781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HVC] Heavycoin - Ultra-secure, Decentralized Block Reward Voting, Fast on: April 29, 2014, 04:18:21 PM
anyone willing to resurrect it?  Grin

I really like HVC as a coin, the "cooler" mining and the fact it has a miner that kicks ass on nvdia cards... but without leadership it won't go very far. Needs more merchants to accept it, needs more buzz around it.

I'm holding some hvc because i'm hoping it gets a pump someday Smiley

You have unique chance to dump it now.  Grin Some fanatic supporter of HVC has placed buy order of 839 SAT and everybody dumping into it right now. Smiley Looks like some little pump attempt. :-)

No. Without active developer and some marketer, coin has no chance to survive long-time. Every day new coins are launched with the only and single purpose. PUMP AND FREAKIN DUMP. There are always new people comming in crypto world (like me 3 months ago) who have no idea what is this shit all about and can be literally "robbed" by senior crypto dumpers and such robberies can be done best on newly launched coins without any negative history behind them. Many people put too much emotions in specific coins and believe that one day "their" alt coin would replace Bitcoin, whereas the DEV and SENIOR MINERS/DUMPERS just wait for the best moment to dump everything and jump on new coin.

If there is any new coin currently which has some potential to become real currency next to BTC or LTC, it's BC and I'm glad I dumped all the HVC shit with 80% loss and invested those little remains in BC as I believe I will make enough profit soon from BC to cover the HVC losses and losses also from other P&D shitcoins I was mining last months. Actually I'm already profitable as I bought BC when it was 9500 SAT so that one time investment covered all my costs related to buying mining rig and electricity bills for cca 3 months of nonstop mining (where 1 month just for damn HVC).

ccx.hardcoreminers.com pool is screwed. No payouts, no blocks found.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CCX] CornerstoneCoin * POW/POS * 18 Days of POW * 3 Exchanges!! on: April 28, 2014, 02:38:44 PM
Hey Dev. Is it normal when I got huge amount of CCX from Hardcoreminers pool? See my wallet:

I checked the pool and it seems like that the block 1832 was found by me and I got whole reward. Is it some special feature like lottery or is it some bug?

don't ask - JUST TAKE IT!!!

NO WAY!!! I'm honest person and want to return it back to network. :-)  If I got this unexpected bounty with my poor 2Mh rig, than what bounties could have got big guys with >20Mh rigs? :-) If it's some code bug I'm leaving this joke, if not then this is great feature and motivation. Smiley

OK guys, had enough. Leaving the ship. Dumped all my 40K and jumping full speed on BC before the the price starts skyrocketing again. There is no reason to wait for miracles. Keccak simply ran away with his IPO and doesn't give a shit anymore. I was too naive thinking that some higher power will save the coin. Maybe in fairytail. The only thing which can save the coin is a massive pump by some whale but again only few would profit, most of poor guys just loose...again. And as the coin has no volume, even whales don't give a shit. I finally understood how this crypto world works, it's just one giant pyramid game where 5% of smart guys take the profits, rest 95% just hold their bags. It took me 2 months to understand these hard rules of this world. After seeing how most of the shitcoins are sentenced to death everyday without any hope for recovery, I think HVC is no different from othose coins. Without strong marketing, no coin can survive in such hostile environment. Nobody gives a shit about speed or security of some coin or how perfectly it can be mined with low power consumption. Most of us are here to make profit, no matter if I will need a nuclear power plant built next to my house to power my GPU's as long as this crazyness is profitable. I spend enormous time watching BC and invested into it when it was 9500, had really strong hands when big whales were dumping it hard. And look, BC rising like a beast always. And reason? Strong dev and marketing team and even stronger community. I haven't found anything like that in any coins, HVC including. High-end coin specification will never make it successfull, it's clear now.

Sorry for this FUD or trolling or whatever you call it, I don't see light at the end of tunnel anymore.
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HVC] Heavycoin - Ultra-secure, Decentralized Block Reward Voting, Fast on: April 27, 2014, 08:16:58 AM
stop talking shit. Now All need working:
1. Create foudnation
2.Setup Working Group
3.Use fund setup marketing campaign.

Yes community needs to take over this. Do we have access to HVC source code so that somebody can update it as the community wishes? After it's forked, we can restart marketing.

Guys, could you please somebody tell me what is good hashrate for DARKCOIN via SGMiner on Radeon R7 260x? I'm currently getting 360Kh/s. Can you please post some config for this gpu? Thanks.
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE ANN] Mjollnircoin - MNR - Ultra-secure, Fast Transactions & ASIC resistant on: April 26, 2014, 08:19:49 PM
I have bad feeling that Mjollnircoin dev is the same person as HVC dev (keccak512) who abandoned HVC ship long time ago and is now trying the same IPO scam. It's worth trying to create another clone if couple of tens (if not hundreds) of BTCs can be earned so easily. HVC story has proven that there are always hordes of greedy fools who are willing to invest in some shitcoins even before they are launched so why not try the same concept once again.

Please PM me when this coin is dead. I will shift-delete the wallet from my PC with all the mined coins. Thanks.

If you are so certain the coin will fail, why not sell them now? #logicfail

It's just more entertaining to shift-delete the wallet with some worthless coins. Smiley

SimkoMiner,

Do you remember where you got this from?  Love to read more about it.

Somebody on Tweeter posted that picture. But here is some article about that farm -> http://www.datacenterknowledge.com/archives/2014/02/06/bitcoin-miners-building-10-megawatt-data-center-sweden/

OK...  take a chill pill everybody...  it is time for those beautiful charts to be posted...  maybe the pool operators should make a promotional post about their pools too...  hopefully there will be people from the Thunderclap stoping by soon...  let's be prepared to provide information.
+1000. I took couple of pills, three beers and popcorn. ;-). Buying 100K when the price hits 1000.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HVC] Heavycoin - Ultra-secure, Decentralized Block Reward Voting, Fast on: April 21, 2014, 03:33:24 PM
I don't wanna look naive but low-power, ultra-secure and fast HVC still has advantages which can be greatly appreciated during summer when ASICs hit market with full power. Gridseeds already started this new era of crypto-world disruption. And it is quite clear that all those ASIC manufacturers already mine too secretly while testing the devices. Not talking about the fact that hashing will be centralized by huge ASIC farms. See below KNC hashing farm. It's just i.n.s.a.n.e.  I believe majority of miners will be quite disappointed when ASIC farms start centralizing hashing power and dumping all the coins immediately to cover electricity and hosting costs. GPU guys will be done, guys who bought some ASICs will never profit as well because till those ASIC machines will be shipped to them, the ASIC farms will be couple of steps ahead of them again and difficulty up again. The only way to earn some money with ASIC will be sticking to mining freshly launched shitcoins, and when they hit exchange...just dump them, the first ones will be the winners, majority loosers. But again the ASIC farms will have huge advantage over single ASIC owners. And poor GPU owners will have simply no other option just to stick to GPU coins, or just dump their hardware to eBay. Oh yeah, and I forgot, playing new games with quad-gpu in cross-fire is an experience worth earning millions of coins. Smiley

797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: April 21, 2014, 02:58:43 PM
And what if BC doesn't go up again?

For all I know it's a crappy coin that was instamined in a week, and 10% in the first ten minutes.
Hype train leading to the first guys who got in dumping on fools...

That's what happened already, but well, good luck.

If BC doesn't go up, than whole crypto world is doomed for good because so far I haven't seen a coin with such strong and creative community trying to make the coin valuable. Coinkite is the reason why this coin might succeed and I believe this is just beginning. We might encounter couple of mega, ultra and epic dumps but coin will grow further. If I look on charts of majority coins on any exchange, the graphs have always the same trajectory..straight up, then straigh down...then little up and back to hell. Few winners, majority loosers. In other words...new modern form of pyramid game or ponzi scheme.

Why are you mining at blackcoinpool anyway?

I'd reccomend capitalizing on the people wanting to mine scrypt renting your rig at nicehash and/or betarigs.com  Cool

As for stability, yeah, those clocks look pretty high. I can't stabilize mem clocks over 300 on the cards I got. (zotac single fan 750 ti 2gb)
blackcoinpool was very profitable last week (right now I just have 300Mhash/s sha 256 getting 0.2BC/day)

You still mine with 300MH SHA? You rock dude. Smiley I am already now trying to sell my 32Gh SHA ASIC as it's just wasting energy. I get 0.01 BTC in cca 4 days, difficulty is insane now. But I mine on Ghash.IO because I can squeeze more speed from that asic. Somehow it doesn't run full power when mining to some pools like BCPool, maybe because of higher level of rejections. But anyway I convert all BTC into BC whenever price is low. But generally mining on any pool which directly sells to BC is currently the best deal because BC is rising up constantly. So what you mine today will have double value in few weeks or months. And actually the best period for mining on BCPool is when BC is down, then lot's of cheap BCs are purchased by pool. Smiley

Your driver is crashing from the overclock. I use EVGA 750Ti SC edition and have to watch my overclocks so I don't crash the driver.

I also have that feeling that it's because of overclocking. I read somewhere that somebody was able to pull out more than 320Kh/s on scrypt with 750Ti SC so I wonder how such hashrate could be achieved. Could you please send me your CudaMiner config and your overclock settings if you run in overclocked mode? What is your hashrate?

I use this card: http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-3753-KR

My config is following:

x64\cudaminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://www.blackcoinpool.com:3333 -u username -p password -i 0 -l T5x24 -C 2 -H 1
