782  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 30, 2015, 04:25:48 PM
In my opinion, you should be doing both at the same time.

Everyone must have some money for rainy days, but at the same time, you should invest some of your money, to make profits in the future. At the same time, be self aware, because if you don't know what to invest your money in, you will loose them.
Thats right, you can choose either saving or investing, because saving and investing are both useful and that 2 have a connection, like you must save first till its enough to invest, after investing your money and its successful save it again and buy those things that you need and want.

I prefer the method of all what i save to invest only a part of them or max 50% investing in a good projects or in cloud mining and other things. Not investing all of your saved money because if you fail then it will hurt too much.

What I do is just invest the minimum amount of Bitcoins in a service (like for example: cloud mining) That way when something unexpected happens I could be safe that I've only lost very little of my earnings instead of spending all my savings  Grin

A quote says "Invest as much as you can afford loosing them". Every investors risk their money with the hope that one day will get profit from it.
but some people thought that they coins or money will lose if they invest it and they are afraid taking the risk and also they more likely to bought their wants and needs than to grow their money.

If people are afraid of losing their money they have 2 choices or invest in their self to create a company or save their money and no change will happen.

There is a service which offers custom bitcoin addresses but they steal your money as is reported here.
784  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: August 29, 2015, 06:08:21 PM
i had a payment from my signature campaign, the payment is pretty decent 0.04 for 20 posts i guess its the best campaign
i earned from my campaign today, besides that i got a small payment from the faucets i use and wagered it on dice

I just checked the signature campaign thread and seems that it is closed now. It was running good for 20 weeks as Carra23 said.
Earnings today come from Faucets.
785  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people are using Bitcoin debit card? on: August 29, 2015, 04:00:34 PM
useful to withdraw your earnings

It's hard to believe it, If you have 0.2BTC in your wallet (bitcoin debit card) then most of them will be spent on fees. Check my post for example 2 type of debit cards:

-snip-

For the coinomat debit card here is the link with fees: https://coinomat.com/cards.php
And bit-x debit card https://bit-x.com/guide/bitx-cards

787  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Members bitcointalk with avatar on: August 29, 2015, 02:41:25 PM
Is these the members that has a default avatar on it?
But, I think your price is too high. Sad

Lboss said that these accounts that have avatar have no choice to change it until they get to a higher rank (to Full Member)
788  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Purse.io - Bitcoin Amazon Marketplace - Save ~10-25% on Amazon Wishlist on: August 29, 2015, 01:57:49 PM
I just purchased some things with purse, using 15% discount, it didn't take too long for my order to be accepted by someone, just 1 day. So far the only disadvantage that i see is that sometimes the buyers of the items take too long to provide tracking information on the items.

I think some buyers are concerned about re-routing scams so they do not provide the tracking until its delivered to show proof of delivery.

I ended up losing a few BTC on Purse (buying BTC) since I have had a handful of users say they haven't received package, although tracking shows delivered, or no tracking (some 3rd party sellers don't post) but no return.. Purse tends to side with the receipients and Amazon is strict about that, make the claim more than a few times and they will hold/close your account.. I'm tired of the bullshit Purse threw at me over a number of transactions and the apparent assumption the buyer is telling the truth, over 200 TX without a single negative feedback but I am staying away for now.

I'll add to that, some of the gift cards I purchased on Purse a couple of months (purchased dozens) ago have been flagged as invalid, downside is Amazon rarely tells you which ones,'still fighting that problem now, lost a few more BTC that way.. Purse made a good move in disallowing purchases of them now, but it sure provides some insight into a set of users on the site..

This is a bad story about purse, i have read also in reddit i think about a similiar story when he had trouble with the item that he bought in amazon through purse. I would sell the bitcoin for paypal or cash and purchase items as usual.
789  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you guess about he future of bitcoin? on: August 29, 2015, 11:40:37 AM
I think BTC future is bright.  Wink It is most popular crypto in the world  Grin
Bitcoin already most popular cryptocurrency, sadly bitcoin price now is cheap. I just hope bitcoin stable in range 600-700 not much what i want only that

bitcoi isn't the most popular is the only one that make sense, the other are clone, so this isn't even an achievement

if we can surpass this storm about the BIPxxx i'm sure bitcoin will grow even stronger, rest assured

Range 600-700 is to high to think this year. It would be nice if in September it will reach 300$ again.
And about the popularity bitcoin is leading we know that, but there are also other coins that have a huge impact.

something telling me that when the rally will start you will not see a slow escalation to 300, 500, 600 etc... but a good pump toward 1k and a big price correction

I saw when people are in groups and pump the price of a coin extremely high and i was just seeing the orders and was very fast buy and sell. Like this i imagine it was when the bitcoin price was at $1,000. Would like to see it again Tongue

On YoBit buy orders starting from 0.00000047 and sell orders starting from 0.00000140
Isn't this a huge difference for DUB price ? I see the graph and it is +197% which is pretty good.
791  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people are using Bitcoin debit card? on: August 29, 2015, 11:18:37 AM
I'm planning to get 1 for myself but I will not use it like my regular credit card, just for emergency purposes only and I heard fee's are kinda high

The 2 bitcoin debit card that i am searching are bit-x and coinomat card(coinocard)
For the coinomat debit card here is the link with fees: https://coinomat.com/cards.php
And bit-x debit card https://bit-x.com/guide/bitx-cards

Both of them have similar fees but it is still high. Do you know any other?

I don't have one myself, well at least don't have anything in it. But I do know people who use it, it is pretty nice. Fees are not low though. I still prefer regular, btc is just my hobby.

I also don't one because of as of now I don't see any need of it. I can easily trade my coins without any debit card.

At the moment i dont have any of them, the fees are little high for me. If i earn lots of bitcoins then the fees are low(nothing). Maybe waiting for a bit they will start lowering the fees.

Once upon a time, when I was new to bitcoin and seems something strange that it was possible to have money for free I used faucets to have bitcoins. Hours and hours of fatigue and boredom for nothing. Then one day stopped this stupid thing and discovered the signature campaigns. With them recently I am having satisfaction earnings. Hope that this continue. I write my thoughts and someone pay me for this. It is not a wonderful thing?

I was in your feet, i know that feeling spending hours staying up till the morning for few cents and solving captcha. And yeah i found signature campaign which are brilliant.

797  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Members bitcointalk with avatar on: August 28, 2015, 09:55:30 PM
I can confirm that the member accounts sent via PM has avatar. It's quite interesting to me. I am learning new things. Let's hope you will sell at that price Smiley

Doesn't mean that the account is worth $200+. Think about it. What can you do with a newbie with an avatar?... Look cool?

I said before that it does not worth that money. It is just a member account with an avatar nothing more, it gives you an opportunity to have an avatar while being a member until you reach full member which is pretty near.
798  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sign a message?! on: August 28, 2015, 09:33:43 PM
The tutorial is awesome, more and more people need to see this, it's well explained.

Ha-ha. Give eme member acc 2011 reg with avatar and i can pay 1.2btc

I have 2011 acc with avatar. If you are serious , I can sell it for 1.2 BTC. We can make little negotiation Wink

Note for other people , BTW, you cannot change avatar if you have rank lower than FM.

Why is it special comparing with other accounts? So changing avatar is no possible i dont see any difference then.
If you can send me the account link in pm i appreciate it.

Let's face it: you can have the avatar PLUS a full member account if you post for just a couple months, or maybe spend ~0.08BTC on a full member. There. Was that worth $230 to have a newbie with a random avatar that you may or may not even like?

This is what i said? Maybe that account can hold 2x avatar? I am waiting for his response i dont think an account has a value of 1.2BTC

Sent the link , I dont think it worths 1.2 BTC but OP has claimed to pay 1.2 BTC. Still waiting response from him.

I can confirm that the member accounts sent via PM has avatar. It's quite interesting to me. I am learning new things. Let's hope you will sell at that price Smiley

sorry im new here. can someone explain what a sig campaign is?

It is a code which you put in your signature which is a space under each your post made in forum. To put custom code there campaign managers pay you for each post. The rate depends from signature to other signatures and from your forum rank.
i just applied to steadyturtles campaign. hope i get in.  Grin Grin
this forum seems amazing, you get paid for having conversations lol. is it just me or does this 6min posting wait time seem a bit harsh?

I think they will accept if in their rules is that newbie are welcome Smiley, it's a good start here is a summary of bitcoin signature campaigns so you can choose where do you want to apply just check if newbie is available
