7621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying and Selling Cryptocurrencies on: July 20, 2017, 08:30:29 AM
thanks habBear.

Can anyone tell me a little about selling/exchanging/withdrawing?

I want to know if it is typically always possible to sell at a moments notice? Will people still be buying when the price of a currency has just risen? Is that even how it works or must be done?

Can one exchange between a less common cryptocurrency and BTC, ETH or another major coin at any point?
Talking about selling at buying there are not typical moments that you would able to do such act but only on to your self only and no one really knows if we did bought a particular currency to its price peak or not and this is how trading works and this is the hardest part too which we cant really predict on price movements but if you do trade with proper knowledge and precautions you will eventually make money depending on how you gonna trade. Exchanges do work on that way which you would exchange into an other coins by the use of bitcoin depending if they do have exchange pair... lets say BTC to ETH you decide to buy Monero.. You would need to exchange your ETH->BTC-> Monero since you cant directly change monero to ETH.
7622  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: July 20, 2017, 03:27:20 AM
Hi, I was wondering if I should quit my job and focus more on bitcoins? Because I think it might get me even richer without a job?  Grin
Follow your mind and heart on what they are saying. If you feel that bitcoin would make you rich then go for it but be prepared always on the risk involve on it since in bitcoin world theres no guarantee that it will go it together with our plans knowing that price is too volatile and things can happen on an instant or in a short period of time. If you can still able to manage your time then better to engage on both things which is the thing im doing right now.
7623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: factory reset wiped my files dont have private key? on: July 20, 2017, 02:56:01 AM
wow you are lucky if you get back and the file is not corrupted. Make sure you are restoring on another computer and not overwriting the source disk. Also try to recover it yourself before going to a service. They may as well take your coins.
Very lucky indeed even myself didnt expect for this thing to happen on which a factory reset pc didnt lost all the files on previous settings. I dont know whats exactly op did but for sure it involved hdd recovery. To avoid these things better to secure those wallet.dat or any private keys on a offline state.
By the way, issue have been resolved better to lock this topic.
7624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption in Latin America on: July 19, 2017, 01:19:14 PM
hi, I think Bitcointalk is very helpful site, but it need to be upgraded.
Yes,this site is full of informations you do need specially when talking about bitcoin and also on other altcoins in the market. Just want to know what you mean about upgrade? Back to topic have heard some news about this one but as far as I know they are being restricted of their government which is really a disaster for those who do really likes to use bitcoin but doesn't matter since bitcoin can be transacted underground.
7625  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Accidentally sent LTC to BTC address on: July 19, 2017, 06:07:24 AM
If it makes you feel any better, I did the same thing in 2013 while using www.BTC-E.com . I sent a little over 366 LTC to a BTC address in error.

Man, I wish I could figure out how to get those back. BTC-E does not publish wallet address from where coins are from; only the address they are going to. Not sure if that would help me but I wanted to look it up on the LTC block explorer.

Has anybody had any luck recovering the coins from a transaction like this?

#14760017
-366.593578 LTC
Withdrawal LTC to address 1MYUHE2DkKUenrxwU4geXrG6smNhrREYDp
05.04.13 00:07:44
What happen to this? You didn't still able to get those LTC back? Seeing on the date its year 2013? If you would contact them regarding on this matter they will surely not entertain anymore on a 4 year old transaction.I know you didn't bother to seek for it on those years but for now you would really have too considering on the value of those LTC. its about 6.79 btc on the current exchange. Back to topic how would you able to send and put the ltc address valid on a btc address input bar? Is it possible?
7626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen when global Bitcoin supply reaches its limit? on: July 19, 2017, 02:28:03 AM
Bitcoin is like gold in the real world, and like a valuable thing, Bitcoin can not be created just like that. Gold must be mined out of the ground, while Bitcoin must be mined through digital means. In connection with this process, this is a provision established by the founder of Bitcoin and the goods are quite limited.
If you know, there are only 21 million total Bitcoin that can be mined. Once the miners have opened up a lot of Bitcoin, the supply will inevitably run out, let alone the Bitcoin protocol changed to get a larger supply.

Well, the question is, what will happen when global Bitcoin supply reaches its limit? Shocked
21M bitcoin wont be complete since we are not still talking about those lost bitcoins in the void which means it would really be more lesser than the exact number of supply. If it would be mined all then less 21 M bitcoins would circulate on the entire chain which would really be transacted by its users. If theres a lot of demand of bitcoin then the supply is already out then expected that it would really be more valuable. I cant think off that bitcoins supply would be add up.
7627  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken don't want to send me back my money! on: July 18, 2017, 01:29:09 PM
Actually this is your fault. Why would not complete on using those 3 secondary names on the first place? You wont really suffer any problems as of now if you did such thing because they will really base on the names that you input and if they saw ones missing then for sure they will neglect or refuse any transactions. The best thing for now is to contact Kraken regarding on this one.
Different companies have their own forms to fill-in. Some of them have two fields for the name input, some of them one ("Full name"), etc. It's not possible to use universal format for the name Smiley especially when you have 5 names Smiley
That's really a tough thing sometimes when you do see some forms that wont really be appropriate to put up all five names. So,next time better to put up all five no matter what even on the inappropriate blank space as long you have been stated your five names so that later on you wont really experience problems when it comes to identification. Its quiet hassled but would really be worth later on.
7628  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken don't want to send me back my money! on: July 18, 2017, 11:19:25 AM
Hello everybody,

I have 5 names (a first name, 3 secondary names and a last name) on my ID. In the everyday life I use only my first and my last names. For example, at the bank I'm inscribed with my first and last names. Kraken offer the possibility to write 3 names; therefore I wrote my first name, my first secondary name and my last name. I wanted to withdraw money from my account but Kraken wrote me that it is not possible because the 3 names from my account in Kraken do not correspond to those of my bank account (but they accept money from this bank account without any matter...).
Now no more communication is possible with Kraken. They don't answer me. I can only sell and buy but the money that I wanted to withdraw is hold.
Please, do you have any peace of advice?

7629  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What the hell is going on with C-Cex??? on: July 18, 2017, 10:07:32 AM
First thing I get in my email this morning is that my C-Cex password has been changed. I've never used C-Cex before so who cares. I went to see if maybe I signed up way back in the day so I reset my password again. The brand new password won't work. I tried resetting it again. It doesn't work. I try to open a ticket and it says the captcha is wrong. I try to do anything and the website is down for "5-7 minutes of maintenance" (which so far has lasted 10hours.).

What the hell am I supposed to do now? I just want them to close my (non existent) account so they don't get screwed over from some hacker. I have nothing to lose there so I really don't care. I'd just rather not get these emails every single time their crappy exchange gets hacked. It seems to be every 3-6 months I get another email.

I have a secure system and I'm not getting hacked so I know C-Cex is getting hacked. My password was very long and random and never reused. I'd appreciate if anyone knows how I can get my account closed without opening a ticket since even that doesn't work on their site lol.
Theres no other possible way but just only on contacting their support since they do have the power to close such account. By the way if that account doesntt have any funds then better not should be bother at all. You are just stressing yourself out regarding on this thing. The link has been given above already by other member so theres no need to repeat. Good luck and hope you would contact them asap.
7630  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: epay.info scam on: July 18, 2017, 03:40:58 AM
I think that epay turned into scam . I am waiting 2 payment one of dogecoins and another of bitcoins for about a month and nothing yet . They deleted the FB page . Donīt waste your time with epay !
Because they are going to sell their website without paying those users and giving back the balance of faucet owners, you can view it on here's the thread of the sale https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1955169.0. And there are so many scam accusations against them so don't expect that they will give your doge and some altcoin there...
Oh! thanks for the link. Didnt see this one though  that they are already selling their website and its really confirmed that they wont really pay up their investors for sure because they are already selling it. This should really be expose on public even more so that people wont continue on depositing on the site. How pathetic they are on not blocking the site regarding deposits. They will really ruin their reputation even more.
7631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you deal with stress? on: July 17, 2017, 12:05:19 PM
I got into altcoin trading just recently, a week or so ago.
Honestly I never dealt with exchanges before and this is all new to me but it's both fun and very stressful. I'm not a big time player, in fact I started out with nothing and just mined some Hush, sold that and bought ARK/Waves/Shift/Espers. I own maybe $500 worth of coins right now lol, but I plan to increase this.
However stress is getting to me. I keep checking the prices, trying to buy low and sell high and I do that at work now as well and even dream about it. I dreamed Espers was getting pumped and my exchange closed Espers trading and I woke up all pissed off and sweaty and cursing the non existent exchange.
I'm not very interested in the tehnology I just want to trade as I find that a lot of fun. But I need to deal with the stress somehow Grin
You are just getting too serious with this stuff. If you are really enjoying on trading you should not think it too much inspite on stressing out yourself its much better to follow the essential steps on doing trading. Buy low sell high just like that. Stress would be more if you do see that all of your coins are on negative which if its your first time you would really panic and cut loss for sure and you should really be ready on this one because it does give more stress than on the thing you are experiencing as of now.
7632  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Another opportunity to buy Bitcoin at Cheap price on: July 17, 2017, 06:11:52 AM
You are certainly right, as bitcoins price is decreasing now is the right time to buy bitcoin. It is not only an opportunity but an advantage also for traders to stock up their bitcoins and some altcoins too if you want.
I think its already too late to buy bitcoin now we should bought on the price of 1800 as of yesterdays or the other day as far as I remember on which seeing on the price now it starts to climb up again and we did make profits if we bought bitcoins on that range but still we cant be sure if this price increase would continue or just a fake one. I wont still buy bitcoin as of now I would wait a little bit more further.
7633  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Lost bitcoins Phrase Recovered Blockchain Wallet on: July 17, 2017, 03:42:09 AM
What wallet you used yo recover your recovery phrase?Did you try to look at your previous address you used if they have new transaction, I mean someone transfer your funds their to other wallet while your phone was not on you since it was stolen. If not, then its still there maybe you have to double check if you have stable connection or there must be a bug?
This is only the two ways you can check to. If theres a new transaction that do transfer your bitcoin into another wallet or you just need to double check. Once you do hold up on the seed or keys you do have the full control of that wallet but if your phone got lost and someone do have knowledge on cryptos then for sure those coins of yours will be most likely stolen.
7634  Economy / Securities / Re: 3% per month - 604598 Trading Journal / Track Record on: July 17, 2017, 03:02:04 AM
Another fake trader that think demo account and real account are the same. Also he use shit broker for trading.
Beware of this kind of user if you don't want loss all your coin.
No,it isnt a demo account since those stats been given are only available on having a real live account but those are just produced monthly statements which i do assume and see on that form that he traded only for a short period of time supposedly in the end of the month. For OP do you have FxBlue? So i can check it out your stats.
7635  Economy / Exchanges / Re: how to get response on bitfinex ticket? on: July 16, 2017, 12:45:59 PM
^^ suggestion above is the fastest way on reaching their support regarding on your concern and buddy you do still use bitfinex as of these days? Knowing on the issue have been faced in the past? But well its your own choice but if I were you I would stop on using their site. I don't have any trust since they have been hacked in the past. Hope that you would get your response soon.
7636  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: I can't login to blockchain.info due to "EMAIL CODE (2fa)" on: July 16, 2017, 10:00:31 AM
Hi guys,
What is the best thing to do at this moment to login to my blockchain wallet?

Last 2-3 hours I have been trying to login, but due to the "Email Code" I am unable to login.

It will be appreciated if someone helps me out.

B. regards
I have experience this stuff too on which the email didn't arrive but I have just waited for 2 hours as far as I remember but it still arrives. In your case if it doesn't arrive for how many hours already then better to contact support. Theres nothing we can do if it wont arrive. These kind of confirmations would only be gone if we did just logged in into a common ip.
7637  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Faucets on: July 16, 2017, 07:07:47 AM
Are faucets worth it?

I mean could i make some bucks with a faucet, or many?
No, its not. Definitely not worth for your effort and on your precious time but honestly speaking when I was still a newbie on bitcoin world I do really start on this faucets which I earn small amounts of satoshi on a long periods of time which later on when I do gain knowledge I realize that its not really worth it but I was still thankful into these faucets back in the past because of this it gives me basic knowledge on how to transact with bitcoins. For now just listed to our advices here. Better to look up on other money making ways than on faucets.
7638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Need help to identify these 2 addresses on: July 15, 2017, 06:58:38 AM
I have been scammed by these 2 addresses.

Is it possible to tell which exchange these addresses belong to? I might contact the exchange to know the user then.
Its near impossible to track those addresses specially they are belong on an exchange wallet and I don't think that those exchanges would bother to search up those things for you. Knowing that they are busy on doing things and they will unlikely to get serious on this kind of cases. Would like to know how much did you lost? This is really a hard situation when someone scams you through btc transfers its nearly considered as lost forever and don't bother to look up.
7639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: COULD SATOSHI NAKAMOTO BE HOLDING 2.2 MILLION BITCOINS? on: July 14, 2017, 03:34:30 AM
I thought it was suppose to be transparent ? Or we will never know how much a particular person holds ?
You will never know and thats the essence of bitcoins anonymity. I didnt still watched up the video link but thinking or talking about 2.2 million holdings then it would be insane and even satoshi wont even accumulate that coins even he will solo mine just like been mentioned above there are lots of miners on the earliest days which means 2.2m would be unbelievable. But who knows since anyone could claim that they hold up that coin.
7640  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Question about MyEtherWallet on: July 13, 2017, 10:13:29 AM
Out of my curiosity I have tried this kind of thing which I do changed some values on my private keys and it did access some new eth address but I strongly believe no matter how you do change it you cant find an address that have some coins on it. I know whats on your minds and feels like you would like to search up wallet addresses with having a balance. They do already got rid into this kind of plan and it wont really work out.
My intention wasn't to find a wallet with some ethereum to steal them, I tried to understand how much I'm safe from people that want to do this and if there are any method to protect my wallet the best as I can from this people. Anyway thanks everyone for help, I feel so much better knowing that it's not that easy to enter in a wallet just changing a character of the private key. Have a nice day Smiley
I do understand your point and we do really have the same thing on our mind on which we do try out to test it out if its possible for our private keys to be exposed. Thinking off that there are lots of generated address on the network and hitting them or getting them with random privatekeys is just like finding a needle over in a haystack.
