more sell walls appears to bittrex , someone wants to keep the price down very good : ) I need some time to get btc ... relax guys!
|
|
|
If really anon releases the price should be between 5$ to 10 $ per Navajo . Be sure of this many big whales are waiting for some true anon.
Lets get to $1 per NAV first Do you Guys remember Aurora coin? I think it is exactly one year ago. I nearly fell over when it pushed over 40$ the only time my mining made profit! This year will start with Navajo! And we are here to stay guys!
|
|
|
I thought the same but wasnt sure if alone I really can do it. But if more members think about this ...we can do it!
often the problem is, people say they will do it, then at the time you sit before the monitor, just shifted all btc as buywall, but nobody else participates and your btc gets eaten )) But we should really do it!
|
|
|
i hope so too. but if everybody here just wait for it to go up, nothing will happen. if anon really gets live it would be great if we all buy lets say 0.5 btc...so if top 100 does that, then we have 50 btc to spent. price will skyrocket and a big buy wall can be created...
i have 2btc ready in case anon gets live...will buy once i have tested it and once im sure it works like expected..
that is a very good point! I am also trying to get some btc ready asap

Hmm I understand all your dissatisfaction but look at one thing. I assume the Dev Team want to maximize profit and really go to the top and what is more important STAY THERE!. They have to have PR strategy of realising Anon.In my opinion thats why they avoided December as a month of this big event.the concrete date of realising isnt good move cause it will be only pump and dump sequence.
It would be very nice if this is the case but it doesn't sound plausible to me. It is a feature rapidly being developed all over the scene and even if it is superior (and until we see a working version it is all speculation no matter how credible soopy appears to be) it's no longer revolutionary. I fear the biggest disappointment would be if it came and it worked well and price still did not skyrocket. Not because of PR or bad timing of a few days but but simply because its no longer enough. In any case, a faster release is better provided that the feature is ready. And if its not pump and dump it doesn't matter if its near christmas. But faster is always better. Enough speculation. How many coins are really anonymous? Do they really have REAL ANONYMOUS TRANSACTIONS? Already has passed so much time and believe me it's not bad to wait and stay cool and the dev to work and concentrate on whatever they trying to do. Have patience guys and let's the time to tell what that has reserved for us. Be positive and cool. Exactly! +1000

To the others, can somebody reproduce this behaviour?
May be a intermittent problem, can be nothing, or a hard row to hoe. It would be very useful to know which versions have problems: 1) On which operating system (32 or 64) was working the Wallet 2) If you were using binary taken from OP or if it is a personal compilation 3) If after the crash, in the debug.log there are strange errors (especially in the last lines) 4) Possibly, in what state was the wallet at the time of the crash, (for example: the window was open on the Overview page, or on the transaction list, or in staking, or if you were running some operation) 5) How much time the wallet was open before crash 6) How much memory the computer have 7) If the dialog Stake Report was open or not. In this regard, I do not think that the Stake Report is the cause, but as a precaution, I would recommend you do some tests normally holding it closed. ( ) PS: Sorry, i was away with family. Just for the record: windows 7 64bit with QT GUI and Debian 64 and 32 but without GUI. Windows from the homepage and linux self compiled. I have never experienced an error like described!

Hi Guys,
I have not experienced one of these problems. Especially the network problem. I am regulary switching to VPN and do not have internet access, but as soon as I quit VPN again, the wallet reconnects and works like expected...
To the others, can somebody reproduce this behaviour?
Thank you Shahim

If you're on Windows you may use 7zip to extract the blk0001.dat file to %APPDATA%\SummerCoinV2\
I think the blockchain files are not compatible accross different OSes You'd better get a blockchain from a linux machine to another linux machine and ditto for windows. 32 and 64bit windows blockchains are interchangeable however. Or at least that worked for me Actually they are! I tried several times and used linux blockchain for ms and reverse. Works like a charm If you need something, just post here . I can also upload another chain data. But first try the link above! Thnx and merry Xmas to all of you!

@Shahim. Is it possible to add a "last updated" field above the richlist so we can see when it has been updated?
And another question, are the address from the users on the exchanges not listed? I mean i check my bittrex account i see i have my own nav-bittrex address, but i dont see that address listed in the richlist.
Hi, yes we are working on that. Time and last counted block will be there somewhere... (yes Remy, I know ;-)) To the bittrex addresses.... the richlist is not filtered in any way! It just counts and sums every transaction and returns this in a list. Have you tried to search your address with the block explorer? Perhaps Bittrex is hosting a big wallet offline and all you see on the webinterface is virtual, unless you withdraw something? I really don't know, but when I search my address in the block explorer, I can see a balance of 3999,99 NAV. But when I check my balance there it says there are 7120 Nav avaiable. So I think they work with some kind of cold storage tech, to secure themself. When I search my private address the correct amount is shown!

I confess confusion. That's where I got the zip FROM, actually. There's a link on the right side of the page about midway down labeled "Download ZIP" and pointing to https://github.com/sherlockcoin/navajocoin/archive/master.zip(although when I download it the filename is actually "navajocoin-master.zip", not "master.zip". I didn't realize the link and filenames could be different.) The zip contains instructions for 2 alternate installation methods for installing "navajocoin-qt" for Debian type systems (such as 'buntus). Both seem to require only the files in the zip and stuff on the distro's regular repo. There are also instructions for installing a CLI-only (no gui) version. Are you outlining another method of doing the same things? Or something else that has to be done first? I was under the impression "git" was software for collaboration between programmers working on the same project. But it sounds like you are saying that "git clone http://www.Github.com/sherlockcoin/navajocoin" (without quote marks) is the equivalent of downloading the zip and then extracting it. Reading the article on "git" in wikipedia I get the vague idea it may be inherently more secure, at least if you are going to be downloading succeeding revisions. Am I making any sense? If I'm reading them right, the instructions in the zip say all I have to do is open the file navajocoin-qt.pro (provided in the zip) with qtcreator (which is in the Ubuntu Trusty repo) and it will create an executable file "navajocoin-qt" which I gather is a gui ap for receiving and disbursing Navahocoins. That sure sounds simple. Is there any reason not to do it that way? Any way I've downloaded the zip twice, about a day ago and again a few hours ago. Both files have a sha512sum of 6b82f85118c3b87f049834c79c4e51c608049cb0adbe3fffc68101373b10dbcb312f0fccab1411e c542349961189dfef686ee48a7718860d6a3b9982375e75f9 Failing devs with published public keys and signed hashes or an apt repository that handles that under the hood the way Debian-family repos do, it would be nice if y'all would at least publish the appropriate hashes. That's not something that needs to wait for the next release. It only takes a minute. I don't mean to sound whiny. I do appreciate the efforts y'all have gone to and I hope it profits you. And finagle knows, I may have totally misunderstood something. You may think I'm ridiculously paranoid, but these kinds of precautions are common with security-critical software. And software that has the potential to render government monopolized fiat currencies irrelevant anachronisms threatens the interests of some of the most powerful and most evil people on the planet. I don't think that's melodrama, just realism. So, yeah, I PRACTICE being paranoid. Cause practice makes perfect. I just hope we're all perfect ENOUGH if the smelly stuff ever really hits the fan. Thanks for your efforts. HI, when you download the zip from github, it is exact the same as exporting the repo with the "git clone" command. Github just offers alternative ways to download these files. The zip is an automated generated zip file when pressing download as zip! I don't think we are able to add a checksum to this file, but we will investigate! In near future we will host the windows and MAC wallet on our own space and will also place a checksum of these files on our homepage! When you are a linux user, you have to get the actual files from github and choose wether you like to have a gui or just commandline. When compiling the QT the way using QT creator or commandline qt is the correct way. I am only using commandline wallet for linux it is faster compiling. I hope I read your post right! If you have further questions, feel free to contact us, or post here! regards shahim
