Morning Bitwisdom:

Bitcoin Difficulty:    52,278,304,846

Adjust time:    After 1734 Blocks, About 11.8 days

Appears its going to be a positive change, question is just how much.

Coinbase is right under 290.   So not bad overall.
7702  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn bitcoin compain signature ? on: July 27, 2015, 11:52:33 AM
i registred in 64blocks.com and paste it's code in my signature, But can i see my earnings ? and when i can withdraw ? and finally, How can i check if i'm registred in that service or not ? and thanks very much for your help

it's done automatically if they have a bot, otherwise you can ask the dev of that campaign about every detail usually is at the end of each week or month, from the day that you registered
Thanks friend
Can i use more than one service at once
i mean can i put 2 or 3 service to my signature at once ?

It depends on the signature campaign.  Each one has it's own rules on what you can or can't do.

But for most cases no you cannot have more then 1 signature.    Most have it where they take up all the space for your rank.  So a lot really not space to add another to.
7703  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: 1155GH(+OverClock Potential), In Stock $0.319/GH & 0.51W/GH on: July 27, 2015, 11:35:41 AM
Used miner purchases will receive coupons towards new miner purchases

Although this current batch of Antminer S5 listed for sale are used units, Bitmain performs quality control testing on every machine to ensure that it is in proper working order before shipping to consumers.

These machines have only been running for about 40 days in our farm, so there should not be a significant impact on the performance or the total life of the machines.

Bitmain would like to offer coupons to customers who bought S4+ or S5 recently to be used towards the future purchase of our next generation of mining machine.

At this time, we are unable to provide detailed information on the new machines or the size of the coupons, but please expect an official announcement in the near future.

How about those of us that had an order pending and suddenly just as we got the payment together *poof* no more "new" S5s exist?

I would have had the money together a month or so sooner if y'all hadn't kept jacking the price up.

They have had different phases of how they do  coupons.   It's hard to tell what this one will be like.   At one point they were hard to get (I have a feeling this will be true).   Others it was like they gave out candy and just a email got them.

With it being "customers who bought S4+ or S5 recently" I have a feeling it will be limited amount of coupons and they dont give out like candy.
7704  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S3, S3+ and S3++ on: July 27, 2015, 11:06:10 AM

Thank you for posting!  I have been dying a long time to see one of these in one of our hands.

Can you show us it's status page and how many watts? Would neat to see the ++, no one posts it here as rare to get one.

Thanks for your time!
7705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Network Hashrate Tops 400PH/s on: July 27, 2015, 11:03:45 AM
this could happend becasue maybe new hw is going to be released soon, as always... for those who sayd that dont expect the same rise on the next months/years i would say: never say never Wink

Also if things are going like i expected, thats nothing compare to the next years Wink

Likely someone is plugging in some gear.  It's hard to say who or what specs are.   But yea some new gear, this diffiulty jump has not went crazy.

But hitting 400 PH is huge milestone.  I am still hoping difficulty rises slow we do not need any double digit's anymore.   Will be interesting once a few have next gen what happens.
7706  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3+ Discussion and Support Thread on: July 27, 2015, 11:00:43 AM
Anyone know where i could get a replacement capacitor for the s3 hash board. The cap. Says F4 OCV 270 16V.

What makes you think it's bad?  Tried Digikey?

Yea I think a parts place like that is best chance.   I don't see Bitmain selling parts like this.

They chances are would sell a hash board (assuming they have stock).  But not down to capacitor and parts on it.

actually they will just tell you to send the whole unit or the blade back to them for repairs, i have to do the same with my bricked controller PCB unfortunately Sad

Yea though about that but i have a air gun and soldering unit so the parts are 8 bucks sounds cheaper trying to fix it my self then to ship the unit to texas from here which would be 25-50 bucks one way.

Texas? I was reffered to send my stuff to Colorado directly from Bitmain

I have never heard of anyone shipping parts/units to texas either.  It's been a while since I needed help though.

So it's either new... or wrong.
Also they said it would only be 10$ shipping and anywhere from 15$-35$ for repairs and they would tell me what is wrong before repairs. Just go to their support page....

If shipping is US to US 10 is not horribly out of realm if it's just controller board.  Yea most other components go up a lot.   As far as I know there is not an official list of centers.  All we can do is ask.

Bitmain does Texas have a center for warranty work?  Or was poster mistaken when he posted Texas.
7707  Other / Meta / Re: Why my friend cant register from smartfon ??? on: July 27, 2015, 10:48:17 AM
He have acces to internet ofc its checked but when try register he have "time out" ....
wtf mine PC and www working fine but he cant register.... and other www on his smartfon working normal even youtube so wtf ?

Might post in meta if you are able to figure out what is stopping it.  What country are you in and what DNS do you use?   When your friend tried it on pc was it tethered through same smart phone?

Let us know more info and try to replicate it.  If all else fails since your friend has you... do a teamviewer sesssion for him to sign up on your connection, or he could go over to your house and do it.
7708  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn bitcoin compain signature ? on: July 27, 2015, 10:45:12 AM
Look in services there are some that specialize in new people, yes they do pay less but it's still something.  I was an idiot and did not try till hero  Sad.

Biggest advice is post like normal,  and have good posts.  If you wear a signature it's like a target on your back, if your posts suck you WILL get a temp ban.   So basically don't go crazy on abnormal posts for yourself.
7709  Other / Meta / Re: Proposition for marketplace section on: July 27, 2015, 10:40:45 AM
So, I think forum administration should find a way to stop scammers open new thread in marketplace section.

That is literally the entire purpose of the Trust system. It is designed to stop people trading with scammers. I don't think forum administration should start placing posting restrictions on those with negative trust, as that's a terrible idea. Some people don't even have negative trust for "scamming".

There should be restriction for that. One person = One threads in one month only. That would be a better solution.

No. Real bad idea. 1 thread a month, or any set time period, is going to block a lot of situations in which >1 thread may be needed.

Yes but something like only 1 thread per category, like if you are selling physical coins just make 1 thread with all of them instead of 1 thread per type of coin.

I can see combining some threads.  But 1 thread per months is just to much to ask.  It would be horrible finding products.

I can see physcial coins, miners, etc a seller combing them into groups.  But if you did all of what some sell it would not even fit it all in subject line.

Yep the 1 month limitation is not good, maybe make another section or sections in the marketplace for physical coins and other common products there, i mean physical coins take up 50% of the whole marketplace

I know people have tried for it before, but a sub forum for coins might be worth it.   It's grown into a good sized business.  And has many many repeat customers and sellers.

It would clean it up some, does not help scam OP talk about though.

Thank you for providing information where we are not speculating!   Always appropriate details this explains exactly what used means in this case.

If politic & sociality got exclude, is this user also got rejected as well? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=75724
I wonder why he not make any revolt...

I cannot explain that one.  Might ask Bitcoin Boy what it shows on bot side as that is a large amount of politics.

*Just to make it clear I'm not against him having it.  He has high quality posts there so more of a expert in that thread.   As someone like me politics are not my normal forum so my posts there would not be up to par.

Just checked that I have 22 posts in total and I have 18 rejected, that's pretty ridiculous, will be removing this off my signature as either they have some unrealistic expectations or the automated software is bugged.

Haven't had problems before with other signature campaigns so I can see why some people are getting annoyed with the OP.

off topic and politics & society are excluded.

7715  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: July 27, 2015, 07:06:47 AM
i think working on both faucets and sign campaign from this forum can make u 1BTC a year already
if you rank full member or above you do not need to combine both because only from signature campaign you can earn 1 btc only in a few month

It depends I would not say it is a for sure thing.   But as long as the sig campaign pays over .1 or so BTC per month most likely you will hit one BTC in a year or less.

It depends of if how much you post.  It has to be normal posting and have content.  If you are just posting to get 1 BTC it could be some crappy posts.
7716  Economy / Speculation / Re: $350+ within 2 weeks on: July 27, 2015, 07:02:26 AM
I think I will be cautious.  350 is a lot of a jump for BTC.  I think we will see 300 on btc value.

We will hit over 400 most likely on BTC difficulty, so I do expect to see a jump with it.

No Replies Yet. Sad Two Days have passed. BadBear and Theymos where are you Sir?

If I were you I would nicely send a message from the email to prove even more ownership.   I think the evidence will help you.

As far as time frame admins are very busy also pushing for it to be done in that day probley did not help.  Don't poke the bear Smiley
7718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TUTORIAL] How to Earn 1 Bitcoin in a Week on: July 27, 2015, 06:53:46 AM
5 mbtc is quite a few, you can do better. Also altcoin trading is a nutshell
If you want to make money out of it
you should follow all the invested coin's topics, watch  close the news etc. It takes a lot of time.
But yeah, it's really profitable that much.

i agree. you need to invest a lot of your time in it to be able to profit from altcoin trading

A lot of the time should be in research.  You should really know the coin's you are buying.

If you buy just based on price, you are doing something wrong.
7719  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: new to mining, what hardware do i need on: July 27, 2015, 06:45:17 AM
I think your best bet is to find a cheap S3 around $80 and start mining with that.  It's a lot more profitable than a usb stick miner.

If you are set on a stick miner than sidehack has a really good device coming out you can grab and mess around with

Honestly USB stick miners are a different category to me.  They are more for learning and lotto.

With ROI a bigger machine normally is better as far as price per GH.
7720  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: July 25th to Aug 8th diff thread (temp) on: July 27, 2015, 06:43:02 AM
Yes looking like we will be over 400 after this change:

Bitcoin Difficulty:    52,278,304,846
Estimated Next Difficulty:    53,706,336,534 (+2.73%)
Adjust time:    After 1759 Blocks, About 11.9 days
