761  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: July 17, 2017, 02:13:06 PM
In my own point of view, bitcoin had help many people and me and make them so rich but end the world poverty is not very easy because it takes a very long time to achieve your goals and you need to put all your time in using bitcoin with your full potential in using it.
762  Local / Pilipinas / Re: The Best Wallet para sa Filipino on: July 17, 2017, 01:54:23 PM

764  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: July 16, 2017, 09:38:44 AM
Nope, it wouldn't take a whole lot to get the numbers to start going down (compared to other currencies).
I think it's no too. Because bitcoin needs to take more time to wait all legal currencies to fall down just to make bitcoin the strongest currencies in the world. As of now we all know that bitcoin is still the strongest cryptocurrencies because of its greatness and more potential.
765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: July 09, 2017, 02:07:29 PM
i doubt it.
criminal activities were happening even before bitcoin. for example the ransomware that everyone is talking about these days have been around a very long time before bitcoin was created!

and besides since bitcoin doesn't offer real anonymity it can not really help the criminals as much as things like hard cash helps them.
Yes your definitely right before bitcoin was created there are many criminal activities that people had made. But i hope that no one used bitcoin for there criminal activities such as selling drugs, money laundering and etc. Because maybe this is the reason why the government can't accept bitcoin as a legalize money.
766  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 09, 2017, 01:36:19 PM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
In my own opinion you should do it both, you can invest half of your money on online and you can save the other half of your money so it is much safer if you invest it. But you can still invest all of your money in online so your money will grow much bigger.
767  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: July 09, 2017, 11:53:35 AM
If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house?

Ive been thinking if it went into very high figures i could cash out 80-90% of bitcoin and buy a house outright with no mortgage.  Is that even a good idea though? - basically 80% of networth in a house hmmm.  On the other hand i dont want to have a mortgage and im fed up with renting due to landlords, letting agents and lack of control.
Yes you could buy your own house but the problem is do they accept bitcoin as a transaction payment ? Because bitcoin is still not legal currency or not accepted by the government, so you can only buy a house if you convert bitcoin into a cash.

Number of tokens?
You should take a look on the spreadsheet to know how many numbers of tokens that you have ? And what price is equivalent in a one token.
769  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: July 09, 2017, 09:11:50 AM
So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?
In my own opinion maybe bitcoin is an another way to make your two cousins learn how to save because if they learn bitcoin they will learn economics too. So it's a good way to teach them to take care there money in a wise decision. Bitcoin is really a good thing to teach people how to save.

771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Is Your Worst Moment in Gambling? on: July 09, 2017, 08:11:57 AM
My worst moment in gambling is that i can't control my self when i play because i am too greedy. That time i lose a thousands of money i can't barely moved that time because i lose a lot of money in a hour. But now i learn my lesson that i will never greedy again instead i will only play for fun not for profit.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: July 09, 2017, 07:57:51 AM
In gambling we just know about two things
These are
Win or lose
But the question is when you do betting
You always lose
You do realize about it but why we still go through on betting place?!!!
Apologoze if my topic have already exist it just about my interesting about your opinion about my experiences
In my own personal opinion we still gamble even we lose is because we are so greedy to double or to get back all of our money, which is wrong that's why our luck fades away because we still think that we can win all back of our money.
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: July 09, 2017, 07:47:01 AM
I just wanna know if you guys are supertitious when playing or gambling?

I will admit I'm very supertitious when going to a land based casino. Grin
1. I choose the number of parking slot that I will park. Usually it should have my favorite number 111,777 etc.
2. I don't want to wait for someone if he or she is going to go with in the casino.
3. I wear the same shirt that I won big.

And a lot more..

How about you? are you sepertitious?  Smiley
I'm not that superstitious when i gamble because i only play when I'm a mood or i have recieved my salary. But i know a guy who is very superstitious when he gambles because he really wants to get rich in gambling that's why he is vwry superstitious when he plays.

776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: July 08, 2017, 07:11:27 AM
Hey people,

I've always been a huge gambler. I like creating useless schemes (as we all know bank always win ^^) and betting whole nights long in order to find THE right way of betting.
But I need change, I can't bet over and over on the same game cause after I see that nothing can be done to change the odds, I'm bored.

So I thought a bit about trading and I started not so long ago. and it feels a bit like a betting game without knowing the odds and with an infinity of parameters!

Does anyone else takes trading as a gambling game? Smiley
In my own opinion i consider trading as a gambling because every time you trade you take risk just like gambling you take risk in everytime you bet in a certain rounds. But trading is more beneficial than gambling because there's a more chance in trading that you can double your money while gambling you have a chance to lose all of your money.

Dear Starta investors!

Please be aware that there is a fake Starta token trading on DEX. Because Waves is a decentralised platform, it is possible for anyone to create a token with the same name. Starta tokens have not yet been released, and will be distributed on Monday 10 July.
Waves tokens have unique asset ids, and legitimate Starta tokens will display as verified assets within the Waves wallet. These can be identified by the green check mark beside them.
Please do not risk buying or selling fake tokens!
Thank you, and trade safely.

Best regards,
Starta Team

Thank for this very helpful information, it will help the newbie who were not able to join the ICO.
I'm glad I participated in this project, seems like I will be seeing this traded soon outside waves DEX.
Thanks for the information that there are fake starta token trading on DEX, I will be more careful. I am really glad that i have been part of this wonderful project. I wish all your success will continue.
778  Economy / Economics / Re: If USD falls on: July 08, 2017, 02:35:41 AM
Like many powerful currencies in the past, USD may fall to ground too, my question is will that effect BTC value? Or is it independent of all other real world or non digital currencies of the world?
Yes it's very true that in the past there are many currencies who falls but it is very impossible to make US dollar falls too because it is mostly used than any currencies in the world and it is a universal money they say. But if usd really gonna falls it will have a big effect on bitcoin because it will have a chance to be the new currency.
779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: July 08, 2017, 02:00:25 AM
I've been talking about Bitcoin to family, friends and random people for years and nobody seemed to mind when BTC was under $1000. But now that Bitcoin has reached $2000, people are starting to realize that owning 1 BTC is beginning to be out of reach for the average person.

I've had more people ask me about Bitcoin lately and wanted help buying Bitcoins. What about you?
There are many people, most of them are my friends who were asking me that where do i get all of my money and i told them the truth that all of my money came from bitcoin. There were becoming so interested to use bitcoin because they said, they were desperate to earn money. So i teach them about bitcoin and told them all of i know. And today there are now earning money. Thanks to me and bitcoin.
