still for sale, will take $175 shipped

Hi, I like this deal, and I don't demand a bunch of proof about you owning it etc, that's all fine, but just a few questions:

1 - I see some scratches on the screen. Was it used with a screen protector, or always without and are those on the screen or the protector?

2 - What version of android is currently running on it, has it been rooted, and if so, is it running custom recovery and/or any custom rom?

3 - Has it been updated via OTA by any of those carriers? Can you maybe download this simple samsung phone app and post some pics or screenshots of the "General" and "CSC" tabs for good measure for us serious android geeks who must know all we can? Wink

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.phoneinfo&hl=en

I understand its frustrating selling stuff here (or anywhere), especially when people want things like pics proof etc, but still, gotta know what I'm buying ya know, nothing personal! Wink

I agree about the usefulness of this forum lately, but I'm pretty sure after the last hack, a lot of people just decided to never come back, as the activity doesn't seem to be as high as it was before the hack, but it's still good. OTOH, I do enjoy it because I cannot get this type detailed info about anything i buy online on amazon or ebay. Noone there cares enough to provide any help or any info for us geeks, so I appreciate this site as well.

Thanks for your time if you can spare any more as I'm in need of a secondary / backup phone in case mine smashes or gets broken etc.

cheers! Wink

Edit - if installing that app is too much, send me A: the android version and B: the Baseband version from settings -> about phone.  thanks! Smiley

The scame your thinking of is btclend.org...

Anyone have thoughts as to what will happen when the ltc rewards halves in a couple of months.  Won't rewards drastically go down?

Nothing. This operation is not mining shit, it's a giant ponzi. Whoever cannot discern that is an idiot.
7748  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: June 15, 2015, 01:33:08 AM

Ha, that's kinda funny.  I was about to go do it and remembered that the current fake facebook account I am using for......................reasons, is also named Josh Garza!  I figure if I were to do it though, it might be better to put together an infographic or two summing up and clearly explaining why he is such a weasly scum bag and they should be careful to hide their jewelry and cash if they invite him into their house.  Anyone who would associate with him in real life has probably swallowed his kool aid and isn't necessarily going to read through this thread.  Anyway, if that is a brand new facebook it might take a few weeks to add everyone who might accept him as a facebook friend, so it is better to wait and be sure his entire social circle gets bombed with information.  So shhhhhhhhhh, keep this quiet for a little so no one alerts him and he realizes it might be a good idea to make his account private.

lmfao.. naturelle reads this thread more than hashtalk.  Roll Eyes  .. edit.. or are you trolling me successfully? Wink

I just voted for Monero to be listed on Cryptsy. You are currently in 2nd position with 27,170 votes.  Smiley

Do people really still use cryptsy after the latest gaw scam?

lol.. not long apparently.
7753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: June 14, 2015, 05:48:20 PM
It's really quite simple, if you have a little faith:

1. Marcelo has the largest LiteDoge wallet in the world. Given the stake rate, he's slowly leaking his staked LiteDoge onto C-CEX, Bittrex, YoBit, etc. This obviously explains the profits. Because if a staking wallet generates a certain income for one person with a laptop, this clearly scales to a multi-user investment program.

2. The 850 Gh/s miners can't be accounted for because, they're magic. They can mine Scrypt, and Bitcoin, and X11, and even actual metals and minerals from the terra firma. You can't find it on Litecoin, cause he's mining DASH today. Or MazaCoin. Or Rhodium. Who knows. All I know is that these are obviously even better than Hashlets that will never be unprofitable, and even better than Beekeeper's Gen II ASICs that can switch algos at the drop of a hat to always mine the most profitable coin.

3. These miners are in fact so magic, that not only do they pay you every 10 minutes, they also pay Marcelo's private investors, AND they pay a 5% referral bonus to anyone with another email address. Although I can't prove it, I suspect that it's because on the days the "850 Gh/s" is mining emeralds and silver, he uses unicorns, rather than trucks, to transport the minerals, saving on both time and fuel costs. The savings, get passed on to you!

4. With a business model that's rock solid and unlimited profit potential, there's no need for insight into the mining operation, or a real support system, or updates from Marcelo. His website has a chatbox and if you need help, all you have to do is show up there, make sure you have enough KHS to chat, wait anywhere between 20 minutes and 6 days, hope Marcelo shows up, and if he does, cross your fingers that he can read your message in the flood of hundreds being tossed about.

I don't see what anyone could take issue with.

I agree 100%, that's the best analysis so far, well done! Wink
7754  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I was stolen 100+ BTC, don't know what to do - please help on: June 14, 2015, 03:15:46 AM
My speculation is that BTC-e selectively steals from people whose coins are associated with non-legal activities.

Coins from gambling sites are stolen because BTC-e think you can't tell the police.

I really doubt that they are selectively scamming users, unless they actually do receive word about stolen shit. Otherwise, they make more in day in just trading fees than I make in a year, so that makes no sense there... However, BTC-E should always be treated with caution, i mean, nobody still knows who runs this site? Right!?   Huh

7755  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [For Sale] Mehod to create .EDU emails - Limited time sale on: June 13, 2015, 03:30:54 PM

What is the point of having .edu emails?
gmail free and has many features

Haven't checked but you get additional benefits when you register Amazon Prime with .edu and many other sites. You just need to find the ones that require .edu

What? I have .edu and I don't get anything special from any sites. I call bs on this... Show me one site where it says anything about requiring .EDU or discounts for .edu?

Edit - I have not tried amazon prime, nor do i want to, so maybe that's the only one, what else then?
The chat roulette college chat section

lol.. I stand corrected, but I still don't see any value in this, i mean what did you do, hack some .edu exchange server? This is only good for spammers IMO.
