Burst is holding strong at the 55 sats level even though BTC is now above $1,000 This is a good sign that Burst has support even though BTC is rising and rising quickly. I picked up a few more and invested in some more assets.

The 3rd and final test of the series starts today between Australia and Pakistan at the SCG. Australia have brought in another spinner as the SCG is normally a spinners pitch so it will be interesting to see if Australia go with 2 spinners in this test and maybe rest one of the fast bowlers. Australia will be looking for a clean sweep of the series and like I have said from the start before the test series even started that I think Australia would win 3-0 and I still think that now.

Yeah I mainly use Cryptopia because I can trade in LTC and Doge for 1337 coins and because most of the 1337 coins I buy come from the funds I earn from LTC and Dogecoin faucets, it makes it easier for me to use this exchange.
7864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your new year start in gambling! on: January 02, 2017, 09:26:26 PM
Congrats mate on your win.

I had a nice little win today on the EPL with a parlay but it wasn't much. It was my first bet for 2017 so at least I'm also off to a great start for the new year and hopefully it continues for all of us here who have had a great start to 2017 gambling.
7865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 02, 2017, 09:23:28 PM
Both Manchester clubs have been in top form lately and thanks to them I have won some good money with my parlays. Chelsea can pull right away at the top with a win over Tottenham but it will be a tough game and because I am a Man City game I'm hoping Tottenham can win or at least come a draw.

It's brand new starting game for Roger Federer. Nadal have already proved by winning the Abu dhabi exhibition tennis tittle, now this is Roger's turn. After almost half a year resting, his fitness level is definitely in top of the hill. Small character like Daniel Evans won't stand in the big man way,  Federer 2 - 0 @ 1.41 easily.
Daniel does have experience facing against big players but he hasn't been able to win against any of them and same happened today , Federer just took the match away from Daniel easily . He missed many easy backhands Federer but he did play class tennis to seal the victory . Good to see him back .

I agree Daniel was simply outclassed by one of the best players to ever play the game and that's what good players do after coming back from a long time out of the game. Federer said that he wants to play tennis for another 2 to 3 years before he retires and I think he can do it however not sure if he can win another Grand Slam but I wouldn't count him out because like I said good players find a way to win and he could win another Grand Slam or two. Can't wait to see him in the Australian Open.
7867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 02, 2017, 06:40:54 AM
David Ferrer b Bernard TOmic in straight sets . I was expecting 3 sets as Bernard was in good form .

Edward has good odds of @1.38 against Escobedo, Ernesto . Going for parlay with bacsinsky match will be a good pick .

Yeah I also though Tomic would of pushed Ferrer to at least 3 sets as Tomic has been playing some good tennis the past few months. Looking forward to seeing Federer in action later on tonight and hopefully he gets through with no issues as it can be tough playing after being out for a long time with injury.

Man, Kirk Cousins and the Washington Redskins are so fail. They had two chances - last week and this week - to claim a playoff spot and laid an egg both times. Pathetic. Lost both bets for today, but meh, it was only two bets. I'm already looking forward to next week's NFL playoff action as well as the College Football Playoff National Championship between Alabama and Clemson.

Sunday results:

New York Giants @ Washington Redskins, Over 46 (1.948) : -1.00 bet unit
Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions +3 (2.056) : -1.00 bet unit

Sunday Total: -2.00 bet units
Thread Total: +10.03 bet units

Even though it was a bad result overall you have done well up 10 units since starting this topic. I am also looking forward to next weeks playoffs and i still have one bet alive for the Super Bowl and that is the New York Giants. I was a little upset as the teams I picked last week all won this week but I didn't bet lol. Anyway we move onto next week and hopefully we both do well.

One suggestion for the Admins here because it could protect others from waht happened me in the past: The Assets wich turned out as SCAM, e.g. BurstVest (9942303089158877431), should be marked as scam in the Asset List which is provided for users (http://util.burst-team.us:8888/asset).

I know that everyone could informe itsself about assets also in the busrt forum (https://forums.burst-team.us/category/34/asset-scams) but i guess a lot of new users for Burst investing without looking at this site. Only a suggestion i would appreciate because i know from what i am writing (happened to me as a rookie also, cause not checking the whole informations).

I've asked Luxe if it would be possible to move the known scams of to a separate session for scam coins.

It should be in the next version. Manually configured list of scam coins that will be listed as such.

That's great to hear and is there anyway we can delete a scam asset from the my assets tab? because I'm sick of seeing the BurstVest assets that I purchased, thankfully not many as it turned scam. Anyway just picked up some more Burstaker assets and some Bsilver assets.

Happy New Year and may 2017 be a successful and prosperous year for Burst and the community!

Send them off to BURST-ESXL-XNWN-3XDF-AAPKX - it's an account I setup to receive scam assets you're embarrassed to hold, then you'll be able to delete it from your list of assets.

Thanks haitch, I'll send them to this address right now and like I said I don't own many of them.

Quote
@haitch, vella85:  i send my burstvests back to the asset issuer with a nice kind of message....not for public Wink thanks for configuring the list !

I understand how you feel as it was a well worked scam from the start but hopefully now with the verification in place we don't get any more scams. 2017 is here and I believe it will be the year Burst really starts to take off.

1337 reached 2 sats today Shocked

Really?

Wow but again it has been dumped which is sad to see as we need it to stay at around 1 sat. However it's great to see 1337 coin get some volume at 0.91 BTC so almost 1 full bitcoin. Most of the trading was on Cryptopia and it was with Doge and some LTC.
7871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 01, 2017, 09:48:42 PM
Actually Sri lanka and other asian teams hardly survive in the fast pitches of Australia or Africa or even England. Pakistan is doing really well though I have to say, considering they don't have any teams touring them. Yet maintaining a ranking
It is not entirely true as India has played  matches and won in England and Australia and they have the best record outside the continent when you compare the teams in Asia and Pakistan is playing in neutral pitches in the UAE and was winning matches and so is the reason they are ranked higher .Every team is strong when they are playing in their home ground  so there is nothing surprising about it.

To be honest India have not won many matches in Australia only 5 test matches since they started playing in Australia in 1947/48 and like I said since that time they have only won 5 test matches which is poor. They have never won a test series in Australia where as Australia has won 4 test series playing in India with a few drawn test series as well. So I can see where some people are coming from when they say that Asian teams can't play well on fast pitches.
7872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: best live bet on: January 01, 2017, 09:37:18 PM
For live betting I always use DirectBet only because it's fast and easy to use without having to sign up and deposit funds into. And non crypto sportsbooks I also use Bet365 for live betting as they seem to offer great odds compared to other sportsbooks and also they have better alternative betting lines unlike some other sportsbooks.

A couple of big upsets so far today with the Jets thrashing the Bills and also the Eagles beating the Cowboys and also the Browns are playing well and might even pull off another big upset in OT by beating the Steelers at home. I decided not to post tips on this weeks games after last weeks terrible result.
7874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 01, 2017, 09:22:10 PM
Nick Kyrgios looked good in his first match back after that ban he got for tanking in which he won easily. However Australia lost overall to Spain as Dasha lost and also Australia lost their mixed doubles match to Spain. I'm looking forward to seeing Roger Federer play later on today in his first match after 6 months off due to injury. Also there are some good matches to look out for in the Brisbane International today.

2017 will be a very exciting year for BitBay.
We will fork to POS3 in january, so check in often the next two weeks to keep updated.
The fork will lay the groundwork for cold staking, pegging, and more  Smiley

Happy new year

I think 2017 will also be an exciting year for BitBay and I'll be sure to check in more often here to keep updated on what is going on with the coin. And right now the coin is cheap so any new investor can afford to get in and own some BitBay coins.

Happy New Year everyone!

The new tennis season starts today with the Hopman Cup in Perth and first up we have the Czech Republic v USA Lucie Hradecka (CZE) v CoCo Vandeweghe (USA) Adam Pavlasek (CZE) v Jack Sock (USA) Hradecka / Pavlasek v Vandeweghe / Sock and then later on tonight Australia v Spain where we will see Nick Kyrgios (AUS) v Feliciano Lopez (ESP) it will be Nick's first tennis match since his ban for tanking so it will be interesting to see how he goes. Alos the other matches are Daria Gavrilova (Aus) v Lara Arruabarrena (ESP) Gavrilova / Kyrgios v Arruabarrena / Lopez. Australia will be looking to defend their title here as they are the current champions for this tournament as they won it last year.

Does anyone here watch the Big Bash League in Australia?

The New Years Eve match between the Sydney Sixes and Adelaide Strikers was another entertaining New Years Eve game just like last years New Years Eve game. The scores were not that high but it was an entertaining match to watch and a match for the bowlers with the Strikers winning in the end easily. The Sixes had their chance and looked at 0/34 until they lost their first wicket and after that they just collapsed.

See once again the price started to rise and again it has been dumped back down however it's good to see 1337 coin get some volume in the market almost 1 full Bitcoin in the last 24 hours. I'll once again use some of my faucet earnings to pick up some more 1337 coins on Sunday when I get paid. Happy New Year to everyone here!

where do you see this trading? which exchange? Smiley

I check the overall trading on coinmarketcap.

Quote
current 1337 price is 0.0043 dogecoins. once the price will go down than 0.001 dogecoin, it will be the point of now return.

i remember that i bought this coin even at 1 satoshi, and today the value has been dropped to 0.1 satoshi.

i also keep on buying more 1337 coins resulting my staking rewards to raise, hopefully some day i`ll win the race against the price drop.

I bought 1337 coins also at 1 sats each and have continued to buy almost every week since with Doge and LTC which like I have been saying from the funds I earn from faucets. Yes hopefully the price gets back at 1 sats in 2017.

Not long now before the new year of tennis starts and I'm looking forward to the Hopman Cup and Brisbane International. And the good news is that Roger Federer is fit and ready to go in the Hopman Cup in Perth. His first match is on New Years Day and can't wait to see him back in action again and to also see him back playing Grand Slam tennis.
