7948  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is satoshi hiding ? scam? or really future money... on: March 21, 2013, 02:42:14 PM
If you knew anything about the history of currencies in general you'd understand exactly why Satoshi is staying anonymous, the people who have made paper money ( I.E the Federal Reserve ) are a very real conspiracy that are out to screw us all and it wouldn't surprise me if they wanted to get Satoshi to make an example of him so people would be too scared to make their own currencies and so on. Think about it, this technology is a bit like discovering aliens or finally making a consistent, cheap source of electricity, what would be the smartest thing to do? Distribute it to everyone, tell them how to make it and then stay the fuck out of the way so you don't get targeted, safety in numbers and all that.

Satoshi Nakamoto is doing exactly what I'd do if I ever found something so world changing and substantial.
7949  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why are bitcoins so hard to purchase? on: March 21, 2013, 02:01:05 PM
Bitcoin exist exactly because the current system SUCKS. If we already had a good system wich allowed us to easily buy everything without problems we would not need bitcoin  Cheesy But since the current methods all sucks, this is why bitcoin is growing so much!

That's basically it, if you're actually interested in just acquiring Bitcoins for the sake of preserving your wealth and you don't really care too much about profit taking I'd recommend spending some money on a mining rig if you can't find a way to buy it with fiat. You can bet that soon enough when they start to understand it governments will start persecuting people who want to buy Bitcoin as much as possible.

7951  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ASICS - death knell for BTC? on: March 20, 2013, 09:52:06 PM
You're a few months too late, there were a bunch of people here troll spamming exactly what you've typed now and if you'd bothered looking around you'd find the topic has been argued to death.

The concept is simple, each game will be assigned X numbers of micro bitcoins (or something similar) each time the game is installed, it will send X automatically to the game maker. When the balance is zero, the game will start asking for money or will be crippled.

As a gamer I will see companies like Electronic Arts, Lucas Arts and yes even Valve, any that use these kind of systems will be kicked out of the industry, this kind of thing is precisely why I oppose any kind of DRM. These people don't care about intellectual property rights or making good games, they just want to make sure that the customers pay even if that means screwing over people who willingly play by their rules.

I have a particular vandetta against Sony Online Entertainment as well for what they did to Pre-Cu Star Wars Galaxies
7953  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just bought in at $64.05 on: March 20, 2013, 05:51:45 PM
Why buy Bitcoins? If anything this should be the time you demand Bitcoin in payment for your services over paper currencies, it will take less time and effort in the long run.
7954  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why do people hate litecoin? on: March 19, 2013, 10:47:43 PM
For the exact same reasons they hate Bitcoin, ignorance.
7955  Other / Meta / Re: A new Bitcointalk? Less nonsense, more bitcoin? on: March 19, 2013, 10:07:10 PM
Note how I said 'trying' and for the most part, moderators almost always go on a power trip if they get pissed off enough, it's depressing to watch.
7956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin exploded in price on: March 19, 2013, 06:55:59 PM
Bitcoin has little to no practical and no tangible value.
In that case, I'll gladly take your bitcoins off your hand.

gief all your Bitcoins.

7959  Other / Meta / Re: A new Bitcointalk? Less nonsense, more bitcoin? on: March 19, 2013, 03:32:36 PM
I'd like people stop trying to enforce their utopian visions on internet communities all the time myself.
