81  Economy / Securities / Re: Automatic Trading bot developed since early 2011 and going! ✪✪✪✪ free for all on: April 12, 2014, 03:04:00 PM
This looks absolutely legit, where do I have to enter all of my credentials?
82  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Moving Forward/Resolution Process on: March 20, 2014, 02:35:29 AM
Any signs from Ukyo or was he able to escape and hide somewhere?

Are there any lawsuits planned right now? I would start suing from Germany, but I think it's more effective if some US-based victim would start a lawsuit. I am certain we could collect some coins for legal fees. Anyone (preferably reputable) willing to lead/start a lawsuit?
83  Economy / Securities / Re: [Cryptostocks] B.A.M. Mining - Shareholder Driven on: March 19, 2014, 06:07:15 AM
Are you waging in with some capital of your own or are you hoping that the investors will cover all the risk?
84  Economy / Securities / Re: [Cryptostocks] WPOOL - Investing in mining pool better than mining on: March 19, 2014, 06:03:05 AM
I don't see why you need to raise BTC250 if you're already earning over BTC7 a week. That should cover for a lot of servers and possibly for a few staff members.

Is this another case of offloading the risk onto investors?
85  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: March 19, 2014, 05:54:29 AM
So lets do some math!

Current eBay price for Cointerra terraminer iv = ~$10,000 (more like $9,500 with eBay fees shipping etc)
We have to sell 8 units, 8 x 9,500 = $76,000
Current Cog market cap = ~$271,000
271,000 - 84,000 = $195,000

The question: is the value of the other cognitive mining gear + Cointerra refund + 17.5 BTC we're holding > $195,000?

I would guess not...
While I don't completely disagree with you, I want to point out that book value != market cap in many cases. Look at Apple for example.
86  Economy / Securities / Re: [QUINTO] IPO on cryptostocks on: March 19, 2014, 04:26:02 AM
Tell me have any of you nay sayers bothered to email the company or pick up the phone and ASKED for the company financials, spread sheets, backers, partner information? The answer would be no. Why? You are to damn lazy. You would rather troll and bashed based on your obvious lack of knowledge and inability to understand how stocks, whether bitcoin or real money, work.
They want MY money, why the fuck would I call them?

Please stop this sockpuppet nonsense, grow a pair and post your financials, if you have any.

This sounds quite interesting, but please address these points:

Hint: The escrowed funds must be sent to the investment account at latest 24 hours after the closing of the investment period, to be considered valid. If the escrow fails to do so, the funds must be returned to the Investors. We do not take responsibitilty for an escrow going rougue!
It's great that you're offering escrow, but it's quite useless if the money needs to be transfered before the site enters production.

The funds raised here will be used to speed up the development process and pay our staff.
What about the bankroll for the gamling part of the site?

Also I'd like to know how one would divest, would I have to sell the shares? That would make this an IPO, where you don't provide an evaluation for your operation.
88  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Concise Summary of Mt. Gox Problem and whether we should be concerned on: March 02, 2014, 11:13:18 AM
....
Please correct me and add any other pertinent information.
....

The US Gov might have control of the cold storage (related to Silk Road case), and Mark might not be allowed to talk about it (gag order)
We have assumed control...
Why do people always think that the US is the world police? Mtgox is based in Japan, so as long as Karpeles doesn't give two shits, they have no way in gaining control of the cold storage nor does any gag order effect him.

Database seems down. Sorry about that. We've been notified about the problem. Please try again later.
Given the message, I don't think this is a planned maintenance.

They had issues over the last couple days
92  Economy / Securities / Re: [Weexchange issue] The fall of Ukyo III - Updates and references on: February 23, 2014, 04:53:32 PM
Why are people so calm?

I have over 10 BTC stuck, and I am calm simply because I spoke to someone with knowledge of the matter and (s)he believes that everyone will eventually get their BTC back. I was told it could take long, there are government agency(ies) involved.
I've heard that one before
93  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Moving Forward/Resolution Process on: February 19, 2014, 01:21:07 PM
But by using logic, and looking at the the situation rationally, the most likely situation by a very large margin is that he did something illegal and has absconded with the funds.
I really like this idea. Maybe he got problems with the IRS and now his funds are frozen. What does the US law say about earnings in other currencies (bitcoin)?
94  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Moving Forward/Resolution Process on: February 17, 2014, 05:21:32 PM
Is there any hope for us get back the coins from Ukyo?

Yes.

(Does that help?)
Given Ukyos track record of incompetence, I lost all hope the moment it surfaced the coins weren't accesible anymore.
95  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Moving Forward/Resolution Process on: February 12, 2014, 07:49:07 PM
I spoke to him on Skype earlier. Things are progressing but my guess is it'll be a fair while yet unfortunately. As has been said before, some things are out of his hands and they impact the time period involved. Don't ask me how long or if it will work out because I don't know. As long as I feel there is progress then I'll wait.

He should post a progress bar then. What's the current estimate on progress, 2%?
More like .2%, he's currently struggling to go into hiding

97  Economy / Securities / Re: Weexchange/Bitfunder User Deposit Addresses. Where are the coins "gone"? on: February 07, 2014, 07:43:47 PM
There are enormous chunks of bitcoin moving around if you follow the transactions from that address.

Maybe we can try and find a link between these addresses and those used by the claim portal.

Thanks, but I take no credit for these. Someone else compiled that folder, couldn't find a reference though, just had it bookmarked.
