781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Market Will Going Up ? on: May 10, 2018, 09:33:19 PM
It seems that the momentum is gone and the mini bull run is ended.
I see us going down in fractal manner for a month or so before going green again.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 10, 2018, 09:25:52 PM
It depends on the specific situation.
How the team is handling exchanges ,what is the road map, what are the market cap and much more.

In most cases I hold for some time.
783  Economy / Speculation / Re: what's dragging the bitcoin price down? on: May 10, 2018, 09:23:16 PM
There are also a great deal of good news, I think that right now there is just not enough momentum to start new bull run.
We are still in crashing market, I believe it will be some time before we see the new bull.
784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Listening To False News... on: May 10, 2018, 09:17:53 PM
Fake news and misinformation is a huge problem.
I see that there are 2 reasons why this is happening, first every news channel likes to exaggerate things and twist the information in such manner to be aligned with the most popular opinion.
Second people who have short or long positions are paying for the right news information for their investment.
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin pose a threat to banks? on: May 10, 2018, 09:15:25 PM
Not the BTC specially.
But the crypto currencies and block chian as a whole does threaten banks in direct way since they can overtake the payment sector but banks still have loan industry.
786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A massive crypto sell out as exchanges prepare to pay taxes on: May 10, 2018, 09:12:30 PM
I am not sure, but I  dont think that one should calculate the tac from ones holdings but from the revenue.
Also only those who buy and sell cryptos in US in exchnages which are giving out data are eligble for this .

Off-course I can be wrong, I am not a US resident.
787  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-08] Bitcoin Casinos Grow in Popularity – Why? on: May 08, 2018, 11:20:16 PM
Compared to casinos that uses fiat to gamble sometime discrimination happens like you have limit to use and minimum amount to starts because they know your occupation and a lot of eyes is in you when you loss and when you win they will say you are cheating, so better use digital way of gambling, learn-registered-earn-lose-keep your identity unknown to others, it works better this way.

I don't know what casino did you go but I haven't feel any discrimination here in my country. I have been playing in a land based based casino for 10 years and so far I also didn't see that you need to "show some money" before they let you inside. Only discrimination I'm thinking is that if you are really underage and if you don't wear proper decorum. As far as the reason why bitcoin is popular? Anyone can play, you just need internet and money to deposit and that's it. Plus you are anonymous.

Havent heard about any discrimination also in this area and dont see how there could be.

The popularity is easily explained by anonymity and lack of taxation. Have to note that crytpto casinos cant be banned if they even wanted to, they are in some ways gamblers paradise . Possibly the only problem could be trust issue -algorithms and such.
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO NOW!] 💠 FORTY SEVEN BANK 💠 – Connecting Financial Worlds on: May 08, 2018, 11:14:57 PM
Congratz on ICO ending and I know these people are serious about their project and we wil see them in coming years.
My concern right now is the seriously low interest in FSBT token and lack of exchanges, IDEX is down again, so there  is no exchange for them.

I think that team should think more of new exchanges and they had enough time to plan this since ICO was very long.
There is no excuse of not being in more exchanges, since other projects which raised 5 times less money are in 4 exchanges in no time like Docademic.

Have a look at the Medium article few posts above. The team will release news of exchange listings this and next week. So that is like 2 weeks after ICO end which is not much waiting time. And believe me, if 1 of these exchanges is Binance the token will fly to the moon in the first 4 hours after listing Wink

Ok, thanks for the reference.
Will definitely take a look. Not hoping for Binance , i think any medium size exchange would be good for investors and as exposure for project also.

794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been scammed? or almost? on: May 06, 2018, 02:21:50 PM
I almost got scammed on twitter by a fake account. Scammers are setting up fake accounts pretending to be other people/ICO's/Tokens. It's very tricky if you are not paying attention. Make sure you check spelling on all names to be correct. Be careful who you give your info to. Even if it's just your email address. Scammers will not stop scamming so watch out and pay close attention to what you are signing up for. Good Luck everyone and be safe!

I have had '' attempts'' on scams many time via telegram, i have confronted these people and also sometimes I pretend to be on the hook so these scumbags get excited and then i confront them .

I have been scammed by several bounty campaigns which have not yet paid although ICo was a success .
795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the Most Powerful Computer on Earth Hack Bitcoin? on: May 06, 2018, 02:17:11 PM
Let me avoid the technical aspects to make things easy for all readers.

So someone said that America's NSA has this great computer(quantum computer) that could easily hack Bitcoin private keys. I really doubt his claim but I know for sure that certain computers  like the most powerful Super Computers are within the reach of some of this Intelligence organizations.
Do you think such computers can crack any security codes put in place to make Bitcoin very secure?

Let me be clear - there is no functional quantum computers on this planet.
And there will be no such technology in at least next 50 years, dont bother thinking about that.

When there will be a quantum computer, it will be able to hack btc.
796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes Bitcoin valuable? on: May 06, 2018, 02:14:15 PM
Bitcoin is valuable because of one thing- demand.
If there would be no demand the price would be 0 - valueless .

Nevertheless the tech and pros and cons, there should be demand.
797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin destroy the world? on: May 06, 2018, 02:12:55 PM
I dont think that energy cost of btc mining will destroy the world.
Our planet has to move to renewables with our without BTC ming.
798  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin continue to rise? on: May 06, 2018, 01:59:43 PM
Overall the rise is quite surprising , I was sure that we wont see any notable bull signs for at least a half a year.
But it seems that there is some good news regarding new big players coming in the game thus it could have some positive impact.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you involved in Cryptocurrency on: May 06, 2018, 01:57:04 PM
2 years back i came across a documentary in Youtube about BTC and ever since got interested in the technology , but only less then a year back i found out about this forum.
