I had lost 0.07 from my multibit wallet, as I was new to bitcoin and by mistake I clicked on delete wallet and I was not having back up or private keys  I have also lost some Bitcoin but it was not by an mistake or something it was my own fault because I choose to gamble with them. That is the only way on how I have lost some Bitcoin. Hey, almost 90% of the people who post here are saying they lost because of gambling. I think we should open some serious awareness initiatives (at least a thread in this forum) where we can explain people about how to avoid gambling and it's addiction. Really I am shocked that so many people loose with gambling. Right, from that we can take any expectations or assume. gambling is the biggest cause from every people to lost all of their money and almost 90% of the people in here is saying about that. we want to think again if wanna to play on gambling maybe just for fun i think it's not a problem.  |

there once was a website called bitcoinmonitor.net. You could add a random bitcoin address and define certain things on when the website should do an action. Like sending out an email after an incoming transaction that received 2 confirmations or so.
Now this site does not exist anymore, only a parking page is hosted on there. But I would like to use such service so that I could get an email on my smartphone once I receive bitcoins on a certain address.
Is there such a service anymore without me having to open a wallet on there?

I dont know if there are any sites like that but there is one in the Philippines. It is coins.ph it emails you everytime you receive a bitcoin or everytime you successfully send a bitcoin. If a sender is using the same wallet the email of the sender will also appear on your transaction list. It is one of the best wallet I have encountered so far but is not present in other countries. That's a wallet too... like I wrote I do not want another wallet. I never would store my coins online anymore anyway... I do understand however why people are holding.
They dream about the elevator to be "rich". Just simple answer with a lot of means. holding become the elevator for some people who having the biggest amount become a rich people in a short time. And that is the easy way ride elevator by everyone to be a rich. |

don't worry to much you will notice it when it happens. such news that is both big and effective on bitcoin price will spread like wildfire and everybody will know it when it happens, but you can't predict what it'll be. it can be another economical devastation of a country or it can be a new big company like steam accepting bitcoin.
yes i think the big event will be when the states and governments will accept bitcoin as a currency. i think that will be more big event even from halving. This is impossible since government know what would be the impact for them once they accept a type of currency that can't be control by higher people. They don't want decentralized coin to take over the world. i am sure that at the end every country will accept it as a currency and they will allow their people to use it. I sure if every country will accept bitcoin as a currency but just for assisting the main currency because it's too difficult using a real currency in the digital life. the government will never think to make the bitcoin become their main currency because at first, bitcoin is made for easier the digital life. |

There are many ways of earning bitcoin I just want to find it now. like investment and trading , but it's not sure that it will give daily profit bitcoin is big opportunity to us,so we need to find better invesment to earn more in daily profit.

Yes same here, it does have positive impact on our life because it has helped people to become economically creative (if you know what i mean) and somewhat it has added a few credits of money to the young people like us to help our expenditures. It is right,before joining bitcoin I was jobless person, and it was very hard for me to earn money online from different tasks as the earning opportunities with other currencies are very less, and after joining bitcoin I am seeing a number of good means and tasks to earn bitcoin, and the bitcoin ad networks are also much better so with that I now earn good amount with my logs. This one of the great things bitcoin can do to us. It gives us a way to earn money. In short, there are people around the world that offer tassk / job and pay bitcoin. This is a good thing, since we don't need to process our papers (passport visa etc) to work under people who is abroad. We know that many businesses takes those with diploma. Here even if we are not graduates we can somehow use our skills. Not worried about the degree, in my environment, there is a lot of people with a high degree is not having skills, because they can get it for instantly. The degree does not become any important reason to define some one is having skill or nothing. |

Let's be in reality here. Bitcoin will not make banks go away. Not soon anyway. But banks will have to evolve if it doesn't want to go away. More and more cryptocurrency platforms are being invented today and some of them may be the go to platform in the future. It would be stupid for banks not to use them.
Banks won't just let it happen, they are incline to upgrades too, they are always in the race with bitcoin. Bank is now getting more and more sophisticated and high tech too. In short they are also using computers and networks, just like bitcoin, so there is no way that they will be left behind by bitcoin.. This is where you are wrong. That is very short sighted. I foresee smaller banks being serious in testing cryptocurrency platforms not just bitcoins in order to get an edge vs the big banks. Once they gain ground, the big banks will have no choice but to adapt or to lose their business vs the smaller banks. Banks won't let it happen. They have done their utmost best to boycot and even more stop the progress of bitcoin. On the background they are working on their own coin/ implementation of bitcoin... I am sure they can't be stopped and by doing this they can prolong their usabiltiy.... for he moment. Bitcoin can not make bank disappeared and it was not possible. Banks have power everywhere and play a role in the economy of a country. I think bitcoin will not affect anything because they are different. I am sure the bank can always follow the development so may not be left behind. We know, at first. bank and bitcoin having a different usefulness. Just for example I sure a lot of people in here always using the card from the bank to pull their digital currency if they exchange the bitcoin into fiat balance. between on both of them having a secret relationship. |

There are some trusted casino sites tha will not scam you but that doesn't mean that you can't lose your money.  But whwn you are playing in casions you have to be aware that you are exposed to a certain risk. Ofcourse it is used by illegal activities. But I think it is normal to use Bitcoin for illegal activities. Nobody can control you and cant see what you bought. But I think that must stop soon. Banks dont like it either and the government too. But I dont care. every one is talking about this. but still no one has yet any proof about this. but if it is true so it is not so strange because illegal activities will be practice in all kinds of currencies. then why are we only talking about bitcoin. When people is willing to do something bad, they will be willing to use all the available resources to do it. Unfortunately there are lots of detractors that have emphasized the use of bitcoins for illegal activities, but most of these crimes can also be carried out using fiat or metals with no problem. People using bitcoin for illegal things is not bitcoin's fault. Bitcoin is just a currency. It's the thief/criminal who is at fault. The are some who say that the goverment wants to control BTC ?i think it's imposible, bitcoin is decentralized system, "free market" , no one can control the bitcoin, For a free market, it's just a side problem, but the main problem is the decentralized of bitcoin. Then with the bitcoin sales results, I will use to create a business that I think will profit in the future But just dream i think -_-, because I think in the next 10 years bitcoin prices will not reach $1M. Agreed. Bitcoin revolves around it's system of a public ledger. What use is this when no one's using it? Storing bitcoin is just in the hope of the price going up. But if everyone does this, then the price will just go down.

Bitcoin could make Banks disappear only if it would spread globally and be a global currency which would be used in every single country in the world if you mean disappear everywhere. But that will unfortunately never happen and probably, if it happened, someone would make Bitcoin banks so it would be all the same again.
Bitcoin is becoming popular in the world but i think it will not accepted as a global currency because it is not as much strong to disappear other currency and become global currency. maybe your reason is wrong, for me, bitcoin is made became a companion of the real currency or similarly we called them money. can make us never doubt and worried with the distance for making any transaction. |

Debit cards have already been mentioned. But the easiest and most safest imo is to sell to another person via real life trade. Use localbitcoins or mycelium's local trader marketplace for that. For debit cards will getting a high fee, it makes everyone isn't excited to use them. F2f is the best way for this time, I agree with you. but selling by every way of bitcoin will secure all of your personal data maybe not's for your wallet financial. |

lol I thought you could not give a limit to the amount you're going to bet on. I'm sure you'll come out of that limit and you're going to play with a greater amount.
