7621  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin believers/investors are foolish or low IQ people ? on: July 26, 2019, 04:23:06 AM
Call me foolish and low IQ right now but I resigned in my job right now for the sake of cryptocurrency.

This is I think the weirdest decision that I've ever made in my entire life and I took the risk. Now I have no regret in my decision. We have different perspective with regards to Bitcoin.
7622  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TELL US WHAT NEWS MAKE YOU BUY COIN immediately AND WHAT IS YOUR SOURS OF NEWS on: July 26, 2019, 12:30:43 AM
First, you might change the words "SOURS" in your title to "SOURCE".

Anyway, benefit is the main reason why I'm buying a coin and holding it for mid to long run. Aside from profits which is already there, how can the coin help other people world wide is main reason. Another is the community. Are the team active? Does the coin have a large community to support the project?? If the community is active with the team and they are continuously developing then there is a chance that the coin will boom in the future.
7623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man won 12 times in lottery on: July 26, 2019, 12:25:40 AM
If you wanted to crack the code like him, you shoud:
1. Be a mathematical genius
2. Crack the new algorithms for the new system of lottery since its computerized now
If I have this kind of ability to crack new algorithms, I will not reveal my true identity Cheesy.

But men, this will take time to learn. I'd rather not to gamble my money in lottery than learning this and in the end, you will fail or will be imprisoned Cheesy.
7624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 26, 2019, 12:20:39 AM
Jeremy Lin
Where this champion would go.  Huh

He is still a great player, what happened to him? It is true that he did not that much the last season's Finals but he still can play right? He may not be the same at the time Linsanity is a thing but I think still had it in him, just give him a chance.
I don't think he is great even he is still in NYK. I remember the time when Linsanity has been named to him. I think it is the buzzer beater three by him. After that he did stepped up but slowly stepped down. He is not great for me
7625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do traders make more money than holders? on: July 26, 2019, 12:14:16 AM
There are both pros and cons of being a trader and a holder.

Being a trader is more risky than just holding your coin but the profit will be higher if you are a good trader. High risk = high reward as they say so being a trader make more money but the risk is higher too. This is the reverse of being a holder. The risk are lower but the reward will be lower too. In conclusion, traders make more money compare to holders.
7626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much BTC you own? on: July 26, 2019, 12:11:05 AM
There are many users browsing here in the forum daily so telling you're true holdings here can lead to several threats. I'm not saying that it can happen but it is for the safety of the holder.

BTW, I'm not holding any Bitcoin because..... I choose I don't want to Cheesy.
7627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Make Money Without Trading or Gambling on: July 26, 2019, 12:06:15 AM
Pay attention to the word HYIP put into OP's statement. Anybody knows HYIPs are ponzis and therefore equivalent to Gambling (you gamble that you are early enough to make sure you get paid). In this case, you hope you buy the coins at a price higher than everyone else or to make enough stakes to gain profit,,, that is still gambling.
From my understanding, a HYIP stands for High Yield Investment Plan. If you are earning a return of 1% a day, doesn't it constitute calling this a HYIP?
Yes you are right but in my experience, there are no HYIP projects that didn't last long. I have browsed some of the HYIP investment schemes already and did observed some of them and they didn't last long. Yes they are paying but it is just from the start and after months, they can't pay their investors so in the end HYIP CAN become a scam.
7628  Other / Meta / Re: Merit awarding on: July 25, 2019, 11:26:39 PM
i was monitoring or studying the merit levels, i discovered it was not directly increasing according to the number of post,i really wished to know how the merit is awarded and the advantage.
Helpful Posts = Merit
Constructive posts = Merit
Useless posts = Merit (for some newbies and stupids)

Advantage?? Hmmmm.. To prevent the spammers from ranking up.
7629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Projects Paying Out in Bitcoin or Ethereum Instead of Bounty Native Token on: July 25, 2019, 11:21:01 PM
I think it will be more preferable to have rewards paid in bitcoin or ethereum in order to save bounty hunters from receiving blames unnecessarily.
I will say it many times already and will say it once more, the team doesn't have initial money to fund their project that is why they are launching an ICO to fund it. One thing more, they don't want to risk their own money into a project that is not 100% successful. We know that some of the projects right now are either scam or doesn't reach their soft cap ending in abandoning it.

7632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB reach $50 This Year? on: July 24, 2019, 06:08:36 AM
There is a possibility that it will happen but I don't think it will be this year Smiley.

The growth of the exchange and the the coin itself is superb and if you invested in their token sale years ago, you're more than 100x now with the money you invested. It will happen definitely but it will not be this year.
7633  Local / Pamilihan / Re: LENDING SECTION HERE (Funds Available - [btc]0.0475) Wanted Borrowers! on: July 23, 2019, 04:59:20 AM

Having a collateral is better so we have an assurance if the borrower tried to run away with our money but all of the loans here have no collateral and so far, there are no borrowers who are running away.

Anyway, will not cover loans at this moment because of emergency purposes unless there is a valid collateral (altcoins only). Thanks
7634  Other / Meta / Re: Banned, without any reason whatsoever. Help! on: July 22, 2019, 11:29:18 AM
That's not plagarism lol I quoted the article then commented on it. I have missed the closing " on the quote, but if you guys play a closer look you will see this is the case.

Now that you know the reason for the ban, can you admit now that those are copy-pasted? Or are you still going to defend the the other two comments presented by @dikul and @asu ?

Yes, I do  admit that I quoted articles, didn't know it was such big deal and forbidden to comment on articles. I was not aware of that, neither did I get a warning. Banning me right away is way too harsh and unfair.  Huh Undecided Wrote many times to the appeal email no answer whatsoever. I wouldn't argue if I was spamming on PM, but come on, this punishment is  exaggerated.
What do you expect? Giving you a warning first that you are plagiarizing and then giving you a second chance?? If that's the case then all stupid plagiarizers must be warned first too.

It is how the forum works so accept it Smiley . Even in the real world, harshness and unfair is existing Smiley. Accept your fate user. You have been perma banned for plagiarizing. No exaggeration whatsoever has been done. Admins just did their responsibilities Wink
7635  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [DISCUSSION] Candidate for the next Merit Source. on: July 22, 2019, 04:05:21 AM
That might be because I don't actually speak the language and have a lot more sMerits than cabalism13 so I can be more careless when sending merits.
So it means that you are not really a Filipino but a foreigner who can understand our language? Honestly, I'm getting confused right now because I thought you were from the very beginning lol.

The power of Google Translate! I'm actually Chinese-Canadian (can't read or write Chinese though Undecided) and I've been hanging around a few different local sections on the forum.
I don't know but I'm just happy that a foreigner and a reputable person like you are active in our local section (or at least replying to some of our posts here). There are some of our countrymen here who are not interacting with us and that is a disappointment for some. Only a few people that are outside of our country are interacting here. I hope other high ranked users here can join in our local section too Cheesy
7636  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My personal point of view as a beginner .... on: July 22, 2019, 02:38:51 AM
Its a fact many newbies with not to much knowledge Will have a hard time with understanding BTC and its value/purpose etc
Its also likely many Will fall for scams before they learn there is no get rich fast etc

Please for newbies get into this forum and read provided links to threads with help and where BTC is explained.

When you properly know what BTC is Then you Will work most efficiently.

Also don’t mind the consuming of time Cheesy
I wish all the newbies out here have the same mindset as yours. Finding some important information here on the forum so that they will understand what Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general is.

This is base from my experience here. For almost 2 years in the forum, most newbies out here are just here for the money and it is the truth. We can't blame them to be honest but the ones who introduced this forum to them is wrong. Maybe they said that "Register to this forum and you can earn some money" like that and their mind thinks that "Its money so I will register" then they will as some question to their friend who introduced this forum to them blah blah.

This is why most newbies here are getting fallen into different scams because they registered here because of money and not for information and knowledge. I don't know what is the solution for this but the mindset of the newbies is the problem here.

To be honest, even I have a high rank (not so much Cheesy) I consider myself as a newbie because until this moment I'm still reading some threads that can give me information.

TO ALL THE NEWBIES OUT THERE, INVEST IN INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDGE FIRST BEFORE FOCUSING ON MONEY. Rich investors right now didn't invest immediately into stocks or real estate or anything. They invest several hours of their life reading books, finding some mentors that can help them etc. If you want your life to change and become rich, gain information first that can help you. Read some important threads here and interact with them.
7637  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [DISCUSSION] Candidate for the next Merit Source. on: July 21, 2019, 12:39:30 PM
This is the requirements to become a merit source as posted by theymos.
If you want to be a merit source:

 1. Be a somewhat established member.
 2. Collect TEN posts written in the last couple of months by other people that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread. The point of this is to demonstrate your ability to give out merit usefully.
 3. We will take a look at your history and maybe make you a source.

7638  Other / Meta / Re: Unionize the membership. on: July 21, 2019, 12:32:56 PM
First we will need an analysis of members broken down by age and sex. Smiley
Unfortunately, I'm an alien so I don't know my sex Sad and also my age.

~snip
Nope. That will never happen.

Even in real world, petition and shits never happen so it will not happen to in this forum. Do you think that you can just post a thread here like this and admins will agree with you when most of the users sign the petition?? Its pure stupidity.

In the end, admins and mods will be the final decision here so creating threads like this will be useless.
7639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A SHIFT FROM ICO TO IEO on: July 21, 2019, 11:20:14 AM
I think they are just following the trend Cheesy.

IEO is a trend right now like the ICO in 2017. Now IEO is a way for the token to become a successful in its token sale and an instant listing on that exchange. IEO's reduced the chances of the investors to getting scammed because the reputation of the exchange will be affected if the IEO will be a scam.
7640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? on: July 21, 2019, 11:04:15 AM
Anything.

You can buy absolutely anything with Bitcoin. From appliances to guns and drugs to hard wares etc. The only question is will the buyer accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment? This is one problem why crypto's adoption is slow. Most of the establishments right now doesn't accept cryptos because of its volatility.
