it safe to assume that you have been able to maintain the status quo seen above ?

Does the term cryptofiat mean anything to you ?

Do these people who already own 95% of the CLAMs get a vote, or only the people who have their CLAMs in the JD bankroll?

If you already scam people with DOGE, BTC or LTC you can do that again with CLAM. Something is obviously wrong here. And CLAM is big only because of Just-Dice.com. That's the fact. Just look at the price chart.

All those hacked DOGE web wallets, Bitfunder, BTC web wallets... are next.

I'm mad because I didn't mined BTC in 2009.

It became "big" soon after the fork which ensured their strangle hold on the coin supply.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623147.msg9314100#msg9314100

In other words, they pulled "an eduffield".

I looked back and I don't see anything egregious about that change. In the lottery era the rewards were usually 0.1 per block but occasionally higher. When the change to a flat 1/block was made, the claim from SuperClam was that the average under the lottery was very close to that. I did not mathematically test this claim but roughly speaking it doesn't look incredibly far off to me.

Looking at the staking graph, it seems that other than a bit of increase (still not enormous) due to the exploit, the rate of staking increased after the change.

In short I don't see anything like the situation with another coin you point to where, due to a combination of claimed bugs and specification changes, early participants received rewards 200 times what is being paid out now.

If someone has different information I'm interested in hearing it.

If there is one guy i would vouch for is Horus. (from Canada)
He is probably the cleanest of them all and the guy with the best attitude.
I'd go hunting for Beaver with him LOL

The only thing i have seen sketchy about him is before he was added as staff he had a coin made for him by Shakezulu..
Hobonickels
And he used to solicit people on chat for hand out's with his homeless bum moniker (TheHobo i think it was)
He had a whole shtick going on where he would pan handle on chat (while staff banned any one else doing it)
OR.. he would offer to shill / spam / advertise around your coin for a fee.

Of course he wants to forget about that but i don't  Cool

So yeah.. that is your staff member Horus. LOL

He's a nice guy though and he was just starting out like me trying to rub two coins together.
I have no ill will towards that guy.. he often was the only one over there that i felt treated me fairly.

The more you gab.. Spoetnoob, the more you sound like some damage control shill. By my very conservative estimate, Horus the canadian masonic crypto hobo frauded people out of tens of thousands of dollars... AND YOU HAVE SOMETHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THAT MAGGOT ?

You missed the part about the "Holiday Crypto Fundraiser!!" scam that helped blow his sock(s) cover.

Mr. Steiner aka. BayAreaCoins, is a narcisistic sociopath who should not be trusted and /or taken seriously.

Please read his trust ratings and decide for yourself.

This coin, like every other shitclone these cryptsy/polo/early adopter/insiders have put out, is a scam and no different that the others.

First the reward reduction(s), then the wallet diggers... and now we have this epic struggle between Dooglus and BayAreaCoins, that will further FUD/exploit the greedy noobs into trading their wealth for cryptofiat.

You left out the negative trust know-it-all-doomsayers who post for no other reason than to see their own reflection while exercising their other hand.

Show me where I've been wrong...

and.. are you related to snakey ? lol

In 2001, Schmitz (Kim Dotcom) bought €375,000 worth of shares of the nearly bankrupt company Letsbuyit.com (de) and subsequently announced his intention to invest €50 million in the company. The announcement caused the share value of Letsbuyit.com to jump and Schmitz cashed out, making a profit of €1.5 million. One commentator suggested that Schmitz may have been ignorant of the legal ramifications of what he had done, since insider trading was not made a crime in Germany until 1995, and until 2002 prosecutors also had to prove the accused had criminal intent.

I advise to be cautious and consider moving your coins etc to another exchange such as Bittrex or Poloniex.

It's impossible to move coins, i have 5 stucked withdrawals for LTC, BTC, BTCD and i see many people in the chat having the same issues.
You can even say they are insolvent in their chat and nobody will ban you.
They are gone!

The death of crapsea will be a huge step forward for the cryptocommunity.

EDIT: they just banned me.

Please ignore the nazi sympathizing maggot/ crytpsy insider. Wink

While I can't prove it yet, Polo and Bittrex are most likely clones/spinoffs of cryptsy and/or run by it's insiders.

DO NOT TRUST ANY OF THE ALT EXCHANGES.
777  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: November 09, 2015, 01:44:22 PM
I can't believe this is happening over and over again. I was able to withdraw everything from cryptsy as soon as I realized they were having "troubles". But we can't rely on such exchanges. We do need decentralized exchange now.
The sooner the better.

We have a decentralized exchange...  this forum...

Although the forum itself really needs a bit of work imo for it to be used mainstream beyond what it already is...

Much more than that!

However I use to follow this thread

And then one day something started moving and we arrived to openbazaar.

This is what I'm talking about. I'm sorry but this forum can't do the job.
