Whats with the freebitcoinz.com ?  Are they paying? I am on 34000 sathosis now and waiting to reach 100 000 to be paid.

No, still not paying. If they don't pay soon they will be removed from the list.

767  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory - Discussion Thread on: March 04, 2014, 10:54:47 PM
Hi,

After doing further research I have discovered that my transaction size was too large for the 0.0001 transaction fee paid. This was a standard transaction fee set by Armory (My bit coin Client) my Transaction size is 9615 (bytes) so that's nearly 10 Kilobytes which means my Fee should have been 10 x the amount I paid.

I am really annoyed that I wasn't automatically prompted to pay this amount when I did the transaction, and now my money is just stuck in the network trying hard to find some miner (or mining pool) that is generous enough to include my cheap transaction instead of other transactions that pay a higher fee per kilobyte.

As such is there anyway to cancel this transaction so that the Bit Coins are returned to my Wallet? I want to be able to re-send this again without double spending, but this time with a higher transaction fee so it will confirm through the network more quickly.

I have been told that it may still confirm but I could be waiting upto 10 days, the merchant cant wait that long to receive his money.
If I had know I would have increased the fee to 0.001 without hesitation... this is really frustrating.

I have been told that there may be a way to remove the transaction from the wallet and the block chain, or Eventually (usually within 2 to 4 days) if the transaction isn't confirmed, it will be dropped from the memory pool of the peers and the coins returned?

I've had this happen with other clients and after 3 days got the coins back.

http://freebitcoin.su/ (on LoB rotation) coming up with "insufficient funds" today.

That site is not on the list.  I don't recommend using any links that may appear
on the various sites in the list. Only the sites themselves which give out BTC
from their own faucets have been confirmed to be legit, not anything else they
link to.

Judging by the logo, that appears to be run by the same person/group who has some
other dubious sites that mimic the look of freebitco.in and have been determined to
be untrustworthy by the community.

Consider adding www.dailyfreebits.com .We have integrated Microwallet.org API and lowered minimum payout to just 3500 satoshi and have paid over 0.08 BTC to our members so far.

Since faiza1990 and ppetrovic68 confirm payout I will add it on the next update. But also...

I was just wondering... why would you even have minimum payout for Microwallet?

Thanks for the notice.

772  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Official CaVirtex.com Thread on: March 04, 2014, 02:00:18 AM
I cant believe that you guys are still using and trusting an exchange where everyone who works for the exchange uses fake names!

One day this will cost them their spot on top of Canada's bitcoin game.

Care to explain what you mean by that?

I mean each and every rep for the company uses an alias. Do you really believe that the names they use are legit?

Also, you cant find any info on Joseph David. No FB, Twitter, ect. It is only an alias, also the address they use is not a real office.. its a POBox. The "call center" they have is actually just some people who work from home probably in their underwear.

I doubt Virtex will be top spot in 2 years from now. I have heard rumors about a new Canadian exchange backed my Canadian entrepreneurs who already have real world experience in the finance space and they are looking to drop a lot of money to build a trustworthy Canadian exchange.

That's just my $0.02

I doubt FINTRAC would let them register as an MSB without identity proof, and their address seems more than just a PO Box:

Awesome, congrats guys! This is exactly what I always wanted to see and hear from you, I can't wait for the monthly newsletters. Even more, extremely excited for the site redesign! Very happy to have remained a shareholder on this day.

Ya, but I wonder with the talk of their new "strategic investors" if our shares will not be diluted away to nothing.

Till today, my wallet is zero even I mining nonstop.  Cry

Yes, the days of average people getting much from mining are long past I am afraid
( unless one buys some shares in some big company with monstrous asic farms,
and one has to be careful... there is a lot of shading ones out there ).

And of course using these faucets are not a way to make much BTC either... that
isn't really the point of this list...

What good is it if one only gets very very small amounts?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=74046.msg1088930#msg1088930

The best way to get involved is to buy some. It is still early days. We are all still early adopters. There is still a lot of upside.
Also one can sell a product or service for BTC or ask to be paid in BTC by ones customers ( if one has a business )
or employers ( if one is working for someone else ).

Hi portnoy,

Thank you for the tips and link. I just mining without pool, means mining manually. I dont want to rushing buying/invest some money to get bitcoin since I still learning on this. Am I too passive? What do u think?

Like any investment one has to determine such things for themselves. Bitcoin is still a risky investment and one shouldn't lay out more money than they can afford to lose.

BTW, how to check our bitcoin with this site?

http://freebitco.in

Ive roll for 2 weeks. Sumtimes I get 4589 bitcoins but the site have no option to check our current credit.

Ones balance is in the upper right. They payout once a week, usually on Monday.  But you no doubt need to get above dust levels ( > ~0.000055 BTC ) before they payout.

I check twice ur instruction. The website never show our current balance/credit. I roll every 1hour. Many times i win 0.00000225 BTC and sumtimes I get bonus 0.00004589.

Refer here

http://s21.postimg.org/80dstnr93/image.jpg

That shows that a lot of links are missing for you like to ones profile, balance, logout, and to stats etc.
I guess you will just have to wait and see if you get a payout to the address you use there, to determine
if it is worth your time to use this site.

"Payments are automatically sent every Monday if you have Auto-Withdraw ENABLED and your balance is more than 0.00005460 BTC. Your account balance goes into 'PENDING' state on Sunday if you have Auto-Withdraw enabled, and 24 hours later the Bitcoins are sent to your wallet."
